And after Abimelech there arose to defend Israel Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Shamir in mount Ephraim.
- Après Abimélec, Thola, fils de Pua, fils de Dodo, homme d'Issacar, se leva pour délivrer Israël; il habitait à Schamir, dans la montagne d'Éphraïm. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνέστη μετὰ Αβιμελεχ του̃ σω̃σαι τὸν Ισραηλ Θωλα υἱὸς Φουα υἱὸς πατραδέλφου αὐτου̃ ἀνὴρ Ισσαχαρ καὶ αὐτὸς ὤ̨κει ἐν Σαμιρ ἐν ὄρει Εφραιμ (Ⅲ) - Post Abimelech surrexit dux in Israël Thola filius Phua patrui Abimelech, vir de Issachar, qui habitavit in Samir montis Ephraim : (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃10 ויקם אחרי אבימלך להושיע את ישראל תולע בן פואה בן דודו איש יששכר והוא ישב בשמיר בהר אפרים (Ⅴ)

And he judged Israel twenty and three years, and died, and was buried in Shamir.
- Il fut juge en Israël pendant vingt-trois ans; puis il mourut, et fut enterré à Schamir. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔκρινεν τὸν Ισραηλ εἴκοσι τρία ἔτη καὶ ἀπέθανεν καὶ ἐτάφη ἐν Σαμιρ (Ⅲ) - et judicavit Israëlem viginti et tribus annis, mortuusque est, ac sepultus in Samir. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃10 וישפט את ישראל עשרים ושלש שנה וימת ויקבר בשמיר פ (Ⅴ)

And after him arose Jair, a Gileadite, and judged Israel twenty and two years.
- Après lui, se leva Jaïr, le Galaadite, qui fut juge en Israël pendant vingt-deux ans. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνέστη μετ' αὐτὸν Ιαϊρ ὁ Γαλααδ καὶ ἔκρινεν τὸν Ισραηλ εἴκοσι δύο ἔτη (Ⅲ) - Huic successit Jair Galaadites, qui judicavit Israël per viginti et duos annos, (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃10 ויקם אחריו יאיר הגלעדי וישפט את ישראל עשרים ושתים שנה (Ⅴ)

And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havothjair unto this day, which are in the land of Gilead.
- Il avait trente fils, qui montaient sur trente ânons, et qui possédaient trente villes, appelées encore aujourd'hui bourgs de Jaïr, et situées dans le pays de Galaad. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἠ̃σαν αὐτω̨̃ τριάκοντα καὶ δύο υἱοὶ ἐπιβαίνοντες ἐπὶ τριάκοντα δύο πώλους καὶ τριάκοντα δύο πόλεις αὐτοι̃ς καὶ ἐκάλουν αὐτὰς ἐπαύλεις Ιαϊρ ἕως τη̃ς ἡμέρας ταύτης ἐν γη̨̃ Γαλααδ (Ⅲ) - habens triginta filios sedentes super triginta pullos asinarum, et principes triginta civitatum, quæ ex nomine ejus sunt appellatæ Havoth Jair, id est, oppida Jair, usque in præsentem diem, in terra Galaad. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃10 ויהי לו שלשים בנים רכבים על שלשים עירים ושלשים עירים להם להם יקראו חות יאיר עד היום הזה אשר בארץ הגלעד (Ⅴ)

And Jair died, and was buried in Camon.
- Et Jaïr mourut, et fut enterré à Kamon. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ιαϊρ καὶ ἐτάφη ἐν Ραμνων (Ⅲ) - Mortuusque est Jair, ac sepultus in loco cui est vocabulum Camon.\ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃10 וימת יאיר ויקבר בקמון פ (Ⅴ)

And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and served not him.
- Les enfants d'Israël firent encore ce qui déplaît à l'Éternel; ils servirent les Baals et les Astartés, les dieux de Syrie, les dieux de Sidon, les dieux de Moab, les dieux des fils d'Ammon, et les dieux des Philistins, et ils abandonnèrent l'Éternel et ne le servirent plus. (Ⅱ) - καὶ προσέθεντο οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ποιη̃σαι τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου καὶ ἐδούλευσαν τοι̃ς Βααλιμ καὶ ται̃ς Ασταρωθ καὶ τοι̃ς θεοι̃ς Αραδ καὶ τοι̃ς θεοι̃ς Σιδω̃νος καὶ τοι̃ς θεοι̃ς Μωαβ καὶ τοι̃ς θεοι̃ς υἱω̃ν Αμμων καὶ τοι̃ς θεοι̃ς Φυλιστιιμ καὶ ἐγκατέλιπον τὸν κύριον καὶ οὐκ ἐδούλευσαν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Filii autem Israël peccatis veteribus jungentes nova, fecerunt malum in conspectu Domini, et servierunt idolis, Baalim et Astaroth, et diis Syriæ ac Sidonis et Moab et filiorum Ammon et Philisthiim : dimiseruntque Dominum, et non coluerunt eum. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃10 ויספו בני ישראל לעשות הרע בעיני יהוה ויעבדו את הבעלים ואת העשתרות ואת אלהי ארם ואת אלהי צידון ואת אלהי מואב ואת אלהי בני עמון ואת אלהי פלשתים ויעזבו את יהוה ולא עבדוהו (Ⅴ)

And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon.
- La colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Israël, et il les vendit entre les mains des Philistins et entre les mains des fils d'Ammon. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμω̨̃ κύριος ἐν Ισραηλ καὶ ἀπέδοτο αὐτοὺς ἐν χειρὶ Φυλιστιιμ καὶ ἐν χειρὶ υἱω̃ν Αμμων (Ⅲ) - Contra quos Dominus iratus, tradidit eos in manus Philisthiim et filiorum Ammon. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃10 ויחר אף יהוה בישראל וימכרם ביד פלשתים וביד בני עמון (Ⅴ)

And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.
- Ils opprimèrent et écrasèrent les enfants d'Israël cette année-là, et pendant dix-huit ans tous les enfants d'Israël qui étaient de l'autre côté du Jourdain dans le pays des Amoréens en Galaad. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔθλιψαν καὶ ἔθλασαν τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν τω̨̃ καιρω̨̃ ἐκείνω̨ δέκα ὀκτὼ ἔτη τοὺς πάντας υἱοὺς Ισραηλ τοὺς ἐν τω̨̃ πέραν του̃ Ιορδάνου ἐν γη̨̃ του̃ Αμορρι του̃ ἐν Γαλααδ (Ⅲ) - Afflictique sunt, et vehementer oppressi per annos decem et octo, omnes qui habitabant trans Jordanem in terra Amorrhæi, qui est in Galaad : (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃10 וירעצו וירצצו את בני ישראל בשנה ההיא שמנה עשרה שנה את כל בני ישראל אשר בעבר הירדן בארץ האמרי אשר בגלעד (Ⅴ)

Moreover the children of Ammon passed over Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sore distressed.
- Les fils d'Ammon passèrent le Jourdain pour combattre aussi contre Juda, contre Benjamin et contre la maison d'Éphraïm. Et Israël fut dans une grande détresse. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διέβησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Αμμων τὸν Ιορδάνην παρατάξασθαι πρὸς Ιουδαν καὶ Βενιαμιν καὶ πρὸς Εφραιμ καὶ ἐθλίβη Ισραηλ σφόδρα (Ⅲ) - in tantum ut filii Ammon, Jordane transmisso, vastarent Judam et Benjamin et Ephraim : afflictusque est Israël nimis. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃10 ויעברו בני עמון את הירדן להלחם גם ביהודה ובבנימין ובבית אפרים ותצר לישראל מאד (Ⅴ)

And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim.
- Les enfants d'Israël crièrent à l'Éternel, en disant: Nous avons péché contre toi, car nous avons abandonné notre Dieu et nous avons servi les Baals. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐβόησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ πρὸς κύριον λέγοντες ἡμάρτομέν σοι ὅτι ἐγκατελίπομεν τὸν θεὸν καὶ ἐδουλεύσαμεν τω̨̃ Βααλιμ (Ⅲ) - Et clamantes ad Dominum, dixerunt : Peccavimus tibi, quia dereliquimus Dominum Deum nostrum, et servivimus Baalim. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃10 ויזעקו בני ישראל אל יהוה לאמר חטאנו לך וכי עזבנו את אלהינו ונעבד את הבעלים פ (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?
- L'Éternel dit aux enfants d'Israël: Ne vous ai-je pas délivrés des Égyptiens, des Amoréens, des fils d'Ammon, des Philistins? (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ μὴ οὐχὶ ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἀπὸ του̃ Αμορραίου καὶ ἀπὸ υἱω̃ν Αμμων καὶ ἀπὸ Φυλιστιιμ (Ⅲ) - Quibus locutus est Dominus : Numquid non Ægyptii et Amorrhæi, filiique Ammon et Philisthiim, (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃10 ויאמר יהוה אל בני ישראל הלא ממצרים ומן האמרי ומן בני עמון ומן פלשתים (Ⅴ)

The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.
- Et lorsque les Sidoniens, Amalek et Maon, vous opprimèrent, et que vous criâtes à moi, ne vous ai-je pas délivrés de leurs mains? (Ⅱ) - καὶ Σιδωνίων καὶ Αμαληκ καὶ Μαδιαμ οἳ ἔθλιψαν ὑμα̃ς καὶ ἐβοήσατε πρός με καὶ ἔσωσα ὑμα̃ς ἐκ χειρὸς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Sidonii quoque et Amalec et Chanaan oppresserunt vos, et clamastis ad me, et erui vos de manu eorum ? (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃10 וצידונים ועמלק ומעון לחצו אתכם ותצעקו אלי ואושיעה אתכם מידם (Ⅴ)

Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.
- Mais vous, vous m'avez abandonné, et vous avez servi d'autres dieux. C'est pourquoi je ne vous délivrerai plus. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὑμει̃ς ἐγκατελίπετέ με καὶ ἐδουλεύσατε θεοι̃ς ἑτέροις διὰ του̃το οὐ προσθήσω του̃ σω̃σαι ὑμα̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et tamen reliquistis me, et coluistis deos alienos : idcirco non addam ut ultra vos liberem : (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃10 ואתם עזבתם אותי ותעבדו אלהים אחרים לכן לא אוסיף להושיע אתכם (Ⅴ)

Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.
- Allez, invoquez les dieux que vous avez choisis; qu'ils vous délivrent au temps de votre détresse! (Ⅱ) - πορεύεσθε καὶ βοήσατε πρὸς τοὺς θεούς οὓς ἐξελέξασθε ἑαυτοι̃ς καὶ αὐτοὶ σωσάτωσαν ὑμα̃ς ἐν καιρω̨̃ θλίψεως ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - ite, et invocate deos quos elegistis : ipsi vos liberent in tempore angustiæ. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃10 לכו וזעקו אל האלהים אשר בחרתם בם המה יושיעו לכם בעת צרתכם (Ⅴ)

And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.
- Les enfants d'Israël dirent à l'Éternel: Nous avons péché; traite-nous comme il te plaira. Seulement, daigne nous délivrer aujourd'hui! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃παν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ πρὸς κύριον ἡμάρτομεν ποίησον σὺ ἡμι̃ν κατὰ πα̃ν τὸ ἀγαθὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς σου πλὴν ἐξελου̃ ἡμα̃ς ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ταύτη̨ (Ⅲ) - Dixeruntque filii Israël ad Dominum : Peccavimus, redde tu nobis quidquid tibi placet : tantum nunc libera nos. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃10 ויאמרו בני ישראל אל יהוה חטאנו עשה אתה לנו ככל הטוב בעיניך אך הצילנו נא היום הזה (Ⅴ)

And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
- Et ils ôtèrent les dieux étrangers du milieu d'eux, et servirent l'Éternel, qui fut touché des maux d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐξέκλιναν τοὺς θεοὺς τοὺς ἀλλοτρίους ἐκ μέσου αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐδούλευσαν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ μόνω̨ καὶ ὠλιγώθη ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτου̃ ἐν κόπω̨ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Quæ dicentes, omnia de finibus suis alienorum deorum idola projecerunt, et servierunt Domino Deo : qui doluit super miseriis eorum. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃10 ויסירו את אלהי הנכר מקרבם ויעבדו את יהוה ותקצר נפשו בעמל ישראל פ (Ⅴ)

Then the children of Ammon were gathered together, and encamped in Gilead. And the children of Israel assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpeh.
- Les fils d'Ammon se rassemblèrent et campèrent en Galaad, et les enfants d'Israël se rassemblèrent et campèrent à Mitspa. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνέβησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Αμμων καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Γαλααδ καὶ συνήχθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν τη̨̃ σκοπια̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Itaque filii Ammon conclamantes in Galaad fixere tentoria, contra quos congregati filii Israël in Maspha castrametati sunt. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃10 ויצעקו בני עמון ויחנו בגלעד ויאספו בני ישראל ויחנו במצפה (Ⅴ)

And the people and princes of Gilead said one to another, What man is he that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
- Le peuple, les chefs de Galaad se dirent l'un à l'autre: Quel est l'homme qui commencera l'attaque contre les fils d'Ammon? Il sera chef de tous les habitants de Galaad. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πον ὁ λαὸς οἱ ἄρχοντες Γαλααδ ἀνὴρ πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτου̃ τίς ὁ ἀνήρ ὅστις ἂν ἄρξηται παρατάξασθαι πρὸς υἱοὺς Αμμων καὶ ἔσται εἰς ἄρχοντα πα̃σιν τοι̃ς κατοικου̃σιν Γαλααδ (Ⅲ) - Dixeruntque principes Galaad singuli ad proximos suos : Qui primus ex nobis contra filios Ammon cœperit dimicare, erit dux populi Galaad. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃10 ויאמרו העם שרי גלעד איש אל רעהו מי האיש אשר יחל להלחם בבני עמון יהיה לראש לכל ישבי גלעד פ (Ⅴ)
