1 ׃11 ועתליה אם אחזיהו *וראתה **ראתה כי מת בנה ותקם ותאבד את כל זרע הממלכה
- Athalie, mère d'Achazia, voyant que son fils était mort, se leva et fit périr toute la race royale. (Ⅱ) - And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal. (Ⅲ) - καὶ Γοθολια ἡ μήτηρ Οχοζιου εἰ̃δεν ὅτι ἀπέθανον οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἀπώλεσεν πα̃ν τὸ σπέρμα τη̃ς βασιλείας (Ⅳ) - Athalia vero mater Ochoziæ, videns mortuum filium suum, surrexit, et interfecit omne semen regium. (Ⅴ)

2 ׃11 ותקח יהושבע בת המלך יורם אחות אחזיהו את יואש בן אחזיה ותגנב אתו מתוך בני המלך *הממותתים **המומתים אתו ואת מינקתו בחדר המטות ויסתרו אתו מפני עתליהו ולא הומת
- Mais Joschéba, fille du roi Joram, soeur d'Achazia, prit Joas, fils d'Achazia, et l'enleva du milieu des fils du roi, quand on les fit mourir: elle le mit avec sa nourrice dans la chambre des lits. Il fut ainsi dérobé aux regards d'Athalie, et ne fut point mis à mort. (Ⅱ) - But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔλαβεν Ιωσαβεε θυγάτηρ του̃ βασιλέως Ιωραμ ἀδελφὴ Οχοζιου τὸν Ιωας υἱὸν ἀδελφου̃ αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἔκλεψεν αὐτὸν ἐκ μέσου τω̃ν υἱω̃ν του̃ βασιλέως τω̃ν θανατουμένων αὐτὸν καὶ τὴν τροφὸν αὐτου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ ταμιείω̨ τω̃ν κλινω̃ν καὶ ἔκρυψεν αὐτὸν ἀπὸ προσώπου Γοθολιας καὶ οὐκ ἐθανατώθη (Ⅳ) - Tollens autem Josaba filia regis Joram, soror Ochoziæ, Joas filium Ochoziæ, furata est eum de medio filiorum regis qui interficiebantur, et nutricem ejus de triclinio : et abscondit eum a facie Athaliæ ut non interficeretur. 3 ׃11 ויהי אתה בית יהוה מתחבא שש שנים ועתליה מלכת על הארץ פ
- Il resta six ans caché avec Joschéba dans la maison de l'Éternel. Et c'était Athalie qui régnait dans le pays. (Ⅱ) - And he was with her hid in the house of the LORD six years. And Athaliah did reign over the land. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἠ̃ν μετ' αὐτη̃ς ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου κρυβόμενος ἓξ ἔτη καὶ Γοθολια βασιλεύουσα ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅳ) - Eratque cum ea sex annis clam in domo Domini : porro Athalia regnavit super terram.\ (Ⅴ)

4 ׃11 ובשנה השביעית שלח יהוידע ויקח את שרי *המאיות **המאות לכרי ולרצים ויבא אתם אליו בית יהוה ויכרת להם ברית וישבע אתם בבית יהוה וירא אתם את בן המלך
- La septième année, Jehojada envoya chercher les chefs de centaines des Kéréthiens et des coureurs, et il les fit venir auprès de lui dans la maison de l'Éternel. Il traita alliance avec eux et les fit jurer dans la maison de l'Éternel, et il leur montra le fils du roi. (Ⅱ) - And the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the rulers over hundreds, with the captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the LORD, and made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of the LORD, and showed them the king's son. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ ἔτει τω̨̃ ἑβδόμω̨ ἀπέστειλεν Ιωδαε ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ ἔλαβεν τοὺς ἑκατοντάρχους τὸν Χορρι καὶ τὸν Ρασιμ καὶ ἀπήγαγεν αὐτοὺς πρὸς αὐτὸν εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου καὶ διέθετο αὐτοι̃ς διαθήκην κυρίου καὶ ὥρκισεν αὐτοὺς ἐνώπιον κυρίου καὶ ἔδειξεν αὐτοι̃ς Ιωδαε τὸν υἱὸν του̃ βασιλέως (Ⅳ) - Anno autem septimo misit Jojada, et assumens centuriones et milites, introduxit ad se in templum Domini, pepigitque cum eis fœdus : et adjurans eos in domo Domini, ostendit eis filium regis : (Ⅴ)

5 ׃11 ויצום לאמר זה הדבר אשר תעשון השלשית מכם באי השבת ושמרי משמרת בית המלך
- Puis il leur donna ses ordres, en disant: Voici ce que vous ferez. Parmi ceux de vous qui entrent en service le jour du sabbat, un tiers doit monter la garde à la maison du roi, (Ⅱ) - And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king's house; (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐνετείλατο αὐτοι̃ς λέγων οὑ̃τος ὁ λόγος ὃν ποιήσετε τὸ τρίτον ἐξ ὑμω̃ν εἰσελθέτω τὸ σάββατον καὶ φυλάξετε φυλακὴν οἴκου του̃ βασιλέως ἐν τω̨̃ πυλω̃νι (Ⅳ) - et præcepit illis, dicens : Iste est sermo, quem facere debetis : (Ⅴ)

6 ׃11 והשלשית בשער סור והשלשית בשער אחר הרצים ושמרתם את משמרת הבית מסח
- un tiers à la porte de Sur, et un tiers à la porte derrière les coureurs: vous veillerez à la garde de la maison, de manière à en empêcher l'entrée. (Ⅱ) - And a third part shall be at the gate of Sur; and a third part at the gate behind the guard: so shall ye keep the watch of the house, that it be not broken down. (Ⅲ) - καὶ τὸ τρίτον ἐν τη̨̃ πύλη̨ τω̃ν ὁδω̃ν καὶ τὸ τρίτον τη̃ς πύλης ὀπίσω τω̃ν παρατρεχόντων καὶ φυλάξετε τὴν φυλακὴν του̃ οἴκου (Ⅳ) - tertia pars vestrum introëat sabbato, et observet excubias domus regis. Tertia autem pars sit ad portam Sur, et tertia pars sit ad portam quæ est post habitaculum scutariorum : et custodietis excubias domus Messa. (Ⅴ)

7 ׃11 ושתי הידות בכם כל יצאי השבת ושמרו את משמרת בית יהוה אל המלך
- Vos deux autres divisions, tous ceux qui sortent de service le jour du sabbat feront la garde de la maison de l'Éternel auprès du roi: (Ⅱ) - And two parts of all you that go forth on the sabbath, even they shall keep the watch of the house of the LORD about the king. (Ⅲ) - καὶ δύο χει̃ρες ἐν ὑμι̃ν πα̃ς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος τὸ σάββατον καὶ φυλάξουσιν τὴν φυλακὴν οἴκου κυρίου πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα (Ⅳ) - Duæ vero partes e vobis, omnes egredientes sabbato, custodiant excubias domus Domini circa regem. (Ⅴ)

8 ׃11 והקפתם על המלך סביב איש וכליו בידו והבא אל השדרות יומת והיו את המלך בצאתו ובבאו
- vous entourerez le roi de toutes parts, chacun les armes à la main, et l'on donnera la mort à quiconque s'avancera dans les rangs; vous serez près du roi quand il sortira et quand il entrera. (Ⅱ) - And ye shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be slain: and be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in. (Ⅲ) - καὶ κυκλώσατε ἐπὶ τὸν βασιλέα κύκλω̨ ἀνὴρ καὶ τὸ σκευ̃ος αὐτου̃ ἐν χειρὶ αὐτου̃ καὶ ὁ εἰσπορευόμενος εἰς τὰ σαδηρωθ ἀποθανει̃ται καὶ ἐγένετο μετὰ του̃ βασιλέως ἐν τω̨̃ ἐκπορεύεσθαι αὐτὸν καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ εἰσπορεύεσθαι αὐτόν (Ⅳ) - Et vallabitis eum, habentes arma in manibus vestris : si quis autem ingressus fuerit septum templi, interficiatur : eritisque cum rege introëunte et egrediente. (Ⅴ)

9 ׃11 ויעשו שרי *המאיות **המאות ככל אשר צוה יהוידע הכהן ויקחו איש את אנשיו באי השבת עם יצאי השבת ויבאו אל יהוידע הכהן
- Les chefs de centaines exécutèrent tous les ordres qu'avait donnés le sacrificateur Jehojada. Ils prirent chacun leurs gens, ceux qui entraient en service et ceux qui sortaient de service le jour du sabbat, et ils se rendirent vers le sacrificateur Jehojada. (Ⅱ) - And the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐποίησαν οἱ ἑκατόνταρχοι πάντα ὅσα ἐνετείλατο Ιωδαε ὁ συνετός καὶ ἔλαβεν ἀνὴρ τοὺς ἄνδρας αὐτου̃ τοὺς εἰσπορευομένους τὸ σάββατον μετὰ τω̃ν ἐκπορευομένων τὸ σάββατον καὶ εἰση̃λθεν πρὸς Ιωδαε τὸν ἱερέα (Ⅳ) - Et fecerunt centuriones juxta omnia quæ præceperat eis Jojada sacerdos : et assumentes singuli viros suos qui ingrediebantur sabbatum, cum his qui egrediebantur sabbato, venerunt ad Jojadam sacerdotem. (Ⅴ)

10 ׃11 ויתן הכהן לשרי *המאיות **המאות את החנית ואת השלטים אשר למלך דוד אשר בבית יהוה
- Le sacrificateur remit aux chefs de centaines les lances et les boucliers qui provenaient du roi David, et qui se trouvaient dans la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And to the captains over hundreds did the priest give king David's spears and shields, that were in the temple of the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔδωκεν ὁ ἱερεὺς τοι̃ς ἑκατοντάρχαις τοὺς σειρομάστας καὶ τοὺς τρισσοὺς του̃ βασιλέως Δαυιδ τοὺς ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου (Ⅳ) - Qui dedit eis hastas et arma regis David, quæ erant in domo Domini. (Ⅴ)

11 ׃11 ויעמדו הרצים איש וכליו בידו מכתף הבית הימנית עד כתף הבית השמאלית למזבח ולבית על המלך סביב
- Les coureurs, chacun les armes à la main, entourèrent le roi, en se plaçant depuis le côté droit jusqu'au côté gauche de la maison, près de l'autel et près de la maison. (Ⅱ) - And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, along by the altar and the temple. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔστησαν οἱ παρατρέχοντες ἀνὴρ καὶ τὸ σκευ̃ος αὐτου̃ ἐν τη̨̃ χειρὶ αὐτου̃ ἀπὸ τη̃ς ὠμίας του̃ οἴκου τη̃ς δεξια̃ς ἕως τη̃ς ὠμίας του̃ οἴκου τη̃ς εὐωνύμου του̃ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ του̃ οἴκου ἐπὶ τὸν βασιλέα κύκλω̨ (Ⅳ) - Et steterunt singuli habentes arma in manu sua, a parte templi dextera usque ad partem sinistram altaris et ædis, circum regem. (Ⅴ)

12 ׃11 ויוצא את בן המלך ויתן עליו את הנזר ואת העדות וימלכו אתו וימשחהו ויכו כף ויאמרו יחי המלך ס
- Le sacrificateur fit avancer le fils du roi, et il mit sur lui le diadème et le témoignage. Ils l'établirent roi et l'oignirent, et frappant des mains, ils dirent: Vive le roi! (Ⅱ) - And he brought forth the king's son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν τὸν υἱὸν του̃ βασιλέως καὶ ἔδωκεν ἐπ' αὐτὸν τὸ νεζερ καὶ τὸ μαρτύριον καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἔχρισεν αὐτόν καὶ ἐκρότησαν τη̨̃ χειρὶ καὶ εἰ̃παν ζήτω ὁ βασιλεύς (Ⅳ) - Produxitque filium regis, et posuit super eum diadema et testimonium : feceruntque eum regem, et unxerunt : et plaudentes manu, dixerunt : Vivat rex. (Ⅴ)

13 ׃11 ותשמע עתליה את קול הרצין העם ותבא אל העם בית יהוה
- Athalie entendit le bruit des coureurs et du peuple, et elle vint vers le peuple à la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And when Athaliah heard the noise of the guard and of the people, she came to the people into the temple of the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἤκουσεν Γοθολια τὴν φωνὴν τω̃ν τρεχόντων του̃ λαου̃ καὶ εἰση̃λθεν πρὸς τὸν λαὸν εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου (Ⅳ) - Audivit autem Athalia vocem populi currentis : et ingressa ad turbas in templum Domini, (Ⅴ)

14 ׃11 ותרא והנה המלך עמד על העמוד כמשפט והשרים והחצצרות אל המלך וכל עם הארץ שמח ותקע בחצצרות ותקרע עתליה את בגדיה ותקרא קשר קשר ס
- Elle regarda. Et voici, le roi se tenait sur l'estrade, selon l'usage; les chefs et les trompettes étaient près du roi: tout le peuple du pays était dans la joie, et l'on sonnait des trompettes. Athalie déchira ses vêtements, et cria: Conspiration! conspiration! (Ⅱ) - And when she looked, behold, the king stood by a pillar, as the manner was, and the princes and the trumpeters by the king, and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets: and Athaliah rent her clothes, and cried, Treason, Treason. (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰ̃δεν καὶ ἰδοὺ ὁ βασιλεὺς εἱστήκει ἐπὶ του̃ στύλου κατὰ τὸ κρίμα καὶ οἱ ὠ̨δοὶ καὶ αἱ σάλπιγγες πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα καὶ πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς τη̃ς γη̃ς χαίρων καὶ σαλπίζων ἐν σάλπιγξιν καὶ διέρρηξεν Γοθολια τὰ ἱμάτια ἑαυτη̃ς καὶ ἐβόησεν σύνδεσμος σύνδεσμος (Ⅳ) - vidit regem stantem super tribunal juxta morem, et cantores, et tubas prope eum, omnemque populum terræ lætantem, et canentem tubis : et scidit vestimenta sua, clamavitque : Conjuratio, conjuratio. (Ⅴ)

15 ׃11 ויצו יהוידע הכהן את שרי *המיאות **המאות פקדי החיל ויאמר אליהם הוציאו אתה אל מבית לשדרת והבא אחריה המת בחרב כי אמר הכהן אל תומת בית יהוה
- Alors le sacrificateur Jehojada donna cet ordre aux chefs de centaines, qui étaient à la tête de l'armée: Faites-la sortir en dehors des rangs, et tuez par l'épée quiconque la suivra. Car le sacrificateur avait dit: Qu'elle ne soit pas mise à mort dans la maison de l'Éternel! (Ⅱ) - But Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds, the officers of the host, and said unto them, Have her forth without the ranges: and him that followeth her kill with the sword. For the priest had said, Let her not be slain in the house of the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐνετείλατο Ιωδαε ὁ ἱερεὺς τοι̃ς ἑκατοντάρχαις τοι̃ς ἐπισκόποις τη̃ς δυνάμεως καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτούς ἐξαγάγετε αὐτὴν ἔσωθεν τω̃ν σαδηρωθ καὶ ὁ εἰσπορευόμενος ὀπίσω αὐτη̃ς θανάτω̨ θανατωθήσεται ῥομφαία̨ ὅτι εἰ̃πεν ὁ ἱερεύς καὶ μὴ ἀποθάνη̨ ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου (Ⅳ) - Præcepit autem Jojada centurionibus qui erant super exercitum, et ait eis : Educite eam extra septa templi, et quicumque eam secutus fuerit, feriatur gladio. Dixerat enim sacerdos : Non occidatur in templo Domini. (Ⅴ)

16 ׃11 וישמו לה ידים ותבוא דרך מבוא הסוסים בית המלך ותומת שם ס
- On lui fit place, et elle se rendit à la maison du roi par le chemin de l'entrée des chevaux: c'est là qu'elle fut tuée. (Ⅱ) - And they laid hands on her; and she went by the way by the which the horses came into the king's house: and there was she slain. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐπέθηκαν αὐτη̨̃ χει̃ρας καὶ εἰση̃λθεν ὁδὸν εἰσόδου τω̃ν ἵππων οἴκου του̃ βασιλέως καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐκει̃ (Ⅳ) - Imposueruntque ei manus, et impegerunt eam per viam introitus equorum, juxta palatium, et interfecta est ibi. (Ⅴ)

17 ׃11 ויכרת יהוידע את הברית בין יהוה ובין המלך ובין העם להיות לעם ליהוה ובין המלך ובין העם
- Jehojada traita entre l'Éternel, le roi et le peuple, l'alliance par laquelle ils devaient être le peuple de l'Éternel; il établit aussi l'alliance entre le roi et le peuple. (Ⅱ) - And Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD's people; between the king also and the people. (Ⅲ) - καὶ διέθετο Ιωδαε διαθήκην ἀνὰ μέσον κυρίου καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ βασιλέως καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ λαου̃ του̃ εἰ̃ναι εἰς λαὸν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ βασιλέως καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ λαου̃ (Ⅳ) - Pepigit ergo Jojada fœdus inter Dominum, et inter regem, et inter populum, ut esset populus Domini : et inter regem et populum. (Ⅴ)

18 ׃11 ויבאו כל עם הארץ בית הבעל ויתצהו את *מזבחתו **מזבחתיו ואת צלמיו שברו היטב ואת מתן כהן הבעל הרגו לפני המזבחות וישם הכהן פקדות על בית יהוה
- Tout le peuple du pays entra dans la maison de Baal, et ils la démolirent; ils brisèrent entièrement ses autels et ses images, et ils tuèrent devant les autels Matthan, prêtre de Baal. Le sacrificateur Jehojada mit des surveillants dans la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the LORD. (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰση̃λθεν πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς τη̃ς γη̃ς εἰς οἰ̃κον του̃ Βααλ καὶ κατέσπασαν αὐτὸν καὶ τὰ θυσιαστήρια αὐτου̃ καὶ τὰς εἰκόνας αὐτου̃ συνέτριψαν ἀγαθω̃ς καὶ τὸν Ματθαν τὸν ἱερέα του̃ Βααλ ἀπέκτειναν κατὰ πρόσωπον τω̃ν θυσιαστηρίων καὶ ἔθηκεν ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐπισκόπους εἰς τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου (Ⅳ) - Ingressusque est omnis populus terræ templum Baal, et destruxerunt aras ejus, et imagines contriverunt valide : Mathan quoque sacerdotem Baal occiderunt coram altari. Et posuit sacerdos custodias in domo Domini. (Ⅴ)

19 ׃11 ויקח את שרי המאות ואת הכרי ואת הרצים ואת כל עם הארץ וירידו את המלך מבית יהוה ויבואו דרך שער[1] הרצים בית המלך וישב על כסא המלכים
- Il prit les chefs de centaines, les Kéréthiens et les coureurs, et tout le peuple du pays; et ils firent descendre le roi de la maison de l'Éternel, et ils entrèrent dans la maison du roi par le chemin de la porte des coureurs. Et Joas s'assit sur le trône des rois. (Ⅱ) - And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of the LORD, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king's house. And he sat on the throne of the kings. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔλαβεν τοὺς ἑκατοντάρχους καὶ τὸν Χορρι καὶ τὸν Ρασιμ καὶ πάντα τὸν λαὸν τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ κατήγαγον τὸν βασιλέα ἐξ οἴκου κυρίου καὶ εἰση̃λθεν ὁδὸν πύλης τω̃ν παρατρεχόντων οἴκου του̃ βασιλέως καὶ ἐκάθισαν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ του̃ θρόνου τω̃ν βασιλέων (Ⅳ) - Tulitque centuriones, et Cerethi et Phelethi legiones, et omnem populum terræ, deduxeruntque regem de domo Domini : et venerunt per viam portæ scutariorum in palatium, et sedit super thronum regum. (Ⅴ)

20 ׃11 וישמח כל עם הארץ והעיר שקטה ואת עתליהו המיתו בחרב בית *מלך **המלך ס
- Tout le peuple du pays se réjouissait, et la ville était tranquille. On avait fait mourir Athalie par l'épée dans la maison du roi. (Ⅱ) - And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was in quiet: and they slew Athaliah with the sword beside the king's house. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐχάρη πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ ἡ πόλις ἡσύχασεν καὶ τὴν Γοθολιαν ἐθανάτωσαν ἐν ῥομφαία̨ ἐν οἴκω̨ του̃ βασιλέως (Ⅳ) - Lætatusque est omnis populus terræ, et civitas conquievit : Athalia autem occisa est gladio in domo regis. (Ⅴ)
