Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
- Liban, ouvre tes portes, Et que le feu dévore tes cèdres! (Ⅱ) - διάνοιξον ὁ Λίβανος τὰς θύρας σου καὶ καταφαγέτω πυ̃ρ τὰς κέδρους σου (Ⅲ) - Aperi, Libane, portas tuas,/ et comedat ignis cedros tuas./ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃11 פתח לבנון דלתיך ותאכל אש בארזיך (Ⅴ)

Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
- Gémis, cyprès, car le cèdre est tombé, Ceux qui s'élevaient sont détruits! Gémissez, chênes de Basan, Car la forêt inaccessible est renversée! (Ⅱ) - ὀλολυξάτω πίτυς διότι πέπτωκεν κέδρος ὅτι μεγάλως μεγιστα̃νες ἐταλαιπώρησαν ὀλολύξατε δρύες τη̃ς Βασανίτιδος ὅτι κατεσπάσθη ὁ δρυμὸς ὁ σύμφυτος (Ⅲ) - Ulula, abies, quia cecidit cedrus,/ quoniam magnifici vastati sunt :/ ululate, quercus Basan,/ quoniam succisus est saltus munitus./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃11 הילל ברוש כי נפל ארז אשר אדרים שדדו הילילו אלוני בשן כי ירד יער *הבצור **הבציר (Ⅴ)

There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
- Les bergers poussent des cris lamentables, Parce que leur magnificence est détruite; Les lionceaux rugissent, Parce que l'orgueil du Jourdain est abattu. (Ⅱ) - φωνὴ θρηνούντων ποιμένων ὅτι τεταλαιπώρηκεν ἡ μεγαλωσύνη αὐτω̃ν φωνὴ ὠρυομένων λεόντων ὅτι τεταλαιπώρηκεν τὸ φρύαγμα του̃ Ιορδάνου (Ⅲ) - Vox ululatus pastorum,/ quia vastata est magnificentia eorum :/ vox rugitus leonum,/ quoniam vastata est superbia Jordanis.]\ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃11 קול יללת הרעים כי שדדה אדרתם קול שאגת כפירים כי שדד גאון הירדן ס (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel, mon Dieu: Pais les brebis destinées à la boucherie! (Ⅱ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ποιμαίνετε τὰ πρόβατα τη̃ς σφαγη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus Deus meus : Pasce pecora occisionis, (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃11 כה אמר יהוה אלהי רעה את צאן ההרגה (Ⅴ)

Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
- Ceux qui les achètent les égorgent impunément; Celui qui les vend dit: Béni soit l'Éternel, car je m'enrichis! Et leurs pasteurs ne les épargnent pas. (Ⅱ) - ἃ οἱ κτησάμενοι κατέσφαζον καὶ οὐ μετεμέλοντο καὶ οἱ πωλου̃ντες αὐτὰ ἔλεγον εὐλογητὸς κύριος καὶ πεπλουτήκαμεν καὶ οἱ ποιμένες αὐτω̃ν οὐκ ἔπασχον οὐδὲν ἐπ' αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - quæ qui possederant occidebant, et non dolebant, et vendebant ea, dicentes : Benedictus Dominus ! divites facti sumus : et pastores eorum non parcebant eis. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃11 אשר קניהן יהרגן ולא יאשמו ומכריהן יאמר ברוך יהוה ואעשר ורעיהם לא יחמול עליהן (Ⅴ)

For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
- Car je n'ai plus de pitié pour les habitants du pays, Dit l'Éternel; Et voici, je livre les hommes Aux mains les uns des autres et aux mains de leur roi; Ils ravageront le pays, Et je ne délivrerai pas de leurs mains. (Ⅱ) - διὰ του̃το οὐ φείσομαι οὐκέτι ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικου̃ντας τὴν γη̃ν λέγει κύριος καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ παραδίδωμι τοὺς ἀνθρώπους ἕκαστον εἰς χει̃ρας του̃ πλησίον αὐτου̃ καὶ εἰς χει̃ρας βασιλέως αὐτου̃ καὶ κατακόψουσιν τὴν γη̃ν καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐξέλωμαι ἐκ χειρὸς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Et ego non parcam ultra super habitantes terram, dicit Dominus : ecce ego tradam homines, unumquemque in manu proximi sui, et in manu regis sui : et concident terram, et non eruam de manu eorum. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃11 כי לא אחמול עוד על ישבי הארץ נאם יהוה והנה אנכי ממציא את האדם איש ביד רעהו וביד מלכו וכתתו את הארץ ולא אציל מידם (Ⅴ)

And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
- Alors je me mis à paître les brebis destinées à la boucherie, assurément les plus misérables du troupeau. Je prix deux houlettes: j'appelai l'une Grâce, et j'appelai l'autre Union. Et je fis paître les brebis. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ποιμανω̃ τὰ πρόβατα τη̃ς σφαγη̃ς εἰς τὴν Χαναανι̃τιν καὶ λήμψομαι ἐμαυτω̨̃ δύο ῥάβδους τὴν μίαν ἐκάλεσα Κάλλος καὶ τὴν ἑτέραν ἐκάλεσα Σχοίνισμα καὶ ποιμανω̃ τὰ πρόβατα (Ⅲ) - Et pascam pecus occisionis propter hoc, o pauperes gregis ! et assumpsi mihi duas virgas : unam vocavi Decorem, et alteram vocavi Funiculum : et pavi gregem. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃11 וארעה את צאן ההרגה לכן עניי הצאן ואקח לי שני מקלות לאחד קראתי נעם ולאחד קראתי חבלים וארעה את הצאן (Ⅴ)

Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
- J'exterminerai les trois pasteurs en un mois; mon âme était impatiente à leur sujet, et leur âme avait aussi pour moi du dégoût. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐξαρω̃ τοὺς τρει̃ς ποιμένας ἐν μηνὶ ἑνί καὶ βαρυνθήσεται ἡ ψυχή μου ἐπ' αὐτούς καὶ γὰρ αἱ ψυχαὶ αὐτω̃ν ἐπωρύοντο ἐπ' ἐμέ (Ⅲ) - Et succidi tres pastores in mense uno, et contracta est anima mea in eis, siquidem et anima eorum variavit in me. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃11 ואכחד את שלשת הרעים בירח אחד ותקצר נפשי בהם וגם נפשם בחלה בי (Ⅴ)

Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
- Et je dis: Je ne vous paîtrai plus! Que celle qui va mourir meure, que celle qui va périr périsse, et que celles qui restent se dévorent les unes les autres! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πα οὐ ποιμανω̃ ὑμα̃ς τὸ ἀποθνη̨̃σκον ἀποθνη̨σκέτω καὶ τὸ ἐκλει̃πον ἐκλειπέτω καὶ τὰ κατάλοιπα κατεσθιέτωσαν ἕκαστος τὰς σάρκας του̃ πλησίον αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et dixi : Non pascam vos : quod moritur, moriatur, et quod succiditur, succidatur : et reliqui devorent unusquisque carnem proximi sui. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃11 ואמר לא ארעה אתכם המתה תמות והנכחדת תכחד והנשארות תאכלנה אשה את בשר רעותה (Ⅴ)

And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
- Je pris ma houlette Grâce, et je la brisai, pour rompre mon alliance que j'avais traitée avec tous les peuples. (Ⅱ) - καὶ λήμψομαι τὴν ῥάβδον μου τὴν καλὴν καὶ ἀπορρίψω αὐτὴν του̃ διασκεδάσαι τὴν διαθήκην μου ἣν διεθέμην πρὸς πάντας τοὺς λαούς (Ⅲ) - Et tuli virgam meam quæ vocabatur Decus, et abscidi eam, ut irritum facerem fœdus meum quod percussi cum omnibus populis. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃11 ואקח את מקלי את נעם ואגדע אתו להפיר את בריתי אשר כרתי את כל העמים (Ⅴ)

And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.
- Elle fut rompue ce jour-là; et les malheureuses brebis, qui prirent garde à moi, reconnurent ainsi que c'était la parole de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διασκεδασθήσεται ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ καὶ γνώσονται οἱ Χαναναι̃οι τὰ πρόβατα τὰ φυλασσόμενα διότι λόγος κυρίου ἐστίν (Ⅲ) - Et in irritum deductum est in die illa : et cognoverunt sic pauperes gregis, qui custodiunt mihi, quia verbum Domini est. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃11 ותפר ביום ההוא וידעו כן עניי הצאן השמרים אתי כי דבר יהוה הוא (Ⅴ)

And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
- Je leur dis: Si vous le trouvez bon, donnez-moi mon salaire; sinon, ne le donnez pas. Et ils pesèrent pour mon salaire trente sicles d'argent. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρω̃ πρὸς αὐτούς εἰ καλὸν ἐνώπιον ὑμω̃ν ἐστιν δότε στήσαντες τὸν μισθόν μου ἢ ἀπείπασθε καὶ ἔστησαν τὸν μισθόν μου τριάκοντα ἀργυρου̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et dixi ad eos : Si bonum est in oculis vestris, afferte mercedem meam : et si non, quiescite. Et appenderunt mercedem meam triginta argenteos. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃11 ואמר אליהם אם טוב בעיניכם הבו שכרי ואם לא חדלו וישקלו את שכרי שלשים כסף (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
- L'Éternel me dit: Jette-le au potier, ce prix magnifique auquel ils m'ont estimé! Et je pris les trente sicles d'argent, et je les jetai dans la maison de l'Éternel, pour le potier. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρός με κάθες αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸ χωνευτήριον καὶ σκέψαι εἰ δόκιμόν ἐστιν ὃν τρόπον ἐδοκιμάσθην ὑπὲρ αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἔλαβον τοὺς τριάκοντα ἀργυρου̃ς καὶ ἐνέβαλον αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου εἰς τὸ χωνευτήριον (Ⅲ) - Et dixit Dominus ad me : Projice illud ad statuarium, decorum pretium quo appretiatus sum ab eis. Et tuli triginta argenteos, et projeci illos in domum Domini, ad statuarium. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃11 ויאמר יהוה אלי השליכהו אל היוצר אדר היקר אשר יקרתי מעליהם ואקחה שלשים הכסף ואשליך אתו בית יהוה אל היוצר (Ⅴ)

Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
- Puis je brisai ma seconde houlette Union, pour rompre la fraternité entre Juda et Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπέρριψα τὴν ῥάβδον τὴν δευτέραν τὸ Σχοίνισμα του̃ διασκεδάσαι τὴν κατάσχεσιν ἀνὰ μέσον Ιουδα καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Et præcidi virgam meam secundam, quæ appellabatur Funiculus, ut dissolverem germanitatem inter Judam et Israël. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃11 ואגדע את מקלי השני את החבלים להפר את האחוה בין יהודה ובין ישראל ס (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
- L'Éternel me dit: Prends encore l'équipage d'un pasteur insensé! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρός με ἔτι λαβὲ σεαυτω̨̃ σκεύη ποιμενικὰ ποιμένος ἀπείρου (Ⅲ) - Et dixit Dominus ad me : Adhuc sume tibi vasa pastoris stulti. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃11 ויאמר יהוה אלי עוד קח לך כלי רעה אולי (Ⅴ)

For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
- Car voici, je susciterai dans le pays un pasteur qui n'aura pas souci des brebis qui périssent; il n'ira pas à la recherche des plus jeunes, il ne guérira pas les blessées, il ne soignera pas les saines; mais il dévorera la chair des plus grasses, et il déchirera jusqu'aux cornes de leurs pieds. (Ⅱ) - διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐξεγείρω ποιμένα ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν τὸ ἐκλιμπάνον οὐ μὴ ἐπισκέψηται καὶ τὸ διεσκορπισμένον οὐ μὴ ζητήση̨ καὶ τὸ συντετριμμένον οὐ μὴ ἰάσηται καὶ τὸ ὁλόκληρον οὐ μὴ κατευθύνη̨ καὶ τὰ κρέα τω̃ν ἐκλεκτω̃ν καταφάγεται καὶ τοὺς ἀστραγάλους αὐτω̃ν ἐκστρέψει (Ⅲ) - Quia ecce ego suscitabo pastorem in terra, qui derelicta non visitabit, dispersum non quæret, et contritum non sanabit, et id quod stat non enutriet, et carnes pinguium comedet, et ungulas eorum dissolvet. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃11 כי הנה אנכי מקים רעה בארץ הנכחדות לא יפקד הנער לא יבקש והנשברת לא ירפא הנצבה לא יכלכל ובשר הבריאה יאכל ופרסיהן יפרק ס (Ⅴ)

Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
- Malheur au pasteur de néant, qui abandonne ses brebis! Que l'épée fonde sur son bras et sur son oeil droit! Que son bras se dessèche, Et que son oeil droite s'éteigne! (Ⅱ) - ὠ̃ οἱ ποιμαίνοντες τὰ μάταια καὶ οἱ καταλελοιπότες τὰ πρόβατα μάχαιρα ἐπὶ τοὺς βραχίονας αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν ὀφθαλμὸν τὸν δεξιὸν αὐτου̃ ὁ βραχίων αὐτου̃ ξηραινόμενος ξηρανθήσεται καὶ ὁ ὀφθαλμὸς ὁ δεξιὸς αὐτου̃ ἐκτυφλούμενος ἐκτυφλωθήσεται (Ⅲ) - O pastor, et idolum derelinquens gregem : gladius super brachium ejus, et super oculum dextrum ejus : brachium ejus ariditate siccabitur, et oculus dexter ejus tenebrescens obscurabitur. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃11 הוי רעי האליל עזבי הצאן חרב על זרועו ועל עין ימינו זרעו יבוש תיבש ועין ימינו כהה תכהה ס (Ⅴ)
