Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.

Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
- Je sais que l'Éternel est grand, Et que notre Seigneur est au-dessus de tous les dieux. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ἐγὼ ἔγνων ὅτι μέγας κύριος καὶ ὁ κύριος ἡμω̃ν παρὰ πάντας τοὺς θεούς (Ⅲ) - Quia ego cognovi quod magnus est Dominus,/ et Deus noster præ omnibus diis./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃135 כי אני ידעתי כי גדול יהוה ואדנינו מכל אלהים (Ⅴ)

Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
- Tout ce que l'Éternel veut, il le fait, Dans les cieux et sur la terre, Dans les mers et dans tous les abîmes. (Ⅱ) - πάντα ὅσα ἠθέλησεν ὁ κύριος ἐποίησεν ἐν τω̨̃ οὐρανω̨̃ καὶ ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ ἐν ται̃ς θαλάσσαις καὶ ἐν πάσαις ται̃ς ἀβύσσοις (Ⅲ) - Omnia quæcumque voluit Dominus fecit,/ in cælo, in terra, in mari et in omnibus abyssis./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃135 כל אשר חפץ יהוה עשה בשמים ובארץ בימים וכל תהומות (Ⅴ)

He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
- Il fait monter les nuages des extrémités de la terre, Il produit les éclairs et la pluie, Il tire le vent de ses trésors. (Ⅱ) - ἀνάγων νεφέλας ἐξ ἐσχάτου τη̃ς γη̃ς ἀστραπὰς εἰς ὑετὸν ἐποίησεν ὁ ἐξάγων ἀνέμους ἐκ θησαυρω̃ν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Educens nubes ab extremo terræ,/ fulgura in pluviam fecit ;/ qui producit ventos de thesauris suis./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃135 מעלה נשאים מקצה הארץ ברקים למטר עשה מוצא רוח מאוצרותיו (Ⅴ)

Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
- Il envoya des signes et des miracles au milieu de toi, Égypte! Contre Pharaon et contre tous ses serviteurs. - Il frappa des nations nombreuses, Et tua des rois puissants, (Ⅱ) - ὃς ἐπάταξεν ἔθνη πολλὰ καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν βασιλει̃ς κραταιούς (Ⅲ) - Qui percussit gentes multas,/ et occidit reges fortes :/ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃135 שהכה גוים רבים והרג מלכים עצומים (Ⅴ)

Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
- Sihon, roi des Amoréens, Og, roi de Basan, Et tous les rois de Canaan; (Ⅱ) - τὸν Σηων βασιλέα τω̃ν Αμορραίων καὶ τὸν Ωγ βασιλέα τη̃ς Βασαν καὶ πάσας τὰς βασιλείας Χανααν (Ⅲ) - Sehon, regem Amorrhæorum, et Og, regem Basan,/ et omnia regna Chanaan :/ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃135 לסיחון מלך האמרי ולעוג מלך הבשן ולכל ממלכות כנען (Ⅴ)

And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
- Éternel! ton nom subsiste à toujours, Éternel! ta mémoire dure de génération en génération. For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
- Elles ont une bouche et ne parlent point, Elles ont des yeux et ne voient point, (Ⅱ) - στόμα ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐ λαλήσουσιν ὀφθαλμοὺς ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ὄψονται (Ⅲ) - Os habent, et non loquentur ;/ oculos habent, et non videbunt./ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃135 פה להם ולא ידברו עינים להם ולא יראו (Ⅴ)

They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
- Elles ont des oreilles et n'entendent point, Elles n'ont point de souffle dans leur bouche. (Ⅱ) - ὠ̃τα ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ἐνωτισθήσονται ῥι̃νας ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐκ ὀσφρανθήσονται χει̃ρας ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐ ψηλαφήσουσιν πόδας ἔχουσιν καὶ οὐ περιπατήσουσιν οὐ φωνήσουσιν ἐν τω̨̃ λάρυγγι αὐτω̃ν οὐδὲ γάρ ἐστιν πνευ̃μα ἐν τω̨̃ στόματι αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Aures habent, et non audient ;/ neque enim est spiritus in ore ipsorum./ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃135 אזנים להם ולא יאזינו אף אין יש רוח בפיהם (Ⅴ)

They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
