1 ׃143 מזמור לדוד יהוה שמע תפלתי האזינה אל תחנוני באמנתך ענני בצדקתך
- Psaume de David. Éternel, écoute ma prière, prête l'oreille à mes supplications! Exauce-moi dans ta fidélité, dans ta justice! (Ⅱ) - Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. (Ⅲ) - ψαλμὸς τω̨̃ Δαυιδ ὅτε αὐτὸν ὁ υἱὸς καταδιώκει κύριε εἰσάκουσον τη̃ς προσευχη̃ς μου ἐνώτισαι τὴν δέησίν μου ἐν τη̨̃ ἀληθεία̨ σου ἐπάκουσόν μου ἐν τη̨̃ δικαιοσύνη̨ σου (Ⅳ) - Psalmus David, quando persequebatur eum Absalom filius ejus. [Domine, exaudi orationem meam ;/ auribus percipe obsecrationem meam in veritate tua ;/ exaudi me in tua justitia./ (Ⅴ)

2 ׃143 ואל תבוא במשפט את עבדך כי לא יצדק לפניך כל חי
- N'entre pas en jugement avec ton serviteur! Car aucun vivant n'est juste devant toi. (Ⅱ) - And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified. (Ⅲ) - καὶ μὴ εἰσέλθη̨ς εἰς κρίσιν μετὰ του̃ δούλου σου ὅτι οὐ δικαιωθήσεται ἐνώπιόν σου πα̃ς ζω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Et non intres in judicium cum servo tuo,/ quia non justificabitur in conspectu tuo omnis vivens./ (Ⅴ)

3 ׃143 כי רדף אויב נפשי דכא לארץ חיתי הושיבני במחשכים כמתי עולם
- L'ennemi poursuit mon âme, Il foule à terre ma vie; Il me fait habiter dans les ténèbres, Comme ceux qui sont morts depuis longtemps. (Ⅱ) - For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead. (Ⅲ) - ὅτι κατεδίωξεν ὁ ἐχθρὸς τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐταπείνωσεν εἰς γη̃ν τὴν ζωήν μου ἐκάθισέν με ἐν σκοτεινοι̃ς ὡς νεκροὺς αἰω̃νος (Ⅳ) - Quia persecutus est inimicus animam meam ;/ humiliavit in terra vitam meam ;/ collocavit me in obscuris, sicut mortuos sæculi./ (Ⅴ)

4 ׃143 ותתעטף עלי רוחי בתוכי ישתומם לבי
- Mon esprit est abattu au dedans de moi, Mon coeur est troublé dans mon sein. (Ⅱ) - Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἠκηδίασεν ἐπ' ἐμὲ τὸ πνευ̃μά μου ἐν ἐμοὶ ἐταράχθη ἡ καρδία μου (Ⅳ) - Et anxiatus est super me spiritus meus ;/ in me turbatum est cor meum./ (Ⅴ)

5 ׃143 זכרתי ימים מקדם הגיתי בכל פעלך במעשה ידיך אשוחח
- Je me souviens des jours d'autrefois, Je médite sur toutes tes oeuvres, Je réfléchis sur l'ouvrage de tes mains. (Ⅱ) - I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands. (Ⅲ) - ἐμνήσθην ἡμερω̃ν ἀρχαίων καὶ ἐμελέτησα ἐν πα̃σι τοι̃ς ἔργοις σου ἐν ποιήμασιν τω̃ν χειρω̃ν σου ἐμελέτων (Ⅳ) - Memor fui dierum antiquorum ;/ meditatus sum in omnibus operibus tuis :/ in factis manuum tuarum meditabar./ (Ⅴ)

6 ׃143 פרשתי ידי אליך נפשי כארץ עיפה לך סלה
- J'étends mes mains vers toi; Mon âme soupire après toi, comme une terre desséchée. Pause. (Ⅱ) - I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. (Ⅲ) - διεπέτασα τὰς χει̃ράς μου πρὸς σέ ἡ ψυχή μου ὡς γη̃ ἄνυδρός σοι διάψαλμα (Ⅳ) - Expandi manus meas ad te ;/ anima mea sicut terra sine aqua tibi./ (Ⅴ)

7 ׃143 מהר ענני יהוה כלתה רוחי אל תסתר פניך ממני ונמשלתי עם ירדי בור
- Hâte-toi de m'exaucer, ô Éternel! Mon esprit se consume. Ne me cache pas ta face! Je serais semblable à ceux qui descendent dans la fosse. (Ⅱ) - Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. (Ⅲ) - ταχὺ εἰσάκουσόν μου κύριε ἐξέλιπεν τὸ πνευ̃μά μου μὴ ἀποστρέψη̨ς τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἀπ' ἐμου̃ καὶ ὁμοιωθήσομαι τοι̃ς καταβαίνουσιν εἰς λάκκον (Ⅳ) - Velociter exaudi me, Domine ;/ defecit spiritus meus./ Non avertas faciem tuam a me,/ et similis ero descendentibus in lacum./ (Ⅴ)

8 ׃143 השמיעני בבקר חסדך כי בך בטחתי הודיעני דרך זו אלך כי אליך נשאתי נפשי
- Fais-moi dès le matin entendre ta bonté! Car je me confie en toi. Fais-moi connaître le chemin où je dois marcher! Car j'élève à toi mon âme. (Ⅱ) - Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. (Ⅲ) - ἀκουστὸν ποίησόν μοι τὸ πρωὶ τὸ ἔλεός σου ὅτι ἐπὶ σοὶ ἤλπισα γνώρισόν μοι κύριε ὁδὸν ἐν ἡ̨̃ πορεύσομαι ὅτι πρὸς σὲ ἠ̃ρα τὴν ψυχήν μου (Ⅳ) - Auditam fac mihi mane misericordiam tuam,/ quia in te speravi./ Notam fac mihi viam in qua ambulem,/ quia ad te levavi animam meam./ (Ⅴ)

9 ׃143 הצילני מאיבי יהוה אליך כסתי
- Délivre-moi de mes ennemis, ô Éternel! Auprès de toi je cherche un refuge. (Ⅱ) - Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me. (Ⅲ) - ἐξελου̃ με ἐκ τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν μου κύριε ὅτι πρὸς σὲ κατέφυγον (Ⅳ) - Eripe me de inimicis meis, Domine :/ ad te confugi./ (Ⅴ)

10 ׃143 למדני לעשות רצונך כי אתה אלוהי רוחך טובה תנחני בארץ מישור
- Enseigne-moi à faire ta volonté! Car tu es mon Dieu. Que ton bon esprit me conduise sur la voie droite! (Ⅱ) - Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. (Ⅲ) - δίδαξόν με του̃ ποιει̃ν τὸ θέλημά σου ὅτι σὺ εἰ̃ ὁ θεός μου τὸ πνευ̃μά σου τὸ ἀγαθὸν ὁδηγήσει με ἐν γη̨̃ εὐθεία̨ (Ⅳ) - Doce me facere voluntatem tuam,/ quia Deus meus es tu./ Spiritus tuus bonus deducet me in terram rectam./ (Ⅴ)

11 ׃143 למען שמך יהוה תחיני בצדקתך תוציא מצרה נפשי
- A cause de ton nom, Éternel, rends-moi la vie! Dans ta justice, retire mon âme de la détresse! (Ⅱ) - Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble. (Ⅲ) - ἕνεκα του̃ ὀνόματός σου κύριε ζήσεις με ἐν τη̨̃ δικαιοσύνη̨ σου ἐξάξεις ἐκ θλίψεως τὴν ψυχήν μου (Ⅳ) - Propter nomen tuum, Domine, vivificabis me :/ in æquitate tua, educes de tribulatione animam meam,/ (Ⅴ)

12 ׃143 ובחסדך תצמית איבי והאבדת כל צררי נפשי כי אני עבדך
- Dans ta bonté, anéantis mes ennemis, Et fais périr tous les oppresseurs de mon âme! Car je suis ton serviteur. (Ⅱ) - And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ ἐλέει σου ἐξολεθρεύσεις τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου καὶ ἀπολει̃ς πάντας τοὺς θλίβοντας τὴν ψυχήν μου ὅτι δου̃λός σού εἰμι ἐγώ (Ⅳ) - et in misericordia tua disperdes inimicos meos,/ et perdes omnes qui tribulant animam meam,/ quoniam ego servus tuus sum.] (Ⅴ)
