And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
- Il y avait un homme de la montagne d'Éphraïm, nommé Mica. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ἀνὴρ ἀπὸ ὄρους Εφραιμ καὶ ὄνομα αὐτω̨̃ Μιχαιας (Ⅲ) - Fuit eo tempore vir quidam de monte Ephraim nomine Michas, (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃17 ויהי איש מהר אפרים ושמו מיכיהו (Ⅴ)

And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son.
- Il dit à sa mère: Les mille et cent sicles d'argent qu'on t'a pris, et pour lesquels tu as fait des imprécations même à mes oreilles, voici, cet argent est entre mes mains, c'est moi qui l'avais pris. Et sa mère dit: Béni soit mon fils par l'Éternel! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ οἱ χίλιοι καὶ ἑκατόν οὓς ἔλαβες ἀργυρίου σεαυτη̨̃ καί με ἠράσω καὶ προσει̃πας ἐν ὠσί μου ἰδοὺ τὸ ἀργύριον παρ' ἐμοί ἐγὼ ἔλαβον αὐτό καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἡ μήτηρ αὐτου̃ εὐλογητὸς ὁ υἱός μου τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ (Ⅲ) - qui dixit matri suæ : Mille et centum argenteos, quos separaveras tibi, et super quibus me audiente juraveras, ecce ego habeo, et apud me sunt. Cui illa respondit : Benedictus filius meus Domino. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃17 ויאמר לאמו אלף ומאה הכסף אשר לקח לך *ואתי **ואת אלית וגם אמרת באזני הנה הכסף אתי אני לקחתיו ותאמר אמו ברוך בני ליהוה (Ⅴ)

And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.
- Il rendit à sa mère les mille et cent sicles d'argent; et sa mère dit: Je consacre de ma main cet argent à l'Éternel, afin d'en faire pour mon fils une image taillée et une image en fonte; et c'est ainsi que je te le rendrai. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπέδωκεν τοὺς χιλίους καὶ ἑκατὸν του̃ ἀργυρίου τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἡ μήτηρ αὐτου̃ ἁγιάζουσα ἡγίακα τὸ ἀργύριον τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐκ χειρός μου τω̨̃ υἱω̨̃ μου του̃ ποιη̃σαι γλυπτὸν καὶ χωνευτόν καὶ νυ̃ν ἀποδώσω σοι αὐτό (Ⅲ) - Reddidit ergo eos matri suæ, quæ dixerat ei : Consecravi et vovi hoc argentum Domino, ut de manu mea suscipiat filius meus, et faciat sculptile atque conflatile : et nunc trado illud tibi. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃17 וישב את אלף ומאה הכסף לאמו ותאמר אמו הקדש הקדשתי את הכסף ליהוה מידי לבני לעשות פסל ומסכה ועתה אשיבנו לך (Ⅴ)

Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.
- Il rendit à sa mère l'argent. Sa mère prit deux cents sicles d'argent. Et elle donna l'argent au fondeur, qui en fit une image taillée et une image en fonte. On les plaça dans la maison de Mica. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπέδωκεν τὸ ἀργύριον τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἔλαβεν ἡ μήτηρ αὐτου̃ διακοσίους ἀργυρίου καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὸ ἀργυροκόπω̨ καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτὸ γλυπτὸν καὶ χωνευτόν καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν οἴκω̨ Μιχαια (Ⅲ) - Reddidit igitur eos matri suæ : quæ tulit ducentos argenteos, et dedit eos argentario, ut faceret ex eis sculptile atque conflatile, quod fuit in domo Michæ. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃17 וישב את הכסף לאמו ותקח אמו מאתים כסף ותתנהו לצורף ויעשהו פסל ומסכה ויהי בבית מיכיהו (Ⅴ)

And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
- Ce Mica avait une maison de Dieu; il fit un éphod et des théraphim, et il consacra l'un de ses fils, qui lui servit de prêtre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὁ οἰ̃κος Μιχαια αὐτω̨̃ οἰ̃κος θεου̃ καὶ ἐποίησεν εφωδ καὶ θαραφιν καὶ ἐπλήρωσεν τὴν χει̃ρα ἀπὸ ἑνὸς υἱω̃ν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτω̨̃ εἰς ἱερέα (Ⅲ) - Qui ædiculam quoque in ea deo separavit, et fecit ephod, et theraphim, id est, vestem sacerdotalem, et idola : implevitque unius filiorum suorum manum, et factus est ei sacerdos. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃17 והאיש מיכה לו בית אלהים ויעש אפוד ותרפים וימלא את יד אחד מבניו ויהי לו לכהן (Ⅴ)

In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
- En ce temps-là, il n'y avait point de roi en Israël. Chacun faisait ce qui lui semblait bon. (Ⅱ) - ἐν δὲ ται̃ς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις οὐκ ἠ̃ν βασιλεὺς ἐν Ισραηλ ἀνὴρ τὸ εὐθὲς ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς αὐτου̃ ἐποίει (Ⅲ) - In diebus illis non erat rex in Israël, sed unusquisque quod sibi rectum videbatur, hoc faciebat.\ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃17 בימים ההם אין מלך בישראל איש הישר בעיניו יעשה פ (Ⅴ)

And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.
- Il y avait un jeune homme de Bethléhem de Juda, de la famille de Juda; il était Lévite, et il séjournait là. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγενήθη νεανίας ἐκ Βηθλεεμ δήμου Ιουδα καὶ αὐτὸς Λευίτης καὶ οὑ̃τος παρώ̨κει ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ) - Fuit quoque alter adolescens de Bethlehem Juda, ex cognatione ejus : eratque ipse Levites, et habitabat ibi. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃17 ויהי נער מבית לחם יהודה ממשפחת יהודה והוא לוי והוא גר שם (Ⅴ)

And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
- Cet homme partit de la ville de Bethléhem de Juda, pour chercher une demeure qui lui convînt. En poursuivant son chemin, il arriva dans la montagne d'Éphraïm jusqu'à la maison de Mica. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπορεύθη ὁ ἀνὴρ ἀπὸ Βηθλεεμ τη̃ς πόλεως Ιουδα παροικη̃σαι ἐν ὡ̨̃ ἐὰν εὕρη̨ τόπω̨ καὶ ἠ̃λθεν ἕως ὄρους Εφραιμ καὶ ἕως οἴκου Μιχαια του̃ ποιη̃σαι ὁδὸν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Egressusque de civitate Bethlehem, peregrinari voluit ubicumque sibi commodum reperisset. Cumque venisset in montem Ephraim, iter faciens, et declinasset parumper in domum Michæ, (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃17 וילך האיש מהעיר מבית לחם יהודה לגור באשר ימצא ויבא הר אפרים עד בית מיכה לעשות דרכו (Ⅴ)

And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.
- Mica lui dit: D'où viens-tu? Il lui répondit: Je suis Lévite, de Bethléhem de Juda, et je voyage pour chercher une demeure qui me convienne. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Μιχαιας πόθεν ἔρχη̨ καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτόν Λευίτης εἰμὶ ἀπὸ Βαιθλεεμ Ιουδα καὶ ἐγὼ πορεύομαι παροικη̃σαι ἐν ὡ̨̃ ἐὰν εὕρω τόπω̨ (Ⅲ) - interrogatus est ab eo unde venisset. Qui respondit : Levita sum de Bethlehem Juda, et vado ut habitem ubi potuero, et utile mihi esse perspexero. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃17 ויאמר לו מיכה מאין תבוא ויאמר אליו לוי אנכי מבית לחם יהודה ואנכי הלך לגור באשר אמצא (Ⅴ)

And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.
- Mica lui dit: Reste avec moi; tu me serviras de père et de prêtre, et je te donnerai dix sicles d'argent par année, les vêtements dont tu auras besoin, et ton entretien. Et le Lévite entra. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Μιχαιας κάθου μετ' ἐμου̃ καὶ γίνου μοι εἰς πατέρα καὶ εἰς ἱερέα καὶ ἐγὼ δώσω σοι δέκα ἀργυρίου εἰς ἡμέραν καὶ στολὴν ἱματίων καὶ τὰ πρὸς ζωήν σου καὶ ἐπορεύθη ὁ Λευίτης (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Michas : Mane apud me, et esto mihi parens ac sacerdos : daboque tibi per annos singulos decem argenteos, ac vestem duplicem, et quæ ad victum sunt necessaria. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃17 ויאמר לו מיכה שבה עמדי והיה לי לאב ולכהן ואנכי אתן לך עשרת כסף לימים וערך בגדים ומחיתך וילך הלוי (Ⅴ)

And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.
- Il se décida ainsi à rester avec cet homme, qui regarda le jeune homme comme l'un de ses fils. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἤρξατο παροικει̃ν παρὰ τω̨̃ ἀνδρί καὶ ἐγενήθη ὁ νεανίας παρ' αὐτω̨̃ ὡς εἱ̃ς ἀπὸ υἱω̃ν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Acquievit, et mansit apud hominem, fuitque illi quasi unus de filiis. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃17 ויואל הלוי לשבת את האיש ויהי הנער לו כאחד מבניו (Ⅴ)

And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
- Mica consacra le Lévite, et ce jeune homme lui servit de prêtre et demeura dans sa maison. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπλήρωσεν Μιχαιας τὴν χει̃ρα του̃ Λευίτου καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτω̨̃ εἰς ἱερέα καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν οἴκω̨ Μιχαια (Ⅲ) - Implevitque Michas manum ejus, et habuit puerum sacerdotem apud se : (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃17 וימלא מיכה את יד הלוי ויהי לו הנער לכהן ויהי בבית מיכה (Ⅴ)

Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.
- Et Mica dit: Maintenant, je sais que l'Éternel me fera du bien, puisque j'ai ce Lévite pour prêtre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Μιχαιας νυ̃ν ἔγνων ὅτι ἀγαθυνει̃ κύριος ἐμοί ὅτι ἐγένετό μοι ὁ Λευίτης εἰς ἱερέα (Ⅲ) - Nunc scio, dicens, quod benefaciet mihi Deus habenti Levitici generis sacerdotem. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃17 ויאמר מיכה עתה ידעתי כי ייטיב יהוה לי כי היה לי הלוי לכהן (Ⅴ)
