Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
- Sonnez de la trompette en Sion! Faites-la retentir sur ma montagne sainte! Que tous les habitants du pays tremblent! Car le jour de l'Éternel vient, car il est proche, (Ⅱ) - σαλπίσατε σάλπιγγι ἐν Σιων κηρύξατε ἐν ὄρει ἁγίω̨ μου καὶ συγχυθήτωσαν πάντες οἱ κατοικου̃ντες τὴν γη̃ν διότι πάρεστιν ἡμέρα κυρίου ὅτι ἐγγύς (Ⅲ) - Canite tuba in Sion,/ ululate in monte sancto meo,/ conturbentur omnes habitatores terræ :/ quia venit dies Domini, quia prope est./ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃2 תקעו שופר בציון והריעו בהר קדשי ירגזו כל ישבי הארץ כי בא יום יהוה כי קרוב (Ⅴ)

A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
- Jour de ténèbres et d'obscurité, Jour de nuées et de brouillards, Il vient comme l'aurore se répand sur les montagnes. Voici un peuple nombreux et puissant, Tel qu'il n'y en a jamais eu, Et qu'il n'y en aura jamais dans la suite des âges. (Ⅱ) - ἡμέρα σκότους καὶ γνόφου ἡμέρα νεφέλης καὶ ὁμίχλης ὡς ὄρθρος χυθήσεται ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη λαὸς πολὺς καὶ ἰσχυρός ὅμοιος αὐτω̨̃ οὐ γέγονεν ἀπὸ του̃ αἰω̃νος καὶ μετ' αὐτὸν οὐ προστεθήσεται ἕως ἐτω̃ν εἰς γενεὰς γενεω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Dies tenebrarum et caliginis,/ dies nubis et turbinis ;/ quasi mane expansum super montes/ populus multus et fortis :/ similis ei non fuit a principio,/ et post eum non erit/ usque in annos generationis et generationis./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃2 יום חשך ואפלה יום ענן וערפל כשחר פרש על ההרים עם רב ועצום כמהו לא נהיה מן העולם ואחריו לא יוסף עד שני דור ודור (Ⅴ)

A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
- Devant lui est un feu dévorant, Et derrière lui une flamme brûlante; Le pays était auparavant comme un jardin d'Éden, Et depuis, c'est un désert affreux: Rien ne lui échappe. (Ⅱ) - τὰ ἔμπροσθεν αὐτου̃ πυ̃ρ ἀναλίσκον καὶ τὰ ὀπίσω αὐτου̃ ἀναπτομένη φλόξ ὡς παράδεισος τρυφη̃ς ἡ γη̃ πρὸ προσώπου αὐτου̃ καὶ τὰ ὄπισθεν αὐτου̃ πεδίον ἀφανισμου̃ καὶ ἀνασω̨ζόμενος οὐκ ἔσται αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Ante faciem ejus ignis vorans,/ et post eum exurens flamma./ Quasi hortus voluptatis terra coram eo,/ et post eum solitudo deserti,/ neque est qui effugiat eum./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃2 לפניו אכלה אש ואחריו תלהט להבה כגן עדן הארץ לפניו ואחריו מדבר שממה וגם פליטה לא היתה לו (Ⅴ)

The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
- A les voir, on dirait des chevaux, Et ils courent comme des cavaliers. (Ⅱ) - ὡς ὅρασις ἵππων ἡ ὄψις αὐτω̃ν καὶ ὡς ἱππει̃ς οὕτως καταδιώξονται (Ⅲ) - Quasi aspectus equorum, aspectus eorum ;/ et quasi equites, sic current./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃2 כמראה סוסים מראהו וכפרשים כן ירוצון (Ⅴ)

Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
- A les entendre, on dirait un bruit de chars Sur le sommet des montagnes où ils bondissent, On dirait un pétillement de la flamme du feu, Quand elle consume le chaume. C'est comme une armée puissante Qui se prépare au combat. (Ⅱ) - ὡς φωνὴ ἁρμάτων ἐπὶ τὰς κορυφὰς τω̃ν ὀρέων ἐξαλου̃νται καὶ ὡς φωνὴ φλογὸς πυρὸς κατεσθιούσης καλάμην καὶ ὡς λαὸς πολὺς καὶ ἰσχυρὸς παρατασσόμενος εἰς πόλεμον (Ⅲ) - Sicut sonitus quadrigarum super capita montium exilient,/ sicut sonitus flammæ ignis devorantis stipulam,/ velut populus fortis præparatus ad prælium./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃2 כקול מרכבות על ראשי ההרים ירקדון כקול להב אש אכלה קש כעם עצום ערוך מלחמה (Ⅴ)

Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
- Devant eux les peuples tremblent, Tous les visages pâlissent. (Ⅱ) - ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτου̃ συντριβήσονται λαοί πα̃ν πρόσωπον ὡς πρόσκαυμα χύτρας (Ⅲ) - A facie ejus cruciabuntur populi ;/ omnes vultus redigentur in ollam./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃2 מפניו יחילו עמים כל פנים קבצו פארור (Ⅴ)

They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
- Ils s'élancent comme des guerriers, Ils escaladent les murs comme des gens de guerre; Chacun va son chemin, Sans s'écarter de sa route. (Ⅱ) - ὡς μαχηταὶ δραμου̃νται καὶ ὡς ἄνδρες πολεμισταὶ ἀναβήσονται ἐπὶ τὰ τείχη καὶ ἕκαστος ἐν τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ αὐτου̃ πορεύσεται καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐκκλίνωσιν τὰς τρίβους αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Sicut fortes current ;/ quasi viri bellatores ascendent murum :/ viri in viis suis gradientur,/ et non declinabunt a semitis suis./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃2 כגבורים ירצון כאנשי מלחמה יעלו חומה ואיש בדרכיו ילכון ולא יעבטון ארחותם (Ⅴ)

Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
- Ils ne pressent point les uns les autres, Chacun garde son rang; Ils se précipitent au travers des traits Sans arrêter leur marche. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἕκαστος ἀπὸ του̃ ἀδελφου̃ αὐτου̃ οὐκ ἀφέξεται καταβαρυνόμενοι ἐν τοι̃ς ὅπλοις αὐτω̃ν πορεύσονται καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς βέλεσιν αὐτω̃ν πεσου̃νται καὶ οὐ μὴ συντελεσθω̃σιν (Ⅲ) - Unusquisque fratrem suum non coarctabit,/ singuli in calle suo ambulabunt ;/ sed et per fenestras cadent, et non demolientur./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃2 ואיש אחיו לא ידחקון גבר במסלתו ילכון ובעד השלח יפלו לא יבצעו (Ⅴ)

They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
- Ils se répandent dans la ville, Courent sur les murailles, Montent sur les maisons, Entrent par les fenêtres comme un voleur. (Ⅱ) - τη̃ς πόλεως ἐπιλήμψονται καὶ ἐπὶ τω̃ν τειχέων δραμου̃νται καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς οἰκίας ἀναβήσονται καὶ διὰ θυρίδων εἰσελεύσονται ὡς κλέπται (Ⅲ) - Urbem ingredientur, in muro current,/ domos conscendent, per fenestras intrabunt quasi fur./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃2 בעיר ישקו בחומה ירצון בבתים יעלו בעד החלונים יבאו כגנב (Ⅴ)

The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
- Devant eux la terre tremble, Les cieux sont ébranlés, Le soleil et la lune s'obscurcissent, Et les étoiles retirent leur éclat. (Ⅱ) - πρὸ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν συγχυθήσεται ἡ γη̃ καὶ σεισθήσεται ὁ οὐρανός ὁ ἥλιος καὶ ἡ σελήνη συσκοτάσουσιν καὶ τὰ ἄστρα δύσουσιν τὸ φέγγος αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - A facie ejus contremuit terra,/ moti sunt cæli,/ sol et luna obtenebrati sunt,/ et stellæ retraxerunt splendorem suum./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃2 לפניו רגזה ארץ רעשו שמים שמש וירח קדרו וכוכבים אספו נגהם (Ⅴ)

And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
- L'Éternel fait entendre sa voix devant son armée; Car son camp est immense, Et l'exécuteur de sa parole est puissant; Car le jour de l'Éternel est grand, il est terrible: Qui pourra le soutenir? (Ⅱ) - καὶ κύριος δώσει φωνὴν αὐτου̃ πρὸ προσώπου δυνάμεως αὐτου̃ ὅτι πολλή ἐστιν σφόδρα ἡ παρεμβολὴ αὐτου̃ ὅτι ἰσχυρὰ ἔργα λόγων αὐτου̃ διότι μεγάλη ἡ ἡμέρα του̃ κυρίου μεγάλη καὶ ἐπιφανὴς σφόδρα καὶ τίς ἔσται ἱκανὸς αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Et Dominus dedit vocem suam ante faciem exercitus sui,/ quia multa sunt nimis castra ejus,/ quia fortia et facientia verbum ejus :/ magnus enim dies Domini, et terribilis valde,/ et quis sustinebit eum ?/ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃2 ויהוה נתן קולו לפני חילו כי רב מאד מחנהו כי עצום עשה דברו כי גדול יום יהוה ונורא מאד ומי יכילנו (Ⅴ)

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
- Maintenant encore, dit l'Éternel, Revenez à moi de tout votre coeur, Avec des jeûnes, avec des pleurs et des lamentations! (Ⅱ) - καὶ νυ̃ν λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμω̃ν ἐπιστράφητε πρός με ἐξ ὅλης τη̃ς καρδίας ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἐν νηστεία̨ καὶ ἐν κλαυθμω̨̃ καὶ ἐν κοπετω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Nunc ergo, dicit Dominus,/ convertimini ad me in toto corde vestro,/ in jejunio, et in fletu, et in planctu./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃2 וגם עתה נאם יהוה שבו עדי בכל לבבכם ובצום ובבכי[U] ובמספד (Ⅴ)

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
- Déchirez vos coeurs et non vos vêtements, Et revenez à l'Éternel, votre Dieu; Car il est compatissant et miséricordieux, Lent à la colère et riche en bonté, Et il se repent des maux qu'il envoie. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διαρρήξατε τὰς καρδίας ὑμω̃ν καὶ μὴ τὰ ἱμάτια ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἐπιστράφητε πρὸς κύριον τὸν θεὸν ὑμω̃ν ὅτι ἐλεήμων καὶ οἰκτίρμων ἐστίν μακρόθυμος καὶ πολυέλεος καὶ μετανοω̃ν ἐπὶ ται̃ς κακίαις (Ⅲ) - Et scindite corda vestra, et non vestimenta vestra ;/ et convertimini ad Dominum Deum vestrum,/ quia benignus et misericors est,/ patiens et multæ misericordiæ,/ et præstabilis super malitia./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃2 וקרעו לבבכם ואל בגדיכם ושובו אל יהוה אלהיכם כי חנון ורחום הוא ארך אפים ורב חסד ונחם על הרעה (Ⅴ)

Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
- Qui sait s'il ne reviendra pas et ne se repentira pas, Et s'il ne laissera pas après lui la bénédiction, Des offrandes et des libations pour l'Éternel, votre Dieu? (Ⅱ) - τίς οἰ̃δεν εἰ ἐπιστρέψει καὶ μετανοήσει καὶ ὑπολείψεται ὀπίσω αὐτου̃ εὐλογίαν θυσίαν καὶ σπονδὴν κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ ἡμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Quis scit si convertatur, et ignoscat,/ et relinquat post se benedictionem, sacrificium et libamen Domino Deo vestro ?/ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃2 מי יודע ישוב ונחם והשאיר אחריו ברכה מנחה ונסך ליהוה אלהיכם פ (Ⅴ)

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
- Sonnez de la trompette en Sion! Publiez un jeûne, une convocation solennelle! (Ⅱ) - σαλπίσατε σάλπιγγι ἐν Σιων ἁγιάσατε νηστείαν κηρύξατε θεραπείαν (Ⅲ) - Canite tuba in Sion,/ sanctificate jejunium, vocate cœtum :/ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃2 תקעו שופר בציון קדשו צום קראו עצרה (Ⅴ)

Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
- Assemblez le peuple, formez une sainte réunion! Assemblez les vieillards, Assemblez les enfants, Même les nourrissons à la mamelle! Que l'époux sorte de sa demeure, Et l'épouse de sa chambre! (Ⅱ) - συναγάγετε λαόν ἁγιάσατε ἐκκλησίαν ἐκλέξασθε πρεσβυτέρους συναγάγετε νήπια θηλάζοντα μαστούς ἐξελθάτω νυμφίος ἐκ του̃ κοιτω̃νος αὐτου̃ καὶ νύμφη ἐκ του̃ παστου̃ αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - congregate populum, sanctificate ecclesiam,/ coadunate senes, congregate parvulos, et sugentes ubera ;/ egrediatur sponsus de cubili suo,/ et sponsa de thalamo suo./ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃2 אספו עם קדשו קהל קבצו זקנים אספו עוללים וינקי שדים יצא חתן מחדרו וכלה מחפתה (Ⅴ)

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
- Qu'entre le portique et l'autel Pleurent les sacrificateurs, Serviteurs de l'Éternel, Et qu'ils disent: Éternel, épargne ton peuple! Ne livre pas ton héritage à l'opprobre, Aux railleries des nations! Pourquoi dirait-on parmi les peuples: Où est leur Dieu? (Ⅱ) - ἀνὰ μέσον τη̃ς κρηπι̃δος του̃ θυσιαστηρίου κλαύσονται οἱ ἱερει̃ς οἱ λειτουργου̃ντες κυρίω̨ καὶ ἐρου̃σιν φει̃σαι κύριε του̃ λαου̃ σου καὶ μὴ δω̨̃ς τὴν κληρονομίαν σου εἰς ὄνειδος του̃ κατάρξαι αὐτω̃ν ἔθνη ὅπως μὴ εἴπωσιν ἐν τοι̃ς ἔθνεσιν που̃ ἐστιν ὁ θεὸς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Inter vestibulum et altare plorabunt sacerdotes, ministri Domini,/ et dicent : Parce, Domine, parce populo tuo ;/ et ne des hæreditatem tuam in opprobrium,/ ut dominentur eis nationes./ Quare dicunt in populis : Ubi est Deus eorum ?]\ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃2 בין האולם ולמזבח יבכו הכהנים משרתי יהוה ויאמרו חוסה יהוה על עמך ואל תתן נחלתך לחרפה למשל בם גוים למה יאמרו בעמים איה אלהיהם (Ⅴ)

Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
- L'Éternel est ému de jalousie pour son pays, Et il épargne son peuple. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐζήλωσεν κύριος τὴν γη̃ν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐφείσατο του̃ λαου̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Zelatus est Dominus terram suam,/ et pepercit populo suo./ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃2 ויקנא יהוה לארצו ויחמל על עמו (Ⅴ)

Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
- L'Éternel répond, il dit à son peuple: Voici, je vous enverrai du blé, Du moût et de l'huile, Et vous en serez rassasiés; Et je ne vous livrerai plus à l'opprobre parmi les nations. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπεκρίθη κύριος καὶ εἰ̃πεν τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ αὐτου̃ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐξαποστέλλω ὑμι̃ν τὸν σι̃τον καὶ τὸν οἰ̃νον καὶ τὸ ἔλαιον καὶ ἐμπλησθήσεσθε αὐτω̃ν καὶ οὐ δώσω ὑμα̃ς οὐκέτι εἰς ὀνειδισμὸν ἐν τοι̃ς ἔθνεσι (Ⅲ) - Et respondit Dominus, et dixit populo suo :/ Ecce ego mittam vobis frumentum, et vinum, et oleum,/ et replebimini eis ;/ et non dabo vos ultra opprobrium in gentibus./ (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃2 ויען יהוה ויאמר לעמו הנני שלח לכם את הדגן והתירוש והיצהר ושבעתם אתו ולא אתן אתכם עוד חרפה בגוים (Ⅴ)

But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
- J'éloignerai de vous l'ennemi du nord, Je le chasserai vers une terre aride et déserte, Son avant-garde dans la mer orientale, Son arrière-garde dans la mer occidentale; Et son infection se répandra, Sa puanteur s'élèvera dans les airs, Parce qu'il a fait de grandes choses. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὸν ἀπὸ βορρα̃ ἐκδιώξω ἀφ' ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἐξώσω αὐτὸν εἰς γη̃ν ἄνυδρον καὶ ἀφανιω̃ τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτου̃ εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν τὴν πρώτην καὶ τὰ ὀπίσω αὐτου̃ εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν τὴν ἐσχάτην καὶ ἀναβήσεται ἡ σαπρία αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀναβήσεται ὁ βρόμος αὐτου̃ ὅτι ἐμεγάλυνεν τὰ ἔργα αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et eum qui ab aquilone est procul faciam a vobis,/ et expellam eum in terram inviam et desertam :/ faciem ejus contra mare orientale,/ et extremum ejus ad mare novissimum :/ et ascendet fœtor ejus,/ et ascendet putredo ejus,/ quia superbe egit./ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃2 ואת הצפוני ארחיק מעליכם והדחתיו אל ארץ ציה ושממה את פניו אל הים הקדמני וספו אל הים האחרון ועלה באשו ותעל צחנתו כי הגדיל לעשות (Ⅴ)

Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
- Terre, ne crains pas, Sois dans l'allégresse et réjouis-toi, Car l'Éternel fait de grandes choses! (Ⅱ) - θάρσει γη̃ χαι̃ρε καὶ εὐφραίνου ὅτι ἐμεγάλυνεν κύριος του̃ ποιη̃σαι (Ⅲ) - Noli timere, terra :/ exsulta, et lætare,/ quoniam magnificavit Dominus ut faceret./ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃2 אל תיראי אדמה גילי ושמחי כי הגדיל יהוה לעשות (Ⅴ)

Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
- Bêtes des champs, ne craignez pas, Car les plaines du désert reverdiront, Car les arbres porteront leurs fruits, Le figuier et la vigne donneront leurs richesses. (Ⅱ) - θαρσει̃τε κτήνη του̃ πεδίου ὅτι βεβλάστηκεν πεδία τη̃ς ἐρήμου ὅτι ξύλον ἤνεγκεν τὸν καρπὸν αὐτου̃ ἄμπελος καὶ συκη̃ ἔδωκαν τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Nolite timere, animalia regionis,/ quia germinaverunt speciosa deserti ;/ quia lignum attulit fructum suum,/ ficus et vinea dederunt virtutem suam./ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃2 אל תיראו בהמות שדי כי דשאו נאות מדבר כי עץ נשא פריו תאנה וגפן נתנו חילם (Ⅴ)

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
- Et vous, enfants de Sion, soyez dans l'allégresse et réjouissez-vous En l'Éternel, votre Dieu, Car il vous donnera la pluie en son temps, Il vous enverra la pluie de la première et de l'arrière-saison, Comme autrefois. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὰ τέκνα Σιων χαίρετε καὶ εὐφραίνεσθε ἐπὶ τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ θεω̨̃ ὑμω̃ν διότι ἔδωκεν ὑμι̃ν τὰ βρώματα εἰς δικαιοσύνην καὶ βρέξει ὑμι̃ν ὑετὸν πρόιμον καὶ ὄψιμον καθὼς ἔμπροσθεν (Ⅲ) - Et, filii Sion, exsultate,/ et lætamini in Domino Deo vestro,/ quia dedit vobis doctorem justitiæ,/ et descendere faciet ad vos imbrem matutinum et serotinum,/ sicut in principio./ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃2 ובני ציון גילו ושמחו ביהוה אלהיכם כי נתן לכם את המורה לצדקה ויורד לכם גשם מורה ומלקוש בראשון (Ⅴ)

And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
- Les aires se rempliront de blé, Et les cuves regorgeront de moût et d'huile. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πλησθήσονται αἱ ἅλωνες σίτου καὶ ὑπερεκχυθήσονται αἱ ληνοὶ οἴνου καὶ ἐλαίου (Ⅲ) - Et implebuntur areæ frumento,/ et redundabunt torcularia vino et oleo./ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃2 ומלאו הגרנות בר והשיקו היקבים תירוש ויצהר (Ⅴ)

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
- Je vous remplacerai les années Qu'ont dévorées la sauterelle, Le jélek, le hasil et le gazam, Ma grande armée que j'avais envoyée contre vous. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνταποδώσω ὑμι̃ν ἀντὶ τω̃ν ἐτω̃ν ὡ̃ν κατέφαγεν ἡ ἀκρὶς καὶ ὁ βρου̃χος καὶ ἡ ἐρυσίβη καὶ ἡ κάμπη ἡ δύναμίς μου ἡ μεγάλη ἣν ἐξαπέστειλα εἰς ὑμα̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et reddam vobis annos, quos comedit locusta,/ bruchus, et rubigo, et eruca :/ fortitudo mea magna quam misi in vos./ (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃2 ושלמתי לכם את השנים אשר אכל הארבה הילק והחסיל והגזם חילי הגדול אשר שלחתי בכם (Ⅴ)

And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
- Vous mangerez et vous vous rassasierez, Et vous célébrerez le nom de l'Éternel, votre Dieu, Qui aura fait pour vous des prodiges; Et mon peuple ne sera plus jamais dans la confusion. (Ⅱ) - καὶ φάγεσθε ἐσθίοντες καὶ ἐμπλησθήσεσθε καὶ αἰνέσετε τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ ὑμω̃ν ἃ ἐποίησεν μεθ' ὑμω̃ν εἰς θαυμάσια καὶ οὐ μὴ καταισχυνθη̨̃ ὁ λαός μου εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να (Ⅲ) - Et comedetis vescentes, et saturabimini ;/ et laudabitis nomen Domini Dei vestri,/ qui fecit mirabilia vobiscum ;/ et non confundetur populus meus in sempiternum./ (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃2 ואכלתם אכול ושבוע והללתם את שם יהוה אלהיכם אשר עשה עמכם להפליא ולא יבשו עמי לעולם (Ⅴ)

And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
- Et vous saurez que je suis au milieu d'Israël, Que je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu, et qu'il n'y en a point d'autre, Et mon peuple ne sera plus jamais dans la confusion. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε ὅτι ἐν μέσω̨ του̃ Ισραηλ ἐγώ εἰμι καὶ ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμω̃ν καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι πλὴν ἐμου̃ καὶ οὐ μὴ καταισχυνθω̃σιν οὐκέτι πα̃ς ὁ λαός μου εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να (Ⅲ) - Et scietis quia in medio Israël ego sum,/ et ego Dominus Deus vester, et non est amplius ;/ et non confundetur populus meus in æternum.]\ (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃2 וידעתם כי בקרב ישראל אני ואני יהוה אלהיכם ואין עוד ולא יבשו עמי לעולם ס (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
- Après cela, je répandrai mon esprit sur toute chair; Vos fils et vos filles prophétiseront, Vos vieillards auront des songes, Et vos jeunes gens des visions. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται μετὰ ταυ̃τα καὶ ἐκχεω̃ ἀπὸ του̃ πνεύματός μου ἐπὶ πα̃σαν σάρκα καὶ προφητεύσουσιν οἱ υἱοὶ ὑμω̃ν καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες ὑμω̃ν καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι ὑμω̃ν ἐνύπνια ἐνυπνιασθήσονται καὶ οἱ νεανίσκοι ὑμω̃ν ὁράσεις ὄψονται (Ⅲ) - Et erit post hæc :/ effundam spiritum meum super omnem carnem,/ et prophetabunt filii vestri et filiæ vestræ :/ senes vestri somnia somniabunt,/ et juvenes vestri visiones videbunt./ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃3 והיה אחרי כן אשפוך את רוחי על כל בשר ונבאו בניכם ובנותיכם זקניכם חלמות יחלמון בחוריכם חזינות יראו (Ⅴ)

And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
- Même sur les serviteurs et sur les servantes, Dans ces jours-là, je répandrai mon esprit. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς δούλους καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς δούλας ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις ἐκχεω̃ ἀπὸ του̃ πνεύματός μου (Ⅲ) - Sed et super servos meos et ancillas/ in diebus illis effundam spiritum meum./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃3 וגם על העבדים ועל השפחות בימים ההמה אשפוך את רוחי (Ⅴ)

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
- Je ferai paraître des prodiges dans les cieux et sur la terre, Du sang, du feu, et des colonnes de fumée; (Ⅱ) - καὶ δώσω τέρατα ἐν τω̨̃ οὐρανω̨̃ καὶ ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς αἱ̃μα καὶ πυ̃ρ καὶ ἀτμίδα καπνου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et dabo prodigia in cælo et in terra,/ sanguinem, et ignem, et vaporem fumi./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃3 ונתתי מופתים בשמים ובארץ דם ואש ותימרות עשן (Ⅴ)

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
- Le soleil se changera en ténèbres, Et la lune en sang, Avant l'arrivée du jour de l'Éternel, De ce jour grand et terrible. (Ⅱ) - ὁ ἥλιος μεταστραφήσεται εἰς σκότος καὶ ἡ σελήνη εἰς αἱ̃μα πρὶν ἐλθει̃ν ἡμέραν κυρίου τὴν μεγάλην καὶ ἐπιφανη̃ (Ⅲ) - Sol convertetur in tenebras,/ et luna in sanguinem,/ antequam veniat dies Domini magnus et horribilis./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃3 השמש יהפך לחשך והירח לדם לפני בוא יום יהוה הגדול והנורא (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
- Alors quiconque invoquera le nom de l'Éternel sera sauvé; Le salut sera sur la montagne de Sion et à Jérusalem, Comme a dit l'Éternel, Et parmi les réchappés que l'Éternel appellera. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται πα̃ς ὃς ἂν ἐπικαλέσηται τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου σωθήσεται ὅτι ἐν τω̨̃ ὄρει Σιων καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἔσται ἀνασω̨ζόμενος καθότι εἰ̃πεν κύριος καὶ εὐαγγελιζόμενοι οὓς κύριος προσκέκληται (Ⅲ) - Et erit : omnis qui invocaverit nomen Domini, salvus erit :/ quia in monte Sion et in Jerusalem/ erit salvatio, sicut dixit Dominus,/ et in residuis quos Dominus vocaverit.] (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃3 והיה כל אשר יקרא בשם יהוה ימלט כי בהר ציון ובירושלם תהיה פליטה כאשר אמר יהוה ובשרידים אשר יהוה קרא (Ⅴ)
