23. 1  
Cantique de David. L'Éternel est mon berger: je ne manquerai de rien.
- The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Ⅱ)
- ψαλμὸς τω̨̃ Δαυιδ κύριος ποιμαίνει με καὶ οὐδέν με ὑστερήσει (Ⅲ)
- Psalmus David. [Dominus regit me, et nihil mihi deerit :/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃23  מזמור לדוד יהוה רעי לא אחסר ‬ (Ⅴ)

Il me fait reposer dans de verts pâturages, Il me dirige près des eaux paisibles.
- He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. (Ⅱ)
- εἰς τόπον χλόης ἐκει̃ με κατεσκήνωσεν ἐπὶ ὕδατος ἀναπαύσεως ἐξέθρεψέν με (Ⅲ)
- in loco pascuæ, ibi me collocavit./ Super aquam refectionis educavit me ;/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃23  בנאות דשא ירביצני על מי מנחות ינהלני ‬ (Ⅴ)

Il restaure mon âme, Il me conduit dans les sentiers de la justice, A cause de son nom.
- He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. (Ⅱ)
- τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐπέστρεψεν ὡδήγησέν με ἐπὶ τρίβους δικαιοσύνης ἕνεκεν του̃ ὀνόματος αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- animam meam convertit./ Deduxit me super semitas justitiæ/ propter nomen suum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃23  נפשי ישובב ינחני במעגלי צדק למען שמו ‬ (Ⅴ)

Quand je marche dans la vallée de l'ombre de la mort, Je ne crains aucun mal, car tu es avec moi: Ta houlette et ton bâton me rassurent.
- Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (Ⅱ)
- ἐὰν γὰρ καὶ πορευθω̃ ἐν μέσω̨ σκια̃ς θανάτου οὐ φοβηθήσομαι κακά ὅτι σὺ μετ' ἐμου̃ εἰ̃ ἡ ῥάβδος σου καὶ ἡ βακτηρία σου αὐταί με παρεκάλεσαν (Ⅲ)
- Nam etsi ambulavero in medio umbræ mortis,/ non timebo mala, quoniam tu mecum es./ Virga tua, et baculus tuus,/ ipsa me consolata sunt./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃23  גם כי אלך בגיא צלמות לא אירא רע כי אתה עמדי שבטך ומשענתך המה ינחמני ‬ (Ⅴ)

Tu dresses devant moi une table, En face de mes adversaires; Tu oins d'huile ma tête, Et ma coupe déborde.
- Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. (Ⅱ)
- ἡτοίμασας ἐνώπιόν μου τράπεζαν ἐξ ἐναντίας τω̃ν θλιβόντων με ἐλίπανας ἐν ἐλαίω̨ τὴν κεφαλήν μου καὶ τὸ ποτήριόν σου μεθύσκον ὡς κράτιστον (Ⅲ)
- Parasti in conspectu meo mensam/ adversus eos qui tribulant me ;/ impinguasti in oleo caput meum :/ et calix meus inebrians, quam præclarus est !/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃23  תערך לפני שלחן נגד צררי דשנת בשמן ראשי כוסי רויה ‬ (Ⅴ)

Oui, le bonheur et la grâce m'accompagneront Tous les jours de ma vie, Et j'habiterai dans la maison de l'Éternel Jusqu'à la fin de mes jours.
- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ τὸ ἔλεός σου καταδιώξεταί με πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τη̃ς ζωη̃ς μου καὶ τὸ κατοικει̃ν με ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου εἰς μακρότητα ἡμερω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Et misericordia tua subsequetur me/ omnibus diebus vitæ meæ ;/ et ut inhabitem in domo Domini/ in longitudinem dierum.] (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃23  אך טוב וחסד ירדפוני כל ימי חיי ושבתי בבית יהוה לארך ימים ‬ (Ⅴ)
