He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
- Celui dont les testicules ont été écrasés ou l'urètre coupé n'entrera point dans l'assemblée de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται θλαδίας καὶ ἀποκεκομμένος εἰς ἐκκλησίαν κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Non intravit eunuchus, attritis vel amputatis testiculis et abscisso veretro, ecclesiam Domini. A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
- Celui qui est issu d'une union illicite n'entrera point dans l'assemblée de l'Éternel; même sa dixième génération n'entrera point dans l'assemblée de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται ἐκ πόρνης εἰς ἐκκλησίαν κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Non ingredietur mamzer, hoc est, de scorto natus, in ecclesiam Domini, usque ad decimam generationem. An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever:
- L'Ammonite et le Moabite n'entreront point dans l'assemblée de l'Éternel, même à la dixième génération et à perpétuité, (Ⅱ) - οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται Αμμανίτης καὶ Μωαβίτης εἰς ἐκκλησίαν κυρίου καὶ ἕως δεκάτης γενεα̃ς οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται εἰς ἐκκλησίαν κυρίου καὶ ἕως εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να (Ⅲ) - Ammonites et Moabites etiam post decimam generationem non intrabunt ecclesiam Domini in æternum : (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃23 לא יבא עמוני ומואבי בקהל יהוה גם דור עשירי לא יבא להם בקהל יהוה עד עולם (Ⅴ)

Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
- parce qu'ils ne sont pas venus au-devant de vous avec du pain et de l'eau, sur le chemin, lors de votre sortie d'Égypte, et parce qu'ils ont fait venir contre toi à prix d'argent Balaam, fils de Beor, de Pethor en Mésopotamie, pour qu'il te maudisse. (Ⅱ) - παρὰ τὸ μὴ συναντη̃σαι αὐτοὺς ὑμι̃ν μετὰ ἄρτων καὶ ὕδατος ἐν τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ ἐκπορευομένων ὑμω̃ν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ ὅτι ἐμισθώσαντο ἐπὶ σὲ τὸν Βαλααμ υἱὸν Βεωρ ἐκ τη̃ς Μεσοποταμίας καταράσασθαί σε (Ⅲ) - quia noluerunt vobis occurrere cum pane et aqua in via quando egressi estis de Ægypto : et quia conduxerunt contra te Balaam filium Beor de Mesopotamia Syriæ, ut malediceret tibi : (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃23 על דבר אשר לא קדמו אתכם בלחם ובמים בדרך בצאתכם ממצרים ואשר שכר עליך את בלעם בן בעור מפתור ארם נהרים לקללך (Ⅴ)

Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
- Mais l'Éternel, ton Dieu, n'a point voulu écouter Balaam; et l'Éternel, ton Dieu, a changé pour toi la malédiction en bénédiction, parce que tu es aimé de l'Éternel, ton Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησεν κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰσακου̃σαι του̃ Βαλααμ καὶ μετέστρεψεν κύριος ὁ θεός σου τὰς κατάρας εἰς εὐλογίαν ὅτι ἠγάπησέν σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου (Ⅲ) - et noluit Dominus Deus tuus audire Balaam, vertitque maledictionem ejus in benedictionem tuam, eo quod diligeret te. Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
- Tu n'auras souci ni de leur prospérité ni de leur bien-être, tant que tu vivras, à perpétuité. (Ⅱ) - οὐ προσαγορεύσεις εἰρηνικὰ αὐτοι̃ς καὶ συμφέροντα αὐτοι̃ς πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας σου εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να (Ⅲ) - Non facies cum eis pacem, nec quæras eis bona cunctis diebus vitæ tuæ in sempiternum. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃23 לא תדרש שלמם וטבתם כל ימיך לעולם ס (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
- Tu n'auras point en abomination l'Édomite, car il est ton frère; tu n'auras point en abomination l'Égyptien, car tu as été étranger dans son pays: (Ⅱ) - οὐ βδελύξη̨ Ιδουμαι̃ον ὅτι ἀδελφός σού ἐστιν οὐ βδελύξη̨ Αἰγύπτιον ὅτι πάροικος ἐγένου ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Non abominaberis Idumæum, quia frater tuus est : nec Ægyptium, quia advena fuisti in terra ejus. The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of the LORD in their third generation.
- les fils qui leur naîtront à la troisième génération entreront dans l'assemblée de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - υἱοὶ ἐὰν γενηθω̃σιν αὐτοι̃ς γενεὰ τρίτη εἰσελεύσονται εἰς ἐκκλησίαν κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Qui nati fuerint ex eis, tertia generatione intrabunt in ecclesiam Domini.\ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃23 בנים אשר יולדו להם דור שלישי יבא להם בקהל יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

When the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.
- Lorsque tu camperas contre tes ennemis, garde-toi de toute chose mauvaise. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν δὲ ἐξέλθη̨ς παρεμβαλει̃ν ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου καὶ φυλάξη̨ ἀπὸ παντὸς ῥήματος πονηρου̃ (Ⅲ) - Quando egressus fueris adversus hostes tuos in pugnam, custodies te ab omni re mala. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃23 כי תצא מחנה על איביך ונשמרת מכל דבר רע (Ⅴ)

If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
- S'il y a chez toi un homme qui ne soit pas pur, par suite d'un accident nocturne, il sortira du camp, et n'entrera point dans le camp; (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν ἠ̨̃ ἐν σοὶ ἄνθρωπος ὃς οὐκ ἔσται καθαρὸς ἐκ ῥύσεως αὐτου̃ νυκτός καὶ ἐξελεύσεται ἔξω τη̃ς παρεμβολη̃ς καὶ οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν (Ⅲ) - Si fuerit inter vos homo, qui nocturno pollutus sit somnio, egredietur extra castra, (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃23 כי יהיה בך איש אשר לא יהיה טהור מקרה לילה ויצא אל מחוץ למחנה לא יבא אל תוך המחנה (Ⅴ)

But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.
- sur le soir il se lavera dans l'eau, et après le coucher du soleil il pourra rentrer au camp. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται τὸ πρὸς ἑσπέραν λούσεται τὸ σω̃μα αὐτου̃ ὕδατι καὶ δεδυκότος ἡλίου εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν (Ⅲ) - et non revertetur, priusquam ad vesperam lavetur aqua : et post solis occasum regredietur in castra. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃23 והיה לפנות ערב ירחץ במים וכבא השמש יבא אל תוך המחנה[U] (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:
- Tu auras un lieu hors du camp, et c'est là dehors que tu iras. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τόπος ἔσται σοι ἔξω τη̃ς παρεμβολη̃ς καὶ ἐξελεύση̨ ἐκει̃ ἔξω (Ⅲ) - Habebis locum extra castra, ad quem egrediaris ad requisita naturæ, (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃23 ויד תהיה לך מחוץ למחנה ויצאת שמה חוץ (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:
- Tu auras parmi ton bagage un instrument, dont tu te serviras pour faire un creux et recouvrir tes excréments, quand tu voudras aller dehors. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πάσσαλος ἔσται σοι ἐπὶ τη̃ς ζώνης σου καὶ ἔσται ὅταν διακαθιζάνη̨ς ἔξω καὶ ὀρύξεις ἐν αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἐπαγαγὼν καλύψεις τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην σου ἐν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - gerens paxillum in balteo : cumque sederis, fodies per circuitum, et egesta humo operies (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃23 ויתד תהיה לך על אזנך והיה בשבתך חוץ וחפרתה בה ושבת וכסית את צאתך (Ⅴ)

For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
- Car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, marche au milieu de ton camp pour te protéger et pour livrer tes ennemis devant toi; ton camp devra donc être saint, afin que l'Éternel ne voie chez toi rien d'impur, et qu'il ne se détourne point de toi. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐμπεριπατει̃ ἐν τη̨̃ παρεμβολη̨̃ σου ἐξελέσθαι σε καὶ παραδου̃ναι τὸν ἐχθρόν σου πρὸ προσώπου σου καὶ ἔσται ἡ παρεμβολή σου ἁγία καὶ οὐκ ὀφθήσεται ἐν σοὶ ἀσχημοσύνη πράγματος καὶ ἀποστρέψει ἀπὸ σου̃ (Ⅲ) - quo revelatus es : Dominus enim Deus tuus ambulat in medio castrorum, ut eruat te, et tradat tibi inimicos tuos : et sint castra tua sancta, et nihil in eis appareat fœditatis, ne derelinquat te.\ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃23 כי יהוה אלהיך מתהלך בקרב מחנך להצילך ולתת איביך לפניך והיה מחניך קדוש ולא יראה בך ערות דבר ושב מאחריך ס (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:
- Tu ne livreras point à son maître un esclave qui se réfugiera chez toi, après l'avoir quitté. (Ⅱ) - οὐ παραδώσεις παι̃δα τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ αὐτου̃ ὃς προστέθειταί σοι παρὰ του̃ κυρίου αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Non trades servum domino suo, qui ad te confugerit. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃23 לא תסגיר עבד אל אדניו אשר ינצל אליך מעם אדניו (Ⅴ)

He shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
- Il demeurera chez toi, au milieu de toi, dans le lieu qu'il choisira, dans l'une de tes villes, où bon lui semblera: tu ne l'opprimeras point. (Ⅱ) - μετὰ σου̃ κατοικήσει ἐν ὑμι̃ν κατοικήσει ἐν παντὶ τόπω̨ οὑ̃ ἐὰν ἀρέση̨ αὐτω̨̃ οὐ θλίψεις αὐτόν (Ⅲ) - Habitabit tecum in loco, qui ei placuerit, et in una urbium tuarum requiescet : ne contristes eum. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃23 עמך ישב בקרבך במקום אשר יבחר באחד שעריך בטוב לו לא תוננו ס (Ⅴ)

There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
- Il n'y aura aucune prostituée parmi les filles d'Israël, et il n'y aura aucun prostitué parmi les fils d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - οὐκ ἔσται πόρνη ἀπὸ θυγατέρων Ισραηλ καὶ οὐκ ἔσται πορνεύων ἀπὸ υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ οὐκ ἔσται τελεσφόρος ἀπὸ θυγατέρων Ισραηλ καὶ οὐκ ἔσται τελισκόμενος ἀπὸ υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Non erit meretrix de filiabus Israël, nec scortator de filiis Israël. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃23 לא תהיה קדשה מבנות ישראל ולא יהיה קדש מבני ישראל[U] (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
- Tu n'apporteras point dans la maison de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, le salaire d'une prostituée ni le prix d'un chien, pour l'accomplissement d'un voeu quelconque; car l'un et l'autre sont en abomination à l'Éternel, ton Dieu. (Ⅱ) - οὐ προσοίσεις μίσθωμα πόρνης οὐδὲ ἄλλαγμα κυνὸς εἰς τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ σου πρὸς πα̃σαν εὐχήν ὅτι βδέλυγμα κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ σού ἐστιν καὶ ἀμφότερα (Ⅲ) - Non offeres mercedem prostibuli, nec pretium canis in domo Domini Dei tui, quidquid illud est quod voveris : quia abominatio est utrumque apud Dominum Deum tuum. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃23 לא תביא אתנן זונה ומחיר כלב בית יהוה אלהיך לכל נדר כי תועבת יהוה אלהיך גם שניהם (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
- Tu n'exigeras de ton frère aucun intérêt ni pour argent, ni pour vivres, ni pour rien de ce qui se prête à intérêt. (Ⅱ) - οὐκ ἐκτοκιει̃ς τω̨̃ ἀδελφω̨̃ σου τόκον ἀργυρίου καὶ τόκον βρωμάτων καὶ τόκον παντὸς πράγματος οὑ̃ ἂν ἐκδανείση̨ς (Ⅲ) - Non fœnerabis fratri tuo ad usuram pecuniam, nec fruges, nec quamlibet aliam rem : (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃23 לא תשיך לאחיך נשך כסף נשך אכל נשך כל דבר אשר ישך (Ⅴ)

Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
- Tu pourras tirer un intérêt de l'étranger, mais tu n'en tireras point de ton frère, afin que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te bénisse dans tout ce que tu entreprendras au pays dont tu vas entrer en possession. (Ⅱ) - τω̨̃ ἀλλοτρίω̨ ἐκτοκιει̃ς τω̨̃ δὲ ἀδελφω̨̃ σου οὐκ ἐκτοκιει̃ς ἵνα εὐλογήση̨ σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐν πα̃σι τοι̃ς ἔργοις σου ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς εἰς ἣν εἰσπορεύη̨ ἐκει̃ κληρονομη̃σαι αὐτήν (Ⅲ) - sed alieno. Fratri autem tuo absque usura id quo indiget, commodabis : ut benedicat tibi Dominus Deus tuus in omni opere tuo in terra, ad quam ingredieris possidendam. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃23 לנכרי תשיך ולאחיך לא תשיך למען יברכך יהוה אלהיך בכל משלח ידך על הארץ אשר אתה בא שמה לרשתה ס (Ⅴ)

When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
- Si tu fais un voeu à l'Éternel, ton Dieu, tu ne tarderas point à l'accomplir: car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'en demanderait compte, et tu te chargerais d'un péché. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν δὲ εὔξη̨ εὐχὴν κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ σου οὐ χρονιει̃ς ἀποδου̃ναι αὐτήν ὅτι ἐκζητω̃ν ἐκζητήσει κύριος ὁ θεός σου παρὰ σου̃ καὶ ἔσται ἐν σοὶ ἁμαρία (Ⅲ) - Cum votum voveris Domino Deo tuo, non tardabis reddere : quia requiret illud Dominus Deus tuus, et si moratus fueris, reputabitur tibi in peccatum. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃23 כי תדר נדר ליהוה אלהיך לא תאחר לשלמו כי דרש ידרשנו יהוה אלהיך מעמך והיה בך חטא (Ⅴ)

But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.
- Si tu t'abstiens de faire un voeu, tu ne commettras pas un péché. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν δὲ μὴ θέλη̨ς εὔξασθαι οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν σοὶ ἁμαρτία (Ⅲ) - Si nolueris polliceri, absque peccato eris. (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃23 וכי תחדל לנדר לא יהיה בך חטא (Ⅴ)

That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
- Mais tu observeras et tu accompliras ce qui sortira de tes lèvres, par conséquent les voeux que tu feras volontairement à l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et que ta bouche aura prononcés. (Ⅱ) - τὰ ἐκπορευόμενα διὰ τω̃ν χειλέων σου φυλάξη̨ καὶ ποιήσεις ὃν τρόπον εὔξω κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ σου δόμα ὃ ἐλάλησας τω̨̃ στόματί σου (Ⅲ) - Quod autem semel egressum est de labiis tuis, observabis, et facies sicut promisisti Domino Deo tuo, et propria voluntate et ore tuo locutus es. (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃23 מוצא שפתיך תשמר ועשית כאשר נדרת ליהוה אלהיך נדבה אשר דברת בפיך ס (Ⅴ)

When thou comest into thy neighbor's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
- Si tu entres dans la vigne de ton prochain, tu pourras à ton gré manger des raisins et t'en rassasier; mais tu n'en mettras point dans ton vase. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν δὲ εἰσέλθη̨ς εἰς ἀμητὸν του̃ πλησίον σου καὶ συλλέξεις ἐν ται̃ς χερσίν σου στάχυς καὶ δρέπανον οὐ μὴ ἐπιβάλη̨ς ἐπὶ τὸν ἀμητὸν του̃ πλησίον σου (Ⅲ) - Ingressus vineam proximi tui, comede uvas, quantum tibi placuerit : foras autem ne efferas tecum. (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃23 כי תבא בכרם רעך ואכלת ענבים כנפשך שבעך ואל כליך לא תתן ס (Ⅴ)

When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbor, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbor's standing corn.
- Si tu entres dans les blés de ton prochain, tu pourras cueillir des épis avec la main, mais tu n'agiteras point la faucille sur les blés de ton prochain. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν δὲ εἰσέλθη̨ς εἰς τὸν ἀμπελω̃να του̃ πλησίον σου φάγη̨ σταφυλὴν ὅσον ψυχήν σου ἐμπλησθη̃ναι εἰς δὲ ἄγγος οὐκ ἐμβαλει̃ς (Ⅲ) - Si intraveris in segetem amici tui, franges spicas, et manu conteres : falce autem non metes. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃23 כי תבא בקמת רעך וקטפת מלילת בידך וחרמש לא תניף על קמת רעך ס (Ⅴ)
