Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.

And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
- Elle lui enfanta Zimran, Jokschan, Medan, Madian, Jischbak et Schuach. (Ⅱ) - ἔτεκεν δὲ αὐτω̨̃ τὸν Ζεμραν καὶ τὸν Ιεξαν καὶ τὸν Μαδαν καὶ τὸν Μαδιαμ καὶ τὸν Ιεσβοκ καὶ τὸν Σωυε (Ⅲ) - quæ peperit ei Zamran et Jecsan, et Madan, et Madian, et Jesboc, et Sue. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃25 ותלד לו את זמרן ואת יקשן ואת מדן ואת מדין ואת ישבק ואת שוח (Ⅴ)

And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.
- Jokschan engendra Séba et Dedan. Les fils de Dedan furent les Aschurim, les Letuschim et les Leummim. (Ⅱ) - Ιεξαν δὲ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαβα καὶ τὸν Θαιμαν καὶ τὸν Δαιδαν υἱοὶ δὲ Δαιδαν ἐγένοντο Ραγουηλ καὶ Ναβδεηλ καὶ Ασσουριιμ καὶ Λατουσιιμ καὶ Λοωμιμ (Ⅲ) - Jecsan quoque genuit Saba et Dadan. Filii Dadan fuerunt Assurim, et Latusim, et Loomin. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃25 ויקשן ילד את שבא ואת דדן ובני דדן היו אשורם ולטושים ולאמים (Ⅴ)

And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
- Les fils de Madian furent Épha, Épher, Hénoc, Abida et Eldaa. -Ce sont là tous les fils de Ketura. (Ⅱ) - υἱοὶ δὲ Μαδιαμ Γαιφα καὶ Αφερ καὶ Ενωχ καὶ Αβιρα καὶ Ελραγα πάντες οὑ̃τοι ἠ̃σαν υἱοὶ Χεττουρας (Ⅲ) - At vero ex Madian ortus est Epha, et Opher, et Henoch, et Abida, et Eldaa : omnes hi filii Ceturæ. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃25 ובני מדין עיפה ועפר וחנך ואבידע ואלדעה כל אלה בני קטורה (Ⅴ)

And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.

But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.
- Il fit des dons aux fils de ses concubines; et, tandis qu'il vivait encore, il les envoya loin de son fils Isaac du côté de l'orient, dans le pays d'Orient. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς τω̃ν παλλακω̃ν αὐτου̃ ἔδωκεν Αβρααμ δόματα καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ Ισαακ του̃ υἱου̃ αὐτου̃ ἔτι ζω̃ντος αὐτου̃ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς εἰς γη̃ν ἀνατολω̃ν (Ⅲ) - filiis autem concubinarum largitus est munera, et separavit eos ab Isaac filio suo, dum adhuc ipse viveret, ad plagam orientalem. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃25 ולבני הפילגשים אשר לאברהם נתן אברהם מתנת וישלחם מעל יצחק בנו בעודנו חי קדמה אל ארץ קדם (Ⅴ)

And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.
- Voici les jours des années de la vie d'Abraham: il vécut cent soixante quinze ans. (Ⅱ) - ταυ̃τα δὲ τὰ ἔτη ἡμερω̃ν ζωη̃ς Αβρααμ ὅσα ἔζησεν ἑκατὸν ἑβδομήκοντα πέντε ἔτη (Ⅲ) - Fuerunt autem dies vitæ Abrahæ, centum septuaginta quinque anni. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃25 ואלה ימי שני חיי אברהם אשר חי מאת שנה ושבעים שנה וחמש שנים (Ⅴ)

Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
- Abraham expira et mourut, après une heureuse vieillesse, âgé et rassasié de jours, et il fut recueilli auprès de son peuple. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκλιπὼν ἀπέθανεν Αβρααμ ἐν γήρει καλω̨̃ πρεσβύτης καὶ πλήρης ἡμερω̃ν καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et deficiens mortuus est in senectute bona, provectæque ætatis et plenus dierum : congregatusque est ad populum suum. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃25 ויגוע וימת אברהם בשיבה טובה זקן ושבע ויאסף אל עמיו (Ⅴ)

And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;
- Isaac et Ismaël, ses fils, l'enterrèrent dans la caverne de Macpéla, dans le champ d'Éphron, fils de Tsochar, le Héthien, vis-à-vis de Mamré. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν Ισαακ καὶ Ισμαηλ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτου̃ εἰς τὸ σπήλαιον τὸ διπλου̃ν εἰς τὸν ἀγρὸν Εφρων του̃ Σααρ του̃ Χετταίου ὅ ἐστιν ἀπέναντι Μαμβρη (Ⅲ) - Et sepelierunt eum Isaac et Ismaël filii sui in spelunca duplici, quæ sita est in agro Ephron filii Seor Hethæi, e regione Mambre, (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃25 ויקברו אתו יצחק וישמעאל בניו אל מערת המכפלה אל שדה עפרן בן צחר החתי אשר על פני ממרא (Ⅴ)

The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.
- C'est le champ qu'Abraham avait acquis des fils de Heth. Là furent enterrés Abraham et Sara, sa femme. (Ⅱ) - τὸν ἀγρὸν καὶ τὸ σπήλαιον ὃ ἐκτήσατο Αβρααμ παρὰ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Χετ ἐκει̃ ἔθαψαν Αβρααμ καὶ Σαρραν τὴν γυναι̃κα αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - quem emerat a filiis Heth : ibi sepultus est ipse, et Sara uxor ejus. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃25 השדה אשר קנה אברהם מאת בני חת שמה קבר אברהם ושרה אשתו (Ⅴ)

And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.
- Après la mort d'Abraham, Dieu bénit Isaac, son fils. Il habitait près du puits de Lachaï roï. (Ⅱ) - ἐγένετο δὲ μετὰ τὸ ἀποθανει̃ν Αβρααμ εὐλόγησεν ὁ θεὸς Ισαακ τὸν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ κατώ̨κησεν Ισαακ παρὰ τὸ φρέαρ τη̃ς ὁράσεως (Ⅲ) - Et post obitum illius benedixit Deus Isaac filio ejus, qui habitabat juxta puteum nomine Viventis et videntis.\ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃25 ויהי אחרי מות אברהם ויברך אלהים את יצחק בנו וישב יצחק עם באר לחי ראי ס (Ⅴ)

Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham:
- Voici la postérité d'Ismaël, fils d'Abraham, qu'Agar, l'Égyptienne, servante de Sara, avait enfanté à Abraham. (Ⅱ) - αὑ̃ται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις Ισμαηλ του̃ υἱου̃ Αβρααμ ὃν ἔτεκεν Αγαρ ἡ παιδίσκη Σαρρας τω̨̃ Αβρααμ (Ⅲ) - Hæ sunt generationes Ismaël filii Abrahæ, quem peperit ei Agar Ægyptia, famula Saræ : et (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃25 ואלה תלדת ישמעאל בן אברהם אשר ילדה הגר המצרית שפחת שרה לאברהם (Ⅴ)

And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
- Voici les noms des fils d'Ismaël, par leurs noms, selon leurs générations: Nebajoth, premier-né d'Ismaël, Kédar, Adbeel, Mibsam, (Ⅱ) - καὶ ταυ̃τα τὰ ὀνόματα τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισμαηλ κατ' ὄνομα τω̃ν γενεω̃ν αὐτου̃ πρωτότοκος Ισμαηλ Ναβαιωθ καὶ Κηδαρ καὶ Ναβδεηλ καὶ Μασσαμ (Ⅲ) - hæc nomina filiorum ejus in vocabulis et generationibus suis. Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:
- Hadad, Théma, Jethur, Naphisch et Kedma. (Ⅱ) - καὶ Χοδδαδ καὶ Θαιμαν καὶ Ιετουρ καὶ Ναφες καὶ Κεδμα (Ⅲ) - Hadar, et Thema, et Jethur, et Naphis, et Cedma. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃25 חדד ותימא יטור נפיש וקדמה (Ⅴ)

These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.
- Ce sont là les fils d'Ismaël; ce sont là leurs noms, selon leurs parcs et leurs enclos. Ils furent les douze chefs de leurs peuples. (Ⅱ) - οὑ̃τοί εἰσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισμαηλ καὶ ταυ̃τα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτω̃ν ἐν ται̃ς σκηναι̃ς αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐν ται̃ς ἐπαύλεσιν αὐτω̃ν δώδεκα ἄρχοντες κατὰ ἔθνη αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Isti sunt filii Ismaëlis : et hæc nomina per castella et oppida eorum, duodecim principes tribuum suarum. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃25 אלה הם בני ישמעאל ואלה שמתם בחצריהם ובטירתם שנים עשר נשיאם לאמתם (Ⅴ)

And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.
- Et voici les années de la vie d'Ismaël: cent trente-sept ans. Il expira et mourut, et il fut recueilli auprès de son peuple. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ταυ̃τα τὰ ἔτη τη̃ς ζωη̃ς Ισμαηλ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἑπτὰ ἔτη καὶ ἐκλιπὼν ἀπέθανεν καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸ γένος αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et facti sunt anni vitæ Ismaëlis centum triginta septem, deficiensque mortuus est, et appositus ad populum suum. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃25 ואלה שני חיי ישמעאל מאת שנה ושלשים שנה ושבע שנים ויגוע וימת ויאסף אל עמיו (Ⅴ)

And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.
- Ses fils habitèrent depuis Havila jusqu'à Schur, qui est en face de l'Égypte, en allant vers l'Assyrie. Il s'établit en présence de tous ses frères. (Ⅱ) - κατώ̨κησεν δὲ ἀπὸ Ευιλατ ἕως Σουρ ἥ ἐστιν κατὰ πρόσωπον Αἰγύπτου ἕως ἐλθει̃ν πρὸς 'Ασσυρίους κατὰ πρόσωπον πάντων τω̃ν ἀδελφω̃ν αὐτου̃ κατώ̨κησεν (Ⅲ) - Habitavit autem ab Hevila usque Sur, quæ respicit Ægyptum introëuntibus Assyrios ; coram cunctis fratribus suis obiit.\ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃25 וישכנו מחוילה עד שור אשר על פני מצרים באכה אשורה על פני כל אחיו נפל פ (Ⅴ)

And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham begat Isaac:

And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
- Abraham engendra Isaac. Isaac était âgé de quarante ans, quand il prit pour femme Rebecca, fille de Bethuel, l'Araméen, de Paddan Aram, et soeur de Laban, l'Araméen. (Ⅱ) - ἠ̃ν δὲ Ισαακ ἐτω̃ν τεσσαράκοντα ὅτε ἔλαβεν τὴν Ρεβεκκαν θυγατέρα Βαθουηλ του̃ Σύρου ἐκ τη̃ς Μεσοποταμίας ἀδελφὴν Λαβαν του̃ Σύρου ἑαυτω̨̃ γυναι̃κα (Ⅲ) - qui cum quadraginta esset annorum, duxit uxorem Rebeccam filiam Bathuelis Syri de Mesopotamia, sororem Laban. (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃25 ויהי יצחק בן ארבעים שנה בקחתו את רבקה בת בתואל הארמי מפדן ארם אחות לבן הארמי לו לאשה (Ⅴ)

And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
- Isaac implora l'Éternel pour sa femme, car elle était stérile, et l'Éternel l'exauça: Rebecca, sa femme, devint enceinte. (Ⅱ) - ἐδει̃το δὲ Ισαακ κυρίου περὶ Ρεβεκκας τη̃ς γυναικὸς αὐτου̃ ὅτι στει̃ρα ἠ̃ν ἐπήκουσεν δὲ αὐτου̃ ὁ θεός καὶ ἔλαβεν ἐν γαστρὶ Ρεβεκκα ἡ γυνὴ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Deprecatusque est Isaac Dominum pro uxore sua, eo quod esset sterilis : qui exaudivit eum, et dedit conceptum Rebeccæ. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃25 ויעתר יצחק ליהוה לנכח אשתו כי עקרה הוא ויעתר לו יהוה ותהר רבקה אשתו (Ⅴ)

And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.
- Les enfants se heurtaient dans son sein; et elle dit: S'il en est ainsi, pourquoi suis-je enceinte? Elle alla consulter l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - ἐσκίρτων δὲ τὰ παιδία ἐν αὐτη̨̃ εἰ̃πεν δέ εἰ οὕτως μοι μέλλει γίνεσθαι ἵνα τί μοι του̃το ἐπορεύθη δὲ πυθέσθαι παρὰ κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Sed collidebantur in utero ejus parvuli ; quæ ait : Si sic mihi futurum erat, quid necesse fuit concipere ? perrexitque ut consuleret Dominum. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃25 ויתרצצו הבנים בקרבה ותאמר אם כן למה זה אנכי ותלך לדרש את יהוה (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
- Et l'Éternel lui dit: Deux nations sont dans ton ventre, et deux peuples se sépareront au sortir de tes entrailles; un de ces peuples sera plus fort que l'autre, et le plus grand sera assujetti au plus petit. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος αὐτη̨̃ δύο ἔθνη ἐν τη̨̃ γαστρί σού εἰσιν καὶ δύο λαοὶ ἐκ τη̃ς κοιλίας σου διασταλήσονται καὶ λαὸς λαου̃ ὑπερέξει καὶ ὁ μείζων δουλεύσει τω̨̃ ἐλάσσονι (Ⅲ) - Qui respondens ait : [Duæ gentes sunt in utero tuo,/ et duo populi ex ventre tuo dividentur,/ populusque populum superabit,/ et major serviet minori.] (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃25 ויאמר יהוה לה שני *גיים **גוים בבטנך ושני לאמים ממעיך יפרדו ולאם מלאם יאמץ ורב יעבד צעיר (Ⅴ)

And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
- Les jours où elle devait accoucher s'accomplirent; et voici, il y avait deux jumeaux dans son ventre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπληρώθησαν αἱ ἡμέραι του̃ τεκει̃ν αὐτήν καὶ τη̨̃δε ἠ̃ν δίδυμα ἐν τη̨̃ κοιλία̨ αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Jam tempus pariendi advenerat, et ecce gemini in utero ejus reperti sunt. (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃25 וימלאו ימיה ללדת והנה תומם בבטנה (Ⅴ)

And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
- Le premier sortit entièrement roux, comme un manteau de poil; et on lui donna le nom d'Ésaü. (Ⅱ) - ἐξη̃λθεν δὲ ὁ υἱὸς ὁ πρωτότοκος πυρράκης ὅλος ὡσεὶ δορὰ δασύς ἐπωνόμασεν δὲ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Ησαυ (Ⅲ) - Qui prior egressus est, rufus erat, et totus in morem pellis hispidus : vocatumque est nomen ejus Esau. Protinus alter egrediens, plantam fratris tenebat manu : et idcirco appellavit eum Jacob. (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃25 ויצא הראשון אדמוני כלו כאדרת שער ויקראו שמו עשו (Ⅴ)

And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
- Ensuite sortit son frère, dont la main tenait le talon d'Ésaü; et on lui donna le nom de Jacob. Isaac était âgé de soixante ans, lorsqu'ils naquirent. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μετὰ του̃το ἐξη̃λθεν ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἡ χεὶρ αὐτου̃ ἐπειλημμένη τη̃ς πτέρνης Ησαυ καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Ιακωβ Ισαακ δὲ ἠ̃ν ἐτω̃ν ἑξήκοντα ὅτε ἔτεκεν αὐτοὺς Ρεβεκκα (Ⅲ) - Sexagenarius erat Isaac quando nati sunt ei parvuli. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃25 ואחרי כן יצא אחיו וידו אחזת בעקב עשו ויקרא שמו יעקב ויצחק בן ששים שנה בלדת אתם (Ⅴ)

And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
- Ces enfants grandirent. Ésaü devint un habile chasseur, un homme des champs; mais Jacob fut un homme tranquille, qui restait sous les tentes. (Ⅱ) - ηὐξήθησαν δὲ οἱ νεανίσκοι καὶ ἠ̃ν Ησαυ ἄνθρωπος εἰδὼς κυνηγει̃ν ἄγροικος Ιακωβ δὲ ἠ̃ν ἄνθρωπος ἄπλαστος οἰκω̃ν οἰκίαν (Ⅲ) - Quibus adultis, factus est Esau vir gnarus venandi, et homo agricola : Jacob autem vir simplex habitabat in tabernaculis. (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃25 ויגדלו הנערים ויהי עשו איש ידע ציד איש שדה ויעקב איש תם ישב אהלים (Ⅴ)

And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
- Isaac aimait Ésaü, parce qu'il mangeait du gibier; et Rebecca aimait Jacob. (Ⅱ) - ἠγάπησεν δὲ Ισαακ τὸν Ησαυ ὅτι ἡ θήρα αὐτου̃ βρω̃σις αὐτω̨̃ Ρεβεκκα δὲ ἠγάπα τὸν Ιακωβ (Ⅲ) - Isaac amabat Esau, eo quod de venationibus illius vesceretur : et Rebecca diligebat Jacob. (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃25 ויאהב יצחק את עשו כי ציד בפיו ורבקה אהבת את יעקב (Ⅴ)

And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
- Comme Jacob faisait cuire un potage, Ésaü revint des champs, accablé de fatigue. (Ⅱ) - ἥψησεν δὲ Ιακωβ ἕψεμα ἠ̃λθεν δὲ Ησαυ ἐκ του̃ πεδίου ἐκλείπων (Ⅲ) - Coxit autem Jacob pulmentum : ad quem cum venisset Esau de agro lassus, (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃25 ויזד יעקב נזיד ויבא עשו מן השדה והוא עיף (Ⅴ)

And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
- Et Ésaü dit à Jacob: Laisse-moi, je te prie, manger de ce roux, de ce roux-là, car je suis fatigué. C'est pour cela qu'on a donné à Ésaü le nom d'Édom. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Ησαυ τω̨̃ Ιακωβ γευ̃σόν με ἀπὸ του̃ ἑψέματος του̃ πυρρου̃ τούτου ὅτι ἐκλείπω διὰ του̃το ἐκλήθη τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Εδωμ (Ⅲ) - ait : Da mihi de coctione hac rufa, quia oppido lassus sum. Quam ob causam vocatum est nomen ejus Edom. (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃25 ויאמר עשו אל יעקב הלעיטני נא מן האדם האדם הזה כי עיף אנכי על כן קרא שמו אדום (Ⅴ)

And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
- Jacob dit: Vends-moi aujourd'hui ton droit d'aînesse. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ Ιακωβ τω̨̃ Ησαυ ἀπόδου μοι σήμερον τὰ πρωτοτόκιά σου ἐμοί (Ⅲ) - Cui dixit Jacob : Vende mihi primogenita tua. (Ⅳ) - 31 ׃25 ויאמר יעקב מכרה כיום את בכרתך לי (Ⅴ)

And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
- Ésaü répondit: Voici, je m'en vais mourir; à quoi me sert ce droit d'aînesse? (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ Ησαυ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ πορεύομαι τελευτα̃ν καὶ ἵνα τί μοι ταυ̃τα τὰ πρωτοτόκια (Ⅲ) - Ille respondit : En morior, quid mihi proderunt primogenita ? (Ⅳ) - 32 ׃25 ויאמר עשו הנה אנכי הולך למות ולמה זה לי בכרה (Ⅴ)

And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
- Et Jacob dit: Jure-le moi d'abord. Il le lui jura, et il vendit son droit d'aînesse à Jacob. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Ιακωβ ὄμοσόν μοι σήμερον καὶ ὤμοσεν αὐτω̨̃ ἀπέδοτο δὲ Ησαυ τὰ πρωτοτόκια τω̨̃ Ιακωβ (Ⅲ) - Ait Jacob : Jura ergo mihi. Juravit ei Esau et vendidit primogenita. (Ⅳ) - 33 ׃25 ויאמר יעקב השבעה לי כיום וישבע לו וימכר את בכרתו ליעקב (Ⅴ)

Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
- Alors Jacob donna à Ésaü du pain et du potage de lentilles. Il mangea et but, puis se leva et s'en alla. C'est ainsi qu'Ésaü méprisa le droit d'aînesse. (Ⅱ) - Ιακωβ δὲ ἔδωκεν τω̨̃ Ησαυ ἄρτον καὶ ἕψεμα φακου̃ καὶ ἔφαγεν καὶ ἔπιεν καὶ ἀναστὰς ὤ̨χετο καὶ ἐφαύλισεν Ησαυ τὰ πρωτοτόκια (Ⅲ) - Et sic, accepto pane et lentis edulio, comedit et bibit, et abiit, parvipendens quod primogenita vendidisset. (Ⅳ) - 34 ׃25 ויעקב נתן לעשו לחם ונזיד עדשים ויאכל וישת ויקם וילך ויבז עשו את הבכרה ס (Ⅴ)
