Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.
- Jotham avait vingt-cinq ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna seize ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Jeruscha, fille de Tsadok. (Ⅱ) - υἱὸς εἴκοσι πέντε ἐτω̃ν Ιωαθαμ ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλευ̃σαι αὐτὸν καὶ δέκα ἓξ ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̃ς μητρὸς αὐτου̃ Ιερουσα θυγάτηρ Σαδωκ (Ⅲ) - Viginti quinque annorum erat Joatham cum regnare cœpisset, et sedecim annis regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus Jerusa filia Sadoc. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃27 בן עשרים וחמש שנה יותם במלכו ושש עשרה שנה מלך בירושלם ושם אמו ירושה בת צדוק (Ⅴ)

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the LORD. And the people did yet corruptly.
- Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, entièrement comme avait fait Ozias, son père. Seulement, il n'entra point dans le temple de l'Éternel. Toutefois, le peuple se corrompait encore. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ εὐθὲς ἐνώπιον κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν Οζιας ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ ἀλλ' οὐκ εἰση̃λθεν εἰς τὸν ναὸν κυρίου καὶ ἔτι ὁ λαὸς κατεφθείρετο (Ⅲ) - Fecitque quod rectum erat coram Domino, juxta omnia quæ fecerat Ozias pater suus, excepto quod non est ingressus templum Domini : et adhuc populus delinquebat. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃27 ויעש הישר בעיני יהוה ככל אשר עשה עזיהו אביו רק לא בא אל היכל יהוה ועוד העם משחיתים (Ⅴ)

He built the high gate of the house of the LORD, and on the wall of Ophel he built much.
- Jotham bâtit la porte supérieure de la maison de l'Éternel, et il fit beaucoup de constructions sur les murs de la colline. (Ⅱ) - αὐτὸς ὠ̨κοδόμησεν τὴν πύλην οἴκου κυρίου τὴν ὑψηλὴν καὶ ἐν τείχει του̃ Οφλα ὠ̨κοδόμησεν πολλά (Ⅲ) - Ipse ædificavit portam domus Domini excelsam, et in muro Ophel multa construxit. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃27 הוא בנה את שער בית יהוה העליון ובחומת העפל בנה לרב (Ⅴ)

Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers.
- Il bâtit des villes dans la montagne de Juda, et des châteaux et des tours dans les bois. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πόλεις ὠ̨κοδόμησεν ἐν ὄρει Ιουδα καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς δρυμοι̃ς καὶ οἰκήσεις καὶ πύργους (Ⅲ) - Urbes quoque ædificavit in montibus Juda, et in saltibus castella et turres. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃27 וערים בנה בהר יהודה ובחרשים בנה בירניות ומגדלים (Ⅴ)

He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third.
- Il fut en guerre avec le roi des fils d'Ammon, et il l'emporta sur eux. Les fils d'Ammon lui donnèrent cette année-là cent talents d'argent, dix mille cors de froment, et dix mille d'orge; et ils lui en payèrent autant la seconde année et la troisième. (Ⅱ) - αὐτὸς ἐμαχέσατο πρὸς βασιλέα υἱω̃ν Αμμων καὶ κατίσχυσεν ἐπ' αὐτόν καὶ ἐδίδουν αὐτω̨̃ οἱ υἱοὶ Αμμων κατ' ἐνιαυτὸν ἑκατὸν τάλαντα ἀργυρίου καὶ δέκα χιλιάδας κόρων πυρου̃ καὶ κριθω̃ν δέκα χιλιάδας ταυ̃τα ἔφερεν αὐτω̨̃ βασιλεὺς Αμμων κατ' ἐνιαυτὸν ἐν τω̨̃ πρώτω̨ ἔτει καὶ τω̨̃ δευτέρω̨ καὶ τω̨̃ τρίτω̨ (Ⅲ) - Ipse pugnavit contra regem filiorum Ammon, et vicit eos, dederuntque ei filii Ammon in tempore illo centum talenta argenti, et decem millia coros tritici, ac totidem coros hordei : hæc ei præbuerunt filii Ammon in anno secundo et tertio. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃27 והוא נלחם עם מלך בני עמון ויחזק עליהם ויתנו לו בני עמון בשנה ההיא מאה ככר כסף ועשרת אלפים כרים חטים ושעורים עשרת אלפים זאת השיבו לו בני עמון סובשנה השנית והשלשית (Ⅴ)

So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God.
- Jotham devint puissant, parce qu'il affermit ses voies devant l'Éternel, son Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κατίσχυσεν Ιωαθαμ ὅτι ἡτοίμασεν τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτου̃ ἔναντι κυρίου θεου̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Corroboratusque est Joatham, eo quod direxisset vias suas coram Domino Deo suo. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃27 ויתחזק יותם כי הכין דרכיו לפני יהוה אלהיו (Ⅴ)

Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
- Le reste des actions de Jotham, toutes ses guerres, et tout ce qu'il a fait, cela est écrit dans le livre des rois d'Israël et de Juda. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οἱ λοιποὶ λόγοι Ιωαθαμ καὶ ὁ πόλεμος καὶ αἱ πράξεις αὐτου̃ ἰδοὺ γεγραμμένοι ἐπὶ βιβλίω̨ βασιλέων Ιουδα καὶ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Reliqua autem sermonum Joatham, et omnes pugnæ ejus et opera, scripta sunt in libro regum Israël et Juda. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃27 ויתר דברי יותם וכל מלחמתיו ודרכיו הנם כתובים על ספר מלכי ישראל ויהודה (Ⅴ)

He was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
- Il avait vingt-cinq ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna seize ans à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ) - Viginti quinque annorum erat cum regnare cœpisset, et sedecim annis regnavit in Jerusalem. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃27 בן עשרים וחמש שנה היה במלכו ושש עשרה שנה מלך בירושלם (Ⅴ)

And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
- Jotham se coucha avec ses pères, et on l'enterra dans la ville de David. Et Achaz, son fils, régna à sa place. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Ιωαθαμ μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐτάφη ἐν πόλει Δαυιδ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Αχαζ υἱὸς αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Dormivitque Joatham cum patribus suis, et sepelierunt eum in civitate David : et regnavit Achaz filius ejus pro eo. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃27 וישכב יותם עם אבתיו ויקברו אתו בעיר דויד וימלך אחז בנו תחתיו פ (Ⅴ)
