The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
- La parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (Ⅲ) - Et factus est sermo Domini ad me, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃28 ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר (Ⅴ)

Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
- Fils de l'homme, dis au prince de Tyr: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Ton coeur s'est élevé, et tu as dit: Je suis Dieu, Je suis assis sur le siège de Dieu, au sein des mers! Toi, tu es homme et non Dieu, Et tu prends ta volonté pour la volonté de Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου εἰπὸν τω̨̃ ἄρχοντι Τύρου τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ' ὡ̃ν ὑψώθη σου ἡ καρδία καὶ εἰ̃πας θεός εἰμι ἐγώ κατοικίαν θεου̃ κατώ̨κηκα ἐν καρδία̨ θαλάσσης σὺ δὲ εἰ̃ ἄνθρωπος καὶ οὐ θεὸς καὶ ἔδωκας τὴν καρδίαν σου ὡς καρδίαν θεου̃ (Ⅲ) - Fili hominis, dic principi Tyri : [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Eo quod elevatum est cor tuum,/ et dixisti : Deus ego sum,/ et in cathedra Dei sedi in corde maris,/ cum sis homo, et non deus :/ et dedisti cor tuum quasi cor Dei :/ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃28 בן אדם אמר לנגיד צר כה אמר אדני יהוה יען גבה לבך ותאמר אל אני מושב אלהים ישבתי בלב ימים ואתה אדם ולא אל ותתן לבך כלב אלהים (Ⅴ)

Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
- Voici, tu es plus sage que Daniel, Rien de secret n'est caché pour toi; (Ⅱ) - μὴ σοφώτερος εἰ̃ σὺ του̃ Δανιηλ σοφοὶ οὐκ ἐπαίδευσάν σε τη̨̃ ἐπιστήμη̨ αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - ecce sapientior es tu Daniele :/ omne secretum non est absconditum a te :/ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃28 הנה חכם אתה *מדנאל **מדניאל[a] כל סתום לא עממוך (Ⅴ)

With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
- Par ta sagesse et par ton intelligence Tu t'es acquis des richesses, Tu as amassé de l'or et de l'argent Dans tes trésors; (Ⅱ) - μὴ ἐν τη̨̃ ἐπιστήμη̨ σου ἢ ἐν τη̨̃ φρονήσει σου ἐποίησας σεαυτω̨̃ δύναμιν καὶ χρυσίον καὶ ἀργύριον ἐν τοι̃ς θησαυροι̃ς σου (Ⅲ) - in sapientia et prudentia tua fecisti tibi fortitudinem,/ et acquisisti aurum et argentum in thesauris tuis :/ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃28 בחכמתך ובתבונתך עשית לך חיל ותעש זהב וכסף באוצרותיך (Ⅴ)

By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
- Par ta grande sagesse et par ton commerce Tu as accru tes richesses, Et par tes richesses ton coeur s'est élevé. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τη̨̃ πολλη̨̃ ἐπιστήμη̨ σου καὶ ἐμπορία̨ σου ἐπλήθυνας δύναμίν σου ὑψώθη ἡ καρδία σου ἐν τη̨̃ δυνάμει σου (Ⅲ) - in multitudine sapientiæ tuæ,/ et in negotiatione tua multiplicasti tibi fortitudinem,/ et elevatum est cor tuum in robore tuo :/ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃28 ברב חכמתך ברכלתך הרבית חילך ויגבה לבבך בחילך ס (Ⅴ)

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
- C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Parce que tu prends ta volonté pour la volonté de Dieu, (Ⅱ) - διὰ του̃το τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπειδὴ δέδωκας τὴν καρδίαν σου ὡς καρδίαν θεου̃ (Ⅲ) - propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Eo quod elevatum est cor tuum quasi cor dei,/ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃28 לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה יען תתך את לבבך כלב אלהים (Ⅴ)

Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
- Voici, je ferai venir contre toi des étrangers, Les plus violents d'entre les peuples; Ils tireront l'épée contre ton éclatante sagesse, Et ils souilleront ta beauté. (Ⅱ) - ἀντὶ τούτου ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ σὲ ἀλλοτρίους λοιμοὺς ἀπὸ ἐθνω̃ν καὶ ἐκκενώσουσιν τὰς μαχαίρας αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ κάλλος τη̃ς ἐπιστήμης σου καὶ στρώσουσιν τὸ κάλλος σου εἰς ἀπώλειαν (Ⅲ) - idcirco ecce ego adducam super te alienos,/ robustissimos gentium :/ et nudabunt gladios suos super pulchritudinem sapientiæ tuæ,/ et polluent decorem tuum./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃28 לכן הנני מביא עליך זרים עריצי גוים והריקו חרבותם על יפי חכמתך וחללו יפעתך (Ⅴ)

They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
- Ils te précipiteront dans la fosse, Et tu mourras comme ceux qui tombent percés de coups, Au milieu des mers. (Ⅱ) - καὶ καταβιβάσουσίν σε καὶ ἀποθανη̨̃ θανάτω̨ τραυματιω̃ν ἐν καρδία̨ θαλάσσης (Ⅲ) - Interficient, et detrahent te :/ et morieris in interitu occisorum in corde maris./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃28 לשחת יורדוך ומתה ממותי חלל בלב ימים (Ⅴ)

Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
- En face de ton meurtrier, diras-tu: Je suis Dieu? Tu seras homme et non Dieu Sous la main de celui qui te tuera. (Ⅱ) - μὴ λέγων ἐρει̃ς θεός εἰμι ἐγώ ἐνώπιον τω̃ν ἀναιρούντων σε σὺ δὲ εἰ̃ ἄνθρωπος καὶ οὐ θεός ἐν πλήθει (Ⅲ) - Numquid dicens loqueris : Deus ego sum,/ coram interficientibus te,/ cum sis homo, et non deus,/ in manu occidentium te ?/ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃28 האמר תאמר אלהים אני לפני הרגך ואתה אדם ולא אל ביד מחלליך (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
- Tu mourras de la mort des incirconcis, Par la main des étrangers. Car moi, j'ai parlé, Dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - ἀπεριτμήτων ἀπολη̨̃ ἐν χερσὶν ἀλλοτρίων ὅτι ἐγὼ ἐλάλησα λέγει κύριος (Ⅲ) - Morte incircumcisorum morieris in manu alienorum,/ quia ego locutus sum, ait Dominus Deus.]\ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃28 מותי ערלים תמות ביד זרים כי אני דברתי נאם אדני יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
- Fils de l'homme, Prononce une complainte sur le roi de Tyr! Tu lui diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Tu mettais le sceau à la perfection, Tu étais plein de sagesse, parfait en beauté. (Ⅱ) - υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου λαβὲ θρη̃νον ἐπὶ τὸν ἄρχοντα Τύρου καὶ εἰπὸν αὐτω̨̃ τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος σὺ ἀποσφράγισμα ὁμοιώσεως καὶ στέφανος κάλλους (Ⅲ) - et dices ei : [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Tu signaculum similitudinis,/ plenus sapientia, et perfectus decore./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃28 בן אדם שא קינה על מלך צור ואמרת לו כה אמר אדני יהוה אתה חותם תכנית מלא חכמה וכליל יפי (Ⅴ)

Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
- Tu étais en Éden, le jardin de Dieu; Tu étais couvert de toute espèce de pierres précieuses, De sardoine, de topaze, de diamant, De chrysolithe, d'onyx, de jaspe, De saphir, d'escarboucle, d'émeraude, et d'or; Tes tambourins et tes flûtes étaient à ton service, Préparés pour le jour où tu fus créé. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τη̨̃ τρυφη̨̃ του̃ παραδείσου του̃ θεου̃ ἐγενήθης πα̃ν λίθον χρηστὸν ἐνδέδεσαι σάρδιον καὶ τοπάζιον καὶ σμάραγδον καὶ ἄνθρακα καὶ σάπφειρον καὶ ἴασπιν καὶ ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον καὶ λιγύριον καὶ ἀχάτην καὶ ἀμέθυστον καὶ χρυσόλιθον καὶ βηρύλλιον καὶ ὀνύχιον καὶ χρυσίου ἐνέπλησας τοὺς θησαυρούς σου καὶ τὰς ἀποθήκας σου ἐν σοὶ ἀφ' ἡ̃ς ἡμέρας ἐκτίσθης σύ (Ⅲ) - In deliciis paradisi Dei fuisti :/ omnis lapis pretiosus operimentum tuum,/ sardius, topazius, et jaspis,/ chrysolithus, et onyx, et beryllus,/ sapphirus, et carbunculus, et smaragdus :/ aurum, opus decoris tui :/ et foramina tua, in die qua conditus es, præparata sunt./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃28 בעדן גן אלהים היית כל אבן יקרה מסכתך אדם פטדה ויהלם תרשיש שהם וישפה ספיר נפך וברקת וזהב מלאכת תפיך ונקביך בך ביום הבראך כוננו (Ⅴ)

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
- Tu étais un chérubin protecteur, aux ailes déployées; Je t'avais placé et tu étais sur la sainte montagne de Dieu; Tu marchais au milieu des pierres étincelantes. (Ⅱ) - μετὰ του̃ χερουβ ἔθηκά σε ἐν ὄρει ἁγίω̨ θεου̃ ἐγενήθης ἐν μέσω̨ λίθων πυρίνων (Ⅲ) - Tu cherub extentus, et protegens,/ et posui te in monte sancto Dei :/ in medio lapidum ignitorum ambulasti,/ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃28 את כרוב ממשח הסוכך ונתתיך בהר קדש אלהים היית בתוך אבני אש התהלכת (Ⅴ)

Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
- Tu as été intègre dans tes voies, Depuis le jour où tu fus créé Jusqu'à celui où l'iniquité a été trouvée chez toi. (Ⅱ) - ἐγενήθης ἄμωμος σὺ ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις σου ἀφ' ἡ̃ς ἡμέρας σὺ ἐκτίσθης ἕως εὑρέθη τὰ ἀδικήματα ἐν σοί (Ⅲ) - perfectus in viis tuis a die conditionis tuæ,/ donec inventa est iniquitas in te./ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃28 תמים אתה בדרכיך מיום הבראך עד נמצא עולתה בך (Ⅴ)

By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
- Par la grandeur de ton commerce Tu as été rempli de violence, et tu as péché; Je te précipite de la montagne de Dieu, Et je te fais disparaître, chérubin protecteur, Du milieu des pierres étincelantes. (Ⅱ) - ἀπὸ πλήθους τη̃ς ἐμπορίας σου ἔπλησας τὰ ταμίειά σου ἀνομίας καὶ ἥμαρτες καὶ ἐτραυματίσθης ἀπὸ ὄρους του̃ θεου̃ καὶ ἤγαγέν σε τὸ χερουβ ἐκ μέσου λίθων πυρίνων (Ⅲ) - In multitudine negotiationis tuæ/ repleta sunt interiora tua iniquitate, et peccasti :/ et ejeci te de monte Dei,/ et perdidi te, o cherub protegens, de medio lapidum ignitorum./ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃28 ברב רכלתך מלו תוכך חמס ותחטא ואחללך מהר אלהים ואבדך כרוב הסכך מתוך אבני אש (Ⅴ)

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
- Ton coeur s'est élevé à cause de ta beauté, Tu as corrompu ta sagesse par ton éclat; Je te jette par terre, Je te livre en spectacle aux rois. (Ⅱ) - ὑψώθη ἡ καρδία σου ἐπὶ τω̨̃ κάλλει σου διεφθάρη ἡ ἐπιστήμη σου μετὰ του̃ κάλλους σου διὰ πλη̃θος ἁμαρτιω̃ν σου ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν ἔρριψά σε ἐναντίον βασιλέων ἔδωκά σε παραδειγματισθη̃ναι (Ⅲ) - Et elevatum est cor tuum in decore tuo ;/ perdidisti sapientiam tuam in decore tuo :/ in terram projeci te ;/ ante faciem regum dedi te ut cernerent te./ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃28 גבה לבך ביפיך שחת חכמתך על יפעתך על ארץ השלכתיך לפני מלכים נתתיך לראוה בך (Ⅴ)

Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
- Par la multitude de tes iniquités, Par l'injustice de ton commerce, Tu as profané tes sanctuaires; Je fais sortir du milieu de toi un feu qui te dévore, Je te réduis en cendre sur la terre, Aux yeux de tous ceux qui te regardent. (Ⅱ) - διὰ τὸ πλη̃θος τω̃ν ἁμαρτιω̃ν σου καὶ τω̃ν ἀδικιω̃ν τη̃ς ἐμπορίας σου ἐβεβήλωσας τὰ ἱερά σου καὶ ἐξάξω πυ̃ρ ἐκ μέσου σου του̃το καταφάγεταί σε καὶ δώσω σε εἰς σποδὸν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς σου ἐναντίον πάντων τω̃ν ὁρώντων σε (Ⅲ) - In multitudine iniquitatum tuarum,/ et iniquitate negotiationis tuæ,/ polluisti sanctificationem tuam :/ producam ergo ignem de medio tui, qui comedat te,/ et dabo te in cinerem super terram,/ in conspectu omnium videntium te./ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃28 מרב עוניך בעול רכלתך חללת מקדשיך ואוצא אש מתוכך היא אכלתך ואתנך לאפר על הארץ לעיני כל ראיך (Ⅴ)

All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
- Tous ceux qui te connaissent parmi les peuples Sont dans la stupeur à cause de toi; Tu es réduit au néant, tu ne seras plus à jamais! (Ⅱ) - καὶ πάντες οἱ ἐπιστάμενοί σε ἐν τοι̃ς ἔθνεσιν στυγνάσουσιν ἐπὶ σέ ἀπώλεια ἐγένου καὶ οὐχ ὑπάρξεις ἔτι εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να (Ⅲ) - Omnes qui viderint te in gentibus, obstupescent super te :/ nihili factus es, et non eris in perpetuum.]\ (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃28 כל יודעיך בעמים שממו עליך בלהות היית ואינך עד עולם פ (Ⅴ)

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
- La parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (Ⅲ) - Et factus est sermo Domini ad me, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃28 ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר (Ⅴ)

Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,
- Fils de l'homme, tourne ta face vers Sidon, Et prophétise contre elle! (Ⅱ) - υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στήρισον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ Σιδω̃να καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπ' αὐτὴν (Ⅲ) - Fili hominis, pone faciem tuam contra Sidonem, et prophetabis de ea : (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃28 בן אדם שים פניך אל צידון והנבא עליה (Ⅴ)

And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
- Tu diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici, j'en veux à toi, Sidon! Je serai glorifié au milieu de toi; Et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel, Quand j'exercerai mes jugements contre elle, Quand je manifesterai ma sainteté au milieu d'elle. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σέ Σιδών καὶ ἐνδοξασθήσομαι ἐν σοί καὶ γνώση̨ ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐν τω̨̃ ποιη̃σαί με ἐν σοὶ κρίματα καὶ ἁγιασθήσομαι ἐν σοί (Ⅲ) - et dices : [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Ecce ego ad te, Sidon,/ et glorificabor in medio tui :/ et scient quia ego Dominus,/ cum fecero in ea judicia,/ et sanctificatus fuero in ea./ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃28 ואמרת כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני עליך צידון ונכבדתי בתוכך וידעו כי אני יהוה בעשותי בה שפטים ונקדשתי בה (Ⅴ)

For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
- J'enverrai la peste dans son sein, Je ferai couler le sang dans ses rues; Les morts tomberont au milieu d'elle Par l'épée qui de toutes parts viendra la frapper. Et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - αἱ̃μα καὶ θάνατος ἐν ται̃ς πλατείαις σου καὶ πεσου̃νται τετραυματισμένοι ἐν μαχαίραις ἐν σοὶ περικύκλω̨ σου καὶ γνώσονται διότι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (Ⅲ) - Et immittam ei pestilentiam,/ et sanguinem in plateis ejus :/ et corruent interfecti in medio ejus gladio per circuitum,/ et scient quia ego Dominus./ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃28 ושלחתי בה דבר ודם בחוצותיה ונפלל חלל בתוכה בחרב עליה מסביב וידעו כי אני יהוה (Ⅴ)

And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
- Alors elle ne sera plus pour la maison d'Israël Une épine qui blesse, une ronce déchirante, Parmi tous ceux qui l'entourent et qui la méprisent. Et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται οὐκέτι τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ του̃ Ισραηλ σκόλοψ πικρίας καὶ ἄκανθα ὀδύνης ἀπὸ πάντων τω̃ν περικύκλω̨ αὐτω̃ν τω̃ν ἀτιμασάντων αὐτούς καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (Ⅲ) - Et non erit ultra domui Israël offendiculum amaritudinis,/ et spina dolorem inferens undique/ per circuitum eorum qui adversantur eis :/ et scient quia ego Dominus Deus./ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃28 ולא יהיה עוד לבית ישראל סלון ממאיר וקוץ מכאב מכל סביבתם השאטים אותם וידעו כי אני אדני יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
- Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Lorsque je rassemblerai la maison d'Israël du milieu des peuples où elle est dispersée, je manifesterai en elle ma sainteté aux yeux des nations, et ils habiteront leur pays que j'ai donné à mon serviteur Jacob. (Ⅱ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος καὶ συνάξω τὸν Ισραηλ ἐκ τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν οὑ̃ διεσκορπίσθησαν ἐκει̃ καὶ ἁγιασθήσομαι ἐν αὐτοι̃ς ἐνώπιον τω̃ν λαω̃ν καὶ τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς αὐτω̃ν ἣν δέδωκα τω̨̃ δούλω̨ μου Ιακωβ (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Quando congregavero domum Israël/ de populis in quibus dispersi sunt,/ sanctificabor in eis coram gentibus :/ et habitabunt in terra sua,/ quam dedi servo meo Jacob :/ (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃28 כה אמר אדני יהוה בקבצי את בית ישראל מן העמים אשר נפצו בם ונקדשתי בם לעיני הגוים וישבו על אדמתם אשר נתתי לעבדי ליעקב (Ⅴ)

And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
- Ils y habiteront en sécurité, et ils bâtiront des maisons et planteront des vignes; ils y habiteront en sécurité, quand j'exercerai mes jugements contre tous ceux qui les entourent et qui les méprisent. Et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel, leur Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐπ' αὐτη̃ς ἐν ἐλπίδι καὶ οἰκοδομήσουσιν οἰκίας καὶ φυτεύσουσιν ἀμπελω̃νας καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐν ἐλπίδι ὅταν ποιήσω κρίμα ἐν πα̃σιν τοι̃ς ἀτιμάσασιν αὐτοὺς ἐν τοι̃ς κύκλω̨ αὐτω̃ν καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτω̃ν καὶ ὁ θεὸς τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - et habitabunt in ea securi,/ et ædificabunt domos, et plantabunt vineas,/ et habitabunt confidenter,/ cum fecero judicia in omnibus qui adversantur eis per circuitum :/ et scient quia ego Dominus Deus eorum.] (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃28 וישבו עליה לבטח ובנו בתים ונטעו כרמים וישבו לבטח בעשותי שפטים בכל השאטים אתם מסביבותם וידעו כי אני יהוה אלהיהם ס (Ⅴ)
