Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
- Ézéchias devint roi à l'âge de vingt-cinq ans, et il régna vingt-neuf ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Abija, fille de Zacharie. (Ⅱ) - καὶ Εζεκιας ἐβασίλευσεν ὢν εἴκοσι καὶ πέντε ἐτω̃ν καὶ εἴκοσι καὶ ἐννέα ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ Αββα θυγάτηρ Ζαχαρια (Ⅲ) - Igitur Ezechias regnare cœpit, cum viginti quinque esset annorum, et viginti novem annis regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus Abia filia Zachariæ. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.
- Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, entièrement comme avait fait David, son père. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ εὐθὲς ἐνώπιον κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν Δαυιδ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Fecitque quod erat placitum in conspectu Domini, juxta omnia quæ fecerat David pater ejus. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃29 ויעש הישר בעיני יהוה ככל אשר עשה דויד אביו (Ⅴ)

He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.
- La première année de son règne, au premier mois, il ouvrit les portes de la maison de l'Éternel, et il les répara. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἔστη ἐπὶ τη̃ς βασιλείας αὐτου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ πρώτω̨ μηνὶ ἀνέω̨ξεν τὰς θύρας οἴκου κυρίου καὶ ἐπεσκεύασεν αὐτάς (Ⅲ) - Ipse, anno et mense primo regni sui, aperuit valvas domus Domini, et instauravit eas. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃29 הוא בשנה הראשונה למלכו בחדש הראשון פתח את דלתות בית יהוה ויחזקם (Ⅴ)

And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street,
- Il fit venir les sacrificateurs et les Lévites, qu'il assembla dans la place orientale, (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰσήγαγεν τοὺς ἱερει̃ς καὶ τοὺς Λευίτας καὶ κατέστησεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς (Ⅲ) - Adduxitque sacerdotes atque Levitas, et congregavit eos in plateam orientalem. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃29 ויבא את הכהנים ואת הלוים ויאספם לרחוב המזרח (Ⅴ)

And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.
- et il leur dit: Écoutez-moi, Lévites! Maintenant sanctifiez-vous, sanctifiez la maison de l'Éternel, le Dieu de vos pères, et mettez ce qui est impur hors du sanctuaire. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς ἀκούσατε οἱ Λευι̃ται νυ̃ν ἁγνίσθητε καὶ ἁγνίσατε τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου θεου̃ τω̃ν πατέρων ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἐκβάλετε τὴν ἀκαθαρσίαν ἐκ τω̃ν ἁγίων (Ⅲ) - Dixitque ad eos : Audite me, Levitæ, et sanctificamini : mundate domum Domini Dei patrum vestrorum, et auferte omnem immunditiam de sanctuario. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃29 ויאמר להם שמעוני הלוים עתה התקדשו וקדשו את בית יהוה אלהי אבתיכם והוציאו את הנדה מן הקדש (Ⅴ)

For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
- Car nos pères ont péché, ils ont fait ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, ils l'ont abandonné, ils ont détourné leurs regards du tabernacle de l'Éternel et lui ont tourné le dos. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ἀπέστησαν οἱ πατέρες ἡμω̃ν καὶ ἐποίησαν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου καὶ ἐγκατέλιπαν αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπέστρεψαν τὸ πρόσωπον ἀπὸ τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς κυρίου καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐχένα (Ⅲ) - Peccaverunt patres nostri, et fecerunt malum in conspectu Domini Dei nostri, derelinquentes eum : averterunt facies suas a tabernaculo Domini, et præbuerunt dorsum. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃29 כי מעלו אבתינו ועשו הרע בעיני יהוה אלהינו ויעזבהו ויסבו פניהם ממשכן יהוה ויתנו ערף (Ⅴ)

Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.
- Ils ont même fermé les portes du portique et éteint les lampes, et ils n'ont offert au Dieu d'Israël ni parfums ni holocaustes dans le sanctuaire. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπέκλεισαν τὰς θύρας του̃ ναου̃ καὶ ἔσβεσαν τοὺς λύχνους καὶ θυμίαμα οὐκ ἐθυμίασαν καὶ ὁλοκαυτώματα οὐ προσήνεγκαν ἐν τω̨̃ ἁγίω̨ θεω̨̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Clauserunt ostia quæ erant in porticu, et extinxerunt lucernas, incensumque non adoleverunt, et holocausta non obtulerunt in sanctuario Deo Israël. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃29 גם סגרו דלתות האולם ויכבו את הנרות וקטרת לא הקטירו ועלה לא העלו בקדש לאלהי ישראל (Ⅴ)

Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes.
- Aussi la colère de l'Éternel a été sur Juda et sur Jérusalem, et il les a livrés au trouble, à la désolation et à la moquerie, comme vous le voyez de vos yeux. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὠργίσθη ὀργη̨̃ κύριος ἐπὶ τὸν Ιουδαν καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοὺς εἰς ἔκστασιν καὶ εἰς ἀφανισμὸν καὶ εἰς συρισμόν ὡς ὑμει̃ς ὁρα̃τε τοι̃ς ὀφθαλμοι̃ς ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Concitatus est itaque furor Domini super Judam et Jerusalem, tradiditque eos in commotionem, et in interitum, et in sibilum, sicut ipsi cernitis oculis vestris. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃29 ויהי קצף יהוה על יהודה וירושלם ויתנם *לזועה **לזעוה לשמה ולשרקה כאשר אתם ראים בעיניכם (Ⅴ)

For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
- Et voici, à cause de cela nos pères sont tombés par l'épée, et nos fils, nos filles et nos femmes sont en captivité. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἰδοὺ πεπλήγασιν οἱ πατέρες ὑμω̃ν μαχαίρα̨ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ ὑμω̃ν καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες ὑμω̃ν καὶ αἱ γυναι̃κες ὑμω̃ν ἐν αἰχμαλωσία̨ ἐν γη̨̃ οὐκ αὐτω̃ν ὃ καὶ νυ̃ν ἐστιν (Ⅲ) - En corruerunt patres nostri gladiis : filii nostri, et filiæ nostræ, et conjuges captivæ ductæ sunt propter hoc scelus. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃29 והנה נפלו אבותינו בחרב ובנינו ובנותינו ונשינו בשבי על זאת (Ⅴ)

Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.
- J'ai donc l'intention de faire alliance avec l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, pour que son ardente colère se détourne de nous. (Ⅱ) - ἐπὶ τούτοις νυ̃ν ἐστιν ἐπὶ καρδίας διαθέσθαι διαθήκην κυρίου θεου̃ Ισραηλ καὶ ἀποστρέψει τὴν ὀργὴν θυμου̃ αὐτου̃ ἀφ' ἡμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Nunc ergo placet mihi ut ineamus fœdus cum Domino Deo Israël, et avertet a nobis furorem iræ suæ. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃29 עתה עם לבבי לכרות ברית ליהוה אלהי ישראל וישב ממנו חרון אפו (Ⅴ)

My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.
- Maintenant, mes fils, cessez d'être négligents; car vous avez été choisis par l'Éternel pour vous tenir à son service devant lui, pour être ses serviteurs, et pour lui offrir des parfums. (Ⅱ) - καὶ νυ̃ν μὴ διαλίπητε ὅτι ἐν ὑμι̃ν ἡ̨ρέτικεν κύριος στη̃ναι ἐναντίον αὐτου̃ λειτουργει̃ν καὶ εἰ̃ναι αὐτω̨̃ λειτουργου̃ντας καὶ θυμιω̃ντας (Ⅲ) - Filii mei, nolite negligere : vos elegit Dominus ut stetis coram eo, et ministretis illi, colatisque eum, et cremetis ei incensum.\ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃29 בני עתה אל תשלו כי בכם בחר יהוה לעמד לפניו לשרתו ולהיות לו משרתים ומקטרים ס (Ⅴ)

Then the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehalelel: and of the Gershonites; Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:
- Et les Lévites se levèrent: Machath, fils d'Amasaï, Joël, fils d'Azaria, des fils des Kehathites; et des fils des Merarites, Kis, fils d'Abdi, Azaria, fils de Jehalléleel; et des Guerschonites, Joach, fils de Zimma, Éden, fils de Joach; (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνέστησαν οἱ Λευι̃ται Μααθ ὁ του̃ Αμασι καὶ Ιωηλ ὁ του̃ Αζαριου ἐκ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Κααθ καὶ ἐκ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Μεραρι Κις ὁ του̃ Αβδι καὶ Αζαριας ὁ του̃ Ιαλλεληλ καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Γεδσωνι Ιωα ὁ του̃ Ζεμμαθ καὶ Ιωδαν ὁ του̃ Ιωαχα (Ⅲ) - Surrexerunt ergo Levitæ : Mahath filius Amasai, et Joël filius Azariæ de filiis Caath : porro de filiis Merari, Cis filius Abdi, et Azarias filius Jalaleel. De filiis autem Gersom, Joah filius Zemma, et Eden filius Joah. And of the sons of Elizaphan; Shimri, and Jeiel: and of the sons of Asaph; Zechariah, and Mattaniah:
- et des fils d'Élitsaphan, Schimri et Jeïel; et des fils d'Asaph, Zacharie et Matthania; (Ⅱ) - καὶ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ελισαφαν Σαμβρι καὶ Ιιηλ καὶ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ασαφ Ζαχαριας καὶ Μαθθανιας (Ⅲ) - At vero de filiis Elisaphan, Samri, et Jahiel. De filiis quoque Asaph, Zacharias, et Mathanias : (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃29 ומן בני אליצפן שמרי *ויעואל **ויעיאל ומן בני אסף זכריהו ומתניהו ס (Ⅴ)

And of the sons of Heman; Jehiel, and Shimei: and of the sons of Jeduthun; Shemaiah, and Uzziel.
- et des fils d'Héman, Jehiel et Schimeï; et des fils de Jeduthun, Schemaeja et Uzziel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Αιμαν Ιιηλ καὶ Σεμεϊ καὶ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ιδιθων Σαμαιας καὶ Οζιηλ (Ⅲ) - necnon de filiis Heman, Jahiel, et Semei : sed et de filiis Idithun, Semeias, et Oziel. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃29 ומן בני הימן *יחואל **יחיאל ושמעי סומן בני ידותון שמעיה ועזיאל (Ⅴ)

And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and came, according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.
- Ils réunirent leurs frères, et, après s'être sanctifiés, ils vinrent pour purifier la maison de l'Éternel, selon l'ordre du roi et d'après les paroles de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ συνήγαγον τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἡγνίσθησαν κατὰ τὴν ἐντολὴν του̃ βασιλέως διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου καθαρίσαι τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Congregaveruntque fratres suos, et sanctificati sunt, et ingressi sunt juxta mandatum regis et imperium Domini, ut expiarent domum Dei. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃29 ויאספו את אחיהם ויתקדשו ויבאו כמצות המלך בדברי יהוה לטהר בית יהוה (Ⅴ)

And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.
- Les sacrificateurs entrèrent dans l'intérieur de la maison de l'Éternel pour la purifier; ils sortirent toutes les impuretés qu'ils trouvèrent dans le temple de l'Éternel et les mirent dans le parvis de la maison de l'Éternel, où les Lévites les reçurent pour les emporter dehors au torrent de Cédron. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰση̃λθον οἱ ἱερει̃ς ἔσω εἰς τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου ἁγνίσαι καὶ ἐξέβαλον πα̃σαν τὴν ἀκαθαρσίαν τὴν εὑρεθει̃σαν ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ κυρίου καὶ εἰς τὴν αὐλὴν οἴκου κυρίου καὶ ἐδέξαντο οἱ Λευι̃ται ἐκβαλει̃ν εἰς τὸν χειμάρρουν Κεδρων ἔξω (Ⅲ) - Sacerdotes quoque ingressi templum Domini ut sanctificarent illud, extulerunt omnem immunditiam quam intro repererant in vestibulo domus Domini : quam tulerunt Levitæ, et asportaverunt ad torrentem Cedron foras. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃29 ויבאו הכהנים לפנימה בית יהוה לטהר ויוציאו את כל הטמאה אשר מצאו בהיכל יהוה לחצר בית יהוה ויקבלו הלוים להוציא לנחל קדרון חוצה (Ⅴ)

Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD: so they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.
- Ils commencèrent ces purifications le premier jour du premier mois; le huitième jour du mois, ils entrèrent dans le portique de l'Éternel, et ils mirent huit jours à purifier la maison de l'Éternel; le seizième jour du premier mois, ils avaient achevé. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἤρξαντο τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ πρώτη̨ νουμηνία̨ του̃ μηνὸς του̃ πρώτου ἁγνίσαι καὶ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ ὀγδόη̨ του̃ μηνὸς εἰση̃λθαν εἰς τὸν ναὸν κυρίου καὶ ἥγνισαν τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου ἐν ἡμέραις ὀκτὼ καὶ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ ἑκκαιδεκάτη̨ του̃ μηνὸς του̃ πρώτου συνετέλεσαν (Ⅲ) - Cœperunt autem prima die mensis primi mundare, et in die octavo ejusdem mensis ingressi sunt porticum templi Domini, expiaveruntque templum diebus octo, et in die sextadecima mensis ejusdem, quod cœperant, impleverunt. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃29 ויחלו באחד לחדש הראשון לקדש וביום שמונה לחדש באו לאולם יהוה ויקדשו את בית יהוה לימים שמונה וביום ששה עשר לחדש הראשון כלו ס (Ⅴ)

Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof.
- Ils se rendirent ensuite chez le roi Ézéchias, et dirent: Nous avons purifié toute la maison de l'Éternel, l'autel des holocaustes et tous ses ustensiles, et la table des pains de proposition et tous ses ustensiles. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰση̃λθαν ἔσω πρὸς Εζεκιαν τὸν βασιλέα καὶ εἰ̃παν ἡγνίσαμεν πάντα τὰ ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου τὸ θυσιαστήριον τη̃ς ὁλοκαυτώσεως καὶ τὰ σκεύη αὐτου̃ καὶ τὴν τράπεζαν τη̃ς προθέσεως καὶ τὰ σκεύη αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Ingressi quoque sunt ad Ezechiam regem, et dixerunt ei : Sanctificavimus omnem domum Domini, et altare holocausti, vasaque ejus, necnon et mensam propositionis cum omnibus vasis suis, (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃29 ויבואו פנימה אל חזקיהו המלך ויאמרו טהרנו את כל בית יהוה את מזבח העולה ואת כל כליו ואת שלחן המערכת ואת כל כליו (Ⅴ)

Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.
- Nous avons remis en état et purifié tous les ustensiles que le roi Achaz avait profanés pendant son règne, lors de ses transgressions: ils sont devant l'autel de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη ἃ ἐμίανεν Αχαζ ὁ βασιλεὺς ἐν τη̨̃ βασιλεία̨ αὐτου̃ ἐν τη̨̃ ἀποστασία̨ αὐτου̃ ἡτοιμάκαμεν καὶ ἡγνίκαμεν ἰδού ἐστιν ἐναντίον του̃ θυσιαστηρίου κυρίου (Ⅲ) - cunctamque templi supellectilem, quam polluerat rex Achaz in regno suo, postquam prævaricatus est : et ecce exposita sunt omnia coram altare Domini.\ (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃29 ואת כל הכלים אשר הזניח המלך אחז במלכותו במעלו הכנו והקדשנו והנם לפני מזבח יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

Then Hezekiah the king rose early, and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.
- Le roi Ézéchias se leva de bon matin, assembla les chefs de la ville, et monta à la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὤρθρισεν Εζεκιας ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ συνήγαγεν τοὺς ἄρχοντας τη̃ς πόλεως καὶ ἀνέβη εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Consurgensque diluculo Ezechias rex, adunavit omnes principes civitatis, et ascendit in domum Domini : (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃29 וישכם יחזקיהו המלך ויאסף את שרי העיר ויעל בית יהוה (Ⅴ)

And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the LORD.
- Ils offrirent sept taureaux, sept béliers, sept agneaux et sept boucs, en sacrifice d'expiation pour le royaume, pour le sanctuaire, et pour Juda. Le roi ordonna aux sacrificateurs, fils d'Aaron, de les offrir sur l'autel de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν μόσχους ἑπτά κριοὺς ἑπτά ἀμνοὺς ἑπτά χιμάρους αἰγω̃ν ἑπτὰ περὶ ἁμαρτίας περὶ τη̃ς βασιλείας καὶ περὶ τω̃ν ἁγίων καὶ περὶ Ισραηλ καὶ εἰ̃πεν τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ααρων τοι̃ς ἱερευ̃σιν ἀναβαίνειν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κυρίου (Ⅲ) - obtuleruntque simul tauros septem, et arietes septem, agnos septem, et hircos septem pro peccato, pro regno, pro sanctuario, pro Juda : dixitque sacerdotibus filiis Aaron, ut offerrent super altare Domini. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃29 ויביאו פרים שבעה ואילים שבעה וכבשים שבעה וצפירי עזים שבעה לחטאת על הממלכה ועל המקדש ועל יהודה ויאמר לבני אהרן הכהנים להעלות על מזבח יהוה (Ⅴ)

So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.
- Les sacrificateurs égorgèrent les boeufs, et reçurent le sang, qu'ils répandirent sur l'autel; ils égorgèrent les béliers, et répandirent le sang sur l'autel; ils égorgèrent les agneaux, et répandirent le sang sur l'autel. And they brought forth the he goats for the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them:
- On amena ensuite les boucs expiatoires devant le roi et devant l'assemblée, qui posèrent leurs mains sur eux. (Ⅱ) - καὶ προσήγαγον τοὺς χιμάρους τοὺς περὶ ἁμαρτίας ἐναντίον του̃ βασιλέως καὶ τη̃ς ἐκκλησίας καὶ ἐπέθηκαν τὰς χει̃ρας αὐτω̃ν ἐπ' αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Applicuerunt hircos pro peccato coram rege, et universa multitudine, imposueruntque manus suas super eos : (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃29 ויגישו את שעירי החטאת לפני המלך והקהל ויסמכו ידיהם עליהם (Ⅴ)

And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
- Les sacrificateurs les égorgèrent, et répandirent leur sang au pied de l'autel en expiation pour les péchés de tout Israël; car c'était pour tout Israël que le roi avait ordonné l'holocauste et le sacrifice d'expiation. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔθυσαν αὐτοὺς οἱ ἱερει̃ς καὶ ἐξιλάσαντο τὸ αἱ̃μα αὐτω̃ν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἐξιλάσαντο περὶ παντὸς Ισραηλ ὅτι περὶ παντὸς Ισραηλ εἰ̃πεν ὁ βασιλεύς ἡ ὁλοκαύτωσις καὶ τὰ περὶ ἁμαρτίας (Ⅲ) - et immolaverunt illos sacerdotes, et asperserunt sanguinem eorum coram altare pro piaculo universi Israëlis : pro omni quippe Israël præceperat rex ut holocaustum fieret, et pro peccato. (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃29 וישחטום הכהנים ויחטאו את דמם המזבחה לכפר על כל ישראל כי לכל ישראל אמר המלך העולה והחטאת (Ⅴ)

And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet: for so was the commandment of the LORD by his prophets.
- Il fit placer les Lévites dans la maison de l'Éternel avec des cymbales, des luths et des harpes, selon l'ordre de David, de Gad le voyant du roi, et de Nathan, le prophète; car c'était un ordre de l'Éternel, transmis par ses prophètes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔστησεν τοὺς Λευίτας ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κινύραις κατὰ τὴν ἐντολὴν Δαυιδ του̃ βασιλέως καὶ Γαδ του̃ ὁρω̃ντος τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ καὶ Ναθαν του̃ προφήτου ὅτι δι' ἐντολη̃ς κυρίου τὸ πρόσταγμα ἐν χειρὶ τω̃ν προφητω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Constituit quoque Levitas in domo Domini cum cymbalis, et psalteriis, et citharis secundum dispositionem David regis, et Gad videntis, et Nathan prophetæ : siquidem Domini præceptum fuit per manum prophetarum ejus. (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃29 ויעמד את הלוים בית יהוה במצלתים בנבלים ובכנרות במצות דויד וגד חזה המלך ונתן הנביא כי ביד יהוה המצוה ביד נביאיו ס (Ⅴ)

And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.
- Les Lévites prirent place avec les instruments de David, et les sacrificateurs avec les trompettes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔστησαν οἱ Λευι̃ται ἐν ὀργάνοις Δαυιδ καὶ οἱ ἱερει̃ς ται̃ς σάλπιγξιν (Ⅲ) - Steteruntque Levitæ tenentes organa David, et sacerdotes tubas. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃29 ויעמדו הלוים בכלי דויד והכהנים בחצצרות ס (Ⅴ)

And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.
- Ézéchias ordonna d'offrir l'holocauste sur l'autel; et au moment où commença l'holocauste, commença aussi le chant de l'Éternel, au son des trompettes et avec accompagnement des instruments de David, roi d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Εζεκιας ἀνενέγκαι τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ ἄρξασθαι ἀναφέρειν τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν ἤρξαντο ἄ̨δειν κυρίω̨ καὶ αἱ σάλπιγγες πρὸς τὰ ὄργανα Δαυιδ βασιλέως Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Et jussit Ezechias ut offerrent holocausta super altare : cumque offerrentur holocausta, cœperunt laudes canere Domino, et clangere tubis, atque in diversis organis quæ David rex Israël præparaverat, concrepare. (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃29 ויאמר חזקיהו להעלות העלה להמזבח ובעת החל העולה החל שיר יהוה והחצצרות ועל ידי כלי דויד מלך ישראל (Ⅴ)

And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
- Toute l'assemblée se prosterna, on chanta le cantique, et l'on sonna des trompettes, le tout jusqu'à ce que l'holocauste fût achevé. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πα̃σα ἡ ἐκκλησία προσεκύνει καὶ οἱ ψαλτω̨δοὶ ἄ̨δοντες καὶ αἱ σάλπιγγες σαλπίζουσαι ἕως οὑ̃ συνετελέσθη ἡ ὁλοκαύτωσις (Ⅲ) - Omni autem turba adorante, cantores, et ii qui tenebant tubas, erant in officio suo donec compleretur holocaustum. (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃29 וכל הקהל משתחוים והשיר משורר והחצצרות *מחצצרים **מחצרים[y] הכל עד לכלות העלה (Ⅴ)

And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.
- Et quand on eut achevé d'offrir l'holocauste, le roi et tous ceux qui étaient avec lui fléchirent le genou et se prosternèrent. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὡς συνετέλεσαν ἀναφέροντες ἔκαμψεν ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ πάντες οἱ εὑρεθέντες καὶ προσεκύνησαν (Ⅲ) - Cumque finita esset oblatio, incurvatus est rex, et omnes qui erant cum eo, et adoraverunt. (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃29 וככלות להעלות כרעו המלך וכל הנמצאים אתו וישתחוו (Ⅴ)

Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.
- Puis le roi Ézéchias et les chefs dirent aux Lévites de célébrer l'Éternel avec les paroles de David et du prophète Asaph; et ils le célébrèrent avec des transports de joie, et ils s'inclinèrent et se prosternèrent. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Εζεκιας ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τοι̃ς Λευίταις ὑμνει̃ν τὸν κύριον ἐν λόγοις Δαυιδ καὶ Ασαφ του̃ προφήτου καὶ ὕμνουν ἐν εὐφροσύνη̨ καὶ ἔπεσον καὶ προσεκύνησαν (Ⅲ) - Præcepitque Ezechias et principes Levitis, ut laudarent Dominum sermonibus David, et Asaph videntis : qui laudaverunt eum magna lætitia, et incurvato genu adoraverunt.\ (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃29 ויאמר יחזקיהו המלך והשרים ללוים להלל ליהוה בדברי דויד ואסף החזה ויהללו עד לשמחה ויקדו וישתחוו פ (Ⅴ)

Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.
- Ézéchias prit alors la parole, et dit: Maintenant que vous vous êtes consacrés à l'Éternel, approchez-vous, amenez des victimes et offrez en sacrifices d'actions de grâces à la maison de l'Éternel. Et l'assemblée amena des victimes et offrit des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, et tous ceux dont le coeur était bien disposé offrirent des holocaustes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπεκρίθη Εζεκιας καὶ εἰ̃πεν νυ̃ν ἐπληρώσατε τὰς χει̃ρας ὑμω̃ν κυρίω̨ προσαγάγετε καὶ φέρετε θυσίας καὶ αἰνέσεως εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν ἡ ἐκκλησία θυσίας καὶ αἰνέσεως εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου καὶ πα̃ς πρόθυμος τη̨̃ καρδία̨ ὁλοκαυτώσεις (Ⅲ) - Ezechias autem etiam hæc addidit : Implestis manus vestras Domino : accedite, et offerte victimas et laudes in domo Domini. Obtulit ergo universa multitudo hostias, et laudes, et holocausta, mente devota. (Ⅳ) - 31 ׃29 ויען יחזקיהו ויאמר עתה מלאתם ידכם ליהוה גשו והביאו זבחים ותודות לבית יהוה ויביאו הקהל זבחים ותודות וכל נדיב לב עלות (Ⅴ)

And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
- Le nombre des holocaustes offerts par l'assemblée fut de soixante-dix boeufs, cent béliers, et deux cents agneaux; toutes ces victimes furent immolées en holocauste à l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς τη̃ς ὁλοκαυτώσεως ἡ̃ς ἀνήνεγκεν ἡ ἐκκλησία μόσχοι ἑβδομήκοντα κριοὶ ἑκατόν ἀμνοὶ διακόσιοι εἰς ὁλοκαύτωσιν κυρίω̨ πάντα ταυ̃τα (Ⅲ) - Porro numerus holocaustorum quæ obtulit multitudo, hic fuit : tauros septuaginta, arietes centum, agnos ducentos. (Ⅳ) - 32 ׃29 ויהי מספר העלה אשר הביאו הקהל בקר שבעים אילים מאה כבשים מאתים לעלה ליהוה כל אלה (Ⅴ)

And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.
- Et l'on consacra encore six cents boeufs et trois mille brebis. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οἱ ἡγιασμένοι μόσχοι ἑξακόσιοι πρόβατα τρισχίλια (Ⅲ) - Sanctificaveruntque Domino boves sexcentos, et oves tria millia. (Ⅳ) - 33 ׃29 והקדשים בקר שש מאות וצאן שלשת אלפים (Ⅴ)

But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
- Mais les sacrificateurs étaient en petit nombre, et ils ne purent dépouiller tous les holocaustes; leurs frères, les Lévites, les aidèrent jusqu'à ce que l'ouvrage fût fini, et jusqu'à ce que les autres sacrificateurs se fussent sanctifiés, car les Lévites avaient eu plus à coeur de se sanctifier que les sacrificateurs. (Ⅱ) - ἀλλ' ἢ οἱ ἱερει̃ς ὀλίγοι ἠ̃σαν καὶ οὐκ ἐδύναντο δει̃ραι τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ ἀντελάβοντο αὐτω̃ν οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτω̃ν οἱ Λευι̃ται ἕως οὑ̃ συνετελέσθη τὸ ἔργον καὶ ἕως οὑ̃ ἡγνίσθησαν οἱ ἱερει̃ς ὅτι οἱ Λευι̃ται προθύμως ἡγνίσθησαν παρὰ τοὺς ἱερει̃ς (Ⅲ) - Sacerdotes vero pauci erant, nec poterant sufficere ut pelles holocaustorum detraherent : unde et Levitæ fratres eorum adjuverunt eos, donec impleretur opus, et sanctificarentur antistites : Levitæ quippe faciliori ritu sanctificantur quam sacerdotes. (Ⅳ) - 34 ׃29 רק הכהנים היו למעט ולא יכלו להפשיט את כל העלות ויחזקום אחיהם הלוים עד כלות המלאכה ועד יתקדשו הכהנים כי הלוים ישרי לבב להתקדש מהכהנים (Ⅴ)

And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.
- Il y avait d'ailleurs beaucoup d'holocaustes, avec les graisses des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, et avec les libations des holocaustes. Ainsi fut rétabli le service de la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἡ ὁλοκαύτωσις πολλὴ ἐν τοι̃ς στέασιν τη̃ς τελειώσεως του̃ σωτηρίου καὶ τω̃ν σπονδω̃ν τη̃ς ὁλοκαυτώσεως καὶ κατωρθώθη τὸ ἔργον ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Fuerunt ergo holocausta plurima, adipes pacificorum, et libamina holocaustorum : et completus est cultus domus Domini. (Ⅳ) - 35 ׃29 וגם עלה לרב בחלבי השלמים ובנסכים לעלה ותכון עבודת בית יהוה (Ⅴ)

And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly.
- Ézéchias et tout le peuple se réjouirent de ce que Dieu avait bien disposé le peuple, car la chose se fit subitement. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ηὐφράνθη Εζεκιας καὶ πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς διὰ τὸ ἡτοιμακέναι τὸν θεὸν τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ ὅτι ἐξάπινα ἐγένετο ὁ λόγος (Ⅲ) - Lætatusque est Ezechias et omnis populus, eo quod ministerium Domini esset expletum : de repente quippe hoc fieri placuerat. (Ⅳ) - 36 ׃29 וישמח יחזקיהו וכל העם על ההכין האלהים לעם כי בפתאם היה הדבר פ (Ⅴ)
