Ecce enim Dominator, Dominus exercituum,/ auferet a Jerusalem et a Juda/ validum et fortem,/ omne robur panis, et omne robor aquæ ;/
- Le Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées, Va ôter de Jérusalem et de Juda Tout appui et toute ressource, Toute ressource de pain Et toute ressource d'eau, (Ⅱ) - For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water. (Ⅲ) - ἰδοὺ δὴ ὁ δεσπότης κύριος σαβαωθ ἀφελει̃ ἀπὸ τη̃ς Ιουδαίας καὶ ἀπὸ Ιερουσαλημ ἰσχύοντα καὶ ἰσχύουσαν ἰσχὺν ἄρτου καὶ ἰσχὺν ὕδατος (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃3 כי הנה האדון יהוה צבאות מסיר מירושלם ומיהודה משען ומשענה כל משען לחם וכל משען מים (Ⅴ)

- Le héros et l'homme de guerre, Le juge et le prophète, le devin et l'ancien, (Ⅱ) - The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, (Ⅲ) - γίγαντα καὶ ἰσχύοντα καὶ ἄνθρωπον πολεμιστὴν καὶ δικαστὴν καὶ προφήτην καὶ στοχαστὴν καὶ πρεσβύτερον (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃3 גבור ואיש מלחמה שופט ונביא וקסם וזקן (Ⅴ)

- Le chef de cinquante et le magistrat, Le conseiller, l'artisan distingué et l'habile enchanteur. (Ⅱ) - The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator. (Ⅲ) - καὶ πεντηκόνταρχον καὶ θαυμαστὸν σύμβουλον καὶ σοφὸν ἀρχιτέκτονα καὶ συνετὸν ἀκροατήν (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃3 שר חמשים ונשוא פנים ויועץ וחכם חרשים ונבון לחש (Ⅴ)

Et dabo pueros principes eorum,/ et effeminati dominabuntur eis ;/
- Je leur donnerai des jeunes gens pour chefs, Et des enfants domineront sur eux. (Ⅱ) - And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐπιστήσω νεανίσκους ἄρχοντας αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐμπαι̃κται κυριεύσουσιν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃3 ונתתי נערים שריהם ותעלולים ימשלו בם (Ⅴ)

et irruet populus, vir ad virum,/ et unusquisque ad proximum suum ;/ tumultuabitur puer contra senem,/ et ignobilis contra nobilem./
- Il y aura réciprocité d'oppression parmi le peuple; L'un opprimera l'autre, chacun son prochain; Le jeune homme attaquera le vieillard, Et l'homme de rien celui qui est honoré. (Ⅱ) - And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable. (Ⅲ) - καὶ συμπεσει̃ται ὁ λαός ἄνθρωπος πρὸς ἄνθρωπον καὶ ἄνθρωπος πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτου̃ προσκόψει τὸ παιδίον πρὸς τὸν πρεσβύτην ὁ ἄτιμος πρὸς τὸν ἔντιμον (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃3 ונגש העם איש באיש ואיש ברעהו ירהבו הנער בזקן והנקלה בנכבד (Ⅴ)

Apprehendet enim vir fratrem suum,/ domesticum patris sui :/ Vestimentum tibi est, princeps esto noster,/ ruina autem hæc sub manu tua./
- On ira jusqu'à saisir son frère dans la maison paternelle: Tu as un habit, sois notre chef! Prends ces ruines sous ta main! - (Ⅱ) - When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand: (Ⅲ) - ὅτι ἐπιλήμψεται ἄνθρωπος του̃ ἀδελφου̃ αὐτου̃ ἢ του̃ οἰκείου του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ λέγων ἱμάτιον ἔχεις ἀρχηγὸς ἡμω̃ν γενου̃ καὶ τὸ βρω̃μα τὸ ἐμὸν ὑπὸ σὲ ἔστω (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃3 כי יתפש איש באחיו בית אביו שמלה לכה קצין תהיה לנו והמכשלה הזאת תחת ידך (Ⅴ)

Respondebit in die illa, dicens :/ Non sum medicus,/ et in domo mea non est panis neque vestimentum :/ nolite constituere me principem populi./
- Ce jour-là même il répondra: Je ne saurais être un médecin, Et dans ma maison il n'y a ni pain ni vêtement; Ne m'établissez pas chef du peuple! (Ⅱ) - In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ἐρει̃ ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ οὐκ ἔσομαί σου ἀρχηγός οὐ γὰρ ἔστιν ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ μου ἄρτος οὐδὲ ἱμάτιον οὐκ ἔσομαι ἀρχηγὸς του̃ λαου̃ τούτου (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃3 ישא ביום ההוא לאמר לא אהיה חבש ובביתי אין לחם ואין שמלה לא תשימני קצין עם (Ⅴ)

Ruit enim Jerusalem, et Judas concidit,/ quia lingua eorum et adinventiones eorum contra Dominum,/ ut provocarent oculos majestatis ejus./
- Jérusalem chancelle, Et Juda s'écroule, Parce que leurs paroles et leurs oeuvres sont contre l'Éternel, Bravant les regards de sa majesté. (Ⅱ) - For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory. (Ⅲ) - ὅτι ἀνει̃ται Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἡ Ιουδαία συμπέπτωκεν καὶ αἱ γλω̃σσαι αὐτω̃ν μετὰ ἀνομίας τὰ πρὸς κύριον ἀπειθου̃ντες διότι νυ̃ν ἐταπεινώθη ἡ δόξα αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃3 כי כשלה ירושלם ויהודה נפל כי לשונם ומעלליהם אל יהוה למרות עני כבודו (Ⅴ)

Agnitio vultus eorum respondit eis ;/ et peccatum suum quasi Sodoma prædicaverunt, nec absconderunt./ Væ animæ eorum, quoniam reddita sunt eis mala !/
- L'aspect de leur visage témoigne contre eux, Et, comme Sodome, ils publient leur crime, sans dissimuler. Malheur à leur âme! Car ils se préparent des maux. (Ⅱ) - The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἡ αἰσχύνη του̃ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν ἀντέστη αὐτοι̃ς τὴν δὲ ἁμαρτίαν αὐτω̃ν ὡς Σοδομων ἀνήγγειλαν καὶ ἐνεφάνισαν οὐαὶ τη̨̃ ψυχη̨̃ αὐτω̃ν διότι βεβούλευνται βουλὴν πονηρὰν καθ' ἑαυτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃3 הכרת פניהם ענתה בם וחטאתם כסדם הגידו לא כחדו אוי לנפשם כי גמלו להם רעה (Ⅴ)

Dicite justo quoniam bene,/ quoniam fructum adinventionum suarum comedet./
- Dites que le juste prospérera, Car il jouira du fruit de ses oeuvres. (Ⅱ) - Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. (Ⅲ) - εἰπόντες δήσωμεν τὸν δίκαιον ὅτι δύσχρηστος ἡμι̃ν ἐστιν τοίνυν τὰ γενήματα τω̃ν ἔργων αὐτω̃ν φάγονται (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃3 אמרו צדיק כי טוב כי פרי מעלליהם יאכלו (Ⅴ)

Væ impio in malum !/ retributio enim manuum ejus fiet ei./
- Malheur au méchant! il sera dans l'infortune, Car il recueillera le produit de ses mains. (Ⅱ) - Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. (Ⅲ) - οὐαὶ τω̨̃ ἀνόμω̨ πονηρὰ κατὰ τὰ ἔργα τω̃ν χειρω̃ν αὐτου̃ συμβήσεται αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃3 אוי לרשע רע כי גמול ידיו יעשה לו (Ⅴ)

Populum meum exactores sui spoliaverunt,/ et mulieres dominatæ sunt eis./ Popule meus, qui te beatum dicunt, ipsi te decipiunt,/ et viam gressuum tuorum dissipant./
- Mon peuple a pour oppresseurs des enfants, Et des femmes dominent sur lui; Mon peuple, ceux qui te conduisent t'égarent, Et ils corrompent la voie dans laquelle tu marches. (Ⅱ) - As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. (Ⅲ) - λαός μου οἱ πράκτορες ὑμω̃ν καλαμω̃νται ὑμα̃ς καὶ οἱ ἀπαιτου̃ντες κυριεύουσιν ὑμω̃ν λαός μου οἱ μακαρίζοντες ὑμα̃ς πλανω̃σιν ὑμα̃ς καὶ τὸν τρίβον τω̃ν ποδω̃ν ὑμω̃ν ταράσσουσιν (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃3 עמי נגשיו מעולל ונשים משלו בו עמי מאשריך מתעים ודרך ארחתיך בלעו ס (Ⅴ)

Stat ad judicandum Dominus,/ et stat ad judicandos populos./
- L'Éternel se présente pour plaider, Il est debout pour juger les peuples. (Ⅱ) - The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people. (Ⅲ) - ἀλλὰ νυ̃ν καταστήσεται εἰς κρίσιν κύριος καὶ στήσει εἰς κρίσιν τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃3 נצב לריב יהוה ועמד לדין עמים (Ⅴ)

Dominus ad judicium veniet/ cum senibus populi sui, et principibus ejus ;/ vos enim depasti estis vineam,/ et rapina pauperis in domo vestra./
- L'Éternel entre en jugement Avec les anciens de son peuple et avec ses chefs: Vous avez brouté la vigne! La dépouille du pauvre est dans vos maisons! (Ⅱ) - The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. (Ⅲ) - αὐτὸς κύριος εἰς κρίσιν ἥξει μετὰ τω̃ν πρεσβυτέρων του̃ λαου̃ καὶ μετὰ τω̃ν ἀρχόντων αὐτου̃ ὑμει̃ς δὲ τί ἐνεπυρίσατε τὸν ἀμπελω̃νά μου καὶ ἡ ἁρπαγὴ του̃ πτωχου̃ ἐν τοι̃ς οἴκοις ὑμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃3 יהוה במשפט יבוא עם זקני עמו ושריו ואתם בערתם הכרם גזלת העני בבתיכם (Ⅴ)

Quare atteritis populum meum,/ et facies pauperum commolitis ?/ dicit Dominus Deus exercituum.]\
- De quel droit foulez-vous mon peuple, Et écrasez-vous la face des pauvres? Dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées. (Ⅱ) - What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts. (Ⅲ) - τί ὑμει̃ς ἀδικει̃τε τὸν λαόν μου καὶ τὸ πρόσωπον τω̃ν πτωχω̃ν καταισχύνετε (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃3 *מלכם **מה **לכם[a] תדכאו עמי ופני עניים תטחנו נאם אדני יהוה צבאות ס (Ⅴ)

Et dixit Dominus :/ Pro eo quod elevatæ sunt filiæ Sion,/ et ambulaverunt extento collo,/ et nutibus oculorum ibant,/ et plaudebant, ambulabant pedibus suis,/ et composito gradu incedebant ;/
- L'Éternel dit: Parce que les filles de Sion sont orgueilleuses, Et qu'elles marchent le cou tendu Et les regards effrontés, Parce qu'elles vont à petits pas, Et qu'elles font résonner les boucles de leurs pieds, (Ⅱ) - Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: (Ⅲ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ' ὡ̃ν ὑψώθησαν αἱ θυγατέρες Σιων καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ὑψηλω̨̃ τραχήλω̨ καὶ ἐν νεύμασιν ὀφθαλμω̃ν καὶ τη̨̃ πορεία̨ τω̃ν ποδω̃ν ἅμα σύρουσαι τοὺς χιτω̃νας καὶ τοι̃ς ποσὶν ἅμα παίζουσαι (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃3 ויאמר יהוה יען כי גבהו בנות ציון ותלכנה *נטוות **נטויות גרון ומשקרות עינים הלוך וטפף תלכנה וברגליהם תעכסנה (Ⅴ)

decalvabit Dominus verticem filiarum Sion,/ et Dominus crinem earum nudabit./
- Le Seigneur rendra chauve le sommet de la tête des filles de Sion, L'Éternel découvrira leur nudité. (Ⅱ) - Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ταπεινώσει ὁ θεὸς ἀρχούσας θυγατέρας Σιων καὶ κύριος ἀποκαλύψει τὸ σχη̃μα αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃3 ושפח אדני קדקד בנות ציון ויהוה פתהן יערה ס (Ⅴ)

In die illa auferet Dominus ornamentum calceamentum,/
- En ce jour, le Seigneur ôtera les boucles qui servent d'ornement à leurs pieds, Et les filets et les croissants; (Ⅱ) - In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, (Ⅲ) - ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ καὶ ἀφελει̃ κύριος τὴν δόξαν του̃ ἱματισμου̃ αὐτω̃ν καὶ τοὺς κόσμους αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰ ἐμπλόκια καὶ τοὺς κοσύμβους καὶ τοὺς μηνίσκους (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃3 ביום ההוא יסיר אדני את תפארת העכסים והשביסים והשהרנים (Ⅴ)

- Les pendants d'oreilles, les bracelets et les voiles; (Ⅱ) - The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers, (Ⅲ) - καὶ τὸ κάθεμα καὶ τὸν κόσμον του̃ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃3 הנטיפות והשירות והרעלות (Ⅴ)

et discriminalia, et periscelidas, et murenulas,/ et olfactoriola, et inaures,/
- Les diadèmes, les chaînettes des pieds et les ceintures, Les boîtes de senteur et les amulettes; (Ⅱ) - The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings, (Ⅲ) - καὶ τὴν σύνθεσιν του̃ κόσμου τη̃ς δόξης καὶ τοὺς χλιδω̃νας καὶ τὰ ψέλια καὶ τὸ ἐμπλόκιον καὶ τὰ περιδέξια καὶ τοὺς δακτυλίους καὶ τὰ ἐνώτια (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃3 הפארים והצעדות והקשרים ובתי הנפש והלחשים (Ⅴ)

et annulos, et gemmas in fronte pendentes,/
- Les bagues et les anneaux du nez; (Ⅱ) - The rings, and nose jewels, (Ⅲ) - καὶ τὰ περιπόρφυρα καὶ τὰ μεσοπόρφυρα (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃3 הטבעות ונזמי האף (Ⅴ)

et mutatoria, et palliola,/ et linteamina, et acus,/
- Les vêtements précieux et les larges tuniques, Les manteaux et les gibecières; (Ⅱ) - The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins, (Ⅲ) - καὶ τὰ ἐπιβλήματα τὰ κατὰ τὴν οἰκίαν καὶ τὰ διαφανη̃ λακωνικὰ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃3 המחלצות והמעטפות והמטפחות והחריטים (Ⅴ)

et specula, et sindones,/ et vittas, et theristra./
- Les miroirs et les chemises fines, Les turbans et les surtouts légers. (Ⅱ) - The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails. (Ⅲ) - καὶ τὰ βύσσινα καὶ τὰ ὑακίνθινα καὶ τὰ κόκκινα καὶ τὴν βύσσον σὺν χρυσίω̨ καὶ ὑακίνθω̨ συγκαθυφασμένα καὶ θέριστρα κατάκλιτα (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃3 והגלינים והסדינים והצניפות והרדידים (Ⅴ)

Et erit pro suavi odore fœtor,/ et pro zona funiculus,/ et pro crispanti crine calvitium,/ et pro fascia pectorali cilicium./
- Au lieu de parfum, il y aura de l'infection; Au lieu de ceinture, une corde; Au lieu de cheveux bouclés, une tête chauve; Au lieu d'un large manteau, un sac étroit; Une marque flétrissante, au lieu de beauté. (Ⅱ) - And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ἀντὶ ὀσμη̃ς ἡδείας κονιορτός καὶ ἀντὶ ζώνης σχοινίω̨ ζώση̨ καὶ ἀντὶ του̃ κόσμου τη̃ς κεφαλη̃ς του̃ χρυσίου φαλάκρωμα ἕξεις διὰ τὰ ἔργα σου καὶ ἀντὶ του̃ χιτω̃νος του̃ μεσοπορφύρου περιζώση̨ σάκκον (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃3 והיה תחת בשם מק יהיה ותחת חגורה נקפה ותחת מעשה מקשה קרחה ותחת פתיגיל מחגרת שק כי תחת יפי (Ⅴ)

Pulcherrimi quoque viri tui gladio cadent,/ et fortes tui in prælio./
- Tes hommes tomberont sous le glaive, Et tes héros dans le combat. (Ⅱ) - Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ὁ υἱός σου ὁ κάλλιστος ὃν ἀγαπα̨̃ς μαχαίρα̨ πεσει̃ται καὶ οἱ ἰσχύοντες ὑμω̃ν μαχαίρα̨ πεσου̃νται (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃3 מתיך בחרב יפלו וגבורתך במלחמה (Ⅴ)

Et mœrebunt atque lugebunt portæ ejus,/ et desolata in terra sedebit.]
- Les portes de Sion gémiront et seront dans le deuil; Dépouillée, elle s'assiéra par terre. (Ⅱ) - And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ταπεινωθήσονται καὶ πενθήσουσιν αἱ θη̃και του̃ κόσμου ὑμω̃ν καὶ καταλειφθήση̨ μόνη καὶ εἰς τὴν γη̃ν ἐδαφισθήση̨ (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃3 ואנו ואבלו פתחיה ונקתה לארץ תשב (Ⅴ)
