Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
- Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, mange ce que tu trouves, mange ce rouleau, et va, parle à la maison d'Israël! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου κατάφαγε τὴν κεφαλίδα ταύτην καὶ πορεύθητι καὶ λάλησον τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Et dixit ad me : Fili hominis, quodcumque inveneris, comede : comede volumen istud, et vadens loquere ad filios Israël. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃3 ויאמר אלי בן אדם את אשר תמצא אכול אכול את המגלה הזאת ולך דבר אל בית ישראל (Ⅴ)

So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
- J'ouvris la bouche, et il me fit manger ce rouleau. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διήνοιξα τὸ στόμα μου καὶ ἐψώμισέν με τὴν κεφαλίδα (Ⅲ) - Et aperui os meum, et cibavit me volumine illo : (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃3 ואפתח את פי ויאכלני את המגלה הזאת (Ⅴ)

And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
- Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, nourris ton ventre et remplis tes entrailles de ce rouleau que je te donne! Je le mangeai, et il fut dans ma bouche doux comme du miel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου τὸ στόμα σου φάγεται καὶ ἡ κοιλία σου πλησθήσεται τη̃ς κεφαλίδος ταύτης τη̃ς δεδομένης εἰς σέ καὶ ἔφαγον αὐτήν καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τω̨̃ στόματί μου ὡς μέλι γλυκάζον (Ⅲ) - et dixit ad me : Fili hominis, venter tuus comedet, et viscera tua complebuntur volumine isto quod ego do tibi. Et comedi illud, et factum est in ore meo sicut mel dulce. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃3 ויאמר אלי בן אדם בטנך תאכל ומעיך תמלא את המגלה הזאת אשר אני נתן אליך ואכלה ותהי בפי כדבש למתוק פ (Ⅴ)

And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
- Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, va vers la maison d'Israël, et dis-leur mes paroles! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου βάδιζε εἴσελθε πρὸς τὸν οἰ̃κον του̃ Ισραηλ καὶ λάλησον τοὺς λόγους μου πρὸς αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Et dixit ad me : Fili hominis, vade ad domum Israël, et loqueris verba mea ad eos. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃3 ויאמר אלי בן אדם לך בא אל בית ישראל ודברת בדברי אליהם (Ⅴ)

For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;
- Car ce n'est point vers un peuple ayant un langage obscur, une langue inintelligible, que tu es envoyé; c'est à la maison d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - διότι οὐ πρὸς λαὸν βαθύχειλον καὶ βαρύγλωσσον σὺ ἐξαποστέλλη̨ πρὸς τὸν οἰ̃κον του̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Non enim ad populum profundi sermonis et ignotæ linguæ tu mitteris ad domum Israël : (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃3 כי לא אל עם עמקי שפה וכבדי לשון אתה שלוח אל בית ישראל (Ⅴ)

Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.
- Ce n'est point vers de nombreux peuples ayant un langage obscur, une langue inintelligible, dont tu ne comprends pas les discours. Si je t'envoyais vers eux, ils t'écouteraient. (Ⅱ) - οὐδὲ πρὸς λαοὺς πολλοὺς ἀλλοφώνους ἢ ἀλλογλώσσους οὐδὲ στιβαροὺς τη̨̃ γλώσση̨ ὄντας ὡ̃ν οὐκ ἀκούση̨ τοὺς λόγους αὐτω̃ν καὶ εἰ πρὸς τοιούτους ἐξαπέστειλά σε οὑ̃τοι ἂν εἰσήκουσάν σου (Ⅲ) - neque ad populos multos profundi sermonis et ignotæ linguæ, quorum non possis audire sermones : et si ad illos mittereris, ipsi audirent te : (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃3 לא אל עמים רבים עמקי שפה וכבדי לשון אשר לא תשמע דבריהם אם לא אליהם שלחתיך המה ישמעו אליך (Ⅴ)

But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.
- Mais la maison d'Israël ne voudra pas t'écouter, parce qu'elle ne veut pas m'écouter; car toute la maison d'Israël a le front dur et le coeur endurci. (Ⅱ) - ὁ δὲ οἰ̃κος του̃ Ισραηλ οὐ μὴ θελήσωσιν εἰσακου̃σαί σου διότι οὐ βούλονται εἰσακούειν μου ὅτι πα̃ς ὁ οἰ̃κος Ισραηλ φιλόνεικοί εἰσιν καὶ σκληροκάρδιοι (Ⅲ) - domus autem Israël nolunt audire te, quia nolunt audire me : omnis quippe domus Israël attrita fronte est, et duro corde. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃3 ובית ישראל לא יאבו לשמע אליך כי אינם אבים לשמע אלי כי כל בית ישראל חזקי מצח וקשי לב המה (Ⅴ)

Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.
- Voici, j'endurcirai ta face, pour que tu l'opposes à leur face; j'endurcirai ton front, pour que tu l'opposes à leur front. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἰδοὺ δέδωκα τὸ πρόσωπόν σου δυνατὸν κατέναντι τω̃ν προσώπων αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὸ νει̃κός σου κατισχύσω κατέναντι του̃ νείκους αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Ecce dedi faciem tuam valentiorem faciebus eorum, et frontem tuam duriorem frontibus eorum : (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃3 הנה נתתי את פניך חזקים לעמת פניהם ואת מצחך חזק לעמת מצחם (Ⅴ)

As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
- Je rendrai ton front comme un diamant, plus dur que le roc. Ne les crains pas, quoiqu'ils soient une famille de rebelles. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται διὰ παντὸς κραταιότερον πέτρας μὴ φοβηθη̨̃ς ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν μηδὲ πτοηθη̨̃ς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν διότι οἰ̃κος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν (Ⅲ) - ut adamantem et ut silicem dedi faciem tuam : ne timeas eos, neque metuas a facie eorum, quia domus exasperans est.\ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃3 כשמיר חזק מצר נתתי מצחך לא תירא אותם ולא תחת מפניהם כי בית מרי המה פ (Ⅴ)

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.
- Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, reçois dans ton coeur et écoute de tes oreilles toutes les paroles que je te dirai! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου πάντας τοὺς λόγους οὓς λελάληκα μετὰ σου̃ λαβὲ εἰς τὴν καρδίαν σου καὶ τοι̃ς ὠσίν σου ἄκουε (Ⅲ) - Et dixit ad me : Fili hominis, omnes sermones meos quos ego loquor ad te, assume in corde tuo, et auribus tuis audi : (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃3 ויאמר אלי בן אדם את כל דברי אשר אדבר אליך קח בלבבך ובאזניך שמע (Ⅴ)

And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
- Va vers les captifs, vers les enfants de ton peuple; tu leur parleras, et, qu'ils écoutent ou qu'ils n'écoutent pas, tu leur diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ βάδιζε εἴσελθε εἰς τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς του̃ λαου̃ σου καὶ λαλήσεις πρὸς αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐρει̃ς πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐὰν ἄρα ἀκούσωσιν ἐὰν ἄρα ἐνδω̃σιν (Ⅲ) - et vade, ingredere ad transmigrationem, ad filios populi tui, et loqueris ad eos : et dices eis : Hæc dicit Dominus Deus : si forte audiant et quiescant. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃3 ולך בא אל הגולה אל בני עמך ודברת אליהם ואמרת אליהם כה אמר אדני יהוה אם ישמעו ואם יחדלו (Ⅴ)

Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.
- Et l'esprit m'enleva, et j'entendis derrière moi le bruit d'un grand tumulte: Bénie soit la gloire de l'Éternel, du lieu de sa demeure! (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνέλαβέν με πνευ̃μα καὶ ἤκουσα κατόπισθέν μου φωνὴν σεισμου̃ μεγάλου εὐλογημένη ἡ δόξα κυρίου ἐκ του̃ τόπου αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et assumpsit me spiritus, et audivi post me vocem commotionis magnæ : Benedicta gloria Domini de loco suo : (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃3 ותשאני רוח ואשמע אחרי קול רעש גדול ברוך כבוד יהוה ממקומו (Ⅴ)

I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.
- J'entendis le bruit des ailes des animaux, frappant l'une contre l'autre, le bruit des roues auprès d'eux, et le bruit d'un grand tumulte. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃δον φωνὴν πτερύγων τω̃ν ζώ̨ων πτερυσσομένων ἑτέρα πρὸς τὴν ἑτέραν καὶ φωνὴ τω̃ν τροχω̃ν ἐχομένη αὐτω̃ν καὶ φωνὴ του̃ σεισμου̃ (Ⅲ) - et vocem alarum animalium percutientium alteram ad alteram, et vocem rotarum sequentium animalia, et vocem commotionis magnæ. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃3 וקול כנפי החיות משיקות אשה אל אחותה וקול האופנים לעמתם וקול רעש גדול (Ⅴ)

So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.
- L'esprit m'enleva et m'emporta. J'allais, irrité et furieux, et la main de l'Éternel agissait sur moi avec puissance. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὸ πνευ̃μα ἐξη̃ρέν με καὶ ἀνέλαβέν με καὶ ἐπορεύθην ἐν ὁρμη̨̃ του̃ πνεύματός μου καὶ χεὶρ κυρίου ἐγένετο ἐπ' ἐμὲ κραταιά (Ⅲ) - Spiritus quoque levavit me, et assumpsit me : et abii amarus in indignatione spiritus mei : manus enim Domini erat mecum, confortans me. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃3 ורוח נשאתני ותקחני ואלך מר בחמת רוחי ויד יהוה עלי חזקה (Ⅴ)

Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.
- J'arrivai à Thel Abib, vers les exilés qui demeuraient près du fleuve du Kebar, et dans le lieu où ils se trouvaient; là je restai sept jours, stupéfait au milieu d'eux. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰση̃λθον εἰς τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν μετέωρος καὶ περιη̃λθον τοὺς κατοικου̃ντας ἐπὶ του̃ ποταμου̃ του̃ Χοβαρ τοὺς ὄντας ἐκει̃ καὶ ἐκάθισα ἐκει̃ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἀναστρεφόμενος ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Et veni ad transmigrationem, ad acervum novarum frugum, ad eos qui habitabant juxta flumen Chobar : et sedi ubi illi sedebant, et mansi ibi septem diebus mœrens in medio eorum. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃3 ואבוא אל הגולה תל אביב הישבים אל נהר כבר *ואשר **ואשב המה יושבים שם ואשב שם שבעת ימים משמים בתוכם (Ⅴ)

And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
- Au bout de sept jours, la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο μετὰ τὰς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (Ⅲ) - Cum autem pertransissent septem dies, factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃3 ויהי מקצה שבעת ימים פויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר (Ⅴ)

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
- Fils de l'homme, je t'établis comme sentinelle sur la maison d'Israël. Tu écouteras la parole qui sortira de ma bouche, et tu les avertiras de ma part. (Ⅱ) - υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου σκοπὸν δέδωκά σε τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ Ισραηλ καὶ ἀκούση̨ ἐκ στόματός μου λόγον καὶ διαπειλήση̨ αὐτοι̃ς παρ' ἐμου̃ (Ⅲ) - Fili hominis, speculatorem dedi te domui Israël, et audies de ore meo verbum, et annuntiabis eis ex me. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃3 בן אדם צפה נתתיך לבית ישראל ושמעת מפי דבר והזהרת אותם ממני (Ⅴ)

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
- Quand je dirai au méchant: Tu mourras! si tu ne l'avertis pas, si tu ne parles pas pour détourner le méchant de sa mauvaise voie et pour lui sauver la vie, ce méchant mourra dans son iniquité, et je te redemanderai son sang. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τω̨̃ λέγειν με τω̨̃ ἀνόμω̨ θανάτω̨ θανατωθήση̨ καὶ οὐ διεστείλω αὐτω̨̃ οὐδὲ ἐλάλησας του̃ διαστείλασθαι τω̨̃ ἀνόμω̨ ἀποστρέψαι ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὁδω̃ν αὐτου̃ του̃ ζη̃σαι αὐτόν ὁ ἄνομος ἐκει̃νος τη̨̃ ἀδικία̨ αὐτου̃ ἀποθανει̃ται καὶ τὸ αἱ̃μα αὐτου̃ ἐκ χειρός σου ἐκζητήσω (Ⅲ) - Si, dicente me ad impium : Morte morieris, non annuntiaveris ei, neque locutus fueris ut avertatur a via sua impia et vivat, ipse impius in iniquitate sua morietur, sanguinem autem ejus de manu tua requiram. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃3 באמרי לרשע מות תמות ולא הזהרתו ולא דברת להזהיר רשע מדרכו הרשעה לחיתו הוא רשע בעונו ימות ודמו מידך אבקש (Ⅴ)

Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
- Mais si tu avertis le méchant, et qu'il ne se détourne pas de sa méchanceté et de sa mauvaise voie, il mourra dans son iniquité, et toi, tu sauveras ton âme. (Ⅱ) - καὶ σὺ ἐὰν διαστείλη̨ τω̨̃ ἀνόμω̨ καὶ μὴ ἀποστρέψη̨ ἀπὸ τη̃ς ἀνομίας αὐτου̃ καὶ τη̃ς ὁδου̃ αὐτου̃ ὁ ἄνομος ἐκει̃νος ἐν τη̨̃ ἀδικία̨ αὐτου̃ ἀποθανει̃ται καὶ σὺ τὴν ψυχήν σου ῥύση̨ (Ⅲ) - Si autem tu annuntiaveris impio, et ille non fuerit conversus ab impietate sua et a via sua impia, ipse quidem in iniquitate sua morietur : tu autem animam tuam liberasti. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃3 ואתה כי הזהרת רשע ולא שב מרשעו ומדרכו הרשעה הוא בעונו ימות ואתה את נפשך הצלת ס (Ⅴ)

Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
- Si un juste se détourne de sa justice et fait ce qui est mal, je mettrai un piège devant lui, et il mourra; parce que tu ne l'as pas averti, il mourra dans son péché, on ne parlera plus de la justice qu'il a pratiquée, et je te redemanderai son sang. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ ἀποστρέφειν δίκαιον ἀπὸ τω̃ν δικαιοσυνω̃ν αὐτου̃ καὶ ποιήση̨ παράπτωμα καὶ δώσω τὴν βάσανον εἰς πρόσωπον αὐτου̃ αὐτὸς ἀποθανει̃ται ὅτι οὐ διεστείλω αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἐν ται̃ς ἁμαρτίαις αὐτου̃ ἀποθανει̃ται διότι οὐ μὴ μνησθω̃σιν αἱ δικαιοσύναι αὐτου̃ ἃς ἐποίησεν καὶ τὸ αἱ̃μα αὐτου̃ ἐκ τη̃ς χειρός σου ἐκζητήσω (Ⅲ) - Sed et si conversus justus a justitia sua fuerit, et fecerit iniquitatem, ponam offendiculum coram eo : ipse morietur quia non annuntiasti ei. In peccato suo morietur, et non erunt in memoria justitiæ ejus quas fecit : sanguinem vero ejus de manu tua requiram. (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃3 ובשוב צדיק מצדקו ועשה עול ונתתי מכשול לפניו הוא ימות כי לא הזהרתו בחטאתו ימות ולא תזכרן צדקתו[q] אשר עשה ודמו מידך אבקש (Ⅴ)

Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
- Mais si tu avertis le juste de ne pas pécher, et qu'il ne pèche pas, il vivra, parce qu'il s'est laissé avertir, et toi, tu sauveras ton âme. (Ⅱ) - σὺ δὲ ἐὰν διαστείλη̨ τω̨̃ δικαίω̨ του̃ μὴ ἁμαρτει̃ν καὶ αὐτὸς μὴ ἁμάρτη̨ ὁ δίκαιος ζωη̨̃ ζήσεται ὅτι διεστείλω αὐτω̨̃ καὶ σὺ τὴν σεαυτου̃ ψυχὴν ῥύση̨ (Ⅲ) - Si autem tu annuntiaveris justo ut non peccet justus, et ille non peccaverit, vivens vivet, quia annuntiasti ei, et tu animam tuam liberasti.\ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃3 ואתה כי הזהרתו צדיק לבלתי חטא צדיק והוא לא חטא חיו יחיה כי נזהר ואתה את נפשך הצלת ס (Ⅴ)

And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.
- Là encore la main de l'Éternel fut sur moi, et il me dit: Lève-toi, va dans la vallée, et là je te parlerai. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ἐπ' ἐμὲ χεὶρ κυρίου καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρός με ἀνάστηθι καὶ ἔξελθε εἰς τὸ πεδίον καὶ ἐκει̃ λαληθήσεται πρὸς σέ (Ⅲ) - Et facta est super me manus Domini, et dixit ad me : Surgens egredere in campum, et ibi loquar tecum. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃3 ותהי עלי שם יד יהוה ויאמר אלי קום צא אל הבקעה ושם אדבר אותך (Ⅴ)

Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.
- Je me levai, et j'allai dans la vallée; et voici, la gloire de l'Éternel y apparut, telle que je l'avais vue près du fleuve du Kebar. Alors je tombai sur ma face. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνέστην καὶ ἐξη̃λθον εἰς τὸ πεδίον καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐκει̃ δόξα κυρίου εἱστήκει καθὼς ἡ ὅρασις καὶ καθὼς ἡ δόξα ἣν εἰ̃δον ἐπὶ του̃ ποταμου̃ του̃ Χοβαρ καὶ πίπτω ἐπὶ πρόσωπόν μου (Ⅲ) - Et surgens egressus sum in campum : et ecce ibi gloria Domini stabat, quasi gloria quam vidi juxta fluvium Chobar : et cecidi in faciem meam. (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃3 ואקום ואצא אל הבקעה והנה שם כבוד יהוה עמד ככבוד אשר ראיתי על נהר כבר ואפל על פני (Ⅴ)

Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine house.
- L'esprit entra en moi, et me fit tenir sur mes pieds. Et l'Éternel me parla et me dit: Va t'enfermer dans ta maison. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἠ̃λθεν ἐπ' ἐμὲ πνευ̃μα καὶ ἔστησέν με ἐπὶ πόδας μου καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρός με καὶ εἰ̃πέν μοι εἴσελθε καὶ ἐγκλείσθητι ἐν μέσω̨ του̃ οἴκου σου (Ⅲ) - Et ingressus est in me spiritus, et statuit me super pedes meos, et locutus est mihi, et dixit ad me : Ingredere, et includere in medio domus tuæ. But thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them:
- Fils de l'homme, voici, on mettra sur toi des cordes, avec lesquelles on te liera, afin que tu n'ailles pas au milieu d'eux. (Ⅱ) - καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἰδοὺ δέδονται ἐπὶ σὲ δεσμοί καὶ δήσουσίν σε ἐν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐξέλθη̨ς ἐκ μέσου αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Et tu, fili hominis, ecce data sunt super te vincula, et ligabunt te in eis, et non egredieris de medio eorum. (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃3 ואתה בן אדם הנה נתנו עליך עבותים ואסרוך בהם ולא תצא בתוכם (Ⅴ)

And I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house.
- J'attacherai ta langue à ton palais, pour que tu sois muet et que tu ne puisses pas les reprendre, car c'est une famille de rebelles. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὴν γλω̃σσάν σου συνδήσω καὶ ἀποκωφωθήση̨ καὶ οὐκ ἔση̨ αὐτοι̃ς εἰς ἄνδρα ἐλέγχοντα διότι οἰ̃κος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν (Ⅲ) - Et linguam tuam adhærere faciam palato tuo, et eris mutus, nec quasi vir objurgans, quia domus exasperans est. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃3 ולשונך אדביק אל חכך ונאלמת ולא תהיה להם לאיש מוכיח כי בית מרי המה (Ⅴ)

But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
- Mais quand je te parlerai, j'ouvrirai ta bouche, pour que tu leur dises: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel. Que celui qui voudra écouter écoute, et que celui qui ne voudra pas n'écoute pas, car c'est une famille de rebelles. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ λαλει̃ν με πρὸς σὲ ἀνοίξω τὸ στόμα σου καὶ ἐρει̃ς πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ ἀκούων ἀκουέτω καὶ ὁ ἀπειθω̃ν ἀπειθείτω διότι οἰ̃κος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν (Ⅲ) - Cum autem locutus fuero tibi, aperiam os tuum, et dices ad eos : Hæc dicit Dominus Deus : Qui audit, audiat, et qui quiescit, quiescat : quia domus exasperans est. (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃3 ובדברי אותך אפתח את פיך ואמרת אליהם כה אמר אדני יהוה השמע ישמע והחדל יחדל כי בית מרי המה ס (Ⅴ)
