These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spake with Moses in mount Sinai.

And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office.
- Ce sont là les noms des fils d'Aaron, qui reçurent l'onction comme sacrificateurs, et qui furent consacrés pour l'exercice du sacerdoce. (Ⅱ) - ταυ̃τα τὰ ὀνόματα τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ααρων οἱ ἱερει̃ς οἱ ἠλειμμένοι οὓς ἐτελείωσαν τὰς χει̃ρας αὐτω̃ν ἱερατεύειν (Ⅲ) - Hæc nomina filiorum Aaron sacerdotum qui uncti sunt, et quorum repletæ et consecratæ manus ut sacerdotio fungerentur. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃3 אלה שמות בני אהרן הכהנים המשחים אשר מלא ידם לכהן (Ⅴ)

And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.
- Nadab et Abihu moururent devant l'Éternel, lorsqu'ils apportèrent devant l'Éternel du feu étranger, dans le désert de Sinaï; ils n'avaient point de fils. Éléazar et Ithamar exercèrent le sacerdoce, en présence d'Aaron, leur père. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.
- Fais approcher la tribu de Lévi, et tu la placeras devant le sacrificateur Aaron, pour qu'elle soit à son service. (Ⅱ) - λαβὲ τὴν φυλὴν Λευι καὶ στήσεις αὐτοὺς ἐναντίον Ααρων του̃ ἱερέως καὶ λειτουργήσουσιν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Applica tribum Levi, et fac stare in conspectu Aaron sacerdotis ut ministrent ei, et excubent, (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃3 הקרב את מטה לוי והעמדת אתו לפני אהרן הכהן ושרתו אתו (Ⅴ)

And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.
- Ils auront le soin de ce qui est remis à sa garde et à la garde de toute l'assemblée, devant la tente d'assignation: ils feront le service du tabernacle. (Ⅱ) - καὶ φυλάξουσιν τὰς φυλακὰς αὐτου̃ καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἔναντι τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς (Ⅲ) - et observent quidquid ad cultum pertinet multitudinis coram tabernaculo testimonii, (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃3 ושמרו את משמרתו ואת משמרת כל העדה לפני אהל מועד לעבד את עבדת המשכן (Ⅴ)

And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
- Ils auront le soin de tous les ustensiles de la tente d'assignation, et de ce qui est remis à la garde des enfants d'Israël: ils feront le service du tabernacle. (Ⅱ) - καὶ φυλάξουσιν πάντα τὰ σκεύη τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ κατὰ πάντα τὰ ἔργα τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς (Ⅲ) - et custodiant vasa tabernaculi, servientes in ministerio ejus. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃3 ושמרו את כל כלי אהל מועד ואת משמרת בני ישראל לעבד את עבדת המשכן (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.
- Tu donneras les Lévites à Aaron et à ses fils; ils lui seront entièrement donnés, de la part des enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ δώσεις τοὺς Λευίτας Ααρων καὶ τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς αὐτου̃ τοι̃ς ἱερευ̃σιν δόμα δεδομένοι οὑ̃τοί μοί εἰσιν ἀπὸ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Dabisque dono Levitas (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃3 ונתתה את הלוים לאהרן ולבניו נתונם נתונם המה לו מאת בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
- Tu établiras Aaron et ses fils pour qu'ils observent les fonctions de leur sacerdoce; et l'étranger qui approchera sera puni de mort. (Ⅱ) - καὶ Ααρων καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτου̃ καταστήσεις ἐπὶ τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ φυλάξουσιν τὴν ἱερατείαν αὐτω̃ν καὶ πάντα τὰ κατὰ τὸν βωμὸν καὶ ἔσω του̃ καταπετάσματος καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ ἁπτόμενος ἀποθανει̃ται (Ⅲ) - Aaron et filiis ejus, quibus traditi sunt a filiis Israël. Aaron autem et filios ejus constitues super cultum sacerdotii. Externus, qui ad ministrandum accesserit, morietur. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃3 ואת אהרן ואת בניו תפקד ושמרו את כהנתם והזר הקרב יומת פ (Ⅴ)

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;
- Voici, j'ai pris les Lévites du milieu des enfants d'Israël, à la place de tous les premiers-nés, des premiers-nés des enfants d'Israël; et les Lévites m'appartiendront. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγὼ ἰδοὺ εἴληφα τοὺς Λευίτας ἐκ μέσου τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἀντὶ παντὸς πρωτοτόκου διανοίγοντος μήτραν παρὰ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ λύτρα αὐτω̃ν ἔσονται καὶ ἔσονται ἐμοὶ οἱ Λευι̃ται (Ⅲ) - Ego tuli Levitas a filiis Israël pro omni primogenito, qui aperit vulvam in filiis Israël, eruntque Levitæ mei. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃3 ואני הנה לקחתי את הלוים מתוך בני ישראל תחת כל בכור פטר רחם מבני ישראל והיו לי הלוים (Ⅴ)

Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.
- Car tout premier-né m'appartient; le jour où j'ai frappé tous les premiers-nés dans le pays d'Égypte, je me suis consacré tous les premiers-nés en Israël, tant des hommes que des animaux: ils m'appartiendront. Je suis l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - ἐμοὶ γὰρ πα̃ν πρωτότοκον ἐν ἡ̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐπάταξα πα̃ν πρωτότοκον ἐν γη̨̃ Αἰγύπτου ἡγίασα ἐμοὶ πα̃ν πρωτότοκον ἐν Ισραηλ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους ἐμοὶ ἔσονται ἐγὼ κύριος (Ⅲ) - Meum est enim omne primogenitum : ex quo percussi primogenitos in terra Ægypti, sanctificavi mihi quidquid primum nascitur in Israël : ab homine usque ad pecus, mei sunt. And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,

Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.
- Fais le dénombrement des enfants de Lévi, selon les maisons de leurs pères, selon leurs familles; tu feras le dénombrement de tous les mâles, depuis l'âge d'un mois et au-dessus. (Ⅱ) - ἐπίσκεψαι τοὺς υἱοὺς Λευι κατ' οἴκους πατριω̃ν αὐτω̃ν κατὰ δήμους αὐτω̃ν κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτω̃ν πα̃ν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ἐπισκέψασθε αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Numera filios Levi per domos patrum suorum et familias, omnem masculum ab uno mense et supra. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃3 פקד את בני לוי לבית אבתם למשפחתם כל זכר מבן חדש ומעלה תפקדם (Ⅴ)

And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.
- Moïse en fit le dénombrement sur l'ordre de l'Éternel, en se conformant à l'ordre qui lui fut donné. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπεσκέψαντο αὐτοὺς Μωυση̃ς καὶ Ααρων διὰ φωνη̃ς κυρίου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν αὐτοι̃ς κύριος (Ⅲ) - Numeravit Moyses, ut præceperat Dominus, (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃3 ויפקד אתם משה על פי יהוה כאשר צוה (Ⅴ)

And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
- Ce sont ici les fils de Lévi, d'après leurs noms: Guerschon, Kehath et Merari. - (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἠ̃σαν οὑ̃τοι οἱ υἱοὶ Λευι ἐξ ὀνομάτων αὐτω̃ν Γεδσων Κααθ καὶ Μεραρι (Ⅲ) - et inventi sunt filii Levi per nomina sua, Gerson et Caath et Merari. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃3 ויהיו אלה בני לוי בשמתם גרשון וקהת ומררי (Ⅴ)

And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.
- Voici les noms des fils de Guerschon, selon leurs familles: Libni et Schimeï. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ταυ̃τα τὰ ὀνόματα τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Γεδσων κατὰ δήμους αὐτω̃ν Λοβενι καὶ Σεμεϊ (Ⅲ) - Filii Gerson : Lebni et Semei. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃3 ואלה שמות בני גרשון למשפחתם לבני ושמעי (Ⅴ)

And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
- Voici les fils de Kehath, selon leurs familles: Amram, Jitsehar, Hébron et Uziel; (Ⅱ) - καὶ υἱοὶ Κααθ κατὰ δήμους αὐτω̃ν Αμραμ καὶ Ισσααρ Χεβρων καὶ Οζιηλ (Ⅲ) - Filii Caath : Amram et Jesaar, Hebron et Oziel. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃3 ובני קהת למשפחתם עמרם ויצהר חברון ועזיאל (Ⅴ)

And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.
- et les fils de Merari, selon leurs familles: Machli et Muschi. Ce sont là les familles de Lévi, selon les maisons de leurs pères. (Ⅱ) - καὶ υἱοὶ Μεραρι κατὰ δήμους αὐτω̃ν Μοολι καὶ Μουσι οὑ̃τοί εἰσιν δη̃μοι τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν κατ' οἴκους πατριω̃ν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Filii Merari : Moholi et Musi. (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃3 ובני מררי למשפחתם מחלי ומושי אלה הם משפחת הלוי לבית אבתם (Ⅴ)

Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.

(Ⅱ) - τω̨̃ Γεδσων δη̃μος του̃ Λοβενι καὶ δη̃μος του̃ Σεμεϊ οὑ̃τοι δη̃μοι του̃ Γεδσων (Ⅲ) - De Gerson fuere familiæ duæ, Lebnitica, et Semeitica : (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃3 לגרשון משפחת הלבני ומשפחת השמעי אלה הם משפחת הגרשני (Ⅴ)

Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.

(Ⅳ) - 22 ׃3 פקדיהם במספר כל זכר מבן חדש ומעלה פקדיהם שבעת אלפים וחמש מאות (Ⅴ)

The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.
- Les familles des Guerschonites campaient derrière le tabernacle à l'occident. (Ⅱ) - καὶ υἱοὶ Γεδσων ὀπίσω τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς παρὰ θάλασσαν παρεμβαλου̃σιν (Ⅲ) - Hi post tabernaculum metabuntur ad occidentem, (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃3 משפחת הגרשני אחרי המשכן יחנו ימה (Ⅴ)

And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.
- Le chef de la maison paternelle des Guerschonites était Éliasaph, fils de Laël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὁ ἄρχων οἴκου πατρια̃ς του̃ δήμου του̃ Γεδσων Ελισαφ υἱὸς Λαηλ (Ⅲ) - sub principe Eliasaph filio Laël. (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃3 ונשיא בית אב לגרשני אליסף בן לאל (Ⅴ)

And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
- Pour ce qui concerne la tente d'assignation, on remit aux soins des fils de Guerschon le tabernacle et la tente, la couverture, le rideau qui est à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation; (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἡ φυλακὴ υἱω̃ν Γεδσων ἐν τη̨̃ σκηνη̨̃ του̃ μαρτυρίου ἡ σκηνὴ καὶ τὸ κάλυμμα καὶ τὸ κατακάλυμμα τη̃ς θύρας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου (Ⅲ) - Et habebunt excubias in tabernaculo fœderis, (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃3 ומשמרת בני גרשון באהל מועד המשכן והאהל מכסהו ומסך פתח אהל מועד (Ⅴ)

And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.
- les toiles du parvis et le rideau de l'entrée du parvis, tout autour du tabernacle et de l'autel, et tous les cordages pour le service du tabernacle. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὰ ἱστία τη̃ς αὐλη̃ς καὶ τὸ καταπέτασμα τη̃ς πύλης τη̃ς αὐλη̃ς τη̃ς οὔσης ἐπὶ τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς καὶ τὰ κατάλοιπα πάντων τω̃ν ἔργων αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - ipsum tabernaculum et operimentum ejus, tentorium quod trahitur ante fores tecti fœderis, et cortinas atrii : tentorium quoque quod appenditur in introitu atrii tabernaculi, et quidquid ad ritum altaris pertinet, funes tabernaculi et omnia utensilia ejus. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃3 וקלעי החצר ואת מסך פתח החצר אשר על המשכן ועל המזבח סביב ואת מיתריו לכל עבדתו (Ⅴ)

And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
- De Kehath descendent la famille des Amramites, la famille des Jitseharites, la famille des Hébronites et la famille des Uziélites, formant les familles des Kehathites. (Ⅱ) - τω̨̃ Κααθ δη̃μος ὁ Αμραμις καὶ δη̃μος ὁ Σααρις καὶ δη̃μος ὁ Χεβρωνις καὶ δη̃μος ὁ Οζιηλις οὑ̃τοί εἰσιν δη̃μοι του̃ Κααθ (Ⅲ) - Cognatio Caath habebit populos Amramitas et Jesaaritas et Hebronitas et Ozielitas. Hæ sunt familiæ Caathitarum recensitæ per nomina sua. (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃3 ולקהת משפחת העמרמי ומשפחת היצהרי ומשפחת החברני ומשפחת העזיאלי אלה הם משפחת הקהתי (Ⅴ)

In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.
- En comptant tous les mâles depuis l'âge d'un mois et au-dessus, il y en eut huit mille six cents, qui furent chargés des soins du sanctuaire. (Ⅱ) - κατὰ ἀριθμὸν πα̃ν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ὀκτακισχίλιοι καὶ ἑξακόσιοι φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς τω̃ν ἁγίων (Ⅲ) - Omnes generis masculini ab uno mense et supra, octo millia sexcenti habebunt excubias sanctuarii, (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃3 במספר כל זכר מבן חדש ומעלה שמנת אלפים ושש מאות שמרי משמרת הקדש (Ⅴ)

The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.
- Les familles des fils de Kehath campaient au côté méridional du tabernacle. (Ⅱ) - οἱ δη̃μοι τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Κααθ παρεμβαλου̃σιν ἐκ πλαγίων τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς κατὰ λίβα (Ⅲ) - et castrametabuntur ad meridianam plagam. (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃3 משפחת בני קהת יחנו על ירך המשכן תימנה (Ⅴ)

And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
- Le chef de la maison paternelle des familles des Kehathites était Élitsaphan, fils d'Uziel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὁ ἄρχων οἴκου πατριω̃ν τω̃ν δήμων του̃ Κααθ Ελισαφαν υἱὸς Οζιηλ (Ⅲ) - Princepsque eorum erit Elisaphan filius Oziel : (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃3 ונשיא בית אב למשפחת הקהתי אליצפן[1] בן עזיאל (Ⅴ)

And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.
- On remit à leurs soins l'arche, la table, le chandelier, les autels, les ustensiles du sanctuaire, avec lesquels on fait le service, le voile et tout ce qui en dépend. And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.
- Le chef des chefs des Lévites était Éléazar, fils du sacrificateur Aaron; il avait la surveillance de ceux qui étaient chargés des soins du sanctuaire. Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.

(Ⅱ) - τω̨̃ Μεραρι δη̃μος ὁ Μοολι καὶ δη̃μος ὁ Μουσι οὑ̃τοί εἰσιν δη̃μοι Μεραρι (Ⅲ) - At vero de Merari erunt populi Moholitæ et Musitæ recensiti per nomina sua : (Ⅳ) - 33 ׃3 למררי משפחת המחלי ומשפחת המושי אלה הם משפחת מררי (Ⅴ)

And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.

And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.

(Ⅳ) - 35 ׃3 ונשיא בית אב למשפחת מררי צוריאל בן אביחיל על ירך המשכן יחנו צפנה (Ⅴ)

And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,
- On remit à la garde et aux soins des fils de Merari les planches du tabernacle, ses barres, ses colonnes et leurs bases, tous ses ustensiles et tout ce qui en dépend; (Ⅱ) - ἡ ἐπίσκεψις ἡ φυλακὴ υἱω̃ν Μεραρι τὰς κεφαλίδας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς καὶ τοὺς μοχλοὺς αὐτη̃ς καὶ τοὺς στύλους αὐτη̃ς καὶ τὰς βάσεις αὐτη̃ς καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰ ἔργα αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Erunt sub custodia eorum tabulæ tabernaculi et vectes, et columnæ ac bases earum, et omnia quæ ad cultum hujuscemodi pertinent : (Ⅳ) - 36 ׃3 ופקדת משמרת בני מררי קרשי המשכן ובריחיו ועמדיו ואדניו וכל כליו וכל עבדתו (Ⅴ)

And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.

(Ⅳ) - 37 ׃3 ועמדי החצר סביב ואדניהם ויתדתם ומיתריהם (Ⅴ)

But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
- Moïse, Aaron et ses fils campaient devant le tabernacle, à l'orient, devant la tente d'assignation, au levant; ils avaient la garde et le soin du sanctuaire, remis à la garde des enfants d'Israël; et l'étranger qui s'approchera sera puni de mort. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οἱ παρεμβάλλοντες κατὰ πρόσωπον τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου ἀπ' ἀνατολη̃ς Μωυση̃ς καὶ Ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτου̃ φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς του̃ ἁγίου εἰς τὰς φυλακὰς τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ ἁπτόμενος ἀποθανει̃ται (Ⅲ) - Castrametabuntur ante tabernaculum fœderis, id est, ad orientalem plagam, Moyses et Aaron cum filiis suis, habentes custodiam sanctuarii in medio filiorum Israël. Quisquis alienus accesserit, morietur. (Ⅳ) - 38 ׃3 והחנים לפני המשכן קדמה לפני אהל מועד מזרחה משה ואהרן ובניו שמרים משמרת המקדש למשמרת בני ישראל והזר הקרב יומת (Ⅴ)

All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.
- Tous les Lévites dont Moïse et Aaron firent le dénombrement sur l'ordre de l'Éternel, selon leurs familles, tous les mâles depuis l'âge d'un mois et au-dessus, furent vingt-deux mille. (Ⅱ) - πα̃σα ἡ ἐπίσκεψις τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν οὓς ἐπεσκέψατο Μωυση̃ς καὶ Ααρων διὰ φωνη̃ς κυρίου κατὰ δήμους αὐτω̃ν πα̃ν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω δύο καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες (Ⅲ) - Omnes Levitæ, quos numeraverunt Moyses et Aaron juxta præceptum Domini per familias suas in genere masculino a mense uno et supra, fuerunt viginti duo millia.\ (Ⅳ) - 39 ׃3 כל פקודי הלוים אשר פקד משה ואהרן[4] על פי יהוה למשפחתם כל זכר מבן חדש ומעלה שנים ועשרים אלף ס (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
- L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Fais le dénombrement de tous les premiers-nés mâles parmi les enfants d'Israël, depuis l'âge d'un mois et au-dessus, et compte les d'après leurs noms. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων ἐπίσκεψαι πα̃ν πρωτότοκον ἄρσεν τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω καὶ λαβὲ τὸν ἀριθμὸν ἐξ ὀνόματος (Ⅲ) - Et ait Dominus ad Moysen : Numera primogenitos sexus masculini de filiis Israël ab uno mense et supra, et habebis summam eorum. (Ⅳ) - 40 ׃3 ויאמר יהוה אל משה פקד כל בכר זכר לבני ישראל מבן חדש ומעלה ושא את מספר שמתם (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.
- Tu prendras les Lévites pour moi, l'Éternel, à la place de tous les premiers-nés des enfants d'Israël, et le bétail des Lévites à la place de tous les premiers-nés du bétail des enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ λήμψη̨ τοὺς Λευίτας ἐμοί ἐγὼ κύριος ἀντὶ πάντων τω̃ν πρωτοτόκων τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ τὰ κτήνη τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν ἀντὶ πάντων τω̃ν πρωτοτόκων ἐν τοι̃ς κτήνεσιν τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Tollesque Levitas mihi pro omni primogenito filiorum Israël : ego sum Dominus : et pecora eorum pro universis primogenitis pecorum filiorum Israël. (Ⅳ) - 41 ׃3 ולקחת את הלוים לי אני יהוה תחת כל בכר בבני ישראל ואת בהמת הלוים תחת כל בכור בבהמת בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

And Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.

And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen.
- Tous les premiers-nés, dont on fit le dénombrement, en comptant les noms, depuis l'âge d'un mois et au-dessus, furent vingt-deux mille deux cent soixante-treize. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.
- Prends les Lévites à la place de tous les premiers-nés des enfants d'Israël, et le bétail des Lévites à la place de leur bétail; et les Lévites m'appartiendront. Je suis l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - λαβὲ τοὺς Λευίτας ἀντὶ πάντων τω̃ν πρωτοτόκων τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ τὰ κτήνη τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν ἀντὶ τω̃ν κτηνω̃ν αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἔσονται ἐμοὶ οἱ Λευι̃ται ἐγὼ κύριος (Ⅲ) - Tolle Levitas pro primogenitis filiorum Israël, et pecora Levitarum pro pecoribus eorum, eruntque Levitæ mei. Ego sum Dominus. (Ⅳ) - 45 ׃3 קח את הלוים תחת כל בכור בבני ישראל ואת בהמת הלוים תחת בהמתם והיו לי הלוים אני יהוה (Ⅴ)

And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;
- Pour le rachat des deux cent soixante-treize qui dépassent le nombre des Lévites, parmi les premiers-nés des enfants d'Israël, (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὰ λύτρα τριω̃ν καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα καὶ διακοσίων οἱ πλεονάζοντες παρὰ τοὺς Λευίτας ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρωτοτόκων τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - In pretio autem ducentorum septuaginta trium, qui excedunt numerum Levitarum de primogenitis filiorum Israël, (Ⅳ) - 46 ׃3 ואת פדויי השלשה והשבעים והמאתים העדפים על הלוים מבכור בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)
- tu prendras cinq sicles par tête; tu les prendras selon le sicle du sanctuaire, qui est de vingt guéras. (Ⅱ) - καὶ λήμψη̨ πέντε σίκλους κατὰ κεφαλήν κατὰ τὸ δίδραχμον τὸ ἅγιον λήμψη̨ εἴκοσι ὀβολοὺς του̃ σίκλου (Ⅲ) - accipies quinque siclos per singula capita ad mensuram sanctuarii (siclus habet viginti obolos) : (Ⅳ) - 47 ׃3 ולקחת חמשת חמשת שקלים לגלגלת בשקל הקדש תקח עשרים גרה השקל (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.
- Tu donneras l'argent à Aaron et à ses fils, pour le rachat de ceux qui dépassent le nombre des Lévites. (Ⅱ) - καὶ δώσεις τὸ ἀργύριον Ααρων καὶ τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς αὐτου̃ λύτρα τω̃ν πλεοναζόντων ἐν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - dabisque pecuniam Aaron et filiis ejus pretium eorum qui supra sunt. (Ⅳ) - 48 ׃3 ונתתה הכסף לאהרן ולבניו פדויי העדפים בהם (Ⅴ)

And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:
- Moïse prit l'argent pour le rachat de ceux qui dépassaient le nombre des rachetés par les Lévites; (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔλαβεν Μωυση̃ς τὸ ἀργύριον τὰ λύτρα τω̃ν πλεοναζόντων εἰς τὴν ἐκλύτρωσιν τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Tulit igitur Moyses pecuniam eorum, qui fuerant amplius, et quos redemerant a Levitis, (Ⅳ) - 49 ׃3 ויקח משה את כסף הפדיום מאת העדפים על פדויי הלוים (Ⅴ)

Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
- il prit l'argent des premiers-nés des enfants d'Israël: mille trois cent soixante-cinq sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire. (Ⅱ) - παρὰ τω̃ν πρωτοτόκων τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἔλαβεν τὸ ἀργύριον χιλίους τριακοσίους ἑξήκοντα πέντε σίκλους κατὰ τὸν σίκλον τὸν ἅγιον (Ⅲ) - pro primogenitis filiorum Israël, mille trecentorum sexaginta quinque siclorum juxta pondus sanctuarii : (Ⅳ) - 50 ׃3 מאת בכור בני ישראל לקח את הכסף חמשה וששים ושלש מאות ואלף בשקל הקדש (Ⅴ)
