ἰδου̃σα δὲ Ραχηλ ὅτι οὐ τέτοκεν τω̨̃ Ιακωβ καὶ ἐζήλωσεν Ραχηλ τὴν ἀδελφὴν αὐτη̃ς καὶ εἰ̃πεν τω̨̃ Ιακωβ δός μοι τέκνα εἰ δὲ μή τελευτήσω ἐγώ
- Lorsque Rachel vit qu'elle ne donnait point d'enfants à Jacob, elle porta envie à sa soeur, et elle dit à Jacob: Donne-moi des enfants, ou je meurs! (Ⅱ) - And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die. (Ⅲ) - Cernens autem Rachel quod infecunda esset, invidit sorori suæ, et ait marito suo : Da mihi liberos, alioquin moriar. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃30 ותרא רחל כי לא ילדה ליעקב ותקנא רחל באחתה ותאמר אל יעקב הבה לי בנים ואם אין מתה אנכי (Ⅴ)

ἐθυμώθη δὲ Ιακωβ τη̨̃ Ραχηλ καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτη̨̃ μὴ ἀντὶ θεου̃ ἐγώ εἰμι ὃς ἐστέρησέν σε καρπὸν κοιλίας
- La colère de Jacob s'enflamma contre Rachel, et il dit: Suis-je à la place de Dieu, qui t'empêche d'être féconde? (Ⅱ) - And Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God's stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb? (Ⅲ) - Cui iratus respondit Jacob : Num pro Deo ego sum, qui privavit te fructu ventris tui ? (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃30 ויחר אף יעקב ברחל ויאמר התחת אלהים אנכי אשר מנע ממך פרי בטן (Ⅴ)

εἰ̃πεν δὲ Ραχηλ τω̨̃ Ιακωβ ἰδοὺ ἡ παιδίσκη μου Βαλλα εἴσελθε πρὸς αὐτήν καὶ τέξεται ἐπὶ τω̃ν γονάτων μου καὶ τεκνοποιήσομαι κἀγὼ ἐξ αὐτη̃ς
- Elle dit: Voici ma servante Bilha; va vers elle; qu'elle enfante sur mes genoux, et que par elle j'aie aussi des fils. (Ⅱ) - And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her. (Ⅲ) - At illa : Habeo, inquit, famulam Balam : ingredere ad illam, ut pariat super genua mea, et habeam ex illa filios. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃30 ותאמר הנה אמתי בלהה בא אליה ותלד על ברכי ואבנה גם אנכי ממנה (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτω̨̃ Βαλλαν τὴν παιδίσκην αὐτη̃ς αὐτω̨̃ γυναι̃κα εἰση̃λθεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτὴν Ιακωβ
- Et elle lui donna pour femme Bilha, sa servante; et Jacob alla vers elle. (Ⅱ) - And she gave him Bilhah her handmaid to wife: and Jacob went in unto her. (Ⅲ) - Deditque illi Balam in conjugium : quæ, (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃30 ותתן לו את בלהה שפחתה לאשה ויבא אליה יעקב (Ⅴ)

καὶ συνέλαβεν Βαλλα ἡ παιδίσκη Ραχηλ καὶ ἔτεκεν τω̨̃ Ιακωβ υἱόν
- Bilha devint enceinte, et enfanta un fils à Jacob. (Ⅱ) - And Bilhah conceived, and bare Jacob a son. (Ⅲ) - ingresso ad se viro, concepit, et peperit filium. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃30 ותהר בלהה ותלד ליעקב בן (Ⅴ)

καὶ εἰ̃πεν Ραχηλ ἔκρινέν μοι ὁ θεὸς καὶ ἐπήκουσεν τη̃ς φωνη̃ς μου καὶ ἔδωκέν μοι υἱόν διὰ του̃το ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Δαν
- Rachel dit: Dieu m'a rendu justice, il a entendu ma voix, et il m'a donné un fils. C'est pourquoi elle l'appela du nom de Dan. (Ⅱ) - And Rachel said, God hath judged me, and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me a son: therefore called she his name Dan. (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Rachel : Judicavit mihi Dominus, et exaudivit vocem meam, dans mihi filium, et idcirco appellavit nomen ejus Dan. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃30 ותאמר רחל דנני אלהים וגם שמע בקלי ויתן לי בן על כן קראה שמו דן (Ⅴ)

καὶ συνέλαβεν ἔτι Βαλλα ἡ παιδίσκη Ραχηλ καὶ ἔτεκεν υἱὸν δεύτερον τω̨̃ Ιακωβ
- Bilha, servante de Rachel, devint encore enceinte, et enfanta un second fils à Jacob. (Ⅱ) - And Bilhah Rachel's maid conceived again, and bare Jacob a second son. (Ⅲ) - Rursumque Bala concipiens, peperit alterum, (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃30 ותהר עוד ותלד בלהה שפחת רחל בן שני ליעקב (Ⅴ)

καὶ εἰ̃πεν Ραχηλ συνελάβετό μοι ὁ θεός καὶ συνανεστράφην τη̨̃ ἀδελφη̨̃ μου καὶ ἠδυνάσθην καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Νεφθαλι
- Rachel dit: J'ai lutté divinement contre ma soeur, et j'ai vaincu. Et elle l'appela du nom de Nephthali. (Ⅱ) - And Rachel said, With great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali. (Ⅲ) - pro quo ait Rachel : Comparavit me Deus cum sorore mea, et invalui : vocavitque eum Nephthali. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃30 ותאמר רחל נפתולי אלהים נפתלתי עם אחתי גם יכלתי ותקרא שמו נפתלי (Ⅴ)

εἰ̃δεν δὲ Λεια ὅτι ἔστη του̃ τίκτειν καὶ ἔλαβεν Ζελφαν τὴν παιδίσκην αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν τω̨̃ Ιακωβ γυναι̃κα
- Léa voyant qu'elle avait cessé d'enfanter, prit Zilpa, sa servante, et la donna pour femme à Jacob. (Ⅱ) - When Leah saw that she had left bearing, she took Zilpah her maid, and gave her Jacob to wife. (Ⅲ) - Sentiens Lia quod parere desiisset, Zelpham ancillam suam marito tradidit. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃30 ותרא לאה כי עמדה מלדת ותקח את זלפה שפחתה ותתן אתה ליעקב לאשה (Ⅴ)

- Léa dit: Quel bonheur! Et elle l'appela du nom de Gad. (Ⅱ) - And Leah said, A troop cometh: and she called his name Gad. (Ⅲ) - dixit : Feliciter, et idcirco vocavit nomen ejus Gad. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃30 ותאמר לאה *בגד **בא **גד ותקרא את שמו גד (Ⅴ)

- Zilpa, servante de Léa, enfanta un second fils à Jacob. (Ⅱ) - And Zilpah Leah's maid bare Jacob a second son. (Ⅲ) - Peperit quoque Zelpha alterum. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃30 ותלד זלפה שפחת לאה בן שני ליעקב (Ⅴ)

καὶ εἰ̃πεν Λεια μακαρία ἐγώ ὅτι μακαρίζουσίν με αἱ γυναι̃κες καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Ασηρ
- Léa dit: Que je suis heureuse! car les filles me diront heureuse. Et elle l'appela du nom d'Aser. (Ⅱ) - And Leah said, Happy am I, for the daughters will call me blessed: and she called his name Asher. (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Lia : Hoc pro beatitudine mea : beatam quippe me dicent mulieres : propterea appellavit eum Aser. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃30 ותאמר לאה באשרי כי אשרוני בנות ותקרא את שמו אשר (Ⅴ)

ἐπορεύθη δὲ Ρουβην ἐν ἡμέραις θερισμου̃ πυρω̃ν καὶ εὑ̃ρεν μη̃λα μανδραγόρου ἐν τω̨̃ ἀγρω̨̃ καὶ ἤνεγκεν αὐτὰ πρὸς Λειαν τὴν μητέρα αὐτου̃ εἰ̃πεν δὲ Ραχηλ τη̨̃ Λεια δός μοι τω̃ν μανδραγορω̃ν του̃ υἱου̃ σου
- Ruben sortit au temps de la moisson des blés, et trouva des mandragores dans les champs. Il les apporta à Léa, sa mère. Alors Rachel dit à Léa: Donne moi, je te prie, des mandragores de ton fils. (Ⅱ) - And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son's mandrakes. (Ⅲ) - Egressus autem Ruben tempore messis triticeæ in agrum, reperit mandragoras, quas matri Liæ detulit. Dixitque Rachel : Da mihi partem de mandragoris filii tui. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃30 וילך ראובן בימי קציר חטים וימצא דודאים בשדה ויבא אתם אל לאה אמו ותאמר רחל אל לאה תני נא לי מדודאי בנך (Ⅴ)

εἰ̃πεν δὲ Λεια οὐχ ἱκανόν σοι ὅτι ἔλαβες τὸν ἄνδρα μου μὴ καὶ τοὺς μανδραγόρας του̃ υἱου̃ μου λήμψη̨ εἰ̃πεν δὲ Ραχηλ οὐχ οὕτως κοιμηθήτω μετὰ σου̃ τὴν νύκτα ταύτην ἀντὶ τω̃ν μανδραγορω̃ν του̃ υἱου̃ σου
- Elle lui répondit: Est-ce peu que tu aies pris mon mari, pour que tu prennes aussi les mandragores de mon fils? Et Rachel dit: Eh bien! il couchera avec toi cette nuit pour les mandragores de ton fils. (Ⅱ) - And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son's mandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son's mandrakes. (Ⅲ) - Illa respondit : Parumne tibi videtur quod præripueris maritum mihi, nisi etiam mandragoras filii mei tuleris ? Ait Rachel : Dormiat tecum hac nocte pro mandragoris filii tui. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃30 ותאמר לה המעט קחתך את אישי ולקחת גם את דודאי בני ותאמר רחל לכן ישכב עמך הלילה תחת דודאי בנך (Ⅴ)

εἰση̃λθεν δὲ Ιακωβ ἐξ ἀγρου̃ ἑσπέρας καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν Λεια εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτω̨̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρός με εἰσελεύση̨ σήμερον μεμίσθωμαι γάρ σε ἀντὶ τω̃ν μανδραγορω̃ν του̃ υἱου̃ μου καὶ ἐκοιμήθη μετ' αὐτη̃ς τὴν νύκτα ἐκείνην
- Le soir, comme Jacob revenait des champs, Léa sortit à sa rencontre, et dit: C'est vers moi que tu viendras, car je t'ai acheté pour les mandragores de mon fils. Et il coucha avec elle cette nuit. (Ⅱ) - And Jacob came out of the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, Thou must come in unto me; for surely I have hired thee with my son's mandrakes. And he lay with her that night. (Ⅲ) - Redeuntique ad vesperam Jacob de agro, egressa est in occursum ejus Lia, et Ad me, inquit, intrabis : quia mercede conduxi te pro mandragoris filii mei. Dormivitque cum ea nocte illa. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃30 ויבא יעקב מן השדה בערב ותצא לאה לקראתו ותאמר אלי תבוא כי שכר שכרתיך בדודאי בני וישכב עמה בלילה הוא (Ⅴ)

- Dieu exauça Léa, qui devint enceinte, et enfanta un cinquième fils à Jacob. (Ⅱ) - And God hearkened unto Leah, and she conceived, and bare Jacob the fifth son. (Ⅲ) - Et exaudivit Deus preces ejus, concepitque et peperit filium quintum, (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃30 וישמע אלהים אל לאה ותהר ותלד ליעקב בן חמישי (Ⅴ)

καὶ εἰ̃πεν Λεια ἔδωκεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν μισθόν μου ἀνθ' οὑ̃ ἔδωκα τὴν παιδίσκην μου τω̨̃ ἀνδρί μου καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Ισσαχαρ ὅ ἐστιν Μισθός
- Léa dit: Dieu m'a donné mon salaire parce que j'ai donné ma servante à mon mari. Et elle l'appela du nom d'Issacar. (Ⅱ) - And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name Issachar. (Ⅲ) - et ait : Dedit Deus mercedem mihi, quia dedi ancillam meam viro meo : appellavitque nomen ejus Issachar. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃30 ותאמר לאה נתן אלהים שכרי אשר נתתי שפחתי לאישי ותקרא שמו יששכר (Ⅴ)

- Léa devint encore enceinte, et enfanta un sixième fils à Jacob. (Ⅱ) - And Leah conceived again, and bare Jacob the sixth son. (Ⅲ) - Rursum Lia concipiens, peperit sextum filium, (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃30 ותהר עוד לאה ותלד בן ששי ליעקב[1] (Ⅴ)

καὶ εἰ̃πεν Λεια δεδώρηταί μοι ὁ θεὸς δω̃ρον καλόν ἐν τω̨̃ νυ̃ν καιρω̨̃ αἱρετιει̃ με ὁ ἀνήρ μου ἔτεκον γὰρ αὐτω̨̃ υἱοὺς ἕξ καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Ζαβουλων
- Léa dit: Dieu m'a fait un beau don; cette fois, mon mari habitera avec moi, car je lui ai enfanté six fils. Et elle l'appela du nom de Zabulon. (Ⅱ) - And Leah said, God hath endued me with a good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because I have born him six sons: and she called his name Zebulun. (Ⅲ) - et ait : Dotavit me Deus dote bona : etiam hac vice mecum erit maritus meus, eo quod genuerim ei sex filios : et idcirco appellavit nomen ejus Zabulon. (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃30 ותאמר לאה זבדני אלהים אתי זבד טוב הפעם יזבלני אישי כי ילדתי לו ששה בנים ותקרא את שמו זבלון (Ⅴ)

καὶ μετὰ του̃το ἔτεκεν θυγατέρα καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτη̃ς Δινα
- Ensuite, elle enfanta une fille, qu'elle appela du nom de Dina. (Ⅱ) - And afterwards she bare a daughter, and called her name Dinah. (Ⅲ) - Post quem peperit filiam, nomine Dinam. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃30 ואחר ילדה בת ותקרא את שמה דינה (Ⅴ)

ἐμνήσθη δὲ ὁ θεὸς τη̃ς Ραχηλ καὶ ἐπήκουσεν αὐτη̃ς ὁ θεὸς καὶ ἀνέω̨ξεν αὐτη̃ς τὴν μήτραν
- Dieu se souvint de Rachel, il l'exauça, et il la rendit féconde. (Ⅱ) - And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. (Ⅲ) - Recordatus quoque Dominus Rachelis, exaudivit eam, et aperuit vulvam ejus. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃30 ויזכר אלהים את רחל וישמע אליה אלהים ויפתח את רחמה (Ⅴ)

καὶ συλλαβου̃σα ἔτεκεν τω̨̃ Ιακωβ υἱόν εἰ̃πεν δὲ Ραχηλ ἀφει̃λεν ὁ θεός μου τὸ ὄνειδος
- Elle devint enceinte, et enfanta un fils, et elle dit: Dieu a enlevé mon opprobre. (Ⅱ) - And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach: (Ⅲ) - Quæ concepit, et peperit filium, dicens : Abstulit Deus opprobrium meum. (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃30 ותהר ותלד בן ותאמר אסף אלהים את חרפתי (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Ιωσηφ λέγουσα προσθέτω ὁ θεός μοι υἱὸν ἕτερον
- Et elle lui donna le nom de Joseph, en disant: Que l'Éternel m'ajoute un autre fils! (Ⅱ) - And she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son. (Ⅲ) - Et vocavit nomen ejus Joseph, dicens : Addat mihi Dominus filium alterum. (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃30 ותקרא את שמו יוסף לאמר יסף יהוה לי בן אחר (Ⅴ)

ἐγένετο δὲ ὡς ἔτεκεν Ραχηλ τὸν Ιωσηφ εἰ̃πεν Ιακωβ τω̨̃ Λαβαν ἀπόστειλόν με ἵνα ἀπέλθω εἰς τὸν τόπον μου καὶ εἰς τὴν γη̃ν μου
- Lorsque Rachel eut enfanté Joseph, Jacob dit à Laban: Laisse-moi partir, pour que je m'en aille chez moi, dans mon pays. (Ⅱ) - And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country. (Ⅲ) - Nato autem Joseph, dixit Jacob socero suo : Dimitte me ut revertar in patriam, et ad terram meam. (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃30 ויהי כאשר ילדה רחל את יוסף ויאמר יעקב אל לבן שלחני ואלכה אל מקומי ולארצי (Ⅴ)

ἀπόδος τὰς γυναι̃κάς μου καὶ τὰ παιδία περὶ ὡ̃ν δεδούλευκά σοι ἵνα ἀπέλθω σὺ γὰρ γινώσκεις τὴν δουλείαν ἣν δεδούλευκά σοι
- Donne-moi mes femmes et mes enfants, pour lesquels je t'ai servi, et je m'en irai; car tu sais quel service j'ai fait pour toi. (Ⅱ) - Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee. (Ⅲ) - Da mihi uxores, et liberos meos, pro quibus servivi tibi, ut abeam : tu nosti servitutem qua servivi tibi.\ (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃30 תנה את נשי ואת ילדי אשר עבדתי אתך בהן ואלכה כי אתה ידעת את עבדתי אשר עבדתיך (Ⅴ)

εἰ̃πεν δὲ αὐτω̨̃ Λαβαν εἰ εὑ̃ρον χάριν ἐναντίον σου οἰωνισάμην ἄν εὐλόγησεν γάρ με ὁ θεὸς τη̨̃ ση̨̃ εἰσόδω̨
- Laban lui dit: Puissé-je trouver grâce à tes yeux! Je vois bien que l'Éternel m'a béni à cause de toi; (Ⅱ) - And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favor in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake. (Ⅲ) - Ait illi Laban : Inveniam gratiam in conspectu tuo, experimento didici, quia benedixerit mihi Deus propter te : (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃30 ויאמר אליו לבן אם נא מצאתי חן בעיניך נחשתי ויברכני יהוה בגללך (Ⅴ)

διάστειλον τὸν μισθόν σου πρός με καὶ δώσω
- fixe-moi ton salaire, et je te le donnerai. (Ⅱ) - And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it. (Ⅲ) - constitue mercedem tuam quam dem tibi. (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃30 ויאמר נקבה שכרך עלי ואתנה (Ⅴ)

εἰ̃πεν δὲ αὐτω̨̃ Ιακωβ σὺ γινώσκεις ἃ δεδούλευκά σοι καὶ ὅσα ἠ̃ν κτήνη σου μετ' ἐμου̃
- Jacob lui dit: Tu sais comment je t'ai servi, et ce qu'est devenu ton troupeau avec moi; (Ⅱ) - And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me. (Ⅲ) - At ille respondit : Tu nosti quomodo servierim tibi, et quanta in manibus meis fuerit possessio tua. (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃30 ויאמר אליו אתה ידעת את אשר עבדתיך ואת אשר היה מקנך אתי (Ⅴ)

μικρὰ γὰρ ἠ̃ν ὅσα σοι ἠ̃ν ἐναντίον ἐμου̃ καὶ ηὐξήθη εἰς πλη̃θος καὶ ηὐλόγησέν σε κύριος ἐπὶ τω̨̃ ποδί μου νυ̃ν οὐ̃ν πότε ποιήσω κἀγὼ ἐμαυτω̨̃ οἰ̃κον
- car le peu que tu avais avant moi s'est beaucoup accru, et l'Éternel t'a béni sur mes pas. Maintenant, quand travaillerai-je aussi pour ma maison? καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Λαβαν τί σοι δώσω εἰ̃πεν δὲ αὐτω̨̃ Ιακωβ οὐ δώσεις μοι οὐθέν ἐὰν ποιήση̨ς μοι τὸ ῥη̃μα του̃το πάλιν ποιμανω̃ τὰ πρόβατά σου καὶ φυλάξω
- Laban dit: Que te donnerai-je? Et Jacob répondit: Tu ne me donneras rien. Si tu consens à ce que je vais te dire, je ferai paître encore ton troupeau, et je le garderai. (Ⅱ) - And he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock. (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Laban : Quid tibi dabo ? At ille ait : Nihil volo : sed si feceris quod postulo, iterum pascam, et custodiam pecora tua. παρελθάτω πάντα τὰ πρόβατά σου σήμερον καὶ διαχώρισον ἐκει̃θεν πα̃ν πρόβατον φαιὸν ἐν τοι̃ς ἀρνάσιν καὶ πα̃ν διάλευκον καὶ ῥαντὸν ἐν ται̃ς αἰξίν ἔσται μοι μισθός
- Je parcourrai aujourd'hui tout ton troupeau; mets à part parmi les brebis tout agneau tacheté et marqueté et tout agneau noir, et parmi les chèvres tout ce qui est marqueté et tacheté. Ce sera mon salaire. (Ⅱ) - I will pass through all thy flock to day, removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and of such shall be my hire. (Ⅲ) - Gyra omnes greges tuos, et separa cunctas oves varias, et sparso vellere ; quodcumque furvum, et maculosum, variumque fuerit, tam in ovibus quam in capris, erit merces mea. (Ⅳ) - 32 ׃30 אעבר בכל צאנך היום הסר משם כל שה נקד וטלוא וכל שה חום בכשבים וטלוא ונקד בעזים והיה שכרי (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐπακούσεταί μοι ἡ δικαιοσύνη μου ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ αὔριον ὅτι ἐστὶν ὁ μισθός μου ἐνώπιόν σου πα̃ν ὃ ἐὰν μὴ ἠ̨̃ ῥαντὸν καὶ διάλευκον ἐν ται̃ς αἰξὶν καὶ φαιὸν ἐν τοι̃ς ἀρνάσιν κεκλεμμένον ἔσται παρ' ἐμοί
- Ma droiture répondra pour moi demain, quand tu viendras voir mon salaire; tout ce qui ne sera pas tacheté et marqueté parmi les chèvres, et noir parmi les agneaux, ce sera de ma part un vol. (Ⅱ) - So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me. (Ⅲ) - Respondebitque mihi cras justitia mea, quando placiti tempus advenerit coram te : et omnia quæ non fuerint varia, et maculosa, et furva, tam in ovibus quam in capris, furti me arguent. (Ⅳ) - 33 ׃30 וענתה בי צדקתי ביום מחר כי תבוא על שכרי לפניך כל אשר איננו נקד וטלוא בעזים וחום בכשבים גנוב הוא אתי (Ⅴ)

- Laban dit: Eh bien! qu'il en soit selon ta parole. (Ⅱ) - And Laban said, Behold, I would it might be according to thy word. (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Laban : Gratum habeo quod petis. (Ⅳ) - 34 ׃30 ויאמר לבן הן לו יהי כדברך (Ⅴ)

καὶ διέστειλεν ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ τοὺς τράγους τοὺς ῥαντοὺς καὶ τοὺς διαλεύκους καὶ πάσας τὰς αἰ̃γας τὰς ῥαντὰς καὶ τὰς διαλεύκους καὶ πα̃ν ὃ ἠ̃ν λευκὸν ἐν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ πα̃ν ὃ ἠ̃ν φαιὸν ἐν τοι̃ς ἀρνάσιν καὶ ἔδωκεν διὰ χειρὸς τω̃ν υἱω̃ν αὐτου̃
- Ce même jour, il mit à part les boucs rayés et marquetés, toutes les chèvres tachetées et marquetées, toutes celles où il y avait du blanc, et tout ce qui était noir parmi les brebis. Il les remit entre les mains de ses fils. (Ⅱ) - And he removed that day the he goats that were ring-streaked and spotted, and all the she goats that were speckled and spotted, and every one that had some white in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons. (Ⅲ) - Et separavit in die illa capras, et oves, et hircos, et arietes varios, atque maculosos : cunctum autem gregem unicolorem, id est albi et nigri velleris, tradidit in manu filiorum suorum. (Ⅳ) - 35 ׃30 ויסר ביום ההוא את התישים העקדים והטלאים ואת כל העזים הנקדות והטלאת כל אשר לבן בו וכל חום בכשבים ויתן ביד בניו (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἀπέστησεν ὁδὸν τριω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν ἀνὰ μέσον αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον Ιακωβ Ιακωβ δὲ ἐποίμαινεν τὰ πρόβατα Λαβαν τὰ ὑπολειφθέντα
- Puis il mit l'espace de trois journées de chemin entre lui et Jacob; et Jacob fit paître le reste du troupeau de Laban. (Ⅱ) - And he set three days' journey betwixt himself and Jacob: and Jacob fed the rest of Laban's flocks. (Ⅲ) - Et posuit spatium itineris trium dierum inter se et generum, qui pascebat reliquos greges ejus. (Ⅳ) - 36 ׃30 וישם דרך שלשת ימים בינו ובין יעקב ויעקב רעה את צאן לבן הנותרת (Ⅴ)

ἔλαβεν δὲ ἑαυτω̨̃ Ιακωβ ῥάβδον στυρακίνην χλωρὰν καὶ καρυίνην καὶ πλατάνου καὶ ἐλέπισεν αὐτὰς Ιακωβ λεπίσματα λευκὰ περισύρων τὸ χλωρόν ἐφαίνετο δὲ ἐπὶ ται̃ς ῥάβδοις τὸ λευκόν ὃ ἐλέπισεν ποικίλον
- Jacob prit des branches vertes de peuplier, d'amandier et de platane; il y pela des bandes blanches, mettant à nu le blanc qui était sur les branches. (Ⅱ) - And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chestnut tree; and pilled white streaks in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods. (Ⅲ) - Tollens ergo Jacob virgas populeas virides, et amygdalinas, et ex platanis, ex parte decorticavit eas : detractisque corticibus, in his, quæ spoliata fuerant, candor apparuit : illa vero quæ integra fuerant, viridia permanserunt : atque in hunc modum color effectus est varius. (Ⅳ) - 37 ׃30 ויקח לו יעקב מקל לבנה לח ולוז וערמון[1] ויפצל בהן פצלות לבנות מחשף הלבן אשר על המקלות (Ⅴ)

καὶ παρέθηκεν τὰς ῥάβδους ἃς ἐλέπισεν ἐν ται̃ς ληνοι̃ς τω̃ν ποτιστηρίων του̃ ὕδατος ἵνα ὡς ἂν ἔλθωσιν τὰ πρόβατα πιει̃ν ἐνώπιον τω̃ν ῥάβδων ἐλθόντων αὐτω̃ν εἰς τὸ πιει̃ν
- Puis il plaça les branches, qu'il avait pelées, dans les auges, dans les abreuvoirs, sous les yeux des brebis qui venaient boire, pour qu'elles entrassent en chaleur en venant boire. (Ⅱ) - And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink. (Ⅲ) - Posuitque eas in canalibus, ubi effundebatur aqua : ut cum venissent greges ad bibendum, ante oculos haberent virgas, et in aspectu earum conciperent. (Ⅳ) - 38 ׃30 ויצג את המקלות אשר פצל ברהטים בשקתות המים אשר תבאן הצאן לשתות לנכח הצאן ויחמנה בבאן לשתות (Ⅴ)

ἐγκισσήσωσιν τὰ πρόβατα εἰς τὰς ῥάβδους καὶ ἔτικτον τὰ πρόβατα διάλευκα καὶ ποικίλα καὶ σποδοειδη̃ ῥαντά
- Les brebis entraient en chaleur près des branches, et elles faisaient des petits rayés, tachetés et marquetés. (Ⅱ) - And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ring-streaked, speckled, and spotted. (Ⅲ) - Factumque est ut in ipso calore coitus, oves intuerentur virgas, et parerent maculosa, et varia, et diverso colore respersa. (Ⅳ) - 39 ׃30 ויחמו הצאן אל המקלות ותלדן הצאן עקדים נקדים וטלאים (Ⅴ)

τοὺς δὲ ἀμνοὺς διέστειλεν Ιακωβ καὶ ἔστησεν ἐναντίον τω̃ν προβάτων κριὸν διάλευκον καὶ πα̃ν ποικίλον ἐν τοι̃ς ἀμνοι̃ς καὶ διεχώρισεν ἑαυτω̨̃ ποίμνια καθ' ἑαυτὸν καὶ οὐκ ἔμιξεν αὐτὰ εἰς τὰ πρόβατα Λαβαν
- Jacob séparait les agneaux, et il mettait ensemble ce qui était rayé et tout ce qui était noir dans le troupeau de Laban. Il se fit ainsi des troupeaux à part, qu'il ne réunit point au troupeau de Laban. (Ⅱ) - And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ring-streaked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban's cattle. (Ⅲ) - Divisitque gregem Jacob, et posuit virgas in canalibus ante oculos arietum : erant autem alba et nigra quæque, Laban ; cetera vero, Jacob, separatis inter se gregibus. (Ⅳ) - 40 ׃30 והכשבים הפריד יעקב ויתן פני הצאן אל עקד וכל חום בצאן לבן וישת לו עדרים לבדו ולא שתם על צאן לבן (Ⅴ)

ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τω̨̃ καιρω̨̃ ὡ̨̃ ἐνεκίσσησεν τὰ πρόβατα ἐν γαστρὶ λαμβάνοντα ἔθηκεν Ιακωβ τὰς ῥάβδους ἐναντίον τω̃ν προβάτων ἐν ται̃ς ληνοι̃ς του̃ ἐγκισση̃σαι αὐτὰ κατὰ τὰς ῥάβδους
- Toutes les fois que les brebis vigoureuses entraient en chaleur, Jacob plaçait les branches dans les auges, sous les yeux des brebis, pour qu'elles entrassent en chaleur près des branches. (Ⅱ) - And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods. (Ⅲ) - Igitur quando primo tempore ascendebantur oves, ponebat Jacob virgas in canalibus aquarum ante oculos arietum et ovium, ut in earum contemplatione conciperent : (Ⅳ) - 41 ׃30 והיה בכל יחם הצאן המקשרות ושם יעקב את המקלות לעיני הצאן ברהטים ליחמנה במקלות (Ⅴ)

ἡνίκα δ' ἂν ἔτεκον τὰ πρόβατα οὐκ ἐτίθει ἐγένετο δὲ τὰ ἄσημα του̃ Λαβαν τὰ δὲ ἐπίσημα του̃ Ιακωβ
- Quand les brebis étaient chétives, il ne les plaçait point; de sorte que les chétives étaient pour Laban, et les vigoureuses pour Jacob. (Ⅱ) - But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's. (Ⅲ) - quando vero serotina admissura erat, et conceptus extremus, non ponebat eas. Factaque sunt ea quæ erant serotina, Laban : et quæ primi temporis, Jacob. (Ⅳ) - 42 ׃30 ובהעטיף הצאן לא ישים והיה העטפים ללבן והקשרים ליעקב (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἐπλούτησεν ὁ ἄνθρωπος σφόδρα σφόδρα καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτω̨̃ κτήνη πολλὰ καὶ βόες καὶ παι̃δες καὶ παιδίσκαι καὶ κάμηλοι καὶ ὄνοι
- Cet homme devint de plus en plus riche; il eut du menu bétail en abondance, des servantes et des serviteurs, des chameaux et des ânes. (Ⅱ) - And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses. (Ⅲ) - Ditatusque est homo ultra modum, et habuit greges multos, ancillas et servos, camelos et asinos. (Ⅳ) - 43 ׃30 ויפרץ האיש מאד מאד ויהי לו צאן רבות ושפחות ועבדים וגמלים וחמרים (Ⅴ)
