Hoc verbum quod factum est ad Jeremiam a Domino, dicens :
- La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Éternel, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, (Ⅲ) - 1 ׃30 הדבר אשר היה אל ירמיהו מאת יהוה לאמר (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus Deus Israël, dicens : Scribe tibi omnia verba quæ locutus sum ad te, in libro.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Écris dans un livre toutes les paroles que je t'ai dites. (Ⅱ) - Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book. (Ⅲ) - 2 ׃30 כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל לאמר כתב לך את כל הדברים אשר דברתי אליך אל ספר (Ⅴ)

Ecce enim dies veniunt, dicit Dominus, et convertam conversionem populi mei Israël et Juda, ait Dominus : et convertam eos ad terram quam dedi patribus eorum, et possidebunt eam.
- Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, où je ramènerai les captifs de mon peuple d'Israël et de Juda, dit l'Éternel; je les ramènerai dans le pays que j'ai donné à leurs pères, et ils le posséderont. (Ⅱ) - For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. (Ⅲ) - 3 ׃30 כי הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה ושבתי את שבות עמי ישראל ויהודה אמר יהוה והשבתים אל הארץ אשר נתתי לאבותם וירשוה פ (Ⅴ)

Et hæc verba quæ locutus est Dominus ad Israël et ad Judam :
- Ce sont ici les paroles que l'Éternel a prononcées sur Israël et sur Juda. (Ⅱ) - And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. (Ⅲ) - 4 ׃30 ואלה הדברים אשר דבר יהוה אל ישראל ואל יהודה (Ⅴ)

Quoniam hæc dicit Dominus :/ Vocem terroris audivimus :/ formido, et non est pax./
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Nous entendons des cris d'effroi; C'est l'épouvante, ce n'est pas la paix. (Ⅱ) - For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. (Ⅲ) - 5 ׃30 כי כה אמר יהוה קול חרדה שמענו פחד ואין שלום (Ⅴ)

Interrogate, et videte si generat masculus :/ quare ergo vidi omnis viri manum/ super lumbum suum, quasi parturientis,/ et conversæ sunt universæ facies in auruginem ?/
- Informez-vous, et regardez si un mâle enfante! Pourquoi vois-je tous les hommes les mains sur leurs reins, Comme une femme en travail? Pourquoi tous les visages sont-ils devenus pâles? (Ⅱ) - Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? (Ⅲ) - 6 ׃30 שאלו נא וראו אם ילד זכר מדוע ראיתי כל גבר ידיו על חלציו כיולדה ונהפכו כל פנים לירקון (Ⅴ)

Væ ! quia magna dies illa,/ nec est similis ejus :/ tempusque tribulationis est Jacob,/ et ex ipso salvabitur./
- Malheur! car ce jour est grand; Il n'y en a point eu de semblable. C'est un temps d'angoisse pour Jacob; Mais il en sera délivré. (Ⅱ) - Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. (Ⅲ) - 7 ׃30 הוי כי גדול היום ההוא מאין כמהו ועת צרה היא ליעקב וממנה יושע (Ⅴ)

Et erit in die illa, ait Dominus exercituum :/ conteram jugum ejus de collo tuo,/ et vincula ejus dirumpam,/ et non dominabuntur ei amplius alieni :/
- En ce jour-là, dit l'Éternel des armées, Je briserai son joug de dessus ton cou, Je romprai tes liens, Et des étrangers ne t'assujettiront plus. (Ⅱ) - For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: (Ⅲ) - 8 ׃30 והיה ביום ההוא נאם יהוה צבאות אשבר עלו מעל צוארך ומוסרותיך אנתק ולא יעבדו בו עוד זרים (Ⅴ)

sed servient Domino Deo suo,/ et David regi suo,/ quem suscitabo eis./
- Ils serviront l'Éternel, leur Dieu, Et David, leur roi, que je leur susciterai. (Ⅱ) - But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them. (Ⅲ) - 9 ׃30 ועבדו את יהוה אלהיהם ואת דוד מלכם אשר אקים להם ס (Ⅴ)

Tu ergo ne timeas, serve meus Jacob, ait Dominus,/ neque paveas, Israël :/ quia ecce ego salvabo te de terra longinqua,/ et semen tuum de terra captivitatis eorum :/ et revertetur Jacob, et quiescet,/ et cunctis affluet bonis, et non erit quem formidet :/
- Et toi, mon serviteur Jacob, ne crains pas, dit l'Éternel; Ne t'effraie pas, Israël! Car je te délivrerai de la terre lointaine, Je délivrerai ta postérité du pays où elle est captive; Jacob reviendra, il jouira du repos et de la tranquillité, Et il n'y aura personne pour le troubler. (Ⅱ) - Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid. (Ⅲ) - 10 ׃30 ואתה אל תירא עבדי יעקב נאם יהוה ואל תחת ישראל כי הנני מושיעך מרחוק ואת זרעך מארץ שבים ושב יעקב ושקט ושאנן ואין מחריד (Ⅴ)

quoniam tecum ego sum, ait Dominus, ut salvem te./ Faciam enim consummationem in cunctis gentibus/ in quibus dispersi te :/ te autem non faciam in consummationem :/ sed castigabo te in judicio,/ ut non videaris tibi innoxius./
- Car je suis avec toi, dit l'Éternel, pour te délivrer; J'anéantirai toutes les nations parmi lesquelles je t'ai dispersé, Mais toi, je ne t'anéantirai pas; Je te châtierai avec équité, Je ne puis pas te laisser impuni. (Ⅱ) - For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished. (Ⅲ) - 11 ׃30 כי אתך אני נאם יהוה להושיעך כי אעשה כלה בכל הגוים אשר הפצותיך שם אך אתך לא אעשה כלה ויסרתיך למשפט ונקה לא אנקך פ (Ⅴ)

Quia hæc dicit Dominus :/ Insanabilis fractura tua ;/ pessima plaga tua :/
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Ta blessure est grave, Ta plaie est douloureuse. (Ⅱ) - For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous. (Ⅲ) - 12 ׃30 כי כה אמר יהוה אנוש לשברך נחלה מכתך (Ⅴ)

non est qui judicet judicium tuum ad alligandum :/ curationum utilitas non est tibi./
- Nul ne défend ta cause, pour bander ta plaie; Tu n'as ni remède, ni moyen de guérison. (Ⅱ) - There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines. (Ⅲ) - 13 ׃30 אין דן דינך למזור רפאות תעלה אין לך (Ⅴ)

Omnes amatores tui obliti sunt tui,/ teque non quærent :/ plaga enim inimici percussi te castigatione crudeli :/ propter multitudinem iniquitatis tuæ dura facta sunt peccata tua./
- Tous ceux qui t'aimaient t'oublient, Aucun ne prend souci de toi; Car je t'ai frappée comme frappe un ennemi, Je t'ai châtiée avec violence, A cause de la multitude de tes iniquités, Du grand nombre de tes péchés. (Ⅱ) - All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased. (Ⅲ) - 14 ׃30 כל מאהביך שכחוך אותך לא ידרשו כי מכת אויב הכיתיך מוסר אכזרי על רב עונך עצמו חטאתיך (Ⅴ)

Quid clamas super contritione tua ?/ insanabilis est dolor tuus :/ propter multitudinem iniquitatis tuæ,/ et propter dura peccata tua,/ feci hæc tibi./
- Pourquoi te plaindre de ta blessure, De la douleur que cause ton mal? C'est à cause de la multitude de tes iniquités, Du grand nombre de tes péchés, Que je t'ai fait souffrir ces choses. (Ⅱ) - Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee. (Ⅲ) - 15 ׃30 מה תזעק על שברך אנוש מכאבך על רב עונך עצמו חטאתיך עשיתי אלה לך (Ⅴ)

Propterea omnes qui comedunt te devorabuntur,/ et universi hostes tui in captivitatem ducentur :/ et qui te vastant vastabuntur,/ cunctosque prædatores tuos dabo in prædam./
- Cependant, tous ceux qui te dévorent seront dévorés, Et tout tes ennemis, tous, iront en captivité; Ceux qui te dépouillent seront dépouillés, Et j'abandonnerai au pillage tous ceux qui te pillent. (Ⅱ) - Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey. (Ⅲ) - 16 ׃30 לכן כל אכליך יאכלו וכל צריך כלם בשבי ילכו והיו שאסיך למשסה וכל בזזיך אתן לבז (Ⅴ)

Obducam enim cicatricem tibi,/ et a vulneribus tuis sanabo te, dicit Dominus./ Quia ejectam vocaverunt te, Sion :/ hæc est, quæ non habebat requirentem./
- Mais je te guérirai, je panserai tes plaies, Dit l'Éternel. Car ils t'appellent la repoussée, Cette Sion dont nul ne prend souci. (Ⅱ) - For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after. (Ⅲ) - 17 ׃30 כי אעלה ארכה לך וממכותיך ארפאך נאם יהוה כי נדחה קראו לך ציון היא דרש אין לה ס (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Ecce ego convertam conversionem tabernaculorum Jacob,/ et tectis ejus miserebor :/ et ædificabitur civitas in excelso suo,/ et templum juxta ordinem suum fundabitur :/
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je ramène les captifs des tentes de Jacob, J'ai compassion de ses demeures; La ville sera rebâtie sur ses ruines, Le palais sera rétabli comme il était. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof. (Ⅲ) - 18 ׃30 כה אמר יהוה הנני שב שבות אהלי יעקוב ומשכנתיו ארחם ונבנתה עיר על תלה וארמון על משפטו ישב (Ⅴ)

et egredietur de eis laus,/ voxque ludentium./ Et multiplicabo eos, et non minuentur :/ et glorificabo eos, et non attenuabuntur./
- Du milieu d'eux s'élèveront des actions de grâces Et des cris de réjouissance; Je les multiplierai, et ils ne diminueront pas; Je les honorerai, et ils ne seront pas méprisés. (Ⅱ) - And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. (Ⅲ) - 19 ׃30 ויצא מהם תודה וקול משחקים והרבתים ולא ימעטו והכבדתים ולא יצערו (Ⅴ)

Et erunt filii ejus sicut a principio,/ et cœtus ejus coram me permanebit,/ et visitabo adversum omnes qui tribulant eum./
- Ses fils seront comme autrefois, Son assemblée subsistera devant moi, Et je châtierai tous ses oppresseurs. (Ⅱ) - Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them. (Ⅲ) - 20 ׃30 והיו בניו כקדם ועדתו לפני תכון ופקדתי על כל לחציו (Ⅴ)

Et erit dux ejus ex eo,/ et princeps de medio ejus producetur :/ et applicabo eum, et accedet ad me./ Quis enim iste est qui applicet cor suum/ ut appropinquet mihi ? ait Dominus :/
- Son chef sera tiré de son sein, Son dominateur sortira du milieu de lui; Je le ferai approcher, et il viendra vers moi; Car qui oserait de lui-même s'approcher de moi? Dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD. (Ⅲ) - 21 ׃30 והיה אדירו ממנו ומשלו מקרבו יצא והקרבתיו ונגש אלי כי מי הוא זה ערב את לבו לגשת אלי נאם יהוה (Ⅴ)

et eritis mihi in populum, et ego ero vobis in Deum./
- Vous serez mon peuple, Et je serai votre Dieu. (Ⅱ) - And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. (Ⅲ) - 22 ׃30 והייתם לי לעם ואנכי אהיה לכם לאלהים ס (Ⅴ)

Ecce turbo Domini, furor egrediens, procella ruens :/ in capite impiorum conquiescet./
- Voici, la tempête de l'Éternel, la fureur éclate, L'orage se précipite, Il fond sur la tête des méchants. (Ⅱ) - Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. (Ⅲ) - 23 ׃30 הנה סערת יהוה חמה יצאה סער מתגורר על ראש רשעים יחול (Ⅴ)

Non avertet iram indignationis Dominus,/ donec faciat et compleat cogitationem cordis sui :/ in novissimo dierum intelligetis ea.]
- La colère ardente de l'Éternel ne se calmera pas, Jusqu'à ce qu'il ait accompli, exécuté les desseins de son coeur. Vous le comprendrez dans la suite des temps. (Ⅱ) - The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he hath done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it. (Ⅲ) - 24 ׃30 לא ישוב חרון אף יהוה עד עשתו ועד הקימו מזמות לבו באחרית הימים תתבוננו בה (Ⅴ)
