The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
- La parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (Ⅲ) - Et factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃30 ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר (Ⅴ)

Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!
- Fils de l'homme, prophétise, et dis: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Gémissez!... Malheureux jour! (Ⅱ) - υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον καὶ εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ὠ̃ ὠ̃ ἡ ἡμέρα (Ⅲ) - Fili hominis, propheta, et dic : [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Ululate : Væ, væ diei !/ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃30 בן אדם הנבא ואמרת כה אמר אדני יהוה הילילו הה ליום (Ⅴ)

For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
- Car le jour approche, le jour de l'Éternel approche, Jour ténébreux: ce sera le temps des nations. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἡ ἡμέρα του̃ κυρίου ἡμέρα πέρας ἐθνω̃ν ἔσται (Ⅲ) - quia juxta est dies,/ et appropinquat dies Domini, dies nubis :/ tempus gentium erit./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃30 כי קרוב יום וקרוב יום ליהוה יום ענן עת גוים יהיה (Ⅴ)

And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.
- L'épée fondra sur l'Égypte, Et l'épouvante sera dans l'Éthiopie, Quand les morts tomberont en Égypte, Quand on enlèvera ses richesses, Et que ses fondements seront renversés. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἥξει μάχαιρα ἐπ' Αἰγυπτίους καὶ ἔσται ταραχὴ ἐν τη̨̃ Αἰθιοπία̨ καὶ πεσου̃νται τετραυματισμένοι ἐν Αἰγύπτω̨ καὶ συμπεσει̃ται αὐτη̃ς τὰ θεμέλια (Ⅲ) - Et veniet gladius in Ægyptum,/ et erit pavor in Æthiopia,/ cum ceciderint vulnerati in Ægypto,/ et ablata fuerit multitudo illius,/ et destructa fundamenta ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃30 ובאה חרב במצרים והיתה חלחלה בכוש בנפל חלל במצרים ולקחו המונה ונהרסו יסודתיה (Ⅴ)

Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.
- L'Éthiopie, Puth, Lud, toute l'Arabie, Cub, Et les fils du pays allié, Tomberont avec eux par l'épée. (Ⅱ) - Πέρσαι καὶ Κρη̃τες καὶ Λυδοὶ καὶ Λίβυες καὶ πάντες οἱ ἐπίμικτοι καὶ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν τη̃ς διαθήκης μου μαχαίρα̨ πεσου̃νται ἐν αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Æthiopia, et Libya, et Lydi,/ et omne reliquum vulgus,/ et Chub, et filii terræ fœderis,/ cum eis gladio cadent./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃30 כוש ופוט ולוד וכל הערב וכוב ובני ארץ הברית אתם בחרב יפלו פ (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Ils tomberont, les soutiens de l'Égypte, Et l'orgueil de sa force périra; De Migdol à Syène ils tomberont par l'épée, Dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πεσου̃νται τὰ ἀντιστηρίγματα Αἰγύπτου καὶ καταβήσεται ἡ ὕβρις τη̃ς ἰσχύος αὐτη̃ς ἀπὸ Μαγδώλου ἕως Συήνης μαχαίρα̨ πεσου̃νται ἐν αὐτη̨̃ λέγει κύριος (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Et corruent fulcientes Ægyptum,/ et destruetur superbia imperii ejus :/ a turre Syenes gladio cadent in ea,/ ait Dominus Deus exercituum./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃30 כה אמר יהוה ונפלו סמכי מצרים וירד גאון עזה ממגדל סונה בחרב יפלו בה נאם אדני יהוה (Ⅴ)

And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.
- Ils seront dévastés entre les pays dévastés, Et ses villes seront entre les villes désertes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρημωθήσεται ἐν μέσω̨ χωρω̃ν ἠρημωμένων καὶ αἱ πόλεις αὐτω̃ν ἐν μέσω̨ πόλεων ἠρημωμένων ἔσονται (Ⅲ) - Et dissipabuntur in medio terrarum desolatarum,/ et urbes ejus in medio civitatum desertarum erunt :/ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃30 ונשמו בתוך ארצות נשמות ועריו בתוך ערים נחרבות תהיינה (Ⅴ)

And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.
- Et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel, Quand je mettrai le feu dans l'Égypte, Et que tous ses soutiens seront brisés. (Ⅱ) - καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὅταν δω̃ πυ̃ρ ἐπ' Αἴγυπτον καὶ συντριβω̃σι πάντες οἱ βοηθου̃ντες αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - et scient quia ego Dominus,/ cum dedero ignem in Ægypto,/ et attriti fuerint omnes auxiliatores ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃30 וידעו כי אני יהוה בתתי אש במצרים ונשברו כל עזריה (Ⅴ)

In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.
- En ce jour-là, des messagers iront de ma part sur des navires Troubler l'Éthiopie dans sa sécurité; Et l'épouvante sera parmi eux au jour de l'Égypte, Car voici, ces choses arrivent! (Ⅱ) - ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ ἐξελεύσονται ἄγγελοι σπεύδοντες ἀφανίσαι τὴν Αἰθιοπίαν καὶ ἔσται ταραχὴ ἐν αὐτοι̃ς ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ Αἰγύπτου ὅτι ἰδοὺ ἥκει (Ⅲ) - In die illa egredientur nuntii a facie mea in trieribus/ ad conterendam Æthiopiæ confidentiam :/ et erit pavor in eis in die Ægypti,/ quia absque dubio veniet./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃30 ביום ההוא יצאו מלאכים מלפני בצים להחריד את כוש בטח והיתה חלחלה בהם ביום מצרים כי הנה באה ס (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
- Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Je ferai disparaître la multitude de l'Égypte, Par la main de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone. (Ⅱ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος καὶ ἀπολω̃ πλη̃θος Αἰγυπτίων διὰ χειρὸς Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλέως Βαβυλω̃νος (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Cessare faciam multitudinem Ægypti/ in manu Nabuchodonosor regis Babylonis./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃30 כה אמר אדני יהוה והשבתי את המון מצרים ביד נבוכדראצר מלך בבל (Ⅴ)

He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.
- Lui et son peuple avec lui, Le plus violent d'entre les peuples, Seront envoyés pour détruire le pays; Ils tireront l'épée contre l'Égypte, Et rempliront le pays de morts. (Ⅱ) - αὐτου̃ καὶ του̃ λαου̃ αὐτου̃ λοιμοὶ ἀπὸ ἐθνω̃ν ἀπεσταλμένοι ἀπολέσαι τὴν γη̃ν καὶ ἐκκενώσουσιν πάντες τὰς μαχαίρας αὐτω̃ν ἐπ' Αἴγυπτον καὶ πλησθήσεται ἡ γη̃ τραυματιω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Ipse et populus ejus cum eo, fortissimi gentium,/ adducentur ad disperdendam terram :/ et evaginabunt gladios suos super Ægyptum,/ et implebunt terram interfectis./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃30 הוא ועמו אתו עריצי גוים מובאים לשחת הארץ והריקו חרבותם על מצרים ומלאו את הארץ חלל (Ⅴ)

And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken it.
- Je mettrai les canaux à sec, Je livrerai le pays entre les mains des méchants; Je ravagerai le pays et ce qu'il renferme, par la main des étrangers. Moi, l'Éternel, j'ai parlé. (Ⅱ) - καὶ δώσω τοὺς ποταμοὺς αὐτω̃ν ἐρήμους καὶ ἀπολω̃ τὴν γη̃ν καὶ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτη̃ς ἐν χερσὶν ἀλλοτρίων ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα (Ⅲ) - Et faciam alveos fluminum aridos,/ et tradam terram in manus pessimorum :/ et dissipabo terram et plenitudinem ejus/ manu alienorum :/ ego Dominus locutus sum./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃30 ונתתי יארים חרבה ומכרתי את הארץ ביד רעים והשמתי ארץ ומלאה ביד זרים אני יהוה דברתי ס (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
- Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: J'anéantirai les idoles, Et j'ôterai de Noph les vains simulacres; Il n'y aura plus de prince du pays d'Égypte, Et je répandrai la terreur dans le pays d'Égypte. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος καὶ ἀπολω̃ μεγιστα̃νας ἀπὸ Μέμφεως καὶ ἄρχοντας ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται ἔτι (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Et disperdam simulacra,/ et cessare faciam idola de Memphis :/ et dux de terra Ægypti non erit amplius,/ et dabo terrorem in terra Ægypti./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃30 כה אמר אדני יהוה והאבדתי גלולים והשבתי אלילים מנף ונשיא מארץ מצרים לא יהיה עוד ונתתי יראה בארץ מצרים (Ⅴ)

And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.
- Je dévasterai Pathros, Je mettrai le feu à Tsoan, Et j'exercerai mes jugements sur No. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπολω̃ γη̃ν Παθουρης καὶ δώσω πυ̃ρ ἐπὶ Τάνιν καὶ ποιήσω ἐκδίκησιν ἐν Διοσπόλει (Ⅲ) - Et disperdam terram Phathures,/ et dabo ignem in Taphnis,/ et faciam judicia in Alexandria./ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃30 והשמתי את פתרוס ונתתי אש בצען ועשיתי שפטים בנא (Ⅴ)

And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
- Je répandrai ma fureur sur Sin, la forteresse de l'Égypte, Et j'exterminerai la multitude de No. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκχεω̃ τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπὶ Σάιν τὴν ἰσχὺν Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἀπολω̃ τὸ πλη̃θος Μέμφεως (Ⅲ) - Et effundam indignationem meam super Pelusium, robur Ægypti,/ et interficiam multitudinem Alexandriæ./ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃30 ושפכתי חמתי על סין מעוז מצרים והכרתי את המון נא (Ⅴ)

And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily.
- Je mettrai le feu dans l'Égypte; Sin sera saisie d'angoisse, No sera ouverte par la brèche, Et Noph conquise en plein jour par les ennemis. (Ⅱ) - καὶ δώσω πυ̃ρ ἐπ' Αἴγυπτον καὶ ταραχὴν ταραχθήσεται Συήνη καὶ ἐν Διοσπόλει ἔσται ἔκρηγμα καὶ διαχυθήσεται ὕδατα (Ⅲ) - Et dabo ignem in Ægypto :/ quasi parturiens dolebit Pelusium,/ et Alexandria erit dissipata,/ et in Memphis angustiæ quotidianæ./ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃30 ונתתי אש במצרים חול *תחיל **תחול סין ונא תהיה להבקע ונף צרי יומם (Ⅴ)

The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.
- Les jeunes hommes d'On et de Pi Béseth tomberont par l'épée, Et ces villes iront en captivité. (Ⅱ) - νεανίσκοι ἡλίου πόλεως καὶ Βουβάστου ἐν μαχαίρα̨ πεσου̃νται καὶ αἱ γυναι̃κες ἐν αἰχμαλωσία̨ πορεύσονται (Ⅲ) - Juvenes Heliopoleos et Bubasti gladio cadent,/ et ipsæ captivæ ducentur./ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃30 בחורי און ופי בסת בחרב יפלו והנה בשבי תלכנה (Ⅴ)

At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
- A Tachpanès le jour s'obscurcira, Quand j'y briserai le joug de l'Éternel, Et que l'orgueil de sa force y prendra fin; Un nuage couvrira Tachpanès, Et ses filles iront en captivité. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐν Ταφνας συσκοτάσει ἡ ἡμέρα ἐν τω̨̃ συντρι̃ψαι με ἐκει̃ τὰ σκη̃πτρα Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἀπολει̃ται ἐκει̃ ἡ ὕβρις τη̃ς ἰσχύος αὐτη̃ς καὶ αὐτὴν νεφέλη καλύψει καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτη̃ς αἰχμάλωτοι ἀχθήσονται (Ⅲ) - Et in Taphnis nigrescet dies,/ cum contrivero ibi sceptra Ægypti,/ et defecerit in ea superbia potentiæ ejus :/ ipsam nubes operiet,/ filiæ autem ejus in captivitatem ducentur./ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃30 ובתחפנחס חשך היום בשברי שם את מטות מצרים ונשבת בה גאון עזה היא ענן יכסנה ובנותיה בשבי תלכנה (Ⅴ)

Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
- J'exercerai mes jugements sur l'Égypte, Et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ποιήσω κρίμα ἐν Αἰγύπτω̨ καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (Ⅲ) - Et judicia faciam in Ægypto :/ et scient quia ego Dominus.]\ (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃30 ועשיתי שפטים במצרים וידעו כי אני יהוה פ (Ⅴ)

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
- La onzième année, le septième jour du premier mois, la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τω̨̃ ἑνδεκάτω̨ ἔτει ἐν τω̨̃ πρώτω̨ μηνὶ ἑβδόμη̨ του̃ μηνὸς ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (Ⅲ) - Et factum est in undecimo anno, in primo mense, in septima mensis : factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃30 ויהי באחת עשרה שנה בראשון בשבעה לחדש היה דבר יהוה אלי לאמר (Ⅴ)

Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
- Fils de l'homme, j'ai rompu le bras de Pharaon, roi d'Égypte; Et voici, on ne l'a point pansé pour le guérir, On ne l'a point enveloppé d'un bandage Pour le lier et le raffermir, Afin qu'il puisse manier l'épée. (Ⅱ) - υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου τοὺς βραχίονας Φαραω βασιλέως Αἰγύπτου συνέτριψα καὶ ἰδοὺ οὐ κατεδέθη του̃ δοθη̃ναι ἴασιν του̃ δοθη̃ναι ἐπ' αὐτὸν μάλαγμα του̃ δοθη̃ναι ἰσχὺν ἐπιλαβέσθαι μαχαίρας (Ⅲ) - Fili hominis, brachium Pharaonis regis Ægypti confregi,/ et ecce non est obvolutum ut restitueretur ei sanitas,/ ut ligaretur pannis, et fasciaretur linteolis,/ ut recepto robore posset tenere gladium./ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃30 בן אדם את זרוע פרעה מלך מצרים שברתי והנה לא חבשה לתת רפאות לשום חתול לחבשה לחזקה לתפש בחרב ס (Ⅴ)

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
- C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici, j'en veux à Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, Et je lui romprai les bras, Celui qui est en bon état et celui qui est cassé. Et je ferai tomber l'épée de sa main. (Ⅱ) - διὰ του̃το τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ Φαραω βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου καὶ συντρίψω τοὺς βραχίονας αὐτου̃ τοὺς ἰσχυροὺς καὶ τοὺς τεταμένους καὶ καταβαλω̃ τὴν μάχαιραν αὐτου̃ ἐκ τη̃ς χειρὸς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Ecce ego ad Pharaonem regem Ægypti,/ et comminuam brachium ejus forte, sed confractum :/ et dejiciam gladium de manu ejus,/ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃30 לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני אל פרעה מלך מצרים ושברתי את זרעתיו את החזקה ואת הנשברת והפלתי את החרב מידו (Ⅴ)

And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
- Je répandrai les Égyptiens parmi les nations, Je les disperserai en divers pays. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διασπερω̃ Αἴγυπτον εἰς τὰ ἔθνη καὶ λικμήσω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χώρας (Ⅲ) - et dispergam Ægyptum in gentibus,/ et ventilabo eos in terris./ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃30 והפצותי את מצרים בגוים וזריתם בארצות (Ⅴ)

And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
- Je fortifierai les bras du roi de Babylone, Et je mettrai mon épée dans sa main; Je romprai les bras de Pharaon, Et il gémira devant lui comme gémissent les mourants. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κατισχύσω τοὺς βραχίονας βασιλέως Βαβυλω̃νος καὶ δώσω τὴν ῥομφαίαν μου εἰς τὴν χει̃ρα αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπάξει αὐτὴν ἐπ' Αἴγυπτον καὶ προνομεύσει τὴν προνομὴν αὐτη̃ς καὶ σκυλεύσει τὰ σκυ̃λα αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et confortabo brachia regis Babylonis,/ daboque gladium meum in manu ejus,/ et confringam brachia Pharaonis,/ et gement gemitibus interfecti coram facie ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃30 וחזקתי את זרעות מלך בבל ונתתי את חרבי בידו ושברתי את זרעות פרעה ונאק נאקות חלל לפניו (Ⅴ)

But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
- Je fortifierai les bras du roi de Babylone, Et les bras de Pharaon tomberont. Et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel, Quand je mettrai mon épée dans la main du roi de Babylone, Et qu'il la tournera contre le pays d'Égypte. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐνισχύσω τοὺς βραχίονας βασιλέως Βαβυλω̃νος οἱ δὲ βραχίονες Φαραω πεσου̃νται καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐν τω̨̃ δου̃ναι τὴν ῥομφαίαν μου εἰς χει̃ρας βασιλέως Βαβυλω̃νος καὶ ἐκτενει̃ αὐτὴν ἐπὶ γη̃ν Αἰγύπτου (Ⅲ) - Et confortabo brachia regis Babylonis,/ et brachia Pharaonis concident :/ et scient quia ego Dominus,/ cum dedero gladium meum in manu regis Babylonis,/ et extenderit eum super terram Ægypti./ (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃30 והחזקתי את זרעות מלך בבל וזרעות פרעה תפלנה וידעו כי אני יהוה בתתי חרבי ביד מלך בבל ונטה אותה אל ארץ מצרים (Ⅴ)

And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
