In tempore illo, dicit Dominus,/ ero Deus universis cognationibus Israël,/ et ipsi erunt mihi in populum./
- En ce temps-là, dit l'Éternel, Je serai le Dieu de toutes les familles d'Israël, Et ils seront mon peuple. (Ⅱ) - At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people. (Ⅲ) - 1 ׃31 בעת ההיא נאם יהוה אהיה לאלהים לכל משפחות ישראל והמה יהיו לי לעם ס (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Invenit gratiam in deserto populus qui remanserat a gladio :/ vadet ad requiem suam Israël./
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Il a trouvé grâce dans le désert, Le peuple de ceux qui ont échappé au glaive; Israël marche vers son lieu de repos. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. (Ⅲ) - 2 ׃31 כה אמר יהוה מצא חן במדבר עם שרידי חרב הלוך להרגיעו ישראל (Ⅴ)

Longe Dominus apparuit mihi./ Et in caritate perpetua dilexi te :/ ideo attraxi te, miserans./
- De loin l'Éternel se montre à moi: Je t'aime d'un amour éternel; C'est pourquoi je te conserve ma bonté. (Ⅱ) - The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. (Ⅲ) - 3 ׃31 מרחוק יהוה נראה לי ואהבת עולם אהבתיך על כן משכתיך חסד (Ⅴ)

Rursumque ædificabo te, et ædificaberis, virgo Israël :/ adhuc ornaberis tympanis tuis,/ et egredieris in choro ludentium./
- Je te rétablirai encore, et tu seras rétablie, Vierge d'Israël! Tu auras encore tes tambourins pour parure, Et tu sortiras au milieu des danses joyeuses. (Ⅱ) - Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry. (Ⅲ) - 4 ׃31 עוד אבנך ונבנית בתולת ישראל עוד תעדי תפיך ויצאת במחול משחקים (Ⅴ)

Adhuc plantabis vineas in montibus Samariæ :/ plantabunt plantantes,/ et donec tempus veniat, non vindemiabunt./
- Tu planteras encore des vignes sur les montagnes de Samarie; Les planteurs planteront, et cueilleront les fruits. (Ⅱ) - Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things. (Ⅲ) - 5 ׃31 עוד תטעי כרמים בהרי שמרון נטעו נטעים וחללו (Ⅴ)

Quia erit dies in qua clamabunt custodes in monte Ephraim :/ Surgite, et ascendamus in Sion ad Dominum Deum nostrum./
- Car le jour vient où les gardes crieront sur la montagne d'Éphraïm: (Ⅱ) - For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God. (Ⅲ) - 6 ׃31 כי יש יום קראו נצרים בהר אפרים קומו ונעלה ציון אל יהוה אלהינו פ (Ⅴ)

Quia hæc dicit Dominus :/ Exsultate in lætitia, Jacob,/ et hinnite contra caput gentium :/ personate, et canite, et dicite :/ Salva, Domine, populum tuum, reliquias Israël./
- Levez-vous, montons à Sion, vers l'Éternel, notre Dieu! Car ainsi parle l'Éternel: Poussez des cris de joie sur Jacob, Éclatez d'allégresse à la tête des nations! Élevez vos voix, chantez des louanges, et dites: Éternel, délivre ton peuple, le reste d'Israël! (Ⅱ) - For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel. (Ⅲ) - 7 ׃31 כי כה אמר יהוה רנו ליעקב שמחה וצהלו בראש הגוים השמיעו הללו ואמרו הושע יהוה את עמך את שארית ישראל (Ⅴ)

Ecce ego adducam eos de terra aquilonis,/ et congregabo eos ab extremis terræ :/ inter quos erunt cæcus et claudus,/ prægnans et pariens simul,/ cœtus magnus revertentium huc./
- Voici, je les ramène du pays du septentrion, Je les rassemble des extrémités de la terre; Parmi eux sont l'aveugle et le boiteux, La femme enceinte et celle en travail; C'est une grande multitude, qui revient ici. (Ⅱ) - Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither. (Ⅲ) - 8 ׃31 הנני מביא אותם מארץ צפון וקבצתים מירכתי ארץ בם עור ופסח הרה וילדת יחדו קהל גדול ישובו הנה (Ⅴ)

In fletu venient,/ et in misericordia reducam eos :/ et adducam eos per torrentes aquarum in via recta,/ et non impingent in ea,/ quia factus sum Israëli pater,/ et Ephraim primogenitus meus est./
- Ils viennent en pleurant, et je les conduis au milieu de leurs supplications; Je les mène vers des torrents d'eau, Par un chemin uni où ils ne chancellent pas; Car je suis un père pour Israël, Et Éphraïm est mon premier-né. (Ⅱ) - They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. (Ⅲ) - 9 ׃31 בבכי יבאו ובתחנונים אובילם אוליכם אל נחלי מים בדרך ישר לא יכשלו בה כי הייתי לישראל לאב ואפרים בכרי הוא ס (Ⅴ)

Audite verbum Domini, gentes,/ et annuntiate in insulis quæ procul sunt,/ et dicite : Qui dispersit Israël congregabit eum,/ et custodiet eum sicut pastor gregem suum./
- Nations, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, Et publiez-la dans les îles lointaines! Dites: Celui qui a dispersé Israël le rassemblera, Et il le gardera comme le berger garde son troupeau. (Ⅱ) - Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock. (Ⅲ) - 10 ׃31 שמעו דבר יהוה גוים והגידו באיים ממרחק ואמרו מזרה ישראל יקבצנו ושמרו כרעה עדרו (Ⅴ)

Redemit enim Dominus Jacob,/ et liberavit eum de manu potentioris./
- Car l'Éternel rachète Jacob, Il le délivre de la main d'un plus fort que lui. (Ⅱ) - For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he. (Ⅲ) - 11 ׃31 כי פדה יהוה את יעקב וגאלו מיד חזק ממנו (Ⅴ)

Et venient, et laudabunt in monte Sion :/ et confluent ad bona Domini,/ super frumento, et vino, et oleo,/ et fœtu pecorum et armentorum :/ eritque anima eorum quasi hortus irriguus,/ et ultra non esurient./
- Ils viendront, et pousseront des cris de joie sur les hauteurs de Sion; Ils accourront vers les biens de l'Éternel, Le blé, le moût, l'huile, Les brebis et les boeufs; Leur âne sera comme un jardin arrosé, Et ils ne seront plus dans la souffrance. (Ⅱ) - Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. (Ⅲ) - 12 ׃31 ובאו ורננו במרום ציון ונהרו אל טוב יהוה על דגן ועל תירש ועל יצהר ועל בני צאן ובקר והיתה נפשם כגן רוה ולא יוסיפו לדאבה עוד (Ⅴ)

Tunc lætabitur virgo in choro,/ juvenes et senes simul :/ et convertam luctum eorum in gaudium,/ et consolabor eos, et lætificabo a dolore suo./
- Alors les jeunes filles se réjouiront à la danse, Les jeunes hommes et les vieillards se réjouiront aussi; Je changerai leur deuil en allégresse, et je les consolerai; Je leur donnerai de la joie après leurs chagrins. (Ⅱ) - Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. (Ⅲ) - 13 ׃31 אז תשמח בתולה במחול ובחרים וזקנים יחדו והפכתי אבלם לששון ונחמתים ושמחתים מיגונם (Ⅴ)

Et inebriabo animam sacerdotum pinguedine,/ et populus meus bonis meis adimplebitur, ait Dominus./
- Je rassasierai de graisse l'âme des sacrificateurs, Et mon peuple se rassasiera de mes biens, dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD. (Ⅲ) - 14 ׃31 ורויתי נפש הכהנים דשן ועמי את טובי ישבעו נאם יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Vox in excelso audita est lamentationis :/ luctus, et fletus Rachel plorantis filios suos,/ et nolentis consolari super eis,/ quia non sunt./
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: On entend des cris à Rama, Des lamentations, des larmes amères; Rachel pleure ses enfants; Elle refuse d'être consolée sur ses enfants, Car ils ne sont plus. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. (Ⅲ) - 15 ׃31 כה אמר יהוה קול ברמה נשמע נהי בכי תמרורים רחל מבכה על בניה מאנה להנחם על בניה כי איננו ס (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Quiescat vox tua a ploratu,/ et oculi tui a lacrimis,/ quia est merces operi tuo, ait Dominus,/ et revertentur de terra inimici :/
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Retiens tes pleurs, Retiens les larmes de tes yeux; Car il y aura un salaire pour tes oeuvres, dit l'Éternel; Ils reviendront du pays de l'ennemi. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. (Ⅲ) - 16 ׃31 כה אמר יהוה מנעי קולך מבכי ועיניך מדמעה כי יש שכר לפעלתך נאם יהוה ושבו מארץ אויב (Ⅴ)

et est spes novissimis tuis, ait Dominus,/ et revertentur filii ad terminos suos./
- Il y a de l'espérance pour ton avenir, dit l'Éternel; Tes enfants reviendront dans leur territoire. (Ⅱ) - And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border. (Ⅲ) - 17 ׃31 ויש תקוה לאחריתך נאם יהוה ושבו בנים לגבולם ס (Ⅴ)

Audiens audivi Ephraim transmigrantem :/ Castigasti me, et eruditus sum,/ quasi juvenculus indomitus :/ converte me, et convertar,/ quia tu Dominus Deus meus./
- J'entends Éphraïm qui se lamente: Tu m'as châtié, et j'ai été châtié Comme un veau qui n'est pas dompté; Fais-moi revenir, et je reviendrai, Car tu es l'Éternel, mon Dieu. (Ⅱ) - I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God. (Ⅲ) - 18 ׃31 שמוע שמעתי אפרים מתנודד יסרתני ואוסר כעגל לא למד השיבני ואשובה כי אתה יהוה אלהי (Ⅴ)

Postquam enim convertisti me, egi pœnitentiam :/ et postquam ostendisti mihi, percussi femur meum./ Confusus sum, et erubui,/ quoniam sustinui opprobrium adolescentiæ meæ./
- Après m'être détourné, j'éprouve du repentir; Et après avoir reconnu mes fautes, je frappe sur ma cuisse; Je suis honteux et confus, Car je porte l'opprobre de ma jeunesse. - (Ⅱ) - Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth. (Ⅲ) - 19 ׃31 כי אחרי שובי נחמתי ואחרי הודעי ספקתי על ירך בשתי וגם נכלמתי כי נשאתי חרפת נעורי (Ⅴ)

Si filius honorabilis mihi Ephraim,/ si puer delicatus !/ quia ex quo locutus sum de eo,/ adhuc recordabor ejus./ Idcirco conturbata sunt viscera mea super eum :/ miserans miserebor ejus, ait Dominus./
- Éphraïm est-il donc pour moi un fils chéri, Un enfant qui fait mes délices? Car plus je parle de lui, plus encore son souvenir est en moi; Aussi mes entrailles sont émues en sa faveur: J'aurai pitié de lui, dit l'Éternel. - (Ⅱ) - Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD. (Ⅲ) - 20 ׃31 הבן יקיר לי אפרים אם ילד שעשעים כי מדי דברי בו זכר אזכרנו עוד על כן המו מעי לו רחם ארחמנו נאם יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

Statue tibi speculam ;/ pone tibi amaritudines ;/ dirige cor tuum in viam rectam in qua ambulasti :/ revertere, virgo Israël,/ revertere ad civitates tuas istas./
- Dresse des signes, place des poteaux, Prends garde à la route, au chemin que tu as suivi... Reviens, vierge d'Israël, Reviens dans ces villes qui sont à toi! (Ⅱ) - Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities. (Ⅲ) - 21 ׃31 הציבי לך צינים שמי לך תמרורים שתי לבך למסלה דרך *הלכתי **הלכת שובי בתולת ישראל שבי אל עריך אלה (Ⅴ)

Usquequo deliciis dissolveris, filia vaga ?/ quia creavit Dominus novum super terram :/ femina circumdabit virum./
- Jusques à quand seras-tu errante, Fille égarée? Car l'Éternel crée une chose nouvelle sur la terre: La femme recherchera l'homme. (Ⅱ) - How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man. (Ⅲ) - 22 ׃31 עד מתי תתחמקין הבת השובבה כי ברא יהוה חדשה בארץ נקבה תסובב גבר ס (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël :/ Adhuc dicent verbum istud/ in terra Juda et in urbibus ejus,/ cum convertero captivitatem eorum :/ Benedicat tibi Dominus, pulchritudo justitiæ, mons sanctus :/
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici encore ce que l'on dira dans le pays de Juda et dans ses villes, Quand j'aurai ramené leurs captifs: Que l'Éternel te bénisse, demeure de la justice, Montagne sainte! (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness. (Ⅲ) - 23 ׃31 כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל עוד יאמרו את הדבר הזה בארץ יהודה ובעריו בשובי את שבותם יברכך יהוה נוה צדק הר הקדש (Ⅴ)

et habitabunt in eo Judas et omnes civitates ejus simul,/ agricolæ et minantes greges./
- Là s'établiront Juda et toutes ses villes, Les laboureurs et ceux qui conduisent les troupeaux. (Ⅱ) - And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks. (Ⅲ) - 24 ׃31 וישבו בה יהודה וכל עריו יחדו אכרים ונסעו בעדר (Ⅴ)

Quia inebriavi animam lassam,/ et omnem animam esurientem saturavi./
- Car je rafraîchirai l'âme altérée, Et je rassasierai toute âme languissante. (Ⅱ) - For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. (Ⅲ) - 25 ׃31 כי הרויתי נפש עיפה וכל נפש דאבה מלאתי (Ⅴ)

Ideo quasi de somno suscitatus sum :/ et vidi, et somnus meus dulcis mihi./
- Là-dessus je me suis réveillé, et j'ai regardé; Mon sommeil m'avait été agréable. (Ⅱ) - Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me. (Ⅲ) - 26 ׃31 על זאת הקיצתי ואראה ושנתי ערבה לי ס (Ⅴ)

Ecce dies veniunt, dicit Dominus,/ et seminabo domum Israël et domum Juda/ semine hominum et semine jumentorum./
- Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, Où j'ensemencerai la maison d'Israël et la maison de Juda D'une semence d'hommes et d'une semence de bêtes. (Ⅱ) - Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast. (Ⅲ) - 27 ׃31 הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה וזרעתי את בית ישראל ואת בית יהודה זרע אדם וזרע בהמה (Ⅴ)

Et sicut vigilavi super eos/ ut evellerem, et demolirer, et dissiparem,/ et disperderem, et affligerem,/ sic vigilabo super eos/ ut ædificem et plantem, ait Dominus./
- Et comme j'ai veillé sur eux Pour arracher, abattre, détruire, ruiner et faire du mal, Ainsi je veillerai sur eux pour bâtir et pour planter, Dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD. (Ⅲ) - 28 ׃31 והיה כאשר שקדתי עליהם לנתוש ולנתוץ ולהרס ולהאביד ולהרע כן אשקד עליהם לבנות ולנטוע נאם יהוה (Ⅴ)

In diebus illis non dicent ultra :/ Patres comederunt uvam acerbam,/ et dentes filiorum obstupuerunt./
- En ces jours-là, on ne dira plus: Les pères ont mangé des raisins verts, Et les dents des enfants en ont été agacées. (Ⅱ) - In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. (Ⅲ) - 29 ׃31 בימים ההם לא יאמרו עוד אבות אכלו בסר ושני בנים תקהינה (Ⅴ)

Sed unusquisque in iniquitate sua morietur :/ omnis homo qui comederit uvam acerbam,/ obstupescent dentes ejus./
- Mais chacun mourra pour sa propre iniquité; Tout homme qui mangera des raisins verts, Ses dents en seront agacées. (Ⅱ) - But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge. (Ⅲ) - 30 ׃31 כי אם איש בעונו ימות כל האדם האכל הבסר תקהינה שניו ס (Ⅴ)

Ecce dies venient, dicit Dominus,/ et feriam domui Israël et domui Juda fœdus novum,/
- Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, Où je ferai avec la maison d'Israël et la maison de Juda Une alliance nouvelle, (Ⅱ) - Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: (Ⅲ) - 31 ׃31 הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה וכרתי את בית ישראל ואת בית יהודה ברית חדשה (Ⅴ)

non secundum pactum quod pepigi cum patribus eorum/ in die qua apprehendi manum eorum/ ut educerem eos de terra Ægypti,/ pactum quod irritum fecerunt :/ et ego dominatus sum eorum, dicit Dominus./
- Non comme l'alliance que je traitai avec leurs pères, Le jour où je les saisis par la main Pour les faire sortir du pays d'Égypte, Alliance qu'ils ont violée, Quoique je fusse leur maître, dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: (Ⅲ) - 32 ׃31 לא כברית אשר כרתי את אבותם ביום החזיקי בידם להוציאם מארץ מצרים אשר המה הפרו את בריתי ואנכי בעלתי בם נאם יהוה (Ⅴ)

Sed hoc erit pactum quod feriam cum domo Israël/ post dies illos, dicit Dominus :/ dabo legem meam in visceribus eorum,/ et in corde eorum scribam eam,/ et ero eis in Deum,/ et ipsi erunt mihi in populum :/
- Mais voici l'alliance que je ferai avec la maison d'Israël, Après ces jours-là, dit l'Éternel: Je mettrai ma loi au dedans d'eux, Je l'écrirai dans leur coeur; Et je serai leur Dieu, Et ils seront mon peuple. (Ⅱ) - But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. (Ⅲ) - 33 ׃31 כי זאת הברית אשר אכרת את בית ישראל אחרי הימים ההם נאם יהוה נתתי את תורתי בקרבם ועל לבם אכתבנה והייתי להם לאלהים והמה יהיו לי לעם (Ⅴ)

et non docebit ultra vir proximum suum/ et vir fratrem suum,/ dicens : Cognosce Dominum :/ omnes enim cognoscent me,/ a minimo eorum usque ad maximum, ait Dominus :/ quia propitiabor iniquitati eorum,/ et peccati eorum non memorabor amplius./
- Celui-ci n'enseignera plus son prochain, Ni celui-là son frère, en disant: Connaissez l'Éternel! Car tous me connaîtront, Depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand, dit l'Éternel; Car je pardonnerai leur iniquité, Et je ne me souviendrai plus de leur péché. (Ⅱ) - And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Hæc dicit Dominus qui dat solem in lumine diei,/ ordinem lunæ et stellarum in lumine noctis :/ qui turbat mare, et sonant fluctus ejus :/ Dominus exercituum nomen illi :/
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel, qui a fait le soleil pour éclairer le jour, Qui a destiné la lune et les étoiles à éclairer la nuit, Qui soulève la mer et fait mugir ses flots, Lui dont le nom est l'Éternel des armées: (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: (Ⅲ) - 35 ׃31 כה אמר יהוה נתן שמש לאור יומם חקת ירח וכוכבים לאור לילה רגע הים ויהמו גליו יהוה צבאות שמו (Ⅴ)

Si defecerint leges istæ coram me, dicit Dominus,/ tunc et semen Israël deficiet,/ ut non sit gens coram me cunctis diebus./
- Si ces lois viennent à cesser devant moi, dit l'Éternel, La race d'Israël aussi cessera pour toujours d'être une nation devant moi. (Ⅱ) - If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. (Ⅲ) - 36 ׃31 אם ימשו החקים האלה מלפני נאם יהוה גם זרע ישראל ישבתו מהיות גוי לפני כל הימים ס (Ⅴ)

Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Si mensurari potuerint cæli sursum,/ et investigari fundamenta terræ deorsum,/ et ego abjiciam universum semen Israël,/ propter omnia quæ fecerunt, dicit Dominus./
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Si les cieux en haut peuvent être mesurés, Si les fondements de la terre en bas peuvent être sondés, Alors je rejetterai toute la race d'Israël, A cause de tout ce qu'ils ont fait, dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. (Ⅲ) - 37 ׃31 כה אמר יהוה אם ימדו שמים מלמעלה ויחקרו מוסדי ארץ למטה גם אני אמאס בכל זרע ישראל על כל אשר עשו נאם יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

Ecce dies veniunt, dicit Dominus,/ et ædificabitur civitas Domino,/ a turre Hananeel usque ad portam anguli./
- Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, Où la ville sera rebâtie à l'honneur de l'Éternel, Depuis la tour de Hananeel jusqu'à la porte de l'angle. (Ⅱ) - Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner. (Ⅲ) - 38 ׃31 הנה ימים **באים[a] נאם יהוה ונבנתה העיר ליהוה ממגדל חננאל שער הפנה (Ⅴ)

Et exibit ultra norma mensuræ/ in conspectu ejus super collem Gareb,/ et circuibit Goatha,/
- Le cordeau s'étendra encore vis-à-vis, Jusqu'à la colline de Gareb, Et fera un circuit du côté de Goath. (Ⅱ) - And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath. (Ⅲ) - 39 ׃31 ויצא עוד *קוה **קו המדה נגדו על גבעת גרב ונסב געתה (Ⅴ)

et omnem vallem cadaverum, et cineris,/ et universam regionem mortis/ usque ad torrentem Cedron,/ et usque ad angulum portæ equorum orientalis,/ Sanctum Domini :/ non evelletur, et non destruetur ultra in perpetuum.]
- Toute la vallée des cadavres et de la cendre, Et tous les champs jusqu'au torrent de Cédron, Jusqu'à l'angle de la porte des chevaux à l'orient, Seront consacrés à l'Éternel, Et ne seront plus à jamais ni renversés ni détruits. (Ⅱ) - And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever. (Ⅲ) - 40 ׃31 וכל העמק הפגרים והדשן וכל *השרמות **השדמות עד נחל קדרון עד פנת שער הסוסים מזרחה קדש ליהוה לא ינתש ולא יהרס עוד לעולם ס (Ⅴ)
