Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
- Lorsque tout cela fut terminé, tous ceux d'Israël qui étaient présents partirent pour les villes de Juda, et ils brisèrent les statues, abattirent les idoles, et renversèrent entièrement les hauts lieux et les autels dans tout Juda et Benjamin et dans Éphraïm et Manassé. Puis tous les enfants d'Israël retournèrent dans leurs villes, chacun dans sa propriété. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὡς συνετελέσθη πάντα ταυ̃τα ἐξη̃λθεν πα̃ς Ισραηλ οἱ εὑρεθέντες ἐν πόλεσιν Ιουδα καὶ συνέτριψαν τὰς στήλας καὶ ἐξέκοψαν τὰ ἄλση καὶ κατέσπασαν τὰ ὑψηλὰ καὶ τοὺς βωμοὺς ἀπὸ πάσης τη̃ς Ιουδαίας καὶ Βενιαμιν καὶ ἐξ Εφραιμ καὶ ἀπὸ Μανασση ἕως εἰς τέλος καὶ ἐπέστρεψαν πα̃ς Ισραηλ ἕκαστος εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτου̃ καὶ εἰς τὰς πόλεις αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Cumque hæc fuissent rite celebrata, egressus est omnis Israël qui inventus fuerat in urbibus Juda, et fregerunt simulacra, succideruntque lucos, demoliti sunt excelsa, et altaria destruxerunt, non solum de universo Juda et Benjamin, sed et de Ephraim quoque et Manasse, donec penitus everterent : reversique sunt omnes filii Israël in possessiones et civitates suas. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃31 וככלות כל זאת יצאו כל ישראל[p] הנמצאים לערי יהודה וישברו המצבות ויגדעו האשרים וינתצו את הבמות ואת המזבחת מכל יהודה ובנימן ובאפרים ומנשה עד לכלה וישובו כל בני ישראל איש לאחזתו לעריהם ס (Ⅴ)

And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.
- Ézéchias rétablit les classes des sacrificateurs et des Lévites d'après leurs divisions, chacun selon ses fonctions, sacrificateurs et Lévites, pour les holocaustes et les sacrifices d'actions de grâces, pour le service, pour les chants et les louanges, aux portes du camp de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔταξεν Εζεκιας τὰς ἐφημερίας τω̃ν ἱερέων καὶ τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν καὶ τὰς ἐφημερίας ἑκάστου κατὰ τὴν ἑαυτου̃ λειτουργίαν τοι̃ς ἱερευ̃σιν καὶ τοι̃ς Λευίταις εἰς τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ εἰς τὴν θυσίαν του̃ σωτηρίου καὶ αἰνει̃ν καὶ ἐξομολογει̃σθαι καὶ λειτουργει̃ν ἐν ται̃ς πύλαις ἐν ται̃ς αὐλαι̃ς οἴκου κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Ezechias autem constituit turmas sacerdotales et Leviticas per divisiones suas, unumquemque in officio proprio, tam sacerdotum videlicet quam Levitarum, ad holocausta et pacifica, ut ministrarent et confiterentur, canerentque in portis castrorum Domini. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃31 ויעמד יחזקיהו את מחלקות הכהנים והלוים על מחלקותם איש כפי עבדתו לכהנים וללוים לעלה ולשלמים לשרת ולהדות ולהלל בשערי מחנות יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

He appointed also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, to wit, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of the LORD.
- Le roi donna une portion de ses biens pour les holocaustes, pour les holocaustes du matin et du soir, et pour les holocaustes des sabbats, des nouvelles lunes et des fêtes, comme il est écrit dans la loi de l'Éternel. Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.
- Et il dit au peuple, aux habitants de Jérusalem, de donner la portion des sacrificateurs et des Lévites, afin qu'ils observassent fidèlement la loi de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ τοι̃ς κατοικου̃σιν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ δου̃ναι τὴν μερίδα τω̃ν ἱερέων καὶ τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν ὅπως κατισχύσωσιν ἐν τη̨̃ λειτουργία̨ οἴκου κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Præcepit etiam populo habitantium Jerusalem ut darent partes sacerdotibus et Levitis, ut possent vacare legi Domini. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃31 ויאמר לעם ליושבי ירושלם לתת מנת הכהנים והלוים למען יחזקו בתורת יהוה (Ⅴ)

And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
- Lorsque la chose fut répandue, les enfants d'Israël donnèrent en abondance les prémices du blé, du moût, de l'huile, du miel, et de tous les produits des champs; ils apportèrent aussi en abondance la dîme de tout. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὡς προσέταξεν τὸν λόγον ἐπλεόνασαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἀπαρχὴν σίτου καὶ οἴνου καὶ ἐλαίου καὶ μέλιτος καὶ πα̃ν γένημα ἀγρου̃ καὶ ἐπιδέκατα πάντα εἰς πλη̃θος ἤνεγκαν (Ⅲ) - Quod cum percrebruisset in auribus multitudinis, plurimas obtulere primitias filii Israël frumenti, vini, et olei : mellis quoque, et omnium quæ gignit humus, decimas obtulerunt. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃31 וכפרץ הדבר הרבו בני ישראל ראשית דגן תירוש ויצהר ודבש וכל תבואת שדה ומעשר הכל לרב הביאו (Ⅴ)

And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps.
- De même, les enfants d'Israël et de Juda qui demeuraient dans les villes de Juda donnèrent la dîme du gros et du menu bétail, et la dîme des choses saintes qui étaient consacrées à l'Éternel, leur Dieu, et dont on fit plusieurs tas. (Ⅱ) - οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ Ιουδα καὶ οἱ κατοικου̃ντες ἐν ται̃ς πόλεσιν Ιουδα καὶ αὐτοὶ ἤνεγκαν ἐπιδέκατα μόσχων καὶ προβάτων καὶ ἐπιδέκατα αἰγω̃ν καὶ ἡγίασαν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ θεω̨̃ αὐτω̃ν καὶ εἰσήνεγκαν καὶ ἔθηκαν σωροὺς σωρούς (Ⅲ) - Sed et filii Israël et Juda qui habitabant in urbibus Juda, obtulerunt decimas boum et ovium, decimasque sanctorum quæ voverant Domino Deo suo : atque universa portantes, fecerunt acervos plurimos. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃31 ובני ישראל ויהודה היושבים בערי יהודה גם הם מעשר בקר וצאן ומעשר קדשים המקדשים ליהוה אלהיהם הביאו ויתנו ערמות ערמות ס (Ⅴ)

In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
- On commença à former les tas au troisième mois, et l'on acheva au septième mois. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τω̨̃ μηνὶ τω̨̃ τρίτω̨ ἤρξαντο οἱ σωροὶ θεμελιου̃σθαι καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ ἑβδόμω̨ μηνὶ συνετελέσθησαν (Ⅲ) - Mense tertio cœperunt acervorum jacere fundamenta, et mense septimo compleverunt eos. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃31 בחדש השלשי החלו הערמות ליסוד ובחדש השביעי כלו ס (Ⅴ)

And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD, and his people Israel.
- Ézéchias et les chefs vinrent voir les tas, et ils bénirent l'Éternel et son peuple d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἠ̃λθεν Εζεκιας καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες καὶ εἰ̃δον τοὺς σωροὺς καὶ ηὐλόγησαν τὸν κύριον καὶ τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Cumque ingressi fuissent Ezechias et principes ejus, viderunt acervos, et benedixerunt Domino ac populo Israël. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃31 ויבאו יחזקיהו והשרים ויראו את הערמות ויברכו את יהוה ואת עמו ישראל פ (Ⅴ)

Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
- Et Ézéchias interrogea les sacrificateurs et les Lévites au sujet de ces tas. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπυνθάνετο Εζεκιας τω̃ν ἱερέων καὶ τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν ὑπὲρ τω̃ν σωρω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Interrogavitque Ezechias sacerdotes et Levitas, cur ita jacerent acervi. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃31 וידרש יחזקיהו על הכהנים והלוים על הערמות (Ⅴ)

And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.
- Alors le souverain sacrificateur Azaria, de la maison de Tsadok, lui répondit: Depuis qu'on a commencé d'apporter les offrandes dans la maison de l'Éternel, nous avons mangé, nous nous sommes rassasiés, et nous en avons beaucoup laissé, car l'Éternel a béni son peuple; et voici la grande quantité qu'il y a de reste. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Αζαριας ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ ἄρχων εἰς οἰ̃κον Σαδωκ καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἐξ οὑ̃ ἠ̃ρκται ἡ ἀπαρχὴ φέρεσθαι εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου ἐφάγομεν καὶ ἐπίομεν καὶ κατελίπομεν ὅτι κύριος ηὐλόγησεν τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ κατελίπομεν ἔτι τὸ πλη̃θος του̃το (Ⅲ) - Respondit illi Azarias sacerdos primus de stirpe Sadoc, dicens : Ex quo cœperunt offerri primitiæ in domo Domini, comedimus, et saturati sumus, et remanserunt plurima, eo quod benedixerit Dominus populo suo : reliquarum autem copia est ista, quam cernis. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃31 ויאמר אליו עזריהו הכהן הראש לבית צדוק ויאמר מהחל התרומה לביא בית יהוה אכול ושבוע והותר עד לרוב כי יהוה ברך את עמו והנותר את ההמון הזה ס (Ⅴ)

Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the LORD; and they prepared them,
- Ézéchias donna l'ordre de préparer des chambres dans la maison de l'Éternel; et on les prépara. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Εζεκιας ἑτοιμάσαι παστοφόρια εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου καὶ ἡτοίμασαν (Ⅲ) - Præcepit igitur Ezechias ut præpararent horrea in domo Domini. Quod cum fecissent, (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃31 ויאמר יחזקיהו להכין לשכות בבית יהוה ויכינו (Ⅴ)

And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was the next.
- On y apporta fidèlement les offrandes, la dîme, et les choses saintes. Le Lévite Conania en eut l'intendance, et son frère Schimeï était en second. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰσήνεγκαν ἐκει̃ τὰς ἀπαρχὰς καὶ τὰ ἐπιδέκατα ἐν πίστει καὶ ἐπ' αὐτω̃ν ἐπιστάτης Χωνενιας ὁ Λευίτης καὶ Σεμεϊ ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτου̃ διαδεχόμενος (Ⅲ) - intulerunt tam primitias quam decimas, et quæcumque voverant, fideliter. Fuit autem præfectus eorum Chonenias Levita, et Semei frater ejus secundus, (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃31 ויביאו את התרומה והמעשר והקדשים באמונה ועליהם נגיד *כונניהו **כנניהו[y] הלוי ושמעי אחיהו משנה (Ⅴ)

And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Cononiah and Shimei his brother, at the commandment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.
- Jehiel, Azazia, Nachath, Asaël, Jerimoth, Jozabad, Éliel, Jismakia, Machath et Benaja étaient employés sous la direction de Conania et de son frère Schimeï, d'après l'ordre du roi Ézéchias, et d'Azaria, chef de la maison de Dieu. And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the porter toward the east, was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the oblations of the LORD, and the most holy things.
- Le Lévite Koré, fils de Jimna, portier de l'orient, avait l'intendance des dons volontaires faits à Dieu, pour distribuer ce qui était présenté à l'Éternel par élévation et les choses très saintes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ Κωρη ὁ του̃ Ιεμνα ὁ Λευίτης ὁ πυλωρὸς κατὰ ἀνατολὰς ἐπὶ τω̃ν δομάτων δου̃ναι τὰς ἀπαρχὰς κυρίω̨ καὶ τὰ ἅγια τω̃ν ἁγίων (Ⅲ) - Core vero filius Jemna Levites, et janitor orientalis portæ, præpositus erat iis quæ sponte offerebantur Domino, primitiisque et consecratis in Sancta sanctorum. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃31 וקורא בן ימנה הלוי השוער למזרחה על נדבות האלהים לתת תרומת יהוה וקדשי הקדשים (Ⅴ)

And next him were Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in their set office, to give to their brethren by courses, as well to the great as to the small:
- Dans les villes sacerdotales, Éden, Minjamin, Josué, Schemaeja, Amaria et Schecania étaient placés sous sa direction pour faire fidèlement les distributions à leurs frères, grands et petits, selon leurs divisions: (Ⅱ) - διὰ χειρὸς Οδομ καὶ Βενιαμιν καὶ 'Ιησου̃ς καὶ Σεμεϊ καὶ Αμαριας καὶ Σεχονιας διὰ χειρὸς τω̃ν ἱερέων ἐν πίστει δου̃ναι τοι̃ς ἀδελφοι̃ς αὐτω̃ν κατὰ τὰς ἐφημερίας κατὰ τὸν μέγαν καὶ τὸν μικρὸν (Ⅲ) - Et sub cura ejus Eden, et Benjamin, Jesue, et Semeias, Amarias quoque, et Sechenias in civitatibus sacerdotum, ut fideliter distribuerent fratribus suis partes, minoribus atque majoribus : (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃31 ועל ידו עדן ומנימן וישוע ושמעיהו אמריהו ושכניהו בערי הכהנים באמונה לתת לאחיהם במחלקות כגדול כקטן (Ⅴ)

Beside their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even unto every one that entereth into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their service in their charges according to their courses;
- aux mâles enregistrés depuis l'âge de trois ans et au-dessus; à tous ceux qui entraient journellement dans la maison de l'Éternel pour faire leur service selon leurs fonctions et selon leurs divisions; (Ⅱ) - ἐκτὸς τη̃ς ἐπιγονη̃ς τω̃ν ἀρσενικω̃ν ἀπὸ τριετου̃ς καὶ ἐπάνω παντὶ τω̨̃ εἰσπορευομένω̨ εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου εἰς λόγον ἡμερω̃ν εἰς ἡμέραν εἰς λειτουργίαν ἐφημερίαις διατάξεως αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - exceptis maribus ab annis tribus et supra, cunctis qui ingrediebantur templum Domini, et quidquid per singulos dies conducebat in ministerio, atque observationibus juxta divisiones suas, (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃31 מלבד התיחשם לזכרים מבן שלוש שנים ולמעלה לכל הבא לבית יהוה לדבר יום ביומו לעבודתם במשמרותם כמחלקותיהם (Ⅴ)

Both to the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges by their courses;
- aux sacrificateurs enregistrés d'après leurs maisons paternelles, et aux Lévites de vingt ans et au-dessus, selon leurs fonctions et selon leurs divisions; (Ⅱ) - οὑ̃τος ὁ καταλοχισμὸς τω̃ν ἱερέων κατ' οἴκους πατριω̃ν καὶ οἱ Λευι̃ται ἐν ται̃ς ἐφημερίαις αὐτω̃ν ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετου̃ς καὶ ἐπάνω ἐν διατάξει (Ⅲ) - sacerdotibus per familias, et Levitis a vigesimo anno et supra, per ordines et turmas suas, (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃31 ואת התיחש הכהנים לבית אבותיהם והלוים מבן עשרים שנה ולמעלה במשמרותיהם במחלקותיהם (Ⅴ)

And to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness:
- à ceux de toute l'assemblée enregistrés avec tous leurs petits enfants, leurs femmes, leurs fils et leurs filles, car ils se consacraient fidèlement au service du sanctuaire. (Ⅱ) - ἐν καταλοχίαις ἐν πάση̨ ἐπιγονη̨̃ υἱω̃ν αὐτω̃ν καὶ θυγατέρων αὐτω̃ν εἰς πα̃ν τὸ πλη̃θος ὅτι ἐν πίστει ἥγνισαν τὸ ἅγιον (Ⅲ) - universæque multitudini tam uxoribus quam liberis eorum utriusque sexus, fideliter cibi de his quæ sanctificata fuerant, præbebantur. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃31 ולהתיחש בכל טפם נשיהם ובניהם ובנותיהם לכל קהל כי באמונתם יתקדשו קדש (Ⅴ)

Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, which were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites.
- Et pour les fils d'Aaron, les sacrificateurs, qui demeuraient à la campagne dans les banlieues de leurs villes, il y avait dans chaque ville des hommes désignés par leurs noms pour distribuer les portions à tous les mâles des sacrificateurs et à tous les Lévites enregistrés. (Ⅱ) - τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ααρων τοι̃ς ἱερατεύουσιν καὶ οἱ ἀπὸ τω̃ν πόλεων αὐτω̃ν ἐν πάση̨ πόλει καὶ πόλει ἄνδρες οἳ ὠνομάσθησαν ἐν ὀνόματι δου̃ναι μερίδα παντὶ ἀρσενικω̨̃ ἐν τοι̃ς ἱερευ̃σιν καὶ παντὶ καταριθμουμένω̨ ἐν τοι̃ς Λευίταις (Ⅲ) - Sed et filiorum Aaron per agros, et suburbana urbium singularum, dispositi erant viri, qui partes distribuerent universo sexui masculino de sacerdotibus et Levitis. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃31 ולבני אהרן הכהנים בשדי מגרש עריהם בכל עיר ועיר אנשים אשר נקבו בשמות לתת מנות לכל זכר בכהנים ולכל התיחש בלוים (Ⅴ)

And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the LORD his God.
- Voilà ce que fit Ézéchias dans tout Juda; il fit ce qui est bien, ce qui est droit, ce qui est vrai, devant l'Éternel, son Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν οὕτως Εζεκιας ἐν παντὶ Ιουδα καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ καλὸν καὶ τὸ εὐθὲς ἐναντίον του̃ κυρίου θεου̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Fecit ergo Ezechias universa quæ diximus in omni Juda : operatusque est bonum et rectum, et verum coram Domino Deo suo, (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃31 ויעש כזאת יחזקיהו בכל יהודה ויעש הטוב והישר והאמת לפני יהוה אלהיו (Ⅴ)

And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
- Il agit de tout son coeur, et il réussit dans tout ce qu'il entreprit, en recherchant son Dieu, pour le service de la maison de Dieu, pour la loi et pour les commandements. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐν παντὶ ἔργω̨ ἐν ὡ̨̃ ἤρξατο ἐν ἐργασία̨ ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ νόμω̨ καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς προστάγμασιν ἐξεζήτησεν τὸν θεὸν αὐτου̃ ἐξ ὅλης ψυχη̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐποίησεν καὶ εὐοδώθη (Ⅲ) - in universa cultura ministerii domus Domini, juxta legem et cæremonias, volens requirere Deum suum in toto corde suo : fecitque, et prosperatus est. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃31 ובכל מעשה אשר החל בעבודת בית האלהים ובתורה ובמצוה לדרש לאלהיו בכל לבבו עשה והצליח פ (Ⅴ)
