Donne cet ordre aux enfants d'Israël, et dis-leur: Quand vous serez entrés dans le pays de Canaan, ce pays deviendra votre héritage, le pays de Canaan, dont voici les limites.
- Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:) (Ⅱ) - ἔντειλαι τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρει̃ς πρὸς αὐτούς ὑμει̃ς εἰσπορεύεσθε εἰς τὴν γη̃ν Χανααν αὕτη ἔσται ὑμι̃ν εἰς κληρονομίαν γη̃ Χανααν σὺν τοι̃ς ὁρίοις αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Præcipe filiis Israël, et dices ad eos : Cum ingressi fueritis terram Chanaan, et in possessionem vobis sorte ceciderit, his finibus terminabitur. Le côté du midi commencera au désert de Tsin près d'Édom. Ainsi, votre limite méridionale partira de l'extrémité de la mer Salée, vers l'orient;
- Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ὑμι̃ν τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ ἐρήμου Σιν ἕως ἐχόμενον Εδωμ καὶ ἔσται ὑμι̃ν τὰ ὅρια πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ μέρους τη̃ς θαλάσσης τη̃ς ἁλυκη̃ς ἀπὸ ἀνατολω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Pars meridiana incipiet a solitudine Sin, quæ est juxta Edom : et habebit terminos contra orientem mare salsissimum. elle tournera au sud de la montée d'Akrabbim, passera par Tsin, et s'étendra jusqu'au midi de Kadès Barnéa; elle continuera par Hatsar Addar, et passera vers Atsmon;
- And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon: (Ⅱ) - καὶ κυκλώσει ὑμα̃ς τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβὸς πρὸς ἀνάβασιν Ακραβιν καὶ παρελεύσεται Σεννα καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτου̃ πρὸς λίβα Καδης του̃ Βαρνη καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς ἔπαυλιν Αραδ καὶ παρελεύσεται Ασεμωνα (Ⅲ) - Qui circuibunt australem plagam per ascensum Scorpionis, ita ut transeant in Senna, et perveniant a meridie usque ad Cadesbarne, unde egredientur confinia ad villam nomine Adar, et tendent usque ad Asemona. - And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κυκλώσει τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Ασεμωνα χειμάρρουν Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος ἡ θάλασσα (Ⅲ) - Ibitque per gyrum terminus ab Asemona usque ad torrentem Ægypti, et maris magni littore finietur. Votre limite occidentale sera la grande mer: ce sera votre limite à l'occident.
- And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὰ ὅρια τη̃ς θαλάσσης ἔσται ὑμι̃ν ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη ὁριει̃ του̃το ἔσται ὑμι̃ν τὰ ὅρια τη̃ς θαλάσσης (Ⅲ) - Plaga autem occidentalis a mari magno incipiet, et ipso fine claudetur. Voici quelle sera votre limite septentrionale: à partir de la grande mer, vous la tracerez jusqu'à la montagne de Hor;
- And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor: (Ⅱ) - καὶ του̃το ἔσται τὰ ὅρια ὑμι̃ν πρὸς βορρα̃ν ἀπὸ τη̃ς θαλάσσης τη̃ς μεγάλης καταμετρήσετε ὑμι̃ν αὐτοι̃ς παρὰ τὸ ὄρος τὸ ὄρος (Ⅲ) - Porro ad septentrionalem plagam a mari magno termini incipient, pervenientes usque ad montem altissimum, (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃34 וזה יהיה לכם גבול צפון מן הים הגדל תתאו לכם הר ההר (Ⅴ)

- And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward: (Ⅱ) - καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Σεπφαμ Αρβηλα ἀπὸ ἀνατολω̃ν ἐπὶ πηγάς καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια Βηλα ἐπὶ νώτου θαλάσσης Χεναρα ἀπὸ ἀνατολω̃ν (Ⅲ) - et de Sephama descendent termini in Rebla contra fontem Daphnim : inde pervenient contra orientem ad mare Cenereth, (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃34 וירד הגבל משפם הרבלה מקדם לעין וירד הגבול ומחה על כתף ים כנרת קדמה (Ⅴ)

elle descendra encore vers le Jourdain, pour aboutir à la mer Salée. Tel sera votre pays avec ses limites tout autour.
- And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about. (Ⅱ) - καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὸν Ιορδάνην καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος θάλασσα ἡ ἁλυκή αὕτη ἔσται ὑμι̃ν ἡ γη̃ καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτη̃ς κύκλω̨ (Ⅲ) - et tendent usque ad Jordanem, et ad ultimum salsissimo claudentur mari. Hanc habebitis terram per fines suos in circuitu.\ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃34 וירד הגבול הירדנה והיו תוצאתיו ים המלח זאת תהיה לכם הארץ לגבלתיה סביב (Ⅴ)

Moïse transmit cet ordre aux enfants d'Israël, et dit: C'est là le pays que vous partagerez par le sort, et que l'Éternel a résolu de donner aux neuf tribus et à la demi-tribu.
- And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυση̃ς τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ λέγων αὕτη ἡ γη̃ ἣν κατακληρονομήσετε αὐτὴν μετὰ κλήρου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ δου̃ναι αὐτὴν ται̃ς ἐννέα φυλαι̃ς καὶ τω̨̃ ἡμίσει φυλη̃ς Μανασση (Ⅲ) - Præcepitque Moyses filiis Israël, dicens : Hæc erit terra, quam possidebitis sorte, et quam jussit Dominus dari novem tribubus, et dimidiæ tribui. Car la tribu des fils de Ruben et la tribu des fils de Gad ont pris leur héritage, selon les maisons de leurs pères; la demi-tribu de Manassé a aussi pris son héritage.
- For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance: (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ἔλαβεν φυλὴ υἱω̃ν Ρουβην καὶ φυλὴ υἱω̃ν Γαδ κατ' οἴκους πατριω̃ν αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ φυλη̃ς Μανασση ἀπέλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Tribus enim filiorum Ruben per familias suas, et tribus filiorum Gad juxta cognationum numerum, media quoque tribus Manasse, (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃34 כי לקחו מטה בני הראובני לבית אבתם ומטה בני הגדי לבית אבתם וחצי מטה מנשה לקחו נחלתם (Ⅴ)

Ces deux tribus et la demi-tribu ont pris leur héritage en deçà du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho, du côté de l'orient.
- The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising. (Ⅱ) - δύο φυλαὶ καὶ ἥμισυ φυλη̃ς ἔλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτω̃ν πέραν του̃ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω ἀπὸ νότου κατ' ἀνατολάς (Ⅲ) - id est, duæ semis tribus, acceperunt partem suam trans Jordanem contra Jericho ad orientalem plagam. Tels sont ceux à qui l'Éternel ordonna de partager le pays de Canaan entre les enfants d'Israël.
- These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan. (Ⅱ) - οὑ̃τοι οἱ̃ς ἐνετείλατο κύριος καταμερίσαι τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ ἐν γη̨̃ Χανααν (Ⅲ) - Hi sunt, quibus præcepit Dominus ut dividerent filiis Israël terram Chanaan. (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃34 אלה אשר צוה יהוה לנחל את בני ישראל בארץ כנען פ (Ⅴ)
