Quand je crie, réponds-moi, Dieu de ma justice! Quand je suis dans la détresse, sauve-moi! Aie pitié de moi, écoute ma prière!
- Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τω̨̃ ἐπικαλει̃σθαί με εἰσήκουσέν μου ὁ θεὸς τη̃ς δικαιοσύνης μου ἐν θλίψει ἐπλάτυνάς μοι οἰκτίρησόν με καὶ εἰσάκουσον τη̃ς προσευχη̃ς μου (Ⅲ) - [Cum invocarem exaudivit me Deus justitiæ meæ,/ in tribulatione dilatasti mihi./ Miserere mei, et exaudi orationem meam./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃4 בקראי ענני אלהי צדקי בצר הרחבת לי חנני ושמע תפלתי (Ⅴ)

Fils des hommes, jusques à quand ma gloire sera-t-elle outragée? Jusques à quand aimerez-vous la vanité, Chercherez-vous le mensonge? -Pause.
- O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. (Ⅱ) - υἱοὶ ἀνθρώπων ἕως πότε βαρυκάρδιοι ἵνα τί ἀγαπα̃τε ματαιότητα καὶ ζητει̃τε ψευ̃δος διάψαλμα (Ⅲ) - Filii hominum, usquequo gravi corde ?/ ut quid diligitis vanitatem, et quæritis mendacium ?/ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃4 בני איש עד מה כבודי לכלמה תאהבון ריק תבקשו כזב סלה (Ⅴ)

Sachez que l'Éternel s'est choisi un homme pieux; L'Éternel entend, quand je crie à lui.
- But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. (Ⅱ) - καὶ γνω̃τε ὅτι ἐθαυμάστωσεν κύριος τὸν ὅσιον αὐτου̃ κύριος εἰσακούσεταί μου ἐν τω̨̃ κεκραγέναι με πρὸς αὐτόν (Ⅲ) - Et scitote quoniam mirificavit Dominus sanctum suum ;/ Dominus exaudiet me cum clamavero ad eum./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃4 ודעו כי הפלה יהוה חסיד לו יהוה ישמע בקראי אליו (Ⅴ)

Tremblez, et ne péchez point; Parlez en vos coeurs sur votre couche, puis taisez-vous. -Pause.
- Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. (Ⅱ) - ὀργίζεσθε καὶ μὴ ἁμαρτάνετε λέγετε ἐν ται̃ς καρδίαις ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἐπὶ ται̃ς κοίταις ὑμω̃ν κατανύγητε διάψαλμα (Ⅲ) - Irascimini, et nolite peccare ;/ quæ dicitis in cordibus vestris, in cubilibus vestris compungimini./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃4 רגזו ואל תחטאו אמרו בלבבכם על משכבכם ודמו סלה (Ⅴ)

Offrez des sacrifices de justice, Et confiez-vous à l'Éternel.
- Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD. (Ⅱ) - θύσατε θυσίαν δικαιοσύνης καὶ ἐλπίσατε ἐπὶ κύριον (Ⅲ) - Sacrificate sacrificium justitiæ, et sperate in Domino./ Multi dicunt : Quis ostendit nobis bona ?/ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃4 זבחו זבחי צדק ובטחו אל יהוה (Ⅴ)

Plusieurs disent: Qui nous fera voir le bonheur? Fais lever sur nous la lumière de ta face, ô Éternel!
- There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. (Ⅱ) - πολλοὶ λέγουσιν τίς δείξει ἡμι̃ν τὰ ἀγαθά ἐσημειώθη ἐφ' ἡμα̃ς τὸ φω̃ς του̃ προσώπου σου κύριε (Ⅲ) - Signatum est super nos lumen vultus tui, Domine :/ dedisti lætitiam in corde meo./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃4 רבים אמרים מי יראנו[c] טוב נסה עלינו אור פניך יהוה (Ⅴ)

Tu mets dans mon coeur plus de joie qu'ils n'en ont Quand abondent leur froment et leur moût.
- Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. (Ⅱ) - ἔδωκας εὐφροσύνην εἰς τὴν καρδίαν μου ἀπὸ καιρου̃ σίτου καὶ οἴνου καὶ ἐλαίου αὐτω̃ν ἐπληθύνθησαν (Ⅲ) - A fructu frumenti, vini, et olei sui, multiplicati sunt./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃4 נתתה שמחה בלבי מעת דגנם ותירושם רבו (Ⅴ)

Je me couche et je m'endors en paix, Car toi seul, ô Éternel! tu me donnes la sécurité dans ma demeure.
- I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. (Ⅱ) - ἐν εἰρήνη̨ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ κοιμηθήσομαι καὶ ὑπνώσω ὅτι σύ κύριε κατὰ μόνας ἐπ' ἐλπίδι κατώ̨κισάς με (Ⅲ) - In pace in idipsum dormiam, et requiescam ;/ quoniam tu, Domine, singulariter in spe constituisti me.] (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃4 בשלום יחדו אשכבה ואישן כי אתה יהוה לבדד לבטח תושיבני (Ⅴ)
