Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.

Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.

And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.
- Des figures de boeufs l'entouraient au-dessous de son bord, dix par coudée, faisant tout le tour de la mer; les boeufs, disposés sur deux rangs, étaient fondus avec elle en une seule pièce. It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
- Elle était posée sur douze boeufs, dont trois tournés vers le nord, trois tournés vers l'occident, trois tournés vers le midi, et trois tournés vers l'orient; la mer était sur eux, et toute la partie postérieure de leur corps était en dedans. (Ⅱ) - ἡ̨̃ ἐποίησαν αὐτούς δώδεκα μόσχους οἱ τρει̃ς βλέποντες βορρα̃ν καὶ οἱ τρει̃ς βλέποντες δυσμὰς καὶ οἱ τρει̃ς βλέποντες νότον καὶ οἱ τρει̃ς βλέποντες κατ' ἀνατολάς καὶ ἡ θάλασσα ἐπ' αὐτω̃ν ἄνω ἠ̃σαν τὰ ὀπίσθια αὐτω̃ν ἔσω (Ⅲ) - et ipsum mare super duodecim boves impositum erat, quorum tres respiciebant ad aquilonem, et alii tres ad occidentem : porro tres alii meridiem, et tres qui reliqui erant, orientem, habentes mare superpositum : posteriora autem boum erant intrinsecus sub mari. And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.
- Son épaisseur était d'un palme; et son bord, semblable au bord d'une coupe, était façonné en fleur de lis. Elle pouvait contenir trois mille baths. He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
- Il fit dix bassins, et il en plaça cinq à droite et cinq à gauche, pour qu'ils servissent aux purifications: on y lavait les diverses parties des holocaustes. La mer était destinée aux ablutions des sacrificateurs. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν λουτη̃ρας δέκα καὶ ἔθηκεν τοὺς πέντε ἐκ δεξιω̃ν καὶ τοὺς πέντε ἐξ ἀριστερω̃ν του̃ πλύνειν ἐν αὐτοι̃ς τὰ ἔργα τω̃ν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων καὶ ἀποκλύζειν ἐν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ ἡ θάλασσα εἰς τὸ νίπτεσθαι τοὺς ἱερει̃ς ἐν αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Fecit quoque conchas decem : et posuit quinque a dextris, et quinque a sinistris, ut lavarent in eis omnia quæ in holocaustum oblaturi erant : porro in mari sacerdotes lavabantur. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃4 ויעש כיורים עשרה ויתן חמשה מימין וחמשה משמאול לרחצה בהם את מעשה העולה ידיחו בם והים לרחצה לכהנים בו ס (Ⅴ)

And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.

He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basins of gold.

(Ⅳ) - 8 ׃4 ויעש שלחנות עשרה וינח בהיכל חמשה מימין וחמשה משמאול ויעש מזרקי זהב מאה (Ⅴ)

Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.

(Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν τὴν αὐλὴν τω̃ν ἱερέων καὶ τὴν αὐλὴν τὴν μεγάλην καὶ θύρας τη̨̃ αὐλη̨̃ καὶ θυρώματα αὐτω̃ν κατακεχαλκωμένα χαλκω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Fecit etiam atrium sacerdotum, et basilicam grandem : et ostia in basilica, quæ texit ære. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃4 ויעש חצר הכהנים והעזרה הגדולה ודלתות לעזרה ודלתותיהם צפה נחשת (Ⅴ)

And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.

And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;

Ainsi Huram acheva l'ouvrage que le roi Salomon lui fit faire pour la maison de Dieu: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν Χιραμ τὰς κρεάγρας καὶ τὰ πυρει̃α καὶ τὴν ἐσχάραν του̃ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτου̃ καὶ συνετέλεσεν Χιραμ ποιη̃σαι πα̃σαν τὴν ἐργασίαν ἣν ἐποίησεν Σαλωμων τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ ἐν οἴκω̨ του̃ θεου̃ (Ⅲ) - Fecit autem Hiram lebetes, et creagras, et phialas : et complevit omne opus regis in domo Dei : (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃4 ויעש חורם את הסירות ואת היעים ואת המזרקות סויכל *חירם **חורם לעשות את המלאכה אשר עשה למלך שלמה בבית האלהים (Ⅴ)

To wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars;
- deux colonnes, avec les deux chapiteaux et leurs bourrelets sur le sommet des colonnes; les deux treillis, pour couvrir les deux bourrelets des chapiteaux sur le sommet des colonnes; (Ⅱ) - στύλους δύο καὶ ἐπ' αὐτω̃ν γωλαθ τη̨̃ χωθαρεθ ἐπὶ τω̃ν κεφαλω̃ν τω̃ν στύλων δύο καὶ δίκτυα δύο συγκαλύψαι τὰς κεφαλὰς τω̃ν χωθαρεθ ἅ ἐστιν ἐπὶ τω̃ν κεφαλω̃ν τω̃ν στύλων (Ⅲ) - hoc est, columnas duas, et epistylia, et capita, et quasi quædam retiacula, quæ capita tegerent super epistylia. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃4 עמודים שנים והגלות והכתרות על ראש העמודים שתים והשבכות שתים לכסות את שתי גלות הכתרות אשר על ראש העמודים (Ⅴ)

And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.
- les quatre cents grenades pour les deux treillis, deux rangées de grenades par treillis, pour couvrir les deux bourrelets des chapiteaux sur le sommet des colonnes; (Ⅱ) - καὶ κώδωνας χρυσου̃ς τετρακοσίους εἰς τὰ δύο δίκτυα καὶ δύο γένη ῥοΐσκων ἐν τω̨̃ δικτύω̨ τω̨̃ ἑνὶ του̃ συγκαλύψαι τὰς δύο γωλαθ τω̃ν χωθαρεθ ἅ ἐστιν ἐπάνω τω̃ν στύλων (Ⅲ) - Malogranata quoque quadringenta, et retiacula duo ita ut bini ordines malogranatorum singulis retiaculis jungerentur, quæ protegerent epistylia, et capita columnarum. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃4 ואת הרמונים ארבע מאות לשתי השבכות שנים טורים רמונים לשבכה האחת לכסות את שתי גלות הכתרות אשר על פני העמודים (Ⅴ)

He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;

The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.

(Ⅱ) - καὶ τοὺς ποδιστη̃ρας καὶ τοὺς ἀναλημπτη̃ρας καὶ τοὺς λέβητας καὶ τὰς κρεάγρας καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτω̃ν ἃ ἐποίησεν Χιραμ καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ Σαλωμων ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου χαλκου̃ καθαρου̃ (Ⅲ) - et lebetes, et creagras, et phialas. Omnia vasa fecit Salomoni Hiram pater ejus in domo Domini ex ære mundissimo. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃4 ואת הסירות ואת היעים ואת המזלגות ואת כל כליהם עשה חורם אביו למלך שלמה לבית יהוה נחשת מרוק (Ⅴ)

In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.
- Le roi les fit fondre dans la plaine du Jourdain, dans un sol argileux, entre Succoth et Tseréda. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τω̨̃ περιχώρω̨ του̃ Ιορδάνου ἐχώνευσεν αὐτὰ ὁ βασιλεὺς ἐν τω̨̃ πάχει τη̃ς γη̃ς ἐν οἴκω̨ Σοκχωθ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον Σιρδαθα (Ⅲ) - In regione Jordanis, fudit ea rex in argillosa terra inter Sochot et Saredatha. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃4 בככר הירדן יצקם המלך בעבי האדמה בין סכות ובין צרדתה (Ⅴ)

Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.

(Ⅳ) - 18 ׃4 ויעש שלמה כל הכלים האלה לרב מאד כי לא נחקר משקל הנחשת פ (Ⅴ)

And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;
- Salomon fit encore tous les autres ustensiles pour la maison de Dieu: l'autel d'or; les tables sur lesquelles on mettait les pains de proposition; (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν Σαλωμων πάντα τὰ σκεύη οἴκου κυρίου καὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τὸ χρυσου̃ν καὶ τὰς τραπέζας καὶ ἐπ' αὐτω̃ν ἄρτοι προθέσεως (Ⅲ) - Fecitque Salomon omnia vasa domus Dei, et altare aureum, et mensas, et super eas panes propositionis : (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃4 ויעש שלמה את כל הכלים אשר בית האלהים ואת מזבח הזהב ואת השלחנות ועליהם לחם הפנים (Ⅴ)

Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;
- les chandeliers et leurs lampes d'or pur, qu'on devait allumer selon l'ordonnance devant le sanctuaire, (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὰς λυχνίας καὶ τοὺς λύχνους του̃ φωτὸς κατὰ τὸ κρίμα καὶ κατὰ πρόσωπον του̃ δαβιρ χρυσίου καθαρου̃ (Ⅲ) - candelabra quoque cum lucernis suis ut lucerent ante oraculum juxta ritum ex auro purissimo : (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃4 ואת המנרות ונרתיהם לבערם כמשפט לפני הדביר זהב סגור (Ⅴ)

And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;
- les fleurs, les lampes et les mouchettes d'or, d'or très pur; (Ⅱ) - καὶ λαβίδες αὐτω̃ν καὶ οἱ λύχνοι αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰς φιάλας καὶ τὰς θυΐσκας καὶ τὰ πυρει̃α χρυσίου καθαρου̃ (Ⅲ) - et florentia quædam, et lucernas, et forcipes aureos : omnia de auro mundissimo facta sunt. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃4 והפרח והנרות והמלקחים זהב הוא מכלות זהב (Ⅴ)

And the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.
- les couteaux, les coupes, les tasses et les brasiers d'or pur; et les battants d'or pour la porte de l'intérieur de la maison à l'entrée du lieu très saint, et pour la porte de la maison à l'entrée du temple. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἡ θύρα του̃ οἴκου ἡ ἐσωτέρα εἰς τὰ ἅγια τω̃ν ἁγίων εἰς τὰς θύρας του̃ οἴκου του̃ ναου̃ χρυσα̃ς (Ⅲ) - Thymiateria quoque, et thuribula, et phialas, et mortariola ex auro purissimo. Et ostia cælavit templi interioris, id est, in Sancta sanctorum : et ostia templi forinsecus aurea. Sicque completum est omne opus quod fecit Salomon in domo Domini. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃4 והמזמרות והמזרקות והכפות והמחתות זהב סגור ופתח הבית דלתותיו הפנימיות לקדש הקדשים ודלתי הבית להיכל זהב (Ⅴ)
