1 ׃42 הן עבדי אתמך בו בחירי רצתה נפשי נתתי רוחי עליו משפט לגוים יוציא
- Voici mon serviteur, que je soutiendrai, Mon élu, en qui mon âme prend plaisir. J'ai mis mon esprit sur lui; Il annoncera la justice aux nations. (Ⅱ) - Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. (Ⅲ) - Ιακωβ ὁ παι̃ς μου ἀντιλήμψομαι αὐτου̃ Ισραηλ ὁ ἐκλεκτός μου προσεδέξατο αὐτὸν ἡ ψυχή μου ἔδωκα τὸ πνευ̃μά μου ἐπ' αὐτόν κρίσιν τοι̃ς ἔθνεσιν ἐξοίσει (Ⅳ) - Ecce servus meus, suscipiam eum ;/ electus meus, complacuit sibi in illo anima mea :/ dedi spiritum meum super eum :/ judicium gentibus proferet./ (Ⅴ)

2 ׃42 לא יצעק ולא ישא ולא ישמיע בחוץ קולו
- Il ne criera point, il n'élèvera point la voix, Et ne la fera point entendre dans les rues. (Ⅱ) - He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. (Ⅲ) - οὐ κεκράξεται οὐδὲ ἀνήσει οὐδὲ ἀκουσθήσεται ἔξω ἡ φωνὴ αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Non clamabit, neque accipiet personam,/ nec audietur vox ejus foris./ (Ⅴ)

3 ׃42 קנה רצוץ לא ישבור ופשתה כהה לא יכבנה לאמת יוציא משפט
- Il ne brisera point le roseau cassé, Et il n'éteindra point la mèche qui brûle encore; Il annoncera la justice selon la vérité. (Ⅱ) - A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. (Ⅲ) - κάλαμον τεθλασμένον οὐ συντρίψει καὶ λίνον καπνιζόμενον οὐ σβέσει ἀλλὰ εἰς ἀλήθειαν ἐξοίσει κρίσιν (Ⅳ) - Calamum quassatum non conteret,/ et linum fumigans non extinguet :/ in veritate educet judicium./ (Ⅴ)

4 ׃42 לא יכהה ולא ירוץ עד ישים בארץ משפט ולתורתו איים ייחילו פ
- Il ne se découragera point et ne se relâchera point, Jusqu'à ce qu'il ait établi la justice sur la terre, Et que les îles espèrent en sa loi. (Ⅱ) - He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. (Ⅲ) - ἀναλάμψει καὶ οὐ θραυσθήσεται ἕως ἂν θη̨̃ ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς κρίσιν καὶ ἐπὶ τω̨̃ ὀνόματι αὐτου̃ ἔθνη ἐλπιου̃σιν (Ⅳ) - Non erit tristis, neque turbulentus,/ donec ponat in terra judicium ;/ et legem ejus insulæ exspectabunt./ (Ⅴ)

5 ׃42 כה אמר האל יהוה בורא השמים ונוטיהם רקע הארץ וצאצאיה נתן נשמה לעם עליה ורוח להלכים בה
- Ainsi parle Dieu, l'Éternel, Qui a créé les cieux et qui les a déployés, Qui a étendu la terre et ses productions, Qui a donné la respiration à ceux qui la peuplent, Et le souffle à ceux qui y marchent. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: (Ⅲ) - οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ποιήσας τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ πήξας αὐτόν ὁ στερεώσας τὴν γη̃ν καὶ τὰ ἐν αὐτη̨̃ καὶ διδοὺς πνοὴν τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ τω̨̃ ἐπ' αὐτη̃ς καὶ πνευ̃μα τοι̃ς πατου̃σιν αὐτήν (Ⅳ) - Hæc dicit Dominus Deus,/ creans cælos, et extendens eos ;/ formans terram, et quæ germinant ex ea ;/ dans flatum populo qui est super eam,/ et spiritum calcantibus eam :/ (Ⅴ)

6 ׃42 אני יהוה קראתיך בצדק ואחזק בידך ואצרך ואתנך לברית עם לאור גוים
- Moi, l'Éternel, je t'ai appelé pour le salut, Et je te prendrai par la main, Je te garderai, et je t'établirai pour traiter alliance avec le peuple, Pour être la lumière des nations, (Ⅱ) - I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; (Ⅲ) - ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἐκάλεσά σε ἐν δικαιοσύνη̨ καὶ κρατήσω τη̃ς χειρός σου καὶ ἐνισχύσω σε καὶ ἔδωκά σε εἰς διαθήκην γένους εἰς φω̃ς ἐθνω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Ego Dominus vocavi te in justitia,/ et apprehendi manum tuam,/ et servavi te :/ et dedi te in fœdus populi,/ in lucem gentium,/ (Ⅴ)

7 ׃42 לפקח עינים עורות להוציא ממסגר אסיר מבית כלא ישבי חשך
- Pour ouvrir les yeux des aveugles, Pour faire sortir de prison le captif, Et de leur cachot ceux qui habitent dans les ténèbres. (Ⅱ) - To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. (Ⅲ) - ἀνοι̃ξαι ὀφθαλμοὺς τυφλω̃ν ἐξαγαγει̃ν ἐκ δεσμω̃ν δεδεμένους καὶ ἐξ οἴκου φυλακη̃ς καθημένους ἐν σκότει (Ⅳ) - ut aperires oculos cæcorum,/ et educeres de conclusione vinctum,/ de domo carceris sedentes in tenebris./ (Ⅴ)

8 ׃42 אני יהוה הוא שמי וכבודי לאחר לא אתן ותהלתי לפסילים
- Je suis l'Éternel, c'est là mon nom; Et je ne donnerai pas ma gloire à un autre, Ni mon honneur aux idoles. (Ⅱ) - I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. (Ⅲ) - ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεός του̃τό μού ἐστιν τὸ ὄνομα τὴν δόξαν μου ἑτέρω̨ οὐ δώσω οὐδὲ τὰς ἀρετάς μου τοι̃ς γλυπτοι̃ς (Ⅳ) - Ego Dominus,/ hoc est nomen meum ;/ gloriam meam alteri non dabo,/ et laudem meam sculptilibus./ (Ⅴ)

9 ׃42 הראשנות הנה באו וחדשות אני מגיד בטרם תצמחנה אשמיע[1] אתכם פ
- Voici, les premières choses se sont accomplies, Et je vous en annonce de nouvelles; Avant qu'elles arrivent, je vous les prédis. (Ⅱ) - Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. (Ⅲ) - τὰ ἀπ' ἀρχη̃ς ἰδοὺ ἥκασιν καὶ καινὰ ἃ ἐγὼ ἀναγγελω̃ καὶ πρὸ του̃ ἀνατει̃λαι ἐδηλώθη ὑμι̃ν (Ⅳ) - Quæ prima fuerunt, ecce venerunt ;/ nova quoque ego annuntio :/ antequam oriantur,/ audita vobis faciam.]\ (Ⅴ)

10 ׃42 שירו ליהוה שיר חדש תהלתו מקצה הארץ יורדי הים ומלאו איים וישביהם
- Chantez à l'Éternel un cantique nouveau, Chantez ses louanges aux extrémités de la terre, Vous qui voguez sur la mer et vous qui la peuplez, Iles et habitants des îles! (Ⅱ) - Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof. (Ⅲ) - ὑμνήσατε τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ὕμνον καινόν ἡ ἀρχὴ αὐτου̃ δοξάζετε τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ ἀπ' ἄκρου τη̃ς γη̃ς οἱ καταβαίνοντες εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν καὶ πλέοντες αὐτήν αἱ νη̃σοι καὶ οἱ κατοικου̃ντες αὐτάς (Ⅳ) - Cantate Domino canticum novum,/ laus ejus ab extremis terræ,/ qui descenditis in mare, et plenitudo ejus ;/ insulæ, et habitatores earum./ (Ⅴ)

11 ׃42 ישאו מדבר ועריו חצרים תשב קדר ירנו ישבי סלע מראש הרים יצוחו
- Que le désert et ses villes élèvent la voix! Que les villages occupés par Kédar élèvent la voix! Que les habitants des rochers tressaillent d'allégresse! Que du sommet des montagnes retentissent des cris de joie! (Ⅱ) - Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. (Ⅲ) - εὐφράνθητι ἔρημος καὶ αἱ κω̃μαι αὐτη̃ς ἐπαύλεις καὶ οἱ κατοικου̃ντες Κηδαρ εὐφρανθήσονται οἱ κατοικου̃ντες Πέτραν ἀπ' ἄκρων τω̃ν ὀρέων βοήσουσιν (Ⅳ) - Sublevetur desertum et civitates ejus./ In domibus habitabit Cedar :/ laudate, habitatores petræ ;/ de vertice montium clamabunt./ (Ⅴ)

12 ׃42 ישימו ליהוה כבוד ותהלתו באיים יגידו
- Qu'on rende gloire à l'Éternel, Et que dans les îles on publie ses louanges! (Ⅱ) - Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands. (Ⅲ) - δώσουσιν τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ δόξαν τὰς ἀρετὰς αὐτου̃ ἐν ται̃ς νήσοις ἀναγγελου̃σιν (Ⅳ) - Ponent Domino gloriam,/ et laudem ejus in insulis nuntiabunt./ (Ⅴ)

13 ׃42 יהוה כגבור יצא כאיש מלחמות יעיר קנאה יריע אף יצריח על איביו יתגבר ס
- L'Éternel s'avance comme un héros, Il excite son ardeur comme un homme de guerre; Il élève la voix, il jette des cris, Il manifeste sa force contre ses ennemis. (Ⅱ) - The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. (Ⅲ) - κύριος ὁ θεὸς τω̃ν δυνάμεων ἐξελεύσεται καὶ συντρίψει πόλεμον ἐπεγερει̃ ζη̃λον καὶ βοήσεται ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτου̃ μετὰ ἰσχύος (Ⅳ) - Dominus sicut fortis egredietur,/ sicut vir præliator suscitabit zelum ;/ vociferabitur, et clamabit :/ super inimicos suos confortabitur.]\ (Ⅴ)

14 ׃42 החשיתי מעולם אחריש אתאפק כיולדה אפעה אשם ואשאף יחד
- J'ai longtemps gardé le silence, je me suis tu, je me suis contenu; Je crierai comme une femme en travail, Je serai haletant et je soufflerai tout à la fois. (Ⅱ) - I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once. (Ⅲ) - ἐσιώπησα μὴ καὶ ἀεὶ σιωπήσομαι καὶ ἀνέξομαι ἐκαρτέρησα ὡς ἡ τίκτουσα ἐκστήσω καὶ ξηρανω̃ ἅμα (Ⅳ) - Tacui semper,/ silui, patiens fui :/ sicut parturiens loquar ;/ dissipabo, et absorbebo simul./ (Ⅴ)

15 ׃42 אחריב הרים וגבעות וכל עשבם אוביש ושמתי נהרות לאיים ואגמים אוביש
- Je ravagerai montagnes et collines, Et j'en dessécherai toute la verdure; Je changerai les fleuves en terre ferme, Et je mettrai les étangs à sec. (Ⅱ) - I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools. (Ⅲ) - καὶ θήσω ποταμοὺς εἰς νήσους καὶ ἕλη ξηρανω̃ (Ⅳ) - Desertos faciam montes et colles,/ et omne gramen eorum exsiccabo ;/ et ponam flumina in insulas,/ et stagna arefaciam./ (Ⅴ)

16 ׃42 והולכתי עורים בדרך לא ידעו בנתיבות לא ידעו אדריכם אשים מחשך לפניהם לאור ומעקשים למישור אלה הדברים עשיתם ולא עזבתים
- Je ferai marcher les aveugles sur un chemin qu'ils ne connaissent pas, Je les conduirai par des sentiers qu'ils ignorent; Je changerai devant eux les ténèbres en lumière, Et les endroits tortueux en plaine: Voilà ce que je ferai, et je ne les abandonnerai point. (Ⅱ) - And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἄξω τυφλοὺς ἐν ὁδω̨̃ ἡ̨̃ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν καὶ τρίβους οὓς οὐκ ἤ̨δεισαν πατη̃σαι ποιήσω αὐτούς ποιήσω αὐτοι̃ς τὸ σκότος εἰς φω̃ς καὶ τὰ σκολιὰ εἰς εὐθει̃αν ταυ̃τα τὰ ῥήματα ποιήσω καὶ οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψω αὐτούς (Ⅳ) - Et ducam cæcos in viam quam nesciunt,/ et in semitis quas ignoraverunt ambulare eos faciam ;/ ponam tenebras coram eis in lucem,/ et prava in recta ;/ hæc verba feci eis,/ et non dereliqui eos./ (Ⅴ)

17 ׃42 נסגו אחור יבשו בשת הבטחים בפסל האמרים למסכה אתם אלהינו ס
- Ils reculeront, ils seront confus, Ceux qui se confient aux idoles taillées, Ceux qui disent aux idoles de fonte: Vous êtes nos dieux! (Ⅱ) - They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods. (Ⅲ) - αὐτοὶ δὲ ἀπεστράφησαν εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω αἰσχύνθητε αἰσχύνην οἱ πεποιθότες ἐπὶ τοι̃ς γλυπτοι̃ς οἱ λέγοντες τοι̃ς χωνευτοι̃ς ὑμει̃ς ἐστε θεοὶ ἡμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Conversi sunt retrorsum, confundantur confusione,/ qui confidunt in sculptili ;/ qui dicunt conflatili :/ Vos dii nostri./ (Ⅴ)

18 ׃42 החרשים שמעו והעורים הביטו לראות
- Sourds, écoutez! Aveugles, regardez et voyez! (Ⅱ) - Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see. (Ⅲ) - οἱ κωφοί ἀκούσατε καὶ οἱ τυφλοί ἀναβλέψατε ἰδει̃ν (Ⅳ) - Surdi, audite,/ et cæci, intuemini ad videndum./ (Ⅴ)

19 ׃42 מי עור כי אם עבדי וחרש כמלאכי אשלח מי עור כמשלם ועור כעבד יהוה
- Qui est aveugle, sinon mon serviteur, Et sourd comme mon messager que j'envoie? Qui est aveugle, comme l'ami de Dieu, Aveugle comme le serviteur de l'Éternel? (Ⅱ) - Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant? (Ⅲ) - καὶ τίς τυφλὸς ἀλλ' ἢ οἱ παι̃δές μου καὶ κωφοὶ ἀλλ' ἢ οἱ κυριεύοντες αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐτυφλώθησαν οἱ δου̃λοι του̃ θεου̃ (Ⅳ) - Quis cæcus, nisi servus meus ;/ et surdus, nisi ad quem nuntios meos misi ?/ quis cæcus, nisi qui venundatus est ?/ et quis cæcus, nisi servus Domini ?/ (Ⅴ)

20 ׃42 *ראית **ראות רבות ולא תשמר פקוח אזנים ולא ישמע
- Tu as vu beaucoup de choses, mais tu n'y as point pris garde; On a ouvert les oreilles, mais on n'a point entendu. (Ⅱ) - Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not. (Ⅲ) - εἴδετε πλεονάκις καὶ οὐκ ἐφυλάξασθε ἠνοιγμένα τὰ ὠ̃τα καὶ οὐκ ἠκούσατε (Ⅳ) - Qui vides multa, nonne custodies ?/ qui apertas habes aures, nonne audies ?/ (Ⅴ)

21 ׃42 יהוה חפץ למען צדקו יגדיל תורה ויאדיר
- L'Éternel a voulu, pour le bonheur d'Israël, Publier une loi grande et magnifique. (Ⅱ) - The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable. (Ⅲ) - κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἐβούλετο ἵνα δικαιωθη̨̃ καὶ μεγαλύνη̨ αἴνεσιν καὶ εἰ̃δον (Ⅳ) - Et Dominus voluit ut sanctificaret eum,/ et magnificaret legem, et extolleret./ (Ⅴ)

22 ׃42 והוא עם בזוז ושסוי הפח בחורים כלם ובבתי כלאים החבאו היו לבז ואין מציל משסה ואין אמר השב
- Et c'est un peuple pillé et dépouillé! On les a tous enchaînés dans des cavernes, Plongés dans des cachots; Ils ont été mis au pillage, et personne qui les délivre! Dépouillés, et personne qui dise: Restitue! (Ⅱ) - But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ λαὸς πεπρονομευμένος καὶ διηρπασμένος ἡ γὰρ παγὶς ἐν τοι̃ς ταμιείοις πανταχου̃ καὶ ἐν οἴκοις ἅμα ὅπου ἔκρυψαν αὐτούς ἐγένοντο εἰς προνομήν καὶ οὐκ ἠ̃ν ὁ ἐξαιρούμενος ἅρπαγμα καὶ οὐκ ἠ̃ν ὁ λέγων ἀπόδος (Ⅳ) - Ipse autem populus direptus, et vastatus ;/ laqueus juvenum omnes,/ et in domibus carcerum absconditi sunt ;/ facti sunt in rapinam, nec est qui eruat ;/ in direptionem, nec est qui dicat : Redde./ (Ⅴ)

23 ׃42 מי בכם יאזין זאת יקשב וישמע לאחור
- Qui parmi vous prêtera l'oreille à ces choses? Qui voudra s'y rendre attentif et écouter à l'avenir? (Ⅱ) - Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come? (Ⅲ) - τίς ἐν ὑμι̃ν ὃς ἐνωτιει̃ται ταυ̃τα εἰσακούσεται εἰς τὰ ἐπερχόμενα (Ⅳ) - Quis est in vobis qui audiat hoc,/ attendat, et auscultet futura ?/ (Ⅴ)

24 ׃42 מי נתן *למשוסה **למשסה[k] יעקב וישראל לבזזים הלוא יהוה זו חטאנו לו ולא אבו בדרכיו הלוך ולא שמעו בתורתו
- Qui a livré Jacob au pillage, Et Israël aux pillards? N'est-ce pas l'Éternel? Nous avons péché contre lui. Ils n'ont point voulu marcher dans ses voies, Et ils n'ont point écouté sa loi. (Ⅱ) - Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law. (Ⅲ) - τίς ἔδωκεν εἰς διαρπαγὴν Ιακωβ καὶ Ισραηλ τοι̃ς προνομεύουσιν αὐτόν οὐχὶ ὁ θεός ὡ̨̃ ἡμάρτοσαν αὐτω̨̃ καὶ οὐκ ἐβούλοντο ἐν ται̃ς ὁδοι̃ς αὐτου̃ πορεύεσθαι οὐδὲ ἀκούειν του̃ νόμου αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Quis dedit in direptionem Jacob,/ et Israël vastantibus ?/ nonne Dominus ipse, cui peccavimus ?/ Et noluerunt in viis ejus ambulare,/ et non audierunt legem ejus./ (Ⅴ)

25 ׃42 וישפך עליו חמה אפו ועזוז מלחמה ותלהטהו מסביב ולא ידע ותבער בו ולא ישים על לב פ
- Aussi a-t-il versé sur Israël l'ardeur de sa colère Et la violence de la guerre; La guerre l'a embrasé de toutes parts, et il n'a point compris; Elle l'a consumé, et il n'y a point pris garde. (Ⅱ) - Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐπήγαγεν ἐπ' αὐτοὺς ὀργὴν θυμου̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ κατίσχυσεν αὐτοὺς πόλεμος καὶ οἱ συμφλέγοντες αὐτοὺς κύκλω̨ καὶ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν ἕκαστος αὐτω̃ν οὐδὲ ἔθεντο ἐπὶ ψυχήν (Ⅳ) - Et effudit super eum indignationem furoris sui,/ et forte bellum ;/ et combussit eum in circuitu, et non cognovit ;/ et succendit eum, et non intellexit.] (Ⅴ)
