ἐκάλεσεν δὲ Ιακωβ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν συνάχθητε ἵνα ἀναγγείλω ὑμι̃ν τί ἀπαντήσει ὑμι̃ν ἐπ' ἐσχάτων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν
- Jacob appela ses fils, et dit: Assemblez-vous, et je vous annoncerai ce qui vous arrivera dans la suite des temps. (Ⅱ) - And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. (Ⅲ) - Vocavit autem Jacob filios suos, et ait eis : Congregamini, ut annuntiem quæ ventura sunt vobis in diebus novissimis. - Rassemblez-vous, et écoutez, fils de Jacob! Écoutez Israël, votre père! (Ⅱ) - Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. Ρουβην πρωτότοκός μου σύ ἰσχύς μου καὶ ἀρχὴ τέκνων μου σκληρὸς φέρεσθαι καὶ σκληρὸς αὐθάδης

ἐξύβρισας ὡς ὕδωρ μὴ ἐκζέση̨ς ἀνέβης γὰρ ἐπὶ τὴν κοίτην του̃ πατρός σου τότε ἐμίανας τὴν στρωμνήν οὑ̃ ἀνέβης
- Impétueux comme les eaux, tu n'auras pas la prééminence! Car tu es monté sur la couche de ton père, Tu as souillé ma couche en y montant. (Ⅱ) - Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch. (Ⅲ) - Effusus es sicut aqua, non crescas : quia ascendisti cubile patris tui,/ et maculasti stratum ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃49 פחז כמים אל תותר כי עלית משכבי אביך אז חללת יצועי עלה פ (Ⅴ)

εἰς βουλὴν αὐτω̃ν μὴ ἔλθοι ἡ ψυχή μου καὶ ἐπὶ τη̨̃ συστάσει αὐτω̃ν μὴ ἐρείσαι τὰ ἥπατά μου ὅτι ἐν τω̨̃ θυμω̨̃ αὐτω̃ν ἀπέκτειναν ἀνθρώπους καὶ ἐν τη̨̃ ἐπιθυμία̨ αὐτω̃ν ἐνευροκόπησαν ταυ̃ρον
- Que mon âme n'entre point dans leur conciliabule, Que mon esprit ne s'unisse point à leur assemblée! Car, dans leur colère, ils ont tué des hommes, Et, dans leur méchanceté, ils ont coupé les jarrets des taureaux. (Ⅱ) - O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honor, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self-will they digged down a wall. ἐπικατάρατος ὁ θυμὸς αὐτω̃ν ὅτι αὐθάδης καὶ ἡ μη̃νις αὐτω̃ν ὅτι ἐσκληρύνθη διαμεριω̃ αὐτοὺς ἐν Ιακωβ καὶ διασπερω̃ αὐτοὺς ἐν Ισραηλ
- Maudite soit leur colère, car elle est violente, Et leur fureur, car elle est cruelle! Je les séparerai dans Jacob, Et je les disperserai dans Israël. (Ⅱ) - Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. - Juda, tu recevras les hommages de tes frères; Ta main sera sur la nuque de tes ennemis. Les fils de ton père se prosterneront devant toi. (Ⅱ) - Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee. - Juda est un jeune lion. Tu reviens du carnage, mon fils! Il ploie les genoux, il se couche comme un lion, Comme une lionne: qui le fera lever? (Ⅱ) - Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? οὐκ ἐκλείψει ἄρχων ἐξ Ιουδα καὶ ἡγούμενος ἐκ τω̃ν μηρω̃ν αὐτου̃ ἕως ἂν ἔλθη̨ τὰ ἀποκείμενα αὐτω̨̃ καὶ αὐτὸς προσδοκία ἐθνω̃ν
- Le sceptre ne s'éloignera point de Juda, Ni le bâton souverain d'entre ses pieds, Jusqu'à ce que vienne le Schilo, Et que les peuples lui obéissent. (Ⅱ) - The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. δεσμεύων πρὸς ἄμπελον τὸν πω̃λον αὐτου̃ καὶ τη̨̃ ἕλικι τὸν πω̃λον τη̃ς ὄνου αὐτου̃ πλυνει̃ ἐν οἴνω̨ τὴν στολὴν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐν αἵματι σταφυλη̃ς τὴν περιβολὴν αὐτου̃
- Il attache à la vigne son âne, Et au meilleur cep le petit de son ânesse; Il lave dans le vin son vêtement, Et dans le sang des raisins son manteau. Ζαβουλων παράλιος κατοικήσει καὶ αὐτὸς παρ' ὅρμον πλοίων καὶ παρατενει̃ ἕως Σιδω̃νος
- Zabulon habitera sur la côte des mers, Il sera sur la côte des navires, Et sa limite s'étendra du côté de Sidon. (Ⅱ) - Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon. καὶ ἰδὼν τὴν ἀνάπαυσιν ὅτι καλή καὶ τὴν γη̃ν ὅτι πίων ὑπέθηκεν τὸν ὠ̃μον αὐτου̃ εἰς τὸ πονει̃ν καὶ ἐγενήθη ἀνὴρ γεωργός
- Il voit que le lieu où il repose est agréable, Et que la contrée est magnifique; Et il courbe son épaule sous le fardeau, Il s'assujettit à un tribut. (Ⅱ) - And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute. - Dan sera un serpent sur le chemin, Une vipère sur le sentier, Mordant les talons du cheval, Pour que le cavalier tombe à la renverse. (Ⅱ) - Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. καὶ συνετρίβη μετὰ κράτους τὰ τόξα αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐξελύθη τὰ νευ̃ρα βραχιόνων χειρω̃ν αὐτω̃ν διὰ χει̃ρα δυνάστου Ιακωβ ἐκει̃θεν ὁ κατισχύσας Ισραηλ
- Mais son arc est demeuré ferme, Et ses mains ont été fortifiées Par les mains du Puissant de Jacob: Il est ainsi devenu le berger, le rocher d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) (Ⅲ) - Sedit in forti arcus ejus,/ et dissoluta sunt vincula brachiorum et manuum illius/ per manus potentis Jacob :/ inde pastor egressus est, lapis Israël./ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃49 ותשב באיתן קשתו ויפזו זרעי ידיו מידי אביר יעקב משם רעה אבן ישראל (Ⅴ)

παρὰ θεου̃ του̃ πατρός σου καὶ ἐβοήθησέν σοι ὁ θεὸς ὁ ἐμὸς καὶ εὐλόγησέν σε εὐλογίαν οὐρανου̃ ἄνωθεν καὶ εὐλογίαν γη̃ς ἐχούσης πάντα ἕνεκεν εὐλογίας μαστω̃ν καὶ μήτρας
- C'est l'oeuvre du Dieu de ton père, qui t'aidera; C'est l'oeuvre du Tout puissant, qui te bénira Des bénédictions des cieux en haut, Des bénédictions des eaux en bas, Des bénédictions des mamelles et du sein maternel. εὐλογίας πατρός σου καὶ μητρός σου ὑπερίσχυσεν ἐπ' εὐλογίαις ὀρέων μονίμων καὶ ἐπ' εὐλογίαις θινω̃ν ἀενάων ἔσονται ἐπὶ κεφαλὴν Ιωσηφ καὶ ἐπὶ κορυφη̃ς ὡ̃ν ἡγήσατο ἀδελφω̃ν
- Les bénédictions de ton père s'élèvent Au-dessus des bénédictions de mes pères Jusqu'à la cime des collines éternelles: Qu'elles soient sur la tête de Joseph, Sur le sommet de la tête du prince de ses frères! (Ⅱ) - The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren. (Ⅲ) - Benedictiones patris tui confortatæ sunt benedictionibus patrum ejus,/ donec veniret desiderium collium æternorum :/ fiant in capite Joseph,/ et in vertice Nazaræi inter fratres suos./ (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃49 ברכת אביך גברו על ברכת הורי עד תאות גבעת עולם תהיין[1] לראש יוסף ולקדקד נזיר אחיו פ (Ⅴ)

Βενιαμιν λύκος ἅρπαξ τὸ πρωινὸν ἔδεται ἔτι καὶ εἰς τὸ ἑσπέρας διαδώσει τροφήν
- Benjamin est un loup qui déchire; Le matin, il dévore la proie, Et le soir, il partage le butin. (Ⅱ) - Benjamin shall raven as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil. (Ⅲ) - Benjamin lupus rapax,/ mane comedat prædam,/ et vespere dividet spolia.] (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃49 בנימין זאב יטרף בבקר יאכל עד ולערב יחלק שלל (Ⅴ)

πάντες οὑ̃τοι υἱοὶ Ιακωβ δώδεκα καὶ ταυ̃τα ἐλάλησεν αὐτοι̃ς ὁ πατὴρ αὐτω̃ν καὶ εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς ἕκαστον κατὰ τὴν εὐλογίαν αὐτου̃ εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς
- Ce sont là tous ceux qui forment les douze tribus d'Israël. Et c'est là ce que leur dit leur père, en les bénissant. Il les bénit, chacun selon sa bénédiction. (Ⅱ) - All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them. καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς ἐγὼ προστίθεμαι πρὸς τὸν ἐμὸν λαόν θάψατέ με μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων μου ἐν τω̨̃ σπηλαίω̨ ὅ ἐστιν ἐν τω̨̃ ἀγρω̨̃ Εφρων του̃ Χετταίου
- Puis il leur donna cet ordre: Je vais être recueilli auprès de mon peuple; enterrez-moi avec mes pères, dans la caverne qui est au champ d'Éphron, le Héthien, (Ⅱ) - And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, (Ⅲ) - Et præcepit eis, dicens : Ego congregor ad populum meum : sepelite me cum patribus meis in spelunca duplici quæ est in agro Ephron Hethæi, (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃49 ויצו אותם ויאמר אלהם אני נאסף אל עמי קברו אתי אל אבתי אל המערה אשר בשדה עפרון החתי (Ⅴ)

ἐν τω̨̃ σπηλαίω̨ τω̨̃ διπλω̨̃ τω̨̃ ἀπέναντι Μαμβρη ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ Χανααν ὃ ἐκτήσατο Αβρααμ τὸ σπήλαιον παρὰ Εφρων του̃ Χετταίου ἐν κτήσει μνημείου

ἐκει̃ ἔθαψαν Αβρααμ καὶ Σαρραν τὴν γυναι̃κα αὐτου̃ ἐκει̃ ἔθαψαν Ισαακ καὶ Ρεβεκκαν τὴν γυναι̃κα αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐκει̃ ἔθαψα Λειαν
- Là on a enterré Abraham et Sara, sa femme; là on a enterré Isaac et Rebecca, sa femme; et là j'ai enterré Léa. (Ⅱ) - There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah. (Ⅲ) - Ibi sepelierunt eum, et Saram uxorem ejus : ibi sepultus est Isaac cum Rebecca conjuge sua : ibi et Lia condita jacet. (Ⅳ) - 31 ׃49 שמה קברו את אברהם ואת שרה אשתו שמה קברו את יצחק ואת רבקה אשתו ושמה קברתי את לאה (Ⅴ)

ἐν κτήσει του̃ ἀγρου̃ καὶ του̃ σπηλαίου του̃ ὄντος ἐν αὐτω̨̃ παρὰ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Χετ
- Le champ et la caverne qui s'y trouve ont été achetés des fils de Heth. (Ⅱ) - The purchase of the field and of the cave that is therein was from the children of Heth. (Ⅲ) - 32 ׃49 מקנה השדה והמערה אשר בו מאת בני חת (Ⅴ)

καὶ κατέπαυσεν Ιακωβ ἐπιτάσσων τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐξάρας τοὺς πόδας αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ τὴν κλίνην ἐξέλιπεν καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃
- Lorsque Jacob eut achevé de donner ses ordres à ses fils, il retira ses pieds dans le lit, il expira, et fut recueilli auprès de son peuple. (Ⅱ) - And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people. (Ⅲ) - Finitisque mandatis quibus filios instruebat, collegit pedes suos super lectulum, et obiit : appositusque est ad populum suum. (Ⅳ) - 33 ׃49 ויכל יעקב לצות את בניו ויאסף רגליו אל המטה ויגוע ויאסף אל עמיו (Ⅴ)
