1 ׃49 ויקרא יעקב אל בניו ויאמר האספו ואגידה לכם את אשר יקרא אתכם באחרית הימים
- Jacob appela ses fils, et dit: Assemblez-vous, et je vous annoncerai ce qui vous arrivera dans la suite des temps. (Ⅱ) - And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. (Ⅲ) - ἐκάλεσεν δὲ Ιακωβ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν συνάχθητε ἵνα ἀναγγείλω ὑμι̃ν τί ἀπαντήσει ὑμι̃ν ἐπ' ἐσχάτων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Vocavit autem Jacob filios suos, et ait eis : Congregamini, ut annuntiem quæ ventura sunt vobis in diebus novissimis. 2 ׃49 הקבצו ושמעו בני יעקב ושמעו אל ישראל אביכם
- Rassemblez-vous, et écoutez, fils de Jacob! Écoutez Israël, votre père! (Ⅱ) - Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. (Ⅲ) - ἀθροίσθητε καὶ ἀκούσατε υἱοὶ Ιακωβ ἀκούσατε Ισραηλ του̃ πατρὸς ὑμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Congregamini, et audite, filii Jacob,/ audite Israël patrem vestrum :/ (Ⅴ)

3 ׃49 ראובן בכרי אתה כחי וראשית אוני יתר שאת ויתר עז
- Ruben, toi, mon premier-né, Ma force et les prémices de ma vigueur, Supérieur en dignité et supérieur en puissance, (Ⅱ) - Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: (Ⅲ) - Ρουβην πρωτότοκός μου σύ ἰσχύς μου καὶ ἀρχὴ τέκνων μου σκληρὸς φέρεσθαι καὶ σκληρὸς αὐθάδης (Ⅳ) - Ruben, primogenitus meus,/ tu fortitudo mea, et principium doloris mei ;/ prior in donis, major in imperio./ (Ⅴ)

4 ׃49 פחז כמים אל תותר כי עלית משכבי אביך אז חללת יצועי עלה פ
- Impétueux comme les eaux, tu n'auras pas la prééminence! Car tu es monté sur la couche de ton père, Tu as souillé ma couche en y montant. (Ⅱ) - Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch. (Ⅲ) - ἐξύβρισας ὡς ὕδωρ μὴ ἐκζέση̨ς ἀνέβης γὰρ ἐπὶ τὴν κοίτην του̃ πατρός σου τότε ἐμίανας τὴν στρωμνήν οὑ̃ ἀνέβης (Ⅳ) - Effusus es sicut aqua, non crescas : quia ascendisti cubile patris tui,/ et maculasti stratum ejus./ (Ⅴ)

5 ׃49 שמעון ולוי אחים כלי חמס מכרתיהם
- Siméon et Lévi sont frères; Leurs glaives sont des instruments de violence. (Ⅱ) - Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations. (Ⅲ) - Συμεων καὶ Λευι ἀδελφοί συνετέλεσαν ἀδικίαν ἐξ αἱρέσεως αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Simeon et Levi fratres/ vasa iniquitatis bellantia./ (Ⅴ)

6 ׃49 בסדם אל תבא נפשי בקהלם אל תחד כבדי כי באפם הרגו איש וברצנם עקרו שור
- Que mon âme n'entre point dans leur conciliabule, Que mon esprit ne s'unisse point à leur assemblée! Car, dans leur colère, ils ont tué des hommes, Et, dans leur méchanceté, ils ont coupé les jarrets des taureaux. (Ⅱ) - O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honor, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self-will they digged down a wall. (Ⅲ) - εἰς βουλὴν αὐτω̃ν μὴ ἔλθοι ἡ ψυχή μου καὶ ἐπὶ τη̨̃ συστάσει αὐτω̃ν μὴ ἐρείσαι τὰ ἥπατά μου ὅτι ἐν τω̨̃ θυμω̨̃ αὐτω̃ν ἀπέκτειναν ἀνθρώπους καὶ ἐν τη̨̃ ἐπιθυμία̨ αὐτω̃ν ἐνευροκόπησαν ταυ̃ρον (Ⅳ) - In consilium eorum non veniat anima mea,/ et in cœtu illorum non sit gloria mea :/ quia in furore suo occiderunt virum,/ et in voluntate sua suffoderunt murum./ (Ⅴ)

7 ׃49 ארור אפם כי עז ועברתם כי קשתה אחלקם ביעקב ואפיצם בישראל ס
- Maudite soit leur colère, car elle est violente, Et leur fureur, car elle est cruelle! Je les séparerai dans Jacob, Et je les disperserai dans Israël. (Ⅱ) - Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. (Ⅲ) - ἐπικατάρατος ὁ θυμὸς αὐτω̃ν ὅτι αὐθάδης καὶ ἡ μη̃νις αὐτω̃ν ὅτι ἐσκληρύνθη διαμεριω̃ αὐτοὺς ἐν Ιακωβ καὶ διασπερω̃ αὐτοὺς ἐν Ισραηλ (Ⅳ) - Maledictus furor eorum, quia pertinax :/ et indignatio eorum, quia dura :/ dividam eos in Jacob,/ et dispergam eos in Israël./ (Ⅴ)

8 ׃49 יהודה אתה יודוך אחיך ידך בערף איביך ישתחוו[1] לך בני אביך
- Juda, tu recevras les hommages de tes frères; Ta main sera sur la nuque de tes ennemis. Les fils de ton père se prosterneront devant toi. (Ⅱ) - Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee. (Ⅲ) - Ιουδα σὲ αἰνέσαισαν οἱ ἀδελφοί σου αἱ χει̃ρές σου ἐπὶ νώτου τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν σου προσκυνήσουσίν σοι οἱ υἱοὶ του̃ πατρός σου (Ⅳ) - Juda, te laudabunt fratres tui :/ manus tua in cervicibus inimicorum tuorum,/ adorabunt te filii patris tui./ (Ⅴ)

9 ׃49 גור אריה יהודה מטרף בני עלית כרע רבץ כאריה וכלביא מי יקימנו
- Juda est un jeune lion. Tu reviens du carnage, mon fils! Il ploie les genoux, il se couche comme un lion, Comme une lionne: qui le fera lever? (Ⅱ) - Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? (Ⅲ) - σκύμνος λέοντος Ιουδα ἐκ βλαστου̃ υἱέ μου ἀνέβης ἀναπεσὼν ἐκοιμήθης ὡς λέων καὶ ὡς σκύμνος τίς ἐγερει̃ αὐτόν (Ⅳ) - Catulus leonis Juda :/ ad prædam, fili mi, ascendisti :/ requiescens accubuisti ut leo,/ et quasi leæna : quis suscitabit eum ?/ (Ⅴ)

10 ׃49 לא יסור שבט מיהודה ומחקק מבין רגליו עד כי יבא *שילה **שילו ולו יקהת עמים
- Le sceptre ne s'éloignera point de Juda, Ni le bâton souverain d'entre ses pieds, Jusqu'à ce que vienne le Schilo, Et que les peuples lui obéissent. (Ⅱ) - The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Ⅲ) - οὐκ ἐκλείψει ἄρχων ἐξ Ιουδα καὶ ἡγούμενος ἐκ τω̃ν μηρω̃ν αὐτου̃ ἕως ἂν ἔλθη̨ τὰ ἀποκείμενα αὐτω̨̃ καὶ αὐτὸς προσδοκία ἐθνω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Non auferetur sceptrum de Juda,/ et dux de femore ejus,/ donec veniat qui mittendus est,/ et ipse erit expectatio gentium./ (Ⅴ)

11 ׃49 אסרי לגפן *עירה **עירו ולשרקה בני אתנו כבס ביין לבשו ובדם ענבים *סותה **סותו
- Il attache à la vigne son âne, Et au meilleur cep le petit de son ânesse; Il lave dans le vin son vêtement, Et dans le sang des raisins son manteau. (Ⅱ) - Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: (Ⅲ) - δεσμεύων πρὸς ἄμπελον τὸν πω̃λον αὐτου̃ καὶ τη̨̃ ἕλικι τὸν πω̃λον τη̃ς ὄνου αὐτου̃ πλυνει̃ ἐν οἴνω̨ τὴν στολὴν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐν αἵματι σταφυλη̃ς τὴν περιβολὴν αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Ligans ad vineam pullum suum,/ et ad vitem, o fili mi, asinam suam,/ lavabit in vino stolam suam/ et in sanguine uvæ pallium suum./ (Ⅴ)

- Il a les yeux rouges de vin, Et les dents blanches de lait. (Ⅱ) - His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk. (Ⅲ) - χαροποὶ οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτου̃ ἀπὸ οἴνου καὶ λευκοὶ οἱ ὀδόντες αὐτου̃ ἢ γάλα (Ⅳ) - Pulchriores sunt oculi ejus vino,/ et dentes ejus lacte candidiores./ (Ⅴ)

13 ׃49 זבולן לחוף ימים ישכן והוא לחוף אניות וירכתו על צידן ס
- Zabulon habitera sur la côte des mers, Il sera sur la côte des navires, Et sa limite s'étendra du côté de Sidon. (Ⅱ) - Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon. (Ⅲ) - Ζαβουλων παράλιος κατοικήσει καὶ αὐτὸς παρ' ὅρμον πλοίων καὶ παρατενει̃ ἕως Σιδω̃νος (Ⅳ) - Zabulon in littore maris habitabit,/ et in statione navium/ pertingens usque ad Sidonem./ (Ⅴ)

14 ׃49 יששכר חמר גרם רבץ בין המשפתים
- Issacar est un âne robuste, Qui se couche dans les étables. (Ⅱ) - Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: (Ⅲ) - Ισσαχαρ τὸ καλὸν ἐπεθύμησεν ἀναπαυόμενος ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν κλήρων (Ⅳ) - Issachar asinus fortis/ accubans inter terminos./ (Ⅴ)

15 ׃49 וירא מנחה כי טוב ואת הארץ כי נעמה ויט שכמו לסבל ויהי למס עבד ס
- Il voit que le lieu où il repose est agréable, Et que la contrée est magnifique; Et il courbe son épaule sous le fardeau, Il s'assujettit à un tribut. (Ⅱ) - And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἰδὼν τὴν ἀνάπαυσιν ὅτι καλή καὶ τὴν γη̃ν ὅτι πίων ὑπέθηκεν τὸν ὠ̃μον αὐτου̃ εἰς τὸ πονει̃ν καὶ ἐγενήθη ἀνὴρ γεωργός (Ⅳ) - Vidit requiem, quod esset bona/ et terram, quod optima :/ et supposuit humerum suum ad portandum,/ factusque est tributis serviens./ (Ⅴ)

- Dan jugera son peuple, Comme l'une des tribus d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. (Ⅲ) - Δαν κρινει̃ τὸν ἑαυτου̃ λαὸν ὡσεὶ καὶ μία φυλὴ ἐν Ισραηλ (Ⅳ) - Dan judicabit populum suum/ sicut et alia tribus in Israël./ (Ⅴ)

- Dan sera un serpent sur le chemin, Une vipère sur le sentier, Mordant les talons du cheval, Pour que le cavalier tombe à la renverse. (Ⅱ) - Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. (Ⅲ) - καὶ γενηθήτω Δαν ὄφις ἐφ' ὁδου̃ ἐγκαθήμενος ἐπὶ τρίβου δάκνων πτέρναν ἵππου καὶ πεσει̃ται ὁ ἱππεὺς εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω (Ⅳ) - Fiat Dan coluber in via,/ cerastes in semita,/ mordens ungulas equi,/ ut cadat ascensor ejus retro./ (Ⅴ)

- Gad sera assailli par des bandes armées, Mais il les assaillira et les poursuivra. (Ⅱ) - Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last. (Ⅲ) - Γαδ πειρατήριον πειρατεύσει αὐτόν αὐτὸς δὲ πειρατεύσει αὐτω̃ν κατὰ πόδας (Ⅳ) - Gad, accinctus præliabitur ante eum :/ et ipse accingetur retrorsum./ (Ⅴ)

- Aser produit une nourriture excellente; Il fournira les mets délicats des rois. (Ⅱ) - Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties. (Ⅲ) - Ασηρ πίων αὐτου̃ ὁ ἄρτος καὶ αὐτὸς δώσει τρυφὴν ἄρχουσιν (Ⅳ) - Aser, pinguis panis ejus,/ et præbebit delicias regibus./ (Ⅴ)

- Nephthali est une biche en liberté; Il profère de belles paroles. (Ⅱ) - Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words. (Ⅲ) - Νεφθαλι στέλεχος ἀνειμένον ἐπιδιδοὺς ἐν τω̨̃ γενήματι κάλλος (Ⅳ) - Nephthali, cervus emissus,/ et dans eloquia pulchritudinis./ (Ⅴ)

- Joseph est le rejeton d'un arbre fertile, Le rejeton d'un arbre fertile près d'une source; Les branches s'élèvent au-dessus de la muraille. (Ⅱ) - Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall: (Ⅲ) - υἱὸς ηὐξημένος Ιωσηφ υἱὸς ηὐξημένος ζηλωτός υἱός μου νεώτατος πρός με ἀνάστρεψον (Ⅳ) - Filius accrescens Joseph, filius accrescens et decorus aspectu :/ filiæ discurrerunt super murum./ (Ⅴ)

- Ils l'ont provoqué, ils ont lancé des traits; Les archers l'ont poursuivi de leur haine. (Ⅱ) - The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: (Ⅲ) - εἰς ὃν διαβουλευόμενοι ἐλοιδόρουν καὶ ἐνει̃χον αὐτω̨̃ κύριοι τοξευμάτων (Ⅳ) - Sed exasperaverunt eum et jurgati sunt,/ invideruntque illi habentes jacula./ (Ⅴ)

24 ׃49 ותשב באיתן קשתו ויפזו זרעי ידיו מידי אביר יעקב משם רעה אבן ישראל
- Mais son arc est demeuré ferme, Et ses mains ont été fortifiées Par les mains du Puissant de Jacob: Il est ainsi devenu le berger, le rocher d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) (Ⅲ) - καὶ συνετρίβη μετὰ κράτους τὰ τόξα αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐξελύθη τὰ νευ̃ρα βραχιόνων χειρω̃ν αὐτω̃ν διὰ χει̃ρα δυνάστου Ιακωβ ἐκει̃θεν ὁ κατισχύσας Ισραηλ (Ⅳ) - Sedit in forti arcus ejus,/ et dissoluta sunt vincula brachiorum et manuum illius/ per manus potentis Jacob :/ inde pastor egressus est, lapis Israël./ (Ⅴ)

25 ׃49 מאל אביך ויעזרך ואת שדי ויברכך ברכת שמים מעל ברכת תהום רבצת תחת ברכת שדים ורחם
- C'est l'oeuvre du Dieu de ton père, qui t'aidera; C'est l'oeuvre du Tout puissant, qui te bénira Des bénédictions des cieux en haut, Des bénédictions des eaux en bas, Des bénédictions des mamelles et du sein maternel. (Ⅱ) - Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: (Ⅲ) - παρὰ θεου̃ του̃ πατρός σου καὶ ἐβοήθησέν σοι ὁ θεὸς ὁ ἐμὸς καὶ εὐλόγησέν σε εὐλογίαν οὐρανου̃ ἄνωθεν καὶ εὐλογίαν γη̃ς ἐχούσης πάντα ἕνεκεν εὐλογίας μαστω̃ν καὶ μήτρας (Ⅳ) - Deus patris tui erit adjutor tuus,/ et omnipotens benedicet tibi/ benedictionibus cæli desuper, benedictionibus abyssi jacentis deorsum,/ benedictionibus uberum et vulvæ./ (Ⅴ)

26 ׃49 ברכת אביך גברו על ברכת הורי עד תאות גבעת עולם תהיין[1] לראש יוסף ולקדקד נזיר אחיו פ
- Les bénédictions de ton père s'élèvent Au-dessus des bénédictions de mes pères Jusqu'à la cime des collines éternelles: Qu'elles soient sur la tête de Joseph, Sur le sommet de la tête du prince de ses frères! (Ⅱ) - The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren. (Ⅲ) - εὐλογίας πατρός σου καὶ μητρός σου ὑπερίσχυσεν ἐπ' εὐλογίαις ὀρέων μονίμων καὶ ἐπ' εὐλογίαις θινω̃ν ἀενάων ἔσονται ἐπὶ κεφαλὴν Ιωσηφ καὶ ἐπὶ κορυφη̃ς ὡ̃ν ἡγήσατο ἀδελφω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Benedictiones patris tui confortatæ sunt benedictionibus patrum ejus,/ donec veniret desiderium collium æternorum :/ fiant in capite Joseph,/ et in vertice Nazaræi inter fratres suos./ (Ⅴ)

27 ׃49 בנימין זאב יטרף בבקר יאכל עד ולערב יחלק שלל
- Benjamin est un loup qui déchire; Le matin, il dévore la proie, Et le soir, il partage le butin. (Ⅱ) - Benjamin shall raven as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil. (Ⅲ) - Βενιαμιν λύκος ἅρπαξ τὸ πρωινὸν ἔδεται ἔτι καὶ εἰς τὸ ἑσπέρας διαδώσει τροφήν (Ⅳ) - Benjamin lupus rapax,/ mane comedat prædam,/ et vespere dividet spolia.] (Ⅴ)

28 ׃49 כל אלה שבטי ישראל שנים עשר וזאת אשר דבר להם אביהם ויברך אותם איש אשר כברכתו ברך אתם
- Ce sont là tous ceux qui forment les douze tribus d'Israël. Et c'est là ce que leur dit leur père, en les bénissant. Il les bénit, chacun selon sa bénédiction. (Ⅱ) - All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them. (Ⅲ) - πάντες οὑ̃τοι υἱοὶ Ιακωβ δώδεκα καὶ ταυ̃τα ἐλάλησεν αὐτοι̃ς ὁ πατὴρ αὐτω̃ν καὶ εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς ἕκαστον κατὰ τὴν εὐλογίαν αὐτου̃ εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς (Ⅳ) - Omnes hi in tribubus Israël duodecim : hæc locutus est eis pater suus, benedixitque singulis benedictionibus propriis.\ (Ⅴ)

29 ׃49 ויצו אותם ויאמר אלהם אני נאסף אל עמי קברו אתי אל אבתי אל המערה אשר בשדה עפרון החתי
- Puis il leur donna cet ordre: Je vais être recueilli auprès de mon peuple; enterrez-moi avec mes pères, dans la caverne qui est au champ d'Éphron, le Héthien, (Ⅱ) - And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς ἐγὼ προστίθεμαι πρὸς τὸν ἐμὸν λαόν θάψατέ με μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων μου ἐν τω̨̃ σπηλαίω̨ ὅ ἐστιν ἐν τω̨̃ ἀγρω̨̃ Εφρων του̃ Χετταίου (Ⅳ) - Et præcepit eis, dicens : Ego congregor ad populum meum : sepelite me cum patribus meis in spelunca duplici quæ est in agro Ephron Hethæi, (Ⅴ)

30 ׃49 במערה אשר בשדה המכפלה אשר על פני ממרא בארץ כנען אשר קנה אברהם את השדה מאת עפרן החתי לאחזת קבר
- dans la caverne du champ de Macpéla, vis-à-vis de Mamré, dans le pays de Canaan. C'est le champ qu'Abraham a acheté d'Éphron, le Héthien, comme propriété sépulcrale. (Ⅴ)

31 ׃49 שמה קברו את אברהם ואת שרה אשתו שמה קברו את יצחק ואת רבקה אשתו ושמה קברתי את לאה
- Là on a enterré Abraham et Sara, sa femme; là on a enterré Isaac et Rebecca, sa femme; et là j'ai enterré Léa. (Ⅱ) - There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah. (Ⅲ) - ἐκει̃ ἔθαψαν Αβρααμ καὶ Σαρραν τὴν γυναι̃κα αὐτου̃ ἐκει̃ ἔθαψαν Ισαακ καὶ Ρεβεκκαν τὴν γυναι̃κα αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐκει̃ ἔθαψα Λειαν (Ⅳ) - Ibi sepelierunt eum, et Saram uxorem ejus : ibi sepultus est Isaac cum Rebecca conjuge sua : ibi et Lia condita jacet. (Ⅴ)

33 ׃49 ויכל יעקב לצות את בניו ויאסף רגליו אל המטה ויגוע ויאסף אל עמיו
- Lorsque Jacob eut achevé de donner ses ordres à ses fils, il retira ses pieds dans le lit, il expira, et fut recueilli auprès de son peuple. (Ⅱ) - And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people. (Ⅲ) - καὶ κατέπαυσεν Ιακωβ ἐπιτάσσων τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐξάρας τοὺς πόδας αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ τὴν κλίνην ἐξέλιπεν καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Finitisque mandatis quibus filios instruebat, collegit pedes suos super lectulum, et obiit : appositusque est ad populum suum. (Ⅴ)
