Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
- Vous tous qui avez soif, venez aux eaux, Même celui qui n'a pas d'argent! Venez, achetez et mangez, Venez, achetez du vin et du lait, sans argent, sans rien payer! (Ⅱ) - οἱ διψω̃ντες πορεύεσθε ἐφ' ὕδωρ καὶ ὅσοι μὴ ἔχετε ἀργύριον βαδίσαντες ἀγοράσατε καὶ πίετε ἄνευ ἀργυρίου καὶ τιμη̃ς οἴνου καὶ στέαρ (Ⅲ) - Omnes sitientes, venite ad aquas,/ et qui non habetis argentum,/ properate, emite, et comedite :/ venite, emite absque argento/ et absque ulla commutatione/ vinum et lac./ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃55 הוי כל צמא לכו למים ואשר אין לו כסף לכו שברו ואכלו ולכו שברו בלוא כסף ובלוא מחיר יין וחלב (Ⅴ)

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
- Pourquoi pesez-vous de l'argent pour ce qui ne nourrit pas? Pourquoi travaillez-vous pour ce qui ne rassasie pas? Écoutez-moi donc, et vous mangerez ce qui est bon, Et votre âme se délectera de mets succulents. (Ⅱ) - ἵνα τί τιμα̃σθε ἀργυρίου καὶ τὸν μόχθον ὑμω̃ν οὐκ εἰς πλησμονήν ἀκούσατέ μου καὶ φάγεσθε ἀγαθά καὶ ἐντρυφήσει ἐν ἀγαθοι̃ς ἡ ψυχὴ ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Quare appenditis argentum non in panibus,/ et laborem vestrum non in saturitate ?/ Audite, audientes me, et comedite bonum,/ et delectabitur in crassitudine anima vestra./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃55 למה תשקלו כסף בלוא לחם ויגיעכם בלוא לשבעה שמעו שמוע אלי ואכלו טוב ותתענג בדשן נפשכם (Ⅴ)

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
- Prêtez l'oreille, et venez à moi, Écoutez, et votre âme vivra: Je traiterai avec vous une alliance éternelle, Pour rendre durables mes faveurs envers David. (Ⅱ) - προσέχετε τοι̃ς ὠτίοις ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἐπακολουθήσατε ται̃ς ὁδοι̃ς μου ἐπακούσατέ μου καὶ ζήσεται ἐν ἀγαθοι̃ς ἡ ψυχὴ ὑμω̃ν καὶ διαθήσομαι ὑμι̃ν διαθήκην αἰώνιον τὰ ὅσια Δαυιδ τὰ πιστά (Ⅲ) - Inclinate aurem vestram, et venite ad me ;/ audite, et vivet anima vestra,/ et feriam vobiscum pactum sempiternum,/ misericordias David fideles./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃55 הטו אזנכם ולכו אלי שמעו ותחי נפשכם ואכרתה לכם ברית עולם חסדי דוד הנאמנים (Ⅴ)

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
- Voici, je l'ai établi comme témoin auprès des peuples, Comme chef et dominateur des peuples. (Ⅱ) - ἰδοὺ μαρτύριον ἐν ἔθνεσιν δέδωκα αὐτόν ἄρχοντα καὶ προστάσσοντα ἔθνεσιν (Ⅲ) - Ecce testem populis dedi eum,/ ducem ac præceptorem gentibus./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃55 הן עד לאומים נתתיו נגיד ומצוה לאמים (Ⅴ)

Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
- Voici, tu appelleras des nations que tu ne connais pas, Et les nations qui ne te connaissent pas accourront vers toi, A cause de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, Du Saint d'Israël, qui te glorifie. (Ⅱ) - ἔθνη ἃ οὐκ ἤ̨δεισάν σε ἐπικαλέσονταί σε καὶ λαοί οἳ οὐκ ἐπίστανταί σε ἐπὶ σὲ καταφεύξονται ἕνεκεν του̃ θεου̃ σου του̃ ἁγίου Ισραηλ ὅτι ἐδόξασέν σε (Ⅲ) - Ecce gentem quam nesciebas vocabis,/ et gentes quæ te non cognoverunt ad te current,/ propter Dominum Deum tuum,/ et Sanctum Israël, quia glorificavit te./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃55 הן גוי לא תדע תקרא וגוי לא ידעוך אליך ירוצו למען יהוה אלהיך ולקדוש ישראל כי פארך ס (Ⅴ)

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
- Cherchez l'Éternel pendant qu'il se trouve; Invoquez-le, tandis qu'il est près. (Ⅱ) - ζητήσατε τὸν θεὸν καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ εὑρίσκειν αὐτὸν ἐπικαλέσασθε ἡνίκα δ' ἂν ἐγγίζη̨ ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ) - Quærite Dominum dum inveniri potest ;/ invocate eum dum prope est./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃55 דרשו יהוה בהמצאו קראהו בהיותו קרוב (Ⅴ)

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
- Que le méchant abandonne sa voie, Et l'homme d'iniquité ses pensées; Qu'il retourne à l'Éternel, qui aura pitié de lui, A notre Dieu, qui ne se lasse pas de pardonner. (Ⅱ) - ἀπολιπέτω ὁ ἀσεβὴς τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀνὴρ ἄνομος τὰς βουλὰς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπιστραφήτω ἐπὶ κύριον καὶ ἐλεηθήσεται ὅτι ἐπὶ πολὺ ἀφήσει τὰς ἁμαρτίας ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Derelinquat impius viam suam,/ et vir iniquus cogitationes suas,/ et revertatur ad Dominum, et miserebitur ejus ;/ et ad Deum nostrum, quoniam multus est ad ignoscendum./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃55 יעזב רשע דרכו ואיש און מחשבתיו וישב אל יהוה וירחמהו ואל אלהינו כי ירבה לסלוח (Ⅴ)

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
- Car mes pensées ne sont pas vos pensées, Et vos voies ne sont pas mes voies, Dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - οὐ γάρ εἰσιν αἱ βουλαί μου ὥσπερ αἱ βουλαὶ ὑμω̃ν οὐδὲ ὥσπερ αἱ ὁδοὶ ὑμω̃ν αἱ ὁδοί μου λέγει κύριος (Ⅲ) - Non enim cogitationes meæ cogitationes vestræ,/ neque viæ vestræ viæ meæ, dicit Dominus./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃55 כי לא מחשבותי מחשבותיכם ולא דרכיכם דרכי נאם יהוה (Ⅴ)

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
- Autant les cieux sont élevés au-dessus de la terre, Autant mes voies sont élevées au-dessus de vos voies, Et mes pensées au-dessus de vos pensées. (Ⅱ) - ἀλλ' ὡς ἀπέχει ὁ οὐρανὸς ἀπὸ τη̃ς γη̃ς οὕτως ἀπέχει ἡ ὁδός μου ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὁδω̃ν ὑμω̃ν καὶ τὰ διανοήματα ὑμω̃ν ἀπὸ τη̃ς διανοίας μου (Ⅲ) - Quia sicut exaltantur cæli a terra,/ sic exaltatæ sunt viæ meæ a viis vestris,/ et cogitationes meæ a cogitationibus vestris./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃55 כי גבהו שמים מארץ כן גבהו דרכי מדרכיכם ומחשבתי ממחשבתיכם (Ⅴ)

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
- Comme la pluie et la neige descendent des cieux, Et n'y retournent pas Sans avoir arrosé, fécondé la terre, et fait germer les plantes, Sans avoir donné de la semence au semeur Et du pain à celui qui mange, (Ⅱ) - ὡς γὰρ ἐὰν καταβη̨̃ ὑετὸς ἢ χιὼν ἐκ του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποστραφη̨̃ ἕως ἂν μεθύση̨ τὴν γη̃ν καὶ ἐκτέκη̨ καὶ ἐκβλαστήση̨ καὶ δω̨̃ σπέρμα τω̨̃ σπείροντι καὶ ἄρτον εἰς βρω̃σιν (Ⅲ) - Et quomodo descendit imber et nix de cælo,/ et illuc ultra non revertitur,/ sed inebriat terram, et infundit eam,/ et germinare eam facit,/ et dat semen serenti,/ et panem comedenti :/ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃55 כי כאשר ירד הגשם והשלג מן השמים ושמה לא ישוב כי אם הרוה את הארץ והולידה והצמיחה ונתן זרע לזרע ולחם לאכל (Ⅴ)

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
- Ainsi en est-il de ma parole, qui sort de ma bouche: Elle ne retourne point à moi sans effet, Sans avoir exécuté ma volonté Et accompli mes desseins. (Ⅱ) - οὕτως ἔσται τὸ ῥη̃μά μου ὃ ἐὰν ἐξέλθη̨ ἐκ του̃ στόματός μου οὐ μὴ ἀποστραφη̨̃ ἕως ἂν συντελεσθη̨̃ ὅσα ἠθέλησα καὶ εὐοδώσω τὰς ὁδούς σου καὶ τὰ ἐντάλματά μου (Ⅲ) - sic erit verbum meum quod egredietur de ore meo ;/ non revertetur ad me vacuum,/ sed faciet quæcumque volui,/ et prosperabitur in his ad quæ misi illud./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃55 כן יהיה דברי אשר יצא מפי לא ישוב אלי ריקם כי אם עשה את אשר חפצתי והצליח אשר שלחתיו (Ⅴ)

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
- Oui, vous sortirez avec joie, Et vous serez conduits en paix; Les montagnes et les collines éclateront d'allégresse devant vous, Et tous les arbres de la campagne battront des mains. (Ⅱ) - ἐν γὰρ εὐφροσύνη̨ ἐξελεύσεσθε καὶ ἐν χαρα̨̃ διδαχθήσεσθε τὰ γὰρ ὄρη καὶ οἱ βουνοὶ ἐξαλου̃νται προσδεχόμενοι ὑμα̃ς ἐν χαρα̨̃ καὶ πάντα τὰ ξύλα του̃ ἀγρου̃ ἐπικροτήσει τοι̃ς κλάδοις (Ⅲ) - Quia in lætitia egrediemini,/ et in pace deducemini ;/ montes et colles cantabunt coram vobis laudem,/ et omnia ligna regionis plaudent manu./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃55 כי בשמחה תצאו ובשלום תובלון ההרים והגבעות יפצחו לפניכם רנה וכל עצי השדה ימחאו כף (Ⅴ)

Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
- Au lieu de l'épine s'élèvera le cyprès, Au lieu de la ronce croîtra le myrte; Et ce sera pour l'Éternel une gloire, Un monument perpétuel, impérissable. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀντὶ τη̃ς στοιβη̃ς ἀναβήσεται κυπάρισσος ἀντὶ δὲ τη̃ς κονύζης ἀναβήσεται μυρσίνη καὶ ἔσται κύριος εἰς ὄνομα καὶ εἰς σημει̃ον αἰώνιον καὶ οὐκ ἐκλείψει (Ⅲ) - Pro saliunca ascendet abies,/ et pro urtica crescet myrtus ;/ et erit Dominus nominatus/ in signum æternum quod non auferetur.] (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃55 תחת הנעצוץ יעלה ברוש *תחת **ותחת הסרפד יעלה הדס והיה ליהוה לשם לאות עולם לא יכרת ס (Ⅴ)
