Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.
- Jéricho était fermée et barricadée devant les enfants d'Israël. Personne ne sortait, et personne n'entrait. (Ⅱ) - καὶ Ιεριχω συγκεκλεισμένη καὶ ὠχυρωμένη καὶ οὐθεὶς ἐξεπορεύετο ἐξ αὐτη̃ς οὐδὲ εἰσεπορεύετο (Ⅲ) - Jericho autem clausa erat atque munita, timore filiorum Israël, et nullus egredi audebat aut ingredi. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃6 ויריחו סגרת ומסגרת מפני בני ישראל אין יוצא ואין בא ס (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valor.
- L'Éternel dit à Josué: Vois, je livre entre tes mains Jéricho et son roi, ses vaillants soldats. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς 'Ιησου̃ν ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ παραδίδωμι ὑποχείριόν σου τὴν Ιεριχω καὶ τὸν βασιλέα αὐτη̃ς τὸν ἐν αὐτη̨̃ δυνατοὺς ὄντας ἐν ἰσχύι (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Dominus ad Josue : Ecce dedi in manu tua Jericho, et regem ejus, omnesque fortes viros. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃6 ויאמר יהוה אל יהושע ראה נתתי בידך את יריחו ואת מלכה גבורי החיל (Ⅴ)

And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.
- Faites le tour de la ville, vous tous les hommes de guerre, faites une fois le tour de la ville. Tu feras ainsi pendant six jours. (Ⅱ) - σὺ δὲ περίστησον αὐτη̨̃ τοὺς μαχίμους κύκλω̨ (Ⅲ) - Circuite urbem cuncti bellatores semel per diem : sic facietis sex diebus. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃6 וסבתם את העיר כל אנשי המלחמה הקיף את העיר פעם אחת כה תעשה ששת ימים (Ⅴ)

And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
- Sept sacrificateurs porteront devant l'arche sept trompettes retentissantes; le septième jour, vous ferez sept fois le tour de la ville; et les sacrificateurs sonneront des trompettes. (Ⅱ) - Septimo autem die, sacerdotes tollant septem buccinas, quarum usus est in jubilæo, et præcedant arcam fœderis : septiesque circuibitis civitatem, et sacerdotes clangent buccinis. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃6 ושבעה כהנים ישאו שבעה שופרות היובלים לפני הארון וביום השביעי תסבו את העיר שבע פעמים והכהנים יתקעו בשופרות (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.
- Quand ils sonneront de la corne retentissante, quand vous entendrez le son de la trompette, tout le peuple poussera de grands cris. Alors la muraille de la ville s'écroulera, et le peuple montera, chacun devant soi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ὡς ἂν σαλπίσητε τη̨̃ σάλπιγγι ἀνακραγέτω πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς ἅμα καὶ ἀνακραγόντων αὐτω̃ν πεσει̃ται αὐτόματα τὰ τείχη τη̃ς πόλεως καὶ εἰσελεύσεται πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς ὁρμήσας ἕκαστος κατὰ πρόσωπον εἰς τὴν πόλιν (Ⅲ) - Cumque insonuerit vox tubæ longior atque concisior, et in auribus vestris increpuerit, conclamabit omnis populus vociferatione maxima, et muri funditus corruent civitatis, ingredienturque singuli per locum contra quem steterint. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃6 והיה במשך בקרן היובל *בשמעכם **כשמעכם את קול השופר יריעו כל העם תרועה גדולה ונפלה חומת העיר תחתיה ועלו העם איש נגדו (Ⅴ)

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD.
- Josué, fils de Nun, appela les sacrificateurs, et leur dit: Portez l'arche de l'alliance, et que sept sacrificateurs portent sept trompettes retentissantes devant l'arche de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰση̃λθεν 'Ιησου̃ς ὁ του̃ Ναυη πρὸς τοὺς ἱερει̃ς (Ⅲ) - Vocavit ergo Josue filius Nun sacerdotes, et dixit ad eos : Tollite arcam fœderis : et septem alii sacerdotes tollant septem jubilæorum buccinas, et incedant ante arcam Domini. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃6 ויקרא יהושע בן נון אל הכהנים ויאמר אלהם שאו את ארון הברית ושבעה כהנים ישאו שבעה שופרות יובלים לפני ארון יהוה (Ⅴ)

And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the LORD.
- Et il dit au peuple: Marchez, faites le tour de la ville, et que les hommes armés passent devant l'arche de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς λέγων παραγγείλατε τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ περιελθει̃ν καὶ κυκλω̃σαι τὴν πόλιν καὶ οἱ μάχιμοι παραπορευέσθωσαν ἐνωπλισμένοι ἐναντίον κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Ad populum quoque ait : Ite, et circuite civitatem, armati, præcedentes arcam Domini.\ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃6 *ויאמרו **ויאמר אל העם עברו וסבו את העיר והחלוץ יעבר לפני ארון יהוה (Ⅴ)

And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.
- Lorsque Josué eut parlé au peuple, les sept sacrificateurs qui portaient devant l'Éternel les sept trompettes retentissantes se mirent en marche et sonnèrent des trompettes. L'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel allait derrière eux. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἑπτὰ ἱερει̃ς ἔχοντες ἑπτὰ σάλπιγγας ἱερὰς παρελθέτωσαν ὡσαύτως ἐναντίον του̃ κυρίου καὶ σημαινέτωσαν εὐτόνως καὶ ἡ κιβωτὸς τη̃ς διαθήκης κυρίου ἐπακολουθείτω (Ⅲ) - Cumque Josue verba finisset, et septem sacerdotes septem buccinis clangerent ante arcam fœderis Domini, (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃6 ויהי כאמר יהושע אל העם ושבעה הכהנים נשאים שבעה שופרות היובלים לפני יהוה עברו ותקעו בשופרות וארון ברית יהוה הלך אחריהם (Ⅴ)

And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rearward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
- Les hommes armés marchaient devant les sacrificateurs qui sonnaient des trompettes, et l'arrière-garde suivait l'arche; pendant la marche, on sonnait des trompettes. (Ⅱ) - οἱ δὲ μάχιμοι ἔμπροσθεν παραπορευέσθωσαν καὶ οἱ ἱερει̃ς οἱ οὐραγου̃ντες ὀπίσω τη̃ς κιβωτου̃ τη̃ς διαθήκης κυρίου πορευόμενοι καὶ σαλπίζοντες (Ⅲ) - omnisque præcederet armatus exercitus, reliquum vulgus arcam sequebatur, ac buccinis omnia concrepabant. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃6 והחלוץ הלך לפני הכהנים *תקעו **תקעי השופרות והמאסף הלך אחרי הארון הלוך ותקוע בשופרות (Ⅴ)

And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.
- Josué avait donné cet ordre au peuple: Vous ne crierez point, vous ne ferez point entendre votre voix, et il ne sortira pas un mot de votre bouche jusqu'au jour où je vous dirai: Poussez des cris! Alors vous pousserez des cris. (Ⅱ) - τω̨̃ δὲ λαω̨̃ ἐνετείλατο 'Ιησου̃ς λέγων μὴ βοα̃τε μηδὲ ἀκουσάτω μηθεὶς ὑμω̃ν τὴν φωνήν ἕως ἂν ἡμέραν αὐτὸς διαγγείλη̨ ἀναβοη̃σαι καὶ τότε ἀναβοήσετε (Ⅲ) - Præceperat autem Josue populo, dicens : Non clamabitis, nec audietur vox vestra, neque ullus sermo ex ore vestro egredietur, donec veniat dies in quo dicam vobis : Clamate, et vociferamini. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃6 ואת העם צוה יהושע לאמר לא תריעו ולא תשמיעו את קולכם ולא יצא מפיכם דבר עד יום אמרי אליכם הריעו והריעתם (Ⅴ)

So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.
- L'arche de l'Éternel fit le tour de la ville, elle fit une fois le tour; puis on rentra dans le camp, et l'on y passa la nuit. (Ⅱ) - καὶ περιελθου̃σα ἡ κιβωτὸς τη̃ς διαθήκης του̃ θεου̃ τὴν πόλιν εὐθέως ἀπη̃λθεν εἰς τὴν παρεμβολὴν καὶ ἐκοιμήθη ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ) - Circuivit ergo arca Domini civitatem semel per diem, et reversa in castra mansit ibi. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃6 ויסב ארון יהוה את העיר הקף פעם אחת ויבאו המחנה וילינו במחנה פ (Ⅴ)

And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.
- Josué se leva de bon matin, et les sacrificateurs portèrent l'arche de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ δευτέρα̨ ἀνέστη 'Ιησου̃ς τὸ πρωί καὶ ἠ̃ραν οἱ ἱερει̃ς τὴν κιβωτὸν τη̃ς διαθήκης κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Igitur Josue de nocte consurgente, tulerunt sacerdotes arcam Domini, (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃6 וישכם יהושע בבקר וישאו הכהנים את ארון יהוה (Ⅴ)

And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rearward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
- Les sept sacrificateurs qui portaient les sept trompettes retentissantes devant l'arche de l'Éternel se mirent en marche et sonnèrent des trompettes. Les hommes armés marchaient devant eux, et l'arrière-garde suivait l'arche de l'Éternel; pendant la marche, on sonnait des trompettes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οἱ ἑπτὰ ἱερει̃ς οἱ φέροντες τὰς σάλπιγγας τὰς ἑπτὰ προεπορεύοντο ἐναντίον κυρίου καὶ μετὰ ταυ̃τα εἰσεπορεύοντο οἱ μάχιμοι καὶ ὁ λοιπὸς ὄχλος ὄπισθε τη̃ς κιβωτου̃ τη̃ς διαθήκης κυρίου καὶ οἱ ἱερει̃ς ἐσάλπισαν ται̃ς σάλπιγξι καὶ ὁ λοιπὸς ὄχλος ἅπας περιεκύκλωσε τὴν πόλιν ἐγγύθεν (Ⅲ) - et septem ex eis septem buccinas, quarum in jubilæo usus est : præcedebantque arcam Domini ambulantes atque clangentes : et armatus populus ibat ante eos, vulgus autem reliquum sequebatur arcam, et buccinis personabat. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃6 ושבעה הכהנים נשאים שבעה שופרות היבלים לפני ארון יהוה הלכים הלוך ותקעו בשופרות והחלוץ הלך לפניהם והמאסף הלך אחרי ארון יהוה *הולך **הלוך ותקוע בשופרות (Ⅴ)

And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.
- Ils firent une fois le tour de la ville, le second jour; puis ils retournèrent dans le camp. Ils firent de même pendant six jours. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπη̃λθεν πάλιν εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν οὕτως ἐποίει ἐπὶ ἓξ ἡμέρας (Ⅲ) - Circuieruntque civitatem secundo die semel, et reversi sunt in castra. Sic fecerunt sex diebus.\ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃6 ויסבו את העיר ביום השני פעם אחת וישבו המחנה כה עשו ששת ימים (Ⅴ)

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.
- Le septième jour, ils se levèrent de bon matin, dès l'aurore, et ils firent de la même manière sept fois le tour de la ville; ce fut le seul jour où ils firent sept fois le tour de la ville. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ ἑβδόμη̨ ἀνέστησαν ὄρθρου καὶ περιήλθοσαν τὴν πόλιν ἑξάκις (Ⅲ) - Dies autem septimo, diluculo consurgentes, circuierunt urbem, sicut dispositum erat, septies. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃6 ויהי ביום השביעי וישכמו כעלות השחר ויסבו את העיר כמשפט הזה שבע פעמים רק ביום ההוא סבבו את העיר שבע פעמים (Ⅴ)

And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.
- A la septième fois, comme les sacrificateurs sonnaient des trompettes, Josué dit au peuple: Poussez des cris, car l'Éternel vous a livré la ville! (Ⅱ) - καὶ τη̨̃ περιόδω̨ τη̨̃ ἑβδόμη̨ ἐσάλπισαν οἱ ἱερει̃ς καὶ εἰ̃πεν 'Ιησου̃ς τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ κεκράξατε παρέδωκεν γὰρ κύριος ὑμι̃ν τὴν πόλιν (Ⅲ) - Cumque septimo circuitu clangerent buccinis sacerdotes, dixit Josue ad omnem Israël : Vociferamini : tradidit enim vobis Dominus civitatem. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃6 ויהי בפעם השביעית תקעו הכהנים בשופרות ויאמר יהושע אל העם הריעו כי נתן יהוה לכם את העיר (Ⅴ)

And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
- La ville sera dévouée à l'Éternel par interdit, elle et tout ce qui s'y trouve; mais on laissera la vie à Rahab la prostituée et à tous ceux qui seront avec elle dans la maison, parce qu'elle a caché les messagers que nous avions envoyés. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ἡ πόλις ἀνάθεμα αὐτὴ καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν αὐτη̨̃ κυρίω̨ σαβαωθ πλὴν Ρααβ τὴν πόρνην περιποιήσασθε αὐτὴν καὶ ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Sitque civitas hæc anathema, et omnia quæ in ea sunt, Domino : sola Rahab meretrix vivat, cum universis qui cum ea in domo sunt : abscondit enim nuntios quos direximus. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃6 והיתה העיר חרם היא וכל אשר בה ליהוה רק רחב הזונה תחיה היא וכל אשר אתה בבית כי החבאתה את המלאכים אשר שלחנו (Ⅴ)

And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
- Gardez-vous seulement de ce qui sera dévoué par interdit; car si vous preniez de ce que vous aurez dévoué par interdit, vous mettriez le camp d'Israël en interdit et vous y jetteriez le trouble. (Ⅱ) - ἀλλὰ ὑμει̃ς φυλάξασθε σφόδρα ἀπὸ του̃ ἀναθέματος μήποτε ἐνθυμηθέντες ὑμει̃ς αὐτοὶ λάβητε ἀπὸ του̃ ἀναθέματος καὶ ποιήσητε τὴν παρεμβολὴν τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἀνάθεμα καὶ ἐκτρίψητε ἡμα̃ς (Ⅲ) - Vos autem cavete ne de his, quæ præcepta sunt, quippiam contingatis, et sitis prævaricationis rei, et omnia castra Israël sub peccato sint atque turbentur. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃6 ורק אתם שמרו מן החרם פן תחרימו ולקחתם מן החרם ושמתם את מחנה ישראל לחרם ועכרתם אותו (Ⅴ)

But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.
- Tout l'argent et tout l'or, tous les objets d'airain et de fer, seront consacrés à l'Éternel, et entreront dans le trésor de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πα̃ν ἀργύριον ἢ χρυσίον ἢ χαλκὸς ἢ σίδηρος ἅγιον ἔσται τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ εἰς θησαυρὸν κυρίου εἰσενεχθήσεται (Ⅲ) - Quidquid autem auri et argenti fuerit, et vasorum æneorum ac ferri, Domino consecretur, repositum in thesauris ejus. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃6 וכל כסף וזהב וכלי נחשת וברזל קדש הוא ליהוה אוצר יהוה יבוא (Ⅴ)

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
- Le peuple poussa des cris, et les sacrificateurs sonnèrent des trompettes. Lorsque le peuple entendit le son de la trompette, il poussa de grands cris, et la muraille s'écroula; le peuple monta dans la ville, chacun devant soi. Ils s'emparèrent de la ville, (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐσάλπισαν ται̃ς σάλπιγξιν οἱ ἱερει̃ς ὡς δὲ ἤκουσεν ὁ λαὸς τὴν φωνὴν τω̃ν σαλπίγγων ἠλάλαξεν πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς ἅμα ἀλαλαγμω̨̃ μεγάλω̨ καὶ ἰσχυρω̨̃ καὶ ἔπεσεν ἅπαν τὸ τει̃χος κύκλω̨ καὶ ἀνέβη πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς εἰς τὴν πόλιν (Ⅲ) - Igitur omni populo vociferante, et clangentibus tubis, postquam in aures multitudinis vox sonitusque increpuit, muri illico corruerunt : et ascendit unusquisque per locum qui contra se erat : ceperuntque civitatem, (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃6 וירע העם ויתקעו בשפרות ויהי כשמע העם את קול השופר ויריעו העם תרועה גדולה ותפל החומה תחתיה ויעל העם העירה איש נגדו וילכדו את העיר (Ⅴ)

And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.
- et ils dévouèrent par interdit, au fil de l'épée, tout ce qui était dans la ville, hommes et femmes, enfants et vieillards, jusqu'aux boeufs, aux brebis et aux ânes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνεθεμάτισεν αὐτὴν 'Ιησου̃ς καὶ ὅσα ἠ̃ν ἐν τη̨̃ πόλει ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς καὶ ἕως γυναικός ἀπὸ νεανίσκου καὶ ἕως πρεσβύτου καὶ ἕως μόσχου καὶ ὑποζυγίου ἐν στόματι ῥομφαίας (Ⅲ) - et interfecerunt omnia quæ erant in ea, a viro usque ad mulierem, ab infante usque ad senem. Boves quoque et oves et asinos in ore gladii percusserunt.\ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃6 ויחרימו את כל אשר בעיר מאיש ועד אשה מנער ועד זקן ועד שור ושה וחמור לפי חרב (Ⅴ)

But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her.
- Josué dit aux deux hommes qui avaient exploré le pays: Entrez dans la maison de la femme prostituée, et faites-en sortir cette femme et tous ceux qui lui appartiennent, comme vous le lui avez juré. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τοι̃ς δυσὶν νεανίσκοις τοι̃ς κατασκοπεύσασιν εἰ̃πεν 'Ιησου̃ς εἰσέλθατε εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν τη̃ς γυναικὸς καὶ ἐξαγάγετε αὐτὴν ἐκει̃θεν καὶ ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Duobus autem viris, qui exploratores missi fuerant, dixit Josue : Ingredimini domum mulieris meretricis, et producite eam, et omnia quæ illius sunt, sicut illi juramento firmastis. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃6 ולשנים האנשים המרגלים את הארץ אמר יהושע באו בית האשה הזונה והוציאו משם את האשה ואת כל אשר לה כאשר נשבעתם לה (Ⅴ)

And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.
- Les jeunes gens, les espions, entrèrent et firent sortir Rahab, son père, sa mère, ses frères, et tous ceux qui lui appartenaient; ils firent sortir tous les gens de sa famille, et ils les déposèrent hors du camp d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰση̃λθον οἱ δύο νεανίσκοι οἱ κατασκοπεύσαντες τὴν πόλιν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν τη̃ς γυναικὸς καὶ ἐξηγάγοσαν Ρααβ τὴν πόρνην καὶ τὸν πατέρα αὐτη̃ς καὶ τὴν μητέρα αὐτη̃ς καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτη̃ς καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἠ̃ν αὐτη̨̃ καὶ πα̃σαν τὴν συγγένειαν αὐτη̃ς καὶ κατέστησαν αὐτὴν ἔξω τη̃ς παρεμβολη̃ς Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Ingressique juvenes eduxerunt Rahab, et parentes ejus, fratres quoque, et cunctam supellectilem ac cognationem illius, et extra castra Israël manere fecerunt. (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃6 ויבאו הנערים המרגלים ויציאו את רחב ואת אביה ואת אמה ואת אחיה ואת כל אשר לה ואת כל משפחותיה הוציאו ויניחום מחוץ למחנה ישראל (Ⅴ)

And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.
- Ils brûlèrent la ville et tout ce qui s'y trouvait; seulement ils mirent dans le trésor de la maison de l'Éternel l'argent, l'or et tous les objets d'airain et de fer. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἡ πόλις ἐνεπρήσθη ἐμπυρισμω̨̃ σὺν πα̃σιν τοι̃ς ἐν αὐτη̨̃ πλὴν ἀργυρίου καὶ χρυσίου καὶ χαλκου̃ καὶ σιδήρου ἔδωκαν εἰς θησαυρὸν κυρίου εἰσενεχθη̃ναι (Ⅲ) - Urbem autem, et omnia quæ erant in ea, succenderunt, absque auro et argento, et vasis æneis, ac ferro, quæ in ærarium Domini consecrarunt. (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃6 והעיר שרפו באש וכל אשר בה רק הכסף והזהב וכלי הנחשת והברזל נתנו אוצר בית יהוה (Ⅴ)

And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
- Josué laissa la vie à Rahab la prostituée, à la maison de son père, et à tous ceux qui lui appartenaient; elle a habité au milieu d'Israël jusqu'à ce jour, parce qu'elle avait caché les messagers que Josué avait envoyés pour explorer Jéricho. (Ⅱ) - καὶ Ρααβ τὴν πόρνην καὶ πάντα τὸν οἰ̃κον τὸν πατρικὸν αὐτη̃ς ἐζώγρησεν 'Ιησου̃ς καὶ κατώ̨κησεν ἐν τω̨̃ Ισραηλ ἕως τη̃ς σήμερον ἡμέρας διότι ἔκρυψεν τοὺς κατασκοπεύσαντας οὓς ἀπέστειλεν 'Ιησου̃ς κατασκοπευ̃σαι τὴν Ιεριχω (Ⅲ) - Rahab vero meretricem, et domum patris ejus, et omnia quæ habebat, fecit Josue vivere, et habitaverunt in medio Israël, usque in præsentem diem : eo quod absconderit nuntios, quos miserat ut explorarent Jericho. In tempore illo, imprecatus est Josue, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃6 ואת רחב הזונה ואת בית אביה ואת כל אשר לה החיה יהושע ותשב בקרב ישראל עד היום הזה כי החביאה את המלאכים אשר שלח יהושע לרגל את יריחו פ (Ⅴ)

And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.
- Ce fut alors que Josué jura, en disant: Maudit soit devant l'Éternel l'homme qui se lèvera pour rebâtir cette ville de Jéricho! Il en jettera les fondements au prix de son premier-né, et il en posera les portes au prix de son plus jeune fils. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὥρκισεν 'Ιησου̃ς ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ ἐναντίον κυρίου λέγων ἐπικατάρατος ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὃς οἰκοδομήσει τὴν πόλιν ἐκείνην ἐν τω̨̃ πρωτοτόκω̨ αὐτου̃ θεμελιώσει αὐτὴν καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ ἐλαχίστω̨ αὐτου̃ ἐπιστήσει τὰς πύλας αὐτη̃ς καὶ οὕτως ἐποίησεν Οζαν ὁ ἐκ Βαιθηλ ἐν τω̨̃ Αβιρων τω̨̃ πρωτοτόκω̨ ἐθεμελίωσεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ ἐλαχίστω̨ διασωθέντι ἐπέστησεν τὰς πύλας αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Maledictus vir coram Domino, qui suscitaverit et ædificaverit civitatem Jericho. In primogenito suo fundamenta illius jaciat, et in novissimo liberorum ponat portas ejus. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃6 וישבע יהושע בעת ההיא לאמר ארור האיש לפני יהוה אשר יקום ובנה את העיר הזאת את יריחו בבכרו ייסדנה ובצעירו יציב דלתיה (Ⅴ)

So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.
- L'Éternel fut avec Josué, dont la renommée se répandit dans tout le pays. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἠ̃ν κύριος μετὰ 'Ιησου̃ καὶ ἠ̃ν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ κατὰ πα̃σαν τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅲ) - Fuit ergo Dominus cum Josue, et nomen ejus vulgatum est in omni terra. (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃6 ויהי יהוה את יהושע ויהי שמעו בכל הארץ (Ⅴ)
