2 ׃83 אלהים אל דמי לך אל תחרש ואל תשקט אל
- O Dieu, ne reste pas dans le silence! Ne te tais pas, et ne te repose pas, ô Dieu! (Ⅱ) - Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. (Ⅲ) - ὁ θεός τίς ὁμοιωθήσεταί σοι μὴ σιγήση̨ς μηδὲ καταπραΰνη̨ς ὁ θεός (Ⅳ) - [Deus, quis similis erit tibi ?/ ne taceas, neque compescaris, Deus :/ (Ⅴ)

3 ׃83 כי הנה אויביך יהמיון ומשנאיך נשאו ראש
- Car voici, tes ennemis s'agitent, Ceux qui te haïssent lèvent la tête. (Ⅱ) - For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. (Ⅲ) - ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ ἐχθροί σου ἤχησαν καὶ οἱ μισου̃ντές σε ἠ̃ραν κεφαλήν (Ⅳ) - quoniam ecce inimici tui sonuerunt,/ et qui oderunt te extulerunt caput./ (Ⅴ)

4 ׃83 על עמך יערימו סוד ויתיעצו על צפוניך
- Ils forment contre ton peuple des projets pleins de ruse, Et ils délibèrent contre ceux que tu protèges. (Ⅱ) - They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. (Ⅲ) - ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν σου κατεπανουργεύσαντο γνώμην καὶ ἐβουλεύσαντο κατὰ τω̃ν ἁγίων σου (Ⅳ) - Super populum tuum malignaverunt consilium,/ et cogitaverunt adversus sanctos tuos./ (Ⅴ)

5 ׃83 אמרו לכו ונכחידם מגוי ולא יזכר שם ישראל עוד
- Venez, disent-ils, exterminons-les du milieu des nations, Et qu'on ne se souvienne plus du nom d'Israël! (Ⅱ) - They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. (Ⅲ) - εἰ̃παν δευ̃τε καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσωμεν αὐτοὺς ἐξ ἔθνους καὶ οὐ μὴ μνησθη̨̃ τὸ ὄνομα Ισραηλ ἔτι (Ⅳ) - Dixerunt : Venite, et disperdamus eos de gente,/ et non memoretur nomen Israël ultra./ (Ⅴ)

6 ׃83 כי נועצו לב יחדו עליך ברית יכרתו
- Ils se concertent tous d'un même coeur, Ils font une alliance contre toi; (Ⅱ) - For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: (Ⅲ) - ὅτι ἐβουλεύσαντο ἐν ὁμονοία̨ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό κατὰ σου̃ διαθήκην διέθεντο (Ⅳ) - Quoniam cogitaverunt unanimiter ;/ simul adversum te testamentum disposuerunt :/ (Ⅴ)

9 ׃83 גם אשור נלוה עמם היו זרוע לבני לוט סלה
- L'Assyrie aussi se joint à eux, Elle prête son bras aux enfants de Lot. Pause. (Ⅱ) - Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah. - Traite-les comme Madian, Comme Sisera, comme Jabin au torrent de Kison! (Ⅱ) - Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: (Ⅲ) - ποίησον αὐτοι̃ς ὡς τη̨̃ Μαδιαμ καὶ τω̨̃ Σισαρα ὡς ὁ Ιαβιν ἐν τω̨̃ χειμάρρω̨ Κισων (Ⅳ) - Fac illis sicut Madian et Sisaræ,/ sicut Jabin in torrente Cisson./ (Ⅴ)

12 ׃83 שיתמו נדיבמו כערב וכזאב וכזבח וכצלמנע כל נסיכמו
- Traite leurs chefs comme Oreb et Zeeb, Et tous leurs princes comme Zébach et Tsalmunna! (Ⅱ) - Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: (Ⅲ) - θου̃ τοὺς ἄρχοντας αὐτω̃ν ὡς τὸν Ωρηβ καὶ Ζηβ καὶ Ζεβεε καὶ Σαλμανα πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Pone principes eorum sicut Oreb,/ et Zeb, et Zebee, et Salmana :/ omnes principes eorum,/ (Ⅴ)

13 ׃83 אשר אמרו נירשה לנו את נאות אלהים
- Car ils disent: Emparons-nous Des demeures de Dieu! (Ⅱ) - Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession. (Ⅲ) - οἵτινες εἰ̃παν κληρονομήσωμεν ἑαυτοι̃ς τὸ ἁγιαστήριον του̃ θεου̃ (Ⅳ) - qui dixerunt : Hæreditate possideamus sanctuarium Dei./ (Ⅴ)

14 ׃83 אלהי שיתמו כגלגל כקש לפני רוח
- Mon Dieu! rends-les semblables au tourbillon, Au chaume qu'emporte le vent, (Ⅱ) - O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. (Ⅲ) - ὁ θεός μου θου̃ αὐτοὺς ὡς τροχόν ὡς καλάμην κατὰ πρόσωπον ἀνέμου (Ⅳ) - Deus meus, pone illos ut rotam,/ et sicut stipulam ante faciem venti./ (Ⅴ)

15 ׃83 כאש תבער יער וכלהבה תלהט הרים
- Au feu qui brûle la forêt, A la flamme qui embrase les montagnes! (Ⅱ) - As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire; (Ⅲ) - ὡσεὶ πυ̃ρ ὃ διαφλέξει δρυμόν ὡς εἰ φλὸξ κατακαύσαι ὄρη (Ⅳ) - Sicut ignis qui comburit silvam,/ et sicut flamma comburens montes,/ (Ⅴ)

16 ׃83 כן תרדפם בסערך ובסופתך תבהלם
- Poursuis-les ainsi de ta tempête, Et fais-les trembler par ton ouragan! (Ⅱ) - So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm. (Ⅲ) - οὕτως καταδιώξεις αὐτοὺς ἐν τη̨̃ καταιγίδι σου καὶ ἐν τη̨̃ ὀργη̨̃ σου ταράξεις αὐτούς (Ⅳ) - ita persequeris illos in tempestate tua,/ et in ira tua turbabis eos./ (Ⅴ)

17 ׃83 מלא פניהם קלון ויבקשו שמך יהוה
- Couvre leur face d'ignominie, Afin qu'ils cherchent ton nom, ô Éternel! (Ⅱ) - Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD. (Ⅲ) - πλήρωσον τὰ πρόσωπα αὐτω̃ν ἀτιμίας καὶ ζητήσουσιν τὸ ὄνομά σου κύριε (Ⅳ) - Imple facies eorum ignominia,/ et quærent nomen tuum, Domine./ (Ⅴ)

18 ׃83 יבשו ויבהלו עדי עד ויחפרו ויאבדו
- Qu'ils soient confus et épouvantés pour toujours, Qu'ils soient honteux et qu'ils périssent! (Ⅱ) - Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: (Ⅲ) - αἰσχυνθήτωσαν καὶ ταραχθήτωσαν εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να του̃ αἰω̃νος καὶ ἐντραπήτωσαν καὶ ἀπολέσθωσαν (Ⅳ) - Erubescant, et conturbentur in sæculum sæculi,/ et confundantur, et pereant./ (Ⅴ)

19 ׃83 וידעו כי אתה שמך יהוה לבדך עליון על כל הארץ
- Qu'ils sachent que toi seul, dont le nom est l'Éternel, Tu es le Très Haut sur toute la terre! (Ⅱ) - That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth. (Ⅲ) - καὶ γνώτωσαν ὅτι ὄνομά σοι κύριος σὺ μόνος ὕψιστος ἐπὶ πα̃σαν τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅳ) - Et cognoscant quia nomen tibi Dominus :/ tu solus Altissimus in omni terra.] (Ⅴ)
