1 ׃9 חכמות בנתה ביתה חצבה עמודיה שבעה
- La sagesse a bâti sa maison, Elle a taillé ses sept colonnes. (Ⅱ) - Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: (Ⅲ) - ἡ σοφία ὠ̨κοδόμησεν ἑαυτη̨̃ οἰ̃κον καὶ ὑπήρεισεν στύλους ἑπτά (Ⅳ) - Sapientia ædificavit sibi domum :/ excidit columnas septem./ (Ⅴ)

2 ׃9 טבחה טבחה מסכה יינה אף ערכה שלחנה
- Elle a égorgé ses victimes, mêlé son vin, Et dressé sa table. (Ⅱ) - She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table. (Ⅲ) - ἔσφαξεν τὰ ἑαυτη̃ς θύματα ἐκέρασεν εἰς κρατη̃ρα τὸν ἑαυτη̃ς οἰ̃νον καὶ ἡτοιμάσατο τὴν ἑαυτη̃ς τράπεζαν (Ⅳ) - Immolavit victimas suas, miscuit vinum,/ et proposuit mensam suam./ (Ⅴ)

3 ׃9 שלחה נערתיה תקרא על גפי מרמי קרת
- Elle a envoyé ses servantes, elle crie Sur le sommet des hauteurs de la ville: (Ⅱ) - She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city, (Ⅲ) - ἀπέστειλεν τοὺς ἑαυτη̃ς δούλους συγκαλούσα μετὰ ὑψηλου̃ κηρύγματος ἐπὶ κρατη̃ρα λέγουσα (Ⅳ) - Misit ancillas suas ut vocarent/ ad arcem et ad mœnia civitatis./ (Ⅴ)

4 ׃9 מי פתי יסר הנה חסר לב אמרה לו
- Que celui qui est stupide entre ici! Elle dit à ceux qui sont dépourvus de sens: (Ⅱ) - Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, (Ⅲ) - ὅς ἐστιν ἄφρων ἐκκλινάτω πρός με καὶ τοι̃ς ἐνδεέσι φρενω̃ν εἰ̃πεν (Ⅳ) - Si quis est parvulus, veniat ad me./ Et insipientibus locuta est :/ (Ⅴ)

5 ׃9 לכו לחמו בלחמי ושתו ביין מסכתי
- Venez, mangez de mon pain, Et buvez du vin que j'ai mêlé; (Ⅱ) - Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled. (Ⅲ) - ἔλθατε φάγετε τω̃ν ἐμω̃ν ἄρτων καὶ πίετε οἰ̃νον ὃν ἐκέρασα ὑμι̃ν (Ⅳ) - Venite, comedite panem meum,/ et bibite vinum quod miscui vobis./ (Ⅴ)

6 ׃9 עזבו פתאים וחיו ואשרו בדרך בינה
- Quittez la stupidité, et vous vivrez, Et marchez dans la voie de l'intelligence! (Ⅱ) - Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. (Ⅲ) - ἀπολείπετε ἀφροσύνην καὶ ζήσεσθε καὶ ζητήσατε φρόνησιν ἵνα βιώσητε καὶ κατορθώσατε ἐν γνώσει σύνεσιν (Ⅳ) - Relinquite infantiam, et vivite,/ et ambulate per vias prudentiæ.]\ (Ⅴ)

7 ׃9 יסר לץ לקח לו קלון ומוכיח לרשע מומו
- Celui qui reprend le moqueur s'attire le dédain, Et celui qui corrige le méchant reçoit un outrage. (Ⅱ) - He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot. (Ⅲ) - ὁ παιδεύων κακοὺς λήμψεται ἑαυτω̨̃ ἀτιμίαν ἐλέγχων δὲ τὸν ἀσεβη̃ μωμήσεται ἑαυτόν (Ⅳ) - Qui erudit derisorem, ipse injuriam sibi facit,/ et qui arguit impium, sibi maculam generat./ (Ⅴ)

8 ׃9 אל תוכח לץ פן ישנאך הוכח לחכם ויאהבך
- Ne reprends pas le moqueur, de crainte qu'il ne te haïsse; Reprends le sage, et il t'aimera. (Ⅱ) - Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. (Ⅲ) - μὴ ἔλεγχε κακούς ἵνα μὴ μισω̃σίν σε ἔλεγχε σοφόν καὶ ἀγαπήσει σε (Ⅳ) - Noli arguere derisorem, ne oderit te :/ argue sapientem, et diliget te./ (Ⅴ)

9 ׃9 תן לחכם ויחכם עוד הודע לצדיק ויוסף לקח פ
- Donne au sage, et il deviendra plus sage; Instruis le juste, et il augmentera son savoir. (Ⅱ) - Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. (Ⅲ) - δίδου σοφω̨̃ ἀφορμήν καὶ σοφώτερος ἔσται γνώριζε δικαίω̨ καὶ προσθήσει του̃ δέχεσθαι (Ⅳ) - Da sapienti occasionem, et addetur ei sapientia ;/ doce justum, et festinabit accipere./ (Ⅴ)

10 ׃9 תחלת חכמה יראת יהוה ודעת קדשים בינה
- Le commencement de la sagesse, c'est la crainte de l'Éternel; Et la science des saints, c'est l'intelligence. (Ⅱ) - The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. (Ⅲ) - ἀρχὴ σοφίας φόβος κυρίου καὶ βουλὴ ἁγίων σύνεσις (Ⅳ) - Principium sapientiæ timor Domini,/ et scientia sanctorum prudentia./ (Ⅴ)

11 ׃9 כי בי ירבו ימיך ויוסיפו לך שנות חיים
- C'est par moi que tes jours se multiplieront, Et que les années de ta vie augmenteront. (Ⅱ) - For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. (Ⅲ) - τούτω̨ γὰρ τω̨̃ τρόπω̨ πολὺν ζήσεις χρόνον καὶ προστεθήσεταί σοι ἔτη ζωη̃ς σου (Ⅳ) - Per me enim multiplicabuntur dies tui,/ et addentur tibi anni vitæ./ (Ⅴ)

12 ׃9 אם חכמת חכמת לך ולצת לבדך תשא
- Si tu es sage, tu es sage pour toi; Si tu es moqueur, tu en porteras seul la peine. (Ⅱ) - If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it. (Ⅲ) - υἱέ ἐὰν σοφὸς γένη̨ σεαυτω̨̃ σοφὸς ἔση̨ καὶ τοι̃ς πλησίον ἐὰν δὲ κακὸς ἀποβη̨̃ς μόνος ἀναντλήσεις κακά (Ⅳ) - Si sapiens fueris, tibimetipsi eris ;/ si autem illusor, solus portabis malum.]\ (Ⅴ)

13 ׃9 אשת כסילות המיה פתיות ובל ידעה מה
- La folie est une femme bruyante, Stupide et ne sachant rien. (Ⅱ) - A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing. (Ⅲ) - γυνὴ ἄφρων καὶ θρασει̃α ἐνδεὴς ψωμου̃ γίνεται ἣ οὐκ ἐπίσταται αἰσχύνην (Ⅳ) - Mulier stulta et clamosa,/ plenaque illecebris, et nihil omnino sciens,/ (Ⅴ)

14 ׃9 וישבה לפתח ביתה על כסא מרמי קרת
- Elle s'assied à l'entrée de sa maison, Sur un siège, dans les hauteurs de la ville, (Ⅱ) - For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, (Ⅲ) - ἐκάθισεν ἐπὶ θύραις του̃ ἑαυτη̃ς οἴκου ἐπὶ δίφρου ἐμφανω̃ς ἐν πλατείαις (Ⅳ) - sedit in foribus domus suæ,/ super sellam in excelso urbis loco,/ (Ⅴ)

15 ׃9 לקרא לעברי דרך המישרים ארחותם
- Pour crier aux passants, Qui vont droit leur chemin: (Ⅱ) - To call passengers who go right on their ways: (Ⅲ) - προσκαλουμένη τοὺς παριόντας καὶ κατευθύνοντας ἐν ται̃ς ὁδοι̃ς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - ut vocaret transeuntes per viam,/ et pergentes itinere suo :/ (Ⅴ)

16 ׃9 מי פתי יסר הנה וחסר לב ואמרה לו

17 ׃9 מים גנובים ימתקו ולחם סתרים ינעם
- Les eaux dérobées sont douces, Et le pain du mystère est agréable! (Ⅱ) - Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. (Ⅲ) - ἄρτων κρυφίων ἡδέως ἅψασθε καὶ ὕδατος κλοπη̃ς γλυκερου̃ (Ⅳ) - Aquæ furtivæ dulciores sunt,/ et panis absconditus suavior./ (Ⅴ)

18 ׃9 ולא ידע כי רפאים שם בעמקי שאול קראיה פ
- Et il ne sait pas que là sont les morts, Et que ses invités sont dans les vallées du séjour des morts. (Ⅱ) - But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell. (Ⅲ) - ὁ δὲ οὐκ οἰ̃δεν ὅτι γηγενει̃ς παρ' αὐτη̨̃ ὄλλυνται καὶ ἐπὶ πέτευρον ἅ̨δου συναντα̨̃ (Ⅳ) - Et ignoravit quod ibi sint gigantes,/ et in profundis inferni convivæ ejus.] (Ⅴ)
