IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH:
- Il est beau de louer l'Éternel, Et de célébrer ton nom, ô Très Haut! (Ⅱ) - ἀγαθὸν τὸ ἐξομολογει̃σθαι τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ καὶ ψάλλειν τω̨̃ ὀνόματί σου ὕψιστε (Ⅲ) - [Bonum est confiteri Domino,/ et psallere nomini tuo, Altissime :/ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃92 טוב להדות ליהוה ולזמר לשמך עליון (Ⅴ)

To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
- D'annoncer le matin ta bonté, Et ta fidélité pendant les nuits, (Ⅱ) - του̃ ἀναγγέλλειν τὸ πρωὶ τὸ ἔλεός σου καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου κατὰ νύκτα (Ⅲ) - ad annuntiandum mane misericordiam tuam,/ et veritatem tuam per noctem,/ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃92 להגיד בבקר חסדך ואמונתך בלילות (Ⅴ)

Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
- Sur l'instrument à dix cordes et sur le luth, Aux sons de la harpe. (Ⅱ) - ἐν δεκαχόρδω̨ ψαλτηρίω̨ μετ' ὠ̨δη̃ς ἐν κιθάρα̨ (Ⅲ) - in decachordo, psalterio ;/ cum cantico, in cithara./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃92 עלי עשור ועלי נבל עלי הגיון בכנור (Ⅴ)

For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
- Tu me réjouis par tes oeuvres, ô Éternel! Et je chante avec allégresse l'ouvrage de tes mains. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι εὔφρανάς με κύριε ἐν τω̨̃ ποιήματί σου καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς ἔργοις τω̃ν χειρω̃ν σου ἀγαλλιάσομαι (Ⅲ) - Quia delectasti me, Domine, in factura tua ;/ et in operibus manuum tuarum exsultabo./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃92 כי שמחתני יהוה בפעלך במעשי ידיך ארנן (Ⅴ)

O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
- Que tes oeuvres sont grandes, ô Éternel! Que tes pensées sont profondes! (Ⅱ) - ὡς ἐμεγαλύνθη τὰ ἔργα σου κύριε σφόδρα ἐβαθύνθησαν οἱ διαλογισμοί σου (Ⅲ) - Quam magnificata sunt opera tua, Domine !/ nimis profundæ factæ sunt cogitationes tuæ./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃92 מה גדלו מעשיך יהוה מאד עמקו מחשבתיך (Ⅴ)

A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
- L'homme stupide n'y connaît rien, Et l'insensé n'y prend point garde. (Ⅱ) - ἀνὴρ ἄφρων οὐ γνώσεται καὶ ἀσύνετος οὐ συνήσει ταυ̃τα (Ⅲ) - Vir insipiens non cognoscet,/ et stultus non intelliget hæc./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃92 איש בער לא ידע וכסיל לא יבין את זאת (Ⅴ)

When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
- Si les méchants croissent comme l'herbe, Si tous ceux qui font le mal fleurissent, C'est pour être anéantis à jamais. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τω̨̃ ἀνατει̃λαι τοὺς ἁμαρτωλοὺς ὡς χόρτον καὶ διέκυψαν πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν ὅπως ἂν ἐξολεθρευθω̃σιν εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να του̃ αἰω̃νος (Ⅲ) - Cum exorti fuerint peccatores sicut fœnum,/ et apparuerint omnes qui operantur iniquitatem,/ ut intereant in sæculum sæculi :/ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃92 בפרח רשעים כמו עשב ויציצו כל פעלי און להשמדם עדי עד (Ⅴ)

But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
- Mais toi, tu es le Très Haut, A perpétuité, ô Éternel! (Ⅱ) - σὺ δὲ ὕψιστος εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να κύριε (Ⅲ) - tu autem Altissimus in æternum, Domine./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃92 ואתה מרום לעלם יהוה (Ⅴ)

For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
- Car voici, tes ennemis, ô Éternel! Car voici, tes ennemis périssent; Tous ceux qui font le mal sont dispersés. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ ἐχθροί σου ἀπολου̃νται καὶ διασκορπισθήσονται πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν (Ⅲ) - Quoniam ecce inimici tui, Domine,/ quoniam ecce inimici tui peribunt ;/ et dispergentur omnes qui operantur iniquitatem./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃92 כי הנה איביך יהוה כי הנה איביך יאבדו יתפרדו כל פעלי און (Ⅴ)

But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
- Et tu me donnes la force du buffle; Je suis arrosé avec une huile fraîche. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὑψωθήσεται ὡς μονοκέρωτος τὸ κέρας μου καὶ τὸ γη̃ράς μου ἐν ἐλαίω̨ πίονι (Ⅲ) - Et exaltabitur sicut unicornis cornu meum,/ et senectus mea in misericordia uberi./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃92 ותרם כראים קרני בלתי בשמן רענן (Ⅴ)

Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
- Mon oeil se plaît à contempler mes ennemis, Et mon oreille à entendre mes méchants adversaires. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπει̃δεν ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου ἐν τοι̃ς ἐχθροι̃ς μου καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς ἐπανιστανομένοις ἐπ' ἐμὲ πονηρευομένοις ἀκούσεται τὸ οὐ̃ς μου (Ⅲ) - Et despexit oculus meus inimicos meos,/ et in insurgentibus in me malignantibus audiet auris mea./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃92 ותבט עיני בשורי בקמים עלי מרעים תשמענה אזני (Ⅴ)

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
- Les justes croissent comme le palmier, Ils s'élèvent comme le cèdre du Liban. (Ⅱ) - δίκαιος ὡς φοι̃νιξ ἀνθήσει ὡσεὶ κέδρος ἡ ἐν τω̨̃ Λιβάνω̨ πληθυνθήσεται (Ⅲ) - Justus ut palma florebit ;/ sicut cedrus Libani multiplicabitur./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃92 צדיק כתמר יפרח כארז בלבנון ישגה (Ⅴ)

Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
- Plantés dans la maison de l'Éternel, Ils prospèrent dans les parvis de notre Dieu; (Ⅱ) - πεφυτευμένοι ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ κυρίου ἐν ται̃ς αὐλαι̃ς του̃ θεου̃ ἡμω̃ν ἐξανθήσουσιν (Ⅲ) - Plantati in domo Domini,/ in atriis domus Dei nostri florebunt./ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃92 שתולים בבית יהוה בחצרות אלהינו יפריחו (Ⅴ)

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
- Ils portent encore des fruits dans la vieillesse, Ils sont pleins de sève et verdoyants, (Ⅱ) - ἔτι πληθυνθήσονται ἐν γήρει πίονι καὶ εὐπαθου̃ντες ἔσονται (Ⅲ) - Adhuc multiplicabuntur in senecta uberi,/ et bene patientes erunt :/ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃92 עוד ינובון בשיבה דשנים ורעננים יהיו (Ⅴ)

To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
- Pour faire connaître que l'Éternel est juste. Il est mon rocher, et il n'y a point en lui d'iniquité. (Ⅱ) - του̃ ἀναγγει̃λαι ὅτι εὐθὴς κύριος ὁ θεός μου καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀδικία ἐν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - ut annuntient quoniam rectus Dominus Deus noster,/ et non est iniquitas in eo.] (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃92 להגיד כי ישר יהוה צורי ולא *עלתה **עולתה בו (Ⅴ)
