- Dieu des vengeances, Éternel! Dieu des vengeances, parais! (Ⅱ) - O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. Exaltare, qui judicas terram ;/ redde retributionem superbis./
- Lève-toi, juge de la terre! Rends aux superbes selon leurs oeuvres! (Ⅱ) - Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud. (Ⅲ) - ὑψώθητι ὁ κρίνων τὴν γη̃ν ἀπόδος ἀνταπόδοσιν τοι̃ς ὑπερηφάνοις (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃94 הנשא שפט הארץ השב גמול על גאים (Ⅴ)

Usquequo peccatores, Domine,/ usquequo peccatores gloriabuntur ;/
- Jusques à quand les méchants, ô Éternel! Jusques à quand les méchants triompheront-ils? (Ⅱ) - LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph? (Ⅲ) - ἕως πότε ἁμαρτωλοί κύριε ἕως πότε ἁμαρτωλοὶ καυχήσονται (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃94 עד מתי רשעים יהוה עד מתי רשעים יעלזו (Ⅴ)

effabuntur et loquentur iniquitatem ;/ loquentur omnes qui operantur injustitiam ?/
- Ils discourent, ils parlent avec arrogance; Tous ceux qui font le mal se glorifient. (Ⅱ) - How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves? (Ⅲ) - φθέγξονται καὶ λαλήσουσιν ἀδικίαν λαλήσουσιν πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃94 יביעו ידברו עתק יתאמרו כל פעלי און (Ⅴ)

Populum tuum, Domine, humiliaverunt,/ et hæreditatem tuam vexaverunt./
- Éternel! ils écrasent ton peuple, Ils oppriment ton héritage; (Ⅱ) - They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage. (Ⅲ) - τὸν λαόν σου κύριε ἐταπείνωσαν καὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν σου ἐκάκωσαν (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃94 עמך יהוה ידכאו ונחלתך יענו (Ⅴ)

Viduam et advenam interfecerunt,/ et pupillos occiderunt./
- Ils égorgent la veuve et l'étranger, Ils assassinent les orphelins. (Ⅱ) - They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. (Ⅲ) - χήραν καὶ προσήλυτον ἀπέκτειναν καὶ ὀρφανοὺς ἐφόνευσαν (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃94 אלמנה וגר יהרגו ויתומים ירצחו (Ⅴ)

Et dixerunt : Non videbit Dominus,/ nec intelliget Deus Jacob./
- Et ils disent: L'Éternel ne regarde pas, Le Dieu de Jacob ne fait pas attention! (Ⅱ) - Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it. (Ⅲ) - καὶ εἰ̃παν οὐκ ὄψεται κύριος οὐδὲ συνήσει ὁ θεὸς του̃ Ιακωβ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃94 ויאמרו לא יראה יה ולא יבין אלהי יעקב (Ⅴ)

Intelligite, insipientes in populo ;/ et stulti, aliquando sapite./
- Prenez-y garde, hommes stupides! Insensés, quand serez-vous sages? (Ⅱ) - Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? (Ⅲ) - σύνετε δή ἄφρονες ἐν τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ καί μωροί ποτὲ φρονήσατε (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃94 בינו בערים בעם וכסילים מתי תשכילו (Ⅴ)

Qui plantavit aurem non audiet ?/ aut qui finxit oculum non considerat ?/
- Celui qui a planté l'oreille n'entendrait-il pas? Celui qui a formé l'oeil ne verrait-il pas? (Ⅱ) - He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? (Ⅲ) - ὁ φυτεύσας τὸ οὐ̃ς οὐχὶ ἀκούει ἢ ὁ πλάσας τὸν ὀφθαλμὸν οὐ κατανοει̃ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃94 הנטע אזן[c] הלא ישמע אם יצר עין הלא יביט (Ⅴ)

Qui corripit gentes non arguet,/ qui docet hominem scientiam ?/
- Celui qui châtie les nations ne punirait-il point, Lui qui donne à l'homme l'intelligence? (Ⅱ) - He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know? (Ⅲ) - ὁ παιδεύων ἔθνη οὐχὶ ἐλέγξει ὁ διδάσκων ἄνθρωπον γνω̃σιν (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃94 היסר גוים הלא יוכיח המלמד אדם דעת (Ⅴ)

Dominus scit cogitationes hominum,/ quoniam vanæ sunt./
- L'Éternel connaît les pensées de l'homme, Il sait qu'elles sont vaines. (Ⅱ) - The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. (Ⅲ) - κύριος γινώσκει τοὺς διαλογισμοὺς τω̃ν ἀνθρώπων ὅτι εἰσὶν μάταιοι (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃94 יהוה ידע מחשבות אדם כי המה הבל (Ⅴ)

Beatus homo quem tu erudieris, Domine,/ et de lege tua docueris eum :/
- Heureux l'homme que tu châties, ô Éternel! Et que tu instruis par ta loi, (Ⅱ) - Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law; (Ⅲ) - μακάριος ἄνθρωπος ὃν ἂν σὺ παιδεύση̨ς κύριε καὶ ἐκ του̃ νόμου σου διδάξη̨ς αὐτὸν (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃94 אשרי הגבר אשר תיסרנו יה ומתורתך תלמדנו (Ⅴ)

ut mitiges ei a diebus malis,/ donec fodiatur peccatori fovea./
- Pour le calmer aux jours du malheur, Jusqu'à ce que la fosse soit creusée pour le méchant! (Ⅱ) - That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked. (Ⅲ) - του̃ πραυ̃ναι αὐτω̨̃ ἀφ' ἡμερω̃ν πονηρω̃ν ἕως οὑ̃ ὀρυγη̨̃ τω̨̃ ἁμαρτωλω̨̃ βόθρος (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃94 להשקיט לו[c] מימי רע עד יכרה לרשע שחת (Ⅴ)

Quia non repellet Dominus plebem suam,/ et hæreditatem suam non derelinquet,/
- Car l'Éternel ne délaisse pas son peuple, Il n'abandonne pas son héritage; (Ⅱ) - For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. (Ⅲ) - ὅτι οὐκ ἀπώσεται κύριος τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτου̃ οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψει (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃94 כי לא יטש יהוה עמו ונחלתו לא יעזב (Ⅴ)

quoadusque justitia convertatur in judicium :/ et qui juxta illam, omnes qui recto sunt corde./
- Car le jugement sera conforme à la justice, Et tous ceux dont le coeur est droit l'approuveront. (Ⅱ) - But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it. (Ⅲ) - ἕως οὑ̃ δικαιοσύνη ἐπιστρέψη̨ εἰς κρίσιν καὶ ἐχόμενοι αὐτη̃ς πάντες οἱ εὐθει̃ς τη̨̃ καρδία̨ διάψαλμα (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃94 כי עד צדק ישוב משפט ואחריו כל ישרי לב (Ⅴ)

Quis consurget mihi adversus malignantes ?/ aut quis stabit mecum adversus operantes iniquitatem ?/
- Qui se lèvera pour moi contre les méchants? Qui me soutiendra contre ceux qui font le mal? (Ⅱ) - Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? (Ⅲ) - τίς ἀναστήσεταί μοι ἐπὶ πονηρευομένους ἢ τίς συμπαραστήσεταί μοι ἐπὶ ἐργαζομένους τὴν ἀνομίαν (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃94 מי יקום לי עם מרעים מי יתיצב לי עם פעלי און (Ⅴ)

Nisi quia Dominus adjuvit me,/ paulominus habitasset in inferno anima mea./
- Si l'Éternel n'était pas mon secours, Mon âme serait bien vite dans la demeure du silence. (Ⅱ) - Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. (Ⅲ) - εἰ μὴ ὅτι κύριος ἐβοήθησέν μοι παρὰ βραχὺ παρώ̨κησεν τω̨̃ ἅ̨δη̨ ἡ ψυχή μου (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃94 לולי יהוה עזרתה לי כמעט שכנה דומה נפשי (Ⅴ)

Si dicebam : Motus est pes meus :/ misericordia tua, Domine, adjuvabat me./
- Quand je dis: Mon pied chancelle! Ta bonté, ô Éternel! me sert d'appui. (Ⅱ) - When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up. (Ⅲ) - εἰ ἔλεγον σεσάλευται ὁ πούς μου τὸ ἔλεός σου κύριε βοηθει̃ μοι (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃94 אם אמרתי מטה רגלי חסדך יהוה יסעדני (Ⅴ)

Secundum multitudinem dolorum meorum in corde meo,/ consolationes tuæ lætificaverunt animam meam./
- Quand les pensées s'agitent en foule au dedans de moi, Tes consolations réjouissent mon âme. (Ⅱ) - In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. (Ⅲ) - κύριε κατὰ τὸ πλη̃θος τω̃ν ὀδυνω̃ν μου ἐν τη̨̃ καρδία̨ μου αἱ παρακλήσεις σου ἠγάπησαν τὴν ψυχήν μου (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃94 ברב שרעפי בקרבי תנחומיך ישעשעו נפשי (Ⅴ)

Numquid adhæret tibi sedes iniquitatis,/ qui fingis laborem in præcepto ?/
- Les méchants te feraient-ils siéger sur leur trône, Eux qui forment des desseins iniques en dépit de la loi? (Ⅱ) - Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law? (Ⅲ) - μὴ συμπροσέσται σοι θρόνος ἀνομίας ὁ πλάσσων κόπον ἐπὶ προστάγματι (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃94 היחברך כסא הוות יצר עמל עלי חק (Ⅴ)

Captabunt in animam justi,/ et sanguinem innocentem condemnabunt./
- Ils se rassemblent contre la vie du juste, Et ils condamnent le sang innocent. (Ⅱ) - They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. (Ⅲ) - θηρεύσουσιν ἐπὶ ψυχὴν δικαίου καὶ αἱ̃μα ἀθω̨̃ον καταδικάσονται (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃94 יגודו על נפש צדיק ודם נקי ירשיעו (Ⅴ)

Et factus est mihi Dominus in refugium,/ et Deus meus in adjutorium spei meæ./
- Mais l'Éternel est ma retraite, Mon Dieu est le rocher de mon refuge. (Ⅱ) - But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐγένετό μοι κύριος εἰς καταφυγὴν καὶ ὁ θεός μου εἰς βοηθὸν ἐλπίδος μου (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃94 ויהי יהוה לי למשגב ואלהי לצור מחסי (Ⅴ)

Et reddet illis iniquitatem ipsorum,/ et in malitia eorum disperdet eos :/ disperdet illos Dominus Deus noster.]
- Il fera retomber sur eux leur iniquité, Il les anéantira par leur méchanceté; L'Éternel, notre Dieu, les anéantira. (Ⅱ) - And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀποδώσει αὐτοι̃ς τὴν ἀνομίαν αὐτω̃ν καὶ κατὰ τὴν πονηρίαν αὐτω̃ν ἀφανιει̃ αὐτοὺς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃94 וישב עליהם את אונם וברעתם יצמיתם יצמיתם יהוה אלהינו (Ⅴ)
