Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
- Car l'Éternel est grand et très digne de louange, Il est redoutable par-dessus tous les dieux; (Ⅱ) - ὅτι μέγας κύριος καὶ αἰνετὸς σφόδρα φοβερός ἐστιν ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς θεούς (Ⅲ) - Quoniam magnus Dominus, et laudabilis nimis :/ terribilis est super omnes deos./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃96 כי גדול יהוה ומהלל מאד נורא הוא על כל אלהים (Ⅴ)

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
- La splendeur et la magnificence sont devant sa face, La gloire et la majesté sont dans son sanctuaire. (Ⅱ) - ἐξομολόγησις καὶ ὡραιότης ἐνώπιον αὐτου̃ ἁγιωσύνη καὶ μεγαλοπρέπεια ἐν τω̨̃ ἁγιάσματι αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Confessio et pulchritudo in conspectu ejus ;/ sanctimonia et magnificentia in sanctificatione ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃96 הוד והדר לפניו עז ותפארת במקדשו (Ⅴ)

Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
- Rendez à l'Éternel gloire pour son nom! Apportez des offrandes, et entrez dans ses parvis! O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

(Ⅱ) - προσκυνήσατε τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐν αὐλη̨̃ ἁγία̨ αὐτου̃ σαλευθήτω ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτου̃ πα̃σα ἡ γη̃ (Ⅲ) - adorate Dominum in atrio sancto ejus./ Commoveatur a facie ejus universa terra ;/ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃96 השתחוו ליהוה בהדרת קדש חילו מפניו כל הארץ (Ⅴ)

Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
- Dites parmi les nations: L'Éternel règne; Aussi le monde est ferme, il ne chancelle pas; L'Éternel juge les peuples avec droiture. (Ⅱ) - εἴπατε ἐν τοι̃ς ἔθνεσιν ὁ κύριος ἐβασίλευσεν καὶ γὰρ κατώρθωσεν τὴν οἰκουμένην ἥτις οὐ σαλευθήσεται κρινει̃ λαοὺς ἐν εὐθύτητι (Ⅲ) - dicite in gentibus, quia Dominus regnavit./ Etenim correxit orbem terræ, qui non commovebitur ;/ judicabit populos in æquitate./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃96 אמרו בגוים יהוה מלך אף תכון תבל בל תמוט ידין עמים במישרים (Ⅴ)

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
- Que les cieux se réjouissent, et que la terre soit dans l'allégresse, Que la mer retentisse avec tout ce qu'elle contient, (Ⅱ) - εὐφραινέσθωσαν οἱ οὐρανοί καὶ ἀγαλλιάσθω ἡ γη̃ σαλευθήτω ἡ θάλασσα καὶ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Lætentur cæli, et exsultet terra ;/ commoveatur mare et plenitudo ejus ;/ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃96 ישמחו השמים ותגל הארץ ירעם הים ומלאו (Ⅴ)

Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
- Que la campagne s'égaie avec tout ce qu'elle renferme, Que tous les arbres des forêts poussent des cris de joie, (Ⅱ) - χαρήσεται τὰ πεδία καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτοι̃ς τότε ἀγαλλιάσονται πάντα τὰ ξύλα του̃ δρυμου̃ (Ⅲ) - gaudebunt campi, et omnia quæ in eis sunt./ Tunc exsultabunt omnia ligna silvarum/ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃96 יעלז שדי וכל אשר בו אז ירננו כל עצי יער (Ⅴ)

Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
- Devant l'Éternel! Car il vient, Car il vient pour juger la terre; Il jugera le monde avec justice, Et les peuples selon sa fidélité. (Ⅱ) - πρὸ προσώπου κυρίου ὅτι ἔρχεται ὅτι ἔρχεται κρι̃ναι τὴν γη̃ν κρινει̃ τὴν οἰκουμένην ἐν δικαιοσύνη̨ καὶ λαοὺς ἐν τη̨̃ ἀληθεία̨ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - a facie Domini, quia venit,/ quoniam venit judicare terram./ Judicabit orbem terræ in æquitate,/ et populos in veritate sua.] (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃96 לפני יהוה כי בא כי בא לשפט הארץ ישפט תבל בצדק ועמים באמונתו (Ⅴ)
