The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
- La parole de l'Éternel qui fut adressée à Osée, fils de Beéri, au temps d'Ozias, de Jotham, d'Achaz, d'Ézéchias, rois de Juda, et au temps de Jéroboam, fils de Joas, roi d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - λόγος κυρίου ὃς ἐγενήθη πρὸς Ωσηε τὸν του̃ Βεηρι ἐν ἡμέραις Οζιου καὶ Ιωαθαμ καὶ Αχαζ καὶ Εζεκιου βασιλέων Ιουδα καὶ ἐν ἡμέραις Ιεροβοαμ υἱου̃ Ιωας βασιλέως Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Verbum Domini, quod factum est ad Osee, filium Beeri, in diebus Oziæ, Joathan, Achaz, Ezechiæ, regum Juda ; et in diebus Jeroboam, filii Joas, regis Israël.\ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃1 דבר יהוה אשר היה אל הושע בן בארי בימי עזיה יותם אחז יחזקיה מלכי יהודה ובימי ירבעם בן יואש מלך ישראל (Ⅴ)

The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
- La première fois que l'Éternel adressa la parole à Osée, l'Éternel dit à Osée: Va, prends une femme prostituée et des enfants de prostitution; car le pays se prostitue, il abandonne l'Éternel! (Ⅱ) - ἀρχὴ λόγου κυρίου πρὸς Ωσηε καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Ωσηε βάδιζε λαβὲ σεαυτω̨̃ γυναι̃κα πορνείας καὶ τέκνα πορνείας διότι ἐκπορνεύουσα ἐκπορνεύσει ἡ γη̃ ἀπὸ ὄπισθεν του̃ κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Principium loquendi Domino in Osee. Et dixit Dominus ad Osee : Vade, sume tibi uxorem fornicationum, et fac tibi filios fornicationum, quia fornicans fornicabitur terra a Domino. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃1 תחלת דבר יהוה בהושע פויאמר יהוה אל הושע לך קח לך אשת זנונים וילדי זנונים כי זנה תזנה הארץ מאחרי יהוה (Ⅴ)

So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him a son.
- Il alla, et il prit Gomer, fille de Diblaïm. Elle conçut, et lui enfanta un fils. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπορεύθη καὶ ἔλαβεν τὴν Γομερ θυγατέρα Δεβηλαιμ καὶ συνέλαβεν καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτω̨̃ υἱόν (Ⅲ) - Et abiit, et accepit Gomer, filiam Debelaim : et concepit, et peperit ei filium. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃1 וילך ויקח את גמר בת דבלים ותהר ותלד לו בן (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.
- Et l'Éternel lui dit: Appelle-le du nom de Jizreel; car encore un peu de temps, et je châtierai la maison de Jéhu pour le sang versé à Jizreel, je mettrai fin au royaume de la maison d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς αὐτόν κάλεσον τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Ιεζραελ διότι ἔτι μικρὸν καὶ ἐκδικήσω τὸ αἱ̃μα του̃ Ιεζραελ ἐπὶ τὸν οἰ̃κον Ιου καὶ καταπαύσω βασιλείαν οἴκου Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Et dixit Dominus ad eum : Voca nomen ejus Jezrahel, quoniam adhuc modicum, et visitabo sanguinem Jezrahel super domum Jehu, et quiescere faciam regnum domus Israël. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃1 ויאמר יהוה אליו קרא שמו יזרעאל כי עוד מעט ופקדתי את דמי יזרעאל על בית יהוא והשבתי ממלכות בית ישראל (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel, in the valley of Jezreel.
- En ce jour-là, je briserai l'arc d'Israël dans la vallée de Jizreel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ συντρίψω τὸ τόξον του̃ Ισραηλ ἐν τη̨̃ κοιλάδι του̃ Ιεζραελ (Ⅲ) - Et in illa die conteram arcum Israël in valle Jezrahel. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃1 והיה ביום ההוא ושברתי את קשת ישראל בעמק יזרעאל (Ⅴ)

And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.
- Elle conçut de nouveau, et enfanta une fille. Et l'Éternel dit à Osée: Donne-lui le nom de Lo Ruchama; car je n'aurai plus pitié de la maison d'Israël, je ne lui pardonnerai plus. (Ⅱ) - καὶ συνέλαβεν ἔτι καὶ ἔτεκεν θυγατέρα καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ κάλεσον τὸ ὄνομα αὐτη̃ς Οὐκ-ἠλεημένη διότι οὐ μὴ προσθήσω ἔτι ἐλεη̃σαι τὸν οἰ̃κον του̃ Ισραηλ ἀλλ' ἢ ἀντιτασσόμενος ἀντιτάξομαι αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et concepit adhuc, et peperit filiam. Et dixit ei : Voca nomen ejus, Absque misericordia, quia non addam ultra misereri domui Israël, sed oblivione obliviscar eorum. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃1 ותהר עוד ותלד בת ויאמר לו קרא שמה לא רחמה כי לא אוסיף עוד ארחם את בית ישראל כי נשא אשא להם (Ⅴ)

But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
- Mais j'aurai pitié de la maison de Juda; je les sauverai par l'Éternel, leur Dieu, et je ne les sauverai ni par l'arc, ni par l'épée, ni par les combats, ni par les chevaux, ni par les cavaliers. (Ⅱ) - τοὺς δὲ υἱοὺς Ιουδα ἐλεήσω καὶ σώσω αὐτοὺς ἐν κυρίω̨ θεω̨̃ αὐτω̃ν καὶ οὐ σώσω αὐτοὺς ἐν τόξω̨ οὐδὲ ἐν ῥομφαία̨ οὐδὲ ἐν πολέμω̨ οὐδὲ ἐν ἅρμασιν οὐδὲ ἐν ἵπποις οὐδὲ ἐν ἱππευ̃σιν (Ⅲ) - Et domui Juda miserebor, et salvabo eos in Domino Deo suo ; et non salvabo eos in arcu et gladio, et in bello, et in equis, et in equitibus. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃1 ואת בית יהודה ארחם והושעתים ביהוה אלהיהם ולא אושיעם בקשת ובחרב ובמלחמה בסוסים ובפרשים (Ⅴ)

Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.
- Elle sevra Lo Ruchama; puis elle conçut, et enfanta un fils. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπεγαλάκτισεν τὴν Οὐκ-ἠλεημένην καὶ συνέλαβεν ἔτι καὶ ἔτεκεν υἱόν (Ⅲ) - Et ablactavit eam quæ erat Absque misericordia. Et concepit, et peperit filium. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃1 ותגמל את לא רחמה ותהר ותלד בן (Ⅴ)

Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
- Et l'Éternel dit: Donne-lui le nom de Lo Ammi; car vous n'êtes pas mon peuple, et je ne suis pas votre Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κάλεσον τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Οὐ-λαόσ-μου διότι ὑμει̃ς οὐ λαός μου καὶ ἐγὼ οὔκ εἰμι ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Et dixit : Voca nomen ejus, Non populus meus, quia vos non populus meus, et ego non ero vester. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃1 ויאמר קרא שמו לא עמי כי אתם לא עמי ואנכי לא אהיה לכם ס (Ⅴ)

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
- Cependant le nombre des enfants d'Israël sera comme le sable de la mer, qui ne peut ni se mesurer ni se compter; et au lieu qu'on leur disait: Vous n'êtes pas mon peuple! on leur dira: Fils du Dieu vivant! (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἠ̃ν ὁ ἀριθμὸς τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ὡς ἡ ἄμμος τη̃ς θαλάσσης ἣ οὐκ ἐκμετρηθήσεται οὐδὲ ἐξαριθμηθήσεται καὶ ἔσται ἐν τω̨̃ τόπω̨ οὑ̃ ἐρρέθη αὐτοι̃ς οὐ λαός μου ὑμει̃ς ἐκει̃ κληθήσονται υἱοὶ θεου̃ ζω̃ντος (Ⅲ) - Et erit numerus filiorum Israël quasi arena maris, quæ sine mensura est, et non numerabitur. Et erit in loco ubi dicetur eis : Non populus meus vos : dicetur eis : Filii Dei viventis. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃2 והיה מספר בני ישראל כחול הים אשר לא ימד ולא יספר והיה במקום אשר יאמר להם לא עמי אתם יאמר להם בני אל חי (Ⅴ)

Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
- Les enfants de Juda et les enfants d'Israël se rassembleront, se donneront un chef, et sortiront du pays; car grande sera la journée de Jizreel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ συναχθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ιουδα καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ καὶ θήσονται ἑαυτοι̃ς ἀρχὴν μίαν καὶ ἀναβήσονται ἐκ τη̃ς γη̃ς ὅτι μεγάλη ἡ ἡμέρα του̃ Ιεζραελ (Ⅲ) - Et congregabuntur filii Juda et filii Israël pariter ; et ponent sibimet caput unum, et ascendent de terra, quia magnus dies Jezrahel. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃2 ונקבצו בני יהודה ובני ישראל יחדו ושמו להם ראש אחד ועלו מן הארץ כי גדול יום יזרעאל (Ⅴ)
